I just love returning to an old favourite on a cold, wet and blustery day :-)

Author's Response:

I am so happy you chose to revisit this story, Nickknack.  It is the only one of my short stories that I continued on with sequels, and I really enjoyed writing it.  Thank you for commenting.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Hi Grammy,

We really are mothers. I would have preferred Justin to be 21 instead of 17 when he met Brian. ;)

Author's Response:

Ah yes, I like the idea of Justin at least being college age before meeting Brian, but at least they didn't make him only 15 as they did in the original British version of 'Queer as Folk'.  LOL!  Thank you so much for the great comment, Weave the Magic.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Not fair!  Too short!  But excellent!

Author's Response:

If you liked this story Bigdogz, there are two sequels to it.  Next is 'Young Enough Not to Care' and the last was 'Bold Enough to Take a Stand'.  You might enjoy them too.  Thank you so much for checking this story out and taking the time to respond.  Hugs, Grammy

Now that is love at first sight if I ever saw one.  Thanks

Author's Response:

The chemistry between our boys cannot be denied, no matter what circumstances bring them together.  I actually wrote this intending it to be a single chapter but ended up writing a couple of sequels.  I'm very happy you enjoyed it.  Hopefully I'll get back to the series again and write another sequel.  Hope you'll join me then too.  Big hugs, Grammy

Really enjoyed this take on their first meeting. Will read the sequels as well =)

Author's Response: Thank you Kat.  I am so pleased to know that you are trying out some of my standalone stories.  This one was the first time I tried out a story that led to sequels.  Hope you enjoy them too.  Big hugs, Grammy

Wow!  Powerful story.  Thanks

Author's Response: Thank you so much Lougenessis.  I very much appreciate your comments.  I have two sequels to this story, in case you would like to try them. They continue on with this story line.  One is 'Young Enough Not to Care' and the other is 'Bold Enough to Take A Stand'.  More are planned but I've been swamped with other stories right now.  Thank you again.  Grammy

Nice take on the first episode and I love the fact that Justin is a little older and maybe a little wiser. You wrote the story so well and described what they both were feeling. I love the way it ended with them both falling asleep together, connected like they needed each other straight away. Shame you didn't carry it on a little more as reading more would be cool.

Author's Response: I apologize Shenova, for taking so long to respond.  What wonderful comments.  I truly appreciate them.  This story actually does have two more sequels.  The first one is 'Young Enough Not to Care' and the latest is 'Bold Enough to Take A Stand' in case you would like to read a continuation of this same story.  Originally 'Old Enough...' was planned as a standalone, but so many folks asked for more that I had to continue it.  I plan more in the series, but I became swamped with so many others that I couldn't find time to get to it yet.  I hope you will try out the other two and see if you enjoy them.  Thank you again.  Grammy
