what fool gave these two keys whoever had to know they would just take over and end up causing Justin more stress?

Author's Response:

I think it was more Justin gave his mother a key and is now regretting it. Thanks for reading! :)

Mothers!  What do they know?

Author's Response:

I think the biggest problem sometimes is, when women pop out a baby, they somehow think they are experts because, of course, they went through it all. But my research shows that there really isn't anything called a 'typical pregnancy.' It varies from person to person; and just because a person experienced something in their pregnancy, doesn't mean their child or sibling will experience the same thing. Like, when I was researching the signs of labor for one of my first vignettes, the pain people felt was wildly different from person to person; like some barely felt any pain at all, and said it was nothing more than what they'd experience when having menstral cramping, whereas others felt like they were being ripped apart. It's been a very interesting journey through this story.

I cannot blame Justin for getting annoyed, I know they mean well but hovering people can make you think things you’d never do. I’m so glad Brian arrived home when he did because Justin may have blown his top if he hadn’t.

Brillliant work x

Author's Response:

Yes; they really mean well, but they are going about it in all the wrong ways. Justin is not someone who will put up with others telling him how to live his life as proven over and over again in the series. They really should have known that trying to manuever him into doing things their way was going to fail.

Interfereing Moms seem to be on the menu for everyone today.  Hope Deb & jen get the hint and back off but that is doubtful!

Author's Response:

Do mothers ever really stop mothering their 'kids'? I'm sure they'll back off for a bit, but it's in their natures to meddle. :)

Oh, I loved this chapter!  So funny with Justin's reactions to his 'mothers' words. And that 'delicate condition' - oh, I can see Justin erupting after that.  Love how Brian had to hold him back, and that 'easy, tiger,' line.  I well remember how Justin despised the infantalizing of him after the bashing, so this is so in character.  And I think you had both Debbie and Jennifer's characters written expertly. I could see both of them saying what they did, as well as joining together to make sure their 'baby' wasn't overexerting himself.

The two boys' love for each other shows so clearly here, and in your entire story. This is a joy to read!  Thank you for the frequent updates, too. Looking forward to the next part. :)  ~Kim

Author's Response:

If you couldn't tell, I really love when Justin is being a bitchy, little brat. Of course, had he stopped when he should have, and had actually eaten, he might not be as cranky. So, that's on him as well. I am glad it rang true to canon with him and the mothers. And Rage as always coming to JT's rescue. Well, JT's victims rescue, but close enough. :)

Oh dear trouble in paradise with the well intentioned mother’s but surely they know Justin! And who is the sneaky bastard snooping on our happy couple, is it Ethan I wonder?

Author's Response:

I thought I responded to this, but I guess not. Moms always think they know best and they are well meaning, but they are going about it in the wrong way. Thanks and sorry I didn't respond before now.
