I don't know why I haven't read any of your stuff before. This was awesome. I like the flip in the characters. I would love a sequel to see what they are up to. Thanks for sharing!

Author's Response:

Thank you. I'm glad you found this story. It's always great to hear from a new reader. I don't know about a sequel at this point but I never rule out revisiting these characters in many of these worlds I created for them.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I appreciate that! :)

Hi, Janet! I *finally* caught up with all your stories and wow, what a ride it has been. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this story. First of all, it was so different from what you usually write, and for some reason, it made me fall hard, faster than before. The idea of moving the setting to NY was an interesting concept, and making both Brian and Justin apex predators?? Yes, please! I was salivating even before they actually saw each other – you grew the tension so carefully and so gradually that by the point these two did meet, I was about to explode. Justin’s interview with Brandon, Brian’s plans, his meeting with Brandon… and then, finally, the meeting. Watching this version of Brian and Justin together was exhilarating. I loved how confident they both were and when Brian was the one to show a hint of vulnerability, I swear I cooed :D It was so unusual and adorable — and most importantly, realistic. You made Justin into such a self-assured, dominant man that I didn’t question Brian’s desire to give in at all, not for a second.

Justin’s idea for expansion combined with Brian’s approach – that’s a recipe for something brilliant. These two have really found each other in all possible ways. I love how you portrayed the process of them growing closer, how the chase and excitement changed into deeper and more significant feelings.

Michael deserves his separate paragraph! Okay, I know it’s probably a bad thing to say, but I enjoy seeing him as obsessive, crazed stalker so much… I like seeing him as a mature and loyal friend either, but just, something about obsessed and whiny Michael strikes all my guilty pleasure buttons :D I enjoyed seeing how even such immature version of him grew a little toward the end. He went from amusing/annoying to disturbing to creepy to someone deserving pity so realistically, I loved it. I loved Brian’s reactions to him, how Justin was such a constant source of support and dominance when needed.

I’m awed at what you did to Sean — the twists with him was so not what I thought was coming! It’s great how you took such a minor secondary character and turned him into someone with such a distinctive personality. The whole story was so interesting, relaxing, and strangely soothing – I loved it. Thank you so much for writing it and for creating yet another wonderful version of our beloved characters!

Author's Response:

Hello, Katrin! It's so nice to hear from you. I often find myself wondering how you are doing. :)

This was undoubtedly a very diverse story for me. I actually enjoyed writing it much more than I ever imagined. Originally, I hadn't planned on Justin ever bottoming in this story, but listened to my readers and decided if I wanted a bit more balance at the end, I had to compromise some. Of course, I think Justin will always be an ultimate top in this relationship, but I think he will give himself over to Brian's care, from time to time.

There was definitely a lot going on with the secondary characters here, and I do enjoy my shocking plot twists - LOL. No matter how much I put them through in the process, they always share a unique and everlasting connection. That is simply just them.

Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts. I always enjoy your insightful and detailed comments.

I'm sort of shouting for Brian to flip the script anytime now.

Author's Response:

I don't doubt that Brian will know if his opportunity arises. Knowing him and his determination, it will. But, I guess we'll have to see.

Again, thank you for all of your comments, Bob. They are very much appreciated. If you get the time to finish, I hope you enjoy how it ends up. :)

People who get their panties in a twist just because a fictitious character is altered from canon a little, really need to get a life.

Excellent chapter for what is to follow.

Shit! Michael is fish bait now. And we know who's cutting bait later.

A cliffie of doom for Michael. Racing onward to see how this goes.

Well, things are shaping up. Perhaps by the end of this tale, they both win.

Reviewer: Bob (Signed) · Date: February 28, 2018 06:55 AM · On: Taking Care of Business

I'm calling BS here. No way could Brian handle that and drive in NY. No Way!

That little detail aside, do I hear Brian slowly giving in to the idea of letting Justin win?

And for Justin to be caring, adds to his charm and power. Interesting chapter.

Author's Response:

First of all, I'm glad you could find time to start this story. I know how precious your time is with all that's on your plate, so choosing my story is very flattering. :)

I am actually surprised no one else questioned Brian's ability to drive in NY with THAT going on. Lol. I guess after being to NY on multiple occasions and seeing how many of the locals drive and do it distracted with other tasks, I figured yeah, it's possible - if you're that good. LOL.

I guess we'll have to see how much Brian gives in, or if he's finally met his match. In this 'verse that's entirely possible. Writing such inverted roles was fun for me, even if some of my readers protested it. Some people can't adapt to change, even in fictitious characters. Thankfully, those were a minority, and this story was very popular. I'm very grateful and pleased about that.

Thank you for reading and all of your comments. It's always a pleasure to have your insight. :)

Michael, it only takes one clown to f__k up the entire circus.

Great chapter by the way; seduction with a big juicy account for bait.

How can Brian say no to that?

Hi Janet,

I absolutely loved this verse. I adore a confident, strong Justin. I wasn't sure how I felt about Brian being dominated most of the time. But, with every story you write, I'm intrigued & pleasantly surprised always. You & Kim are my all time favorite authors. Always wonderfully written & exciting. I'm sorry I didn't comment much, but it took me a long time to finish. Everything was tied up nicely, as usual with your amazing writing.

Looking forward to getting into the other story you're posting. My memory is leaving me at the moment of the name. Old age. Lol. I know after I leave the site, I will remember the name. So sorry.

I hope you're well. I know you work  long hours. Thank you for taking me out of real life for awhile. Michael was an asshole, which I like. Best story ever. Hugs, Annie

Author's Response:

Hello, Annie!

I'm so glad you enjoyed this story. This one was definitely different from the onset. Even being the writer, I was a bit unsure of how I would feel writing Brian in a more submissive role, even if only at times. We know that is not how I typically write him, so it was indeed a challenge!

I am hoping that since I only have one WIP now, which is 'Primitive,' (not that I don't have other irons in the fire on the sideline!), that the updates can be more regular until it's finished. Right now, I am managing weekly updates, but we'll see how it goes.

Thank you for reading, and your kind words of support, my friend. I truly appreciate that more than I can say.

Here I am, leaving my review to one of my favourite  authors. I must confess  it was really hard at first to go through the hunted Brian: I've no problem with a strong justin, no problem with Mpreg...but really, having a Brian forced to do anything doesn't fit well with me. But it's because of your great writing that I appreciated anyway this ff. You made believable what i can't believe and in some way you manteined Brian's personality at an acceptable level. Great story, great characters.

Author's Response:

Hello, Ersilia. I really wasn't sure how you would take to this story. I think I even mentioned in my response to you on my Facebook post that it was very different, and definitely not for everyone. I was amazed at how popular this story ended up being. As a writer, this was probably one of my greatest challenges, as we know, this fell far from my norm. That being said, though, I loved writing this story - once I started immersing myself in it. Initially, Brian wasn't ever going to top in this story, but I allowed the readers that gave me regular feedback to sway me a bit in that. In the end, I tried to make them as much of equals as I thought was credible in keeping with this stronger Justin and the original premise. But, in keeping with this 'verse, there was only so much I could compromise. Despite the oddness of this particular story, I am glad you could still enjoy it. This isn't how I see Brian either, but it was certainly fun doing something different. :)

Thank you for reading and commenting. It is much appreciated!

Thank you for another wonderful story.
As much as I love your Dark!Brian, I do have to say your Strong Justin is a sight to behold.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one and do hope that you could be tempted into writing another Strong Justin story.

Added to my list of favorite stories.

Author's Response:

You are very welcome, dear friend. I am so happy you liked this story, and especially this strong Justin. He was such fun for me to write, and I definitely wouldn't rule out writing him like this again. You never know what kind of plot my muse will devise next. Lol.

Again, thank you for reading and your support of this very different story. It has been my pleasure to create this particular world.

Hiya Janet,

I love, love, love, love, love thist story.

Yes, this one has managed to win 1rst place in my fave list of stories done by you. Bye, bye Captiive and Sultan's possesion, hello The Client.

You have surpassed yourself in writing this one.

Sorry for not reviewing earlier. A good friend is moving house so I'm helping her out, So I don't have much time for reading. I snag a chapter here and there inbetween lugging boxes and painting walls.

Once again: I absolutely love this story.

Author's Response:

Hello, Merian!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. That you so favor this story over the ones you previously remembered the most fondly in my work, is deeply flattering to me. This was such a unique 'verse for me to approach. I wasn't sure when I started how it would work, for me and for my readers that have come to expect something completely different from me. This was an immense challenge and I truly threw myself into it. I didn't want it to end; although, I think I ended it where I needed.

Again, thank you for reading and your support. I truly appreciate it more than I can say.

Reviewer: Wendy Dawn (Signed) · Date: January 20, 2018 06:56 AM · On: The Arrival

You’ve done it once again! I love this side of Justin! Seeing as Brian is normally a hunter to see Justin also as an equal if not surpassing in skill hunter was phenomenal.  I love the balance you gave them. No relationship is ever 50-50 someone always has to be more dominant. You truly achieved a realistic storyline with this one.

It was quite humorous to see both Michael and Ethan being the love sick, deranged and obsessed ‘stalkers’.

I would love to see more of this AU! To see how Brian and Justin adjust to life as bicoastal partners spending time in New York and starting a new office in LA for Kinnetik.  The mile high club would have tons of new members with the flights these two studs would have going back and forth between the coasts.  Not to mention a fresh batch of man for Brian to hunt on his new hunting grounds (with Justin right beside him).

Thanks for sharing this wonderful universe with us readers. Look forward to your next story!

Author's Response:

Thank you, Wendy! I'm so glad you liked Justin here. It was certainly a different kind of undertaking, and definitely for me, quite a challenge. This is the opposite of how I typically write Justin, as we all know. At the start, I was unsure of how I would feel as the story progressed. I had my beginning and ending point. My goal was for them to find each other, love, and a balance that would work without changing the characterizations as derived in this story. I'm so glad I could manage that. I certainly don't rule out a return visit with them at some point. I think there were a few points that could be extended, but we'll see what the future brings. For now, it's all about finishing 'Primitive.'

Thank you for reading and for your kind, supportive comments. I deeply appreciate that. :)

Author's Response:

You are so welcome. I am thrilled you enjoyed the story, and that so many took this very different 'verse into their lives and hearts. It means so much to me. I will probably write as long as I am physically able to do so. There are still a few stories in me yet, I think.

No it doesn't have to end.,  Love this story and wish when it does have to end there could be a sequel to it.

Author's Response:

I truly hated ending it but didn't want it to go on too repetitive. And, hopefully, in time it will free me up to write some more. A sequel isn't impossible in time. I will certainly think on that. :)

It is a beautiful and intense storyline, a very different Justin, but they are finished as equal partners, I hope they have a wonderful future in LA.
Maybe we'll see them back in one of your stories. Greetings xo

Author's Response:

I'm really glad you enjoyed this story. For sure, it was different, most especially in regards to Justin. I've never written him like this, so I wasn't sure how I would even feel about it and him, but I had a lot of fun with this particular challenge. Perhaps we will see them again down the road. While I’ll miss our boys in this ‘verse I think this was a Perfect ending! Who could ask for more... our boys are together in a relationship and beginning their life together. Wonderful to see Brian taking steps to be closer to Justin. Who says he doesn’t go after anyone😏. I think you left a little opening for a sequel too 🤔😊. I would like to check in with them in the future to see how they’re doing. Thank you for taking me on this beautiful journey. I know writing Justin in this role was very different for you but you did a wonderful job. You’re an extremely talented writer and I look forward to your future work!

Author's Response:

Thank you, Laura. I'm really glad you enjoyed the ending. I took my time with it, wanting it just so. I think each of them broke their own self-inflicted rules, but it worked out for them. Yes, I can see where there could be material for a sequel. I'm not sure there will be one, but I never rule anything out. And, as much as I loved writing them in this 'verse, I could end up missing them enough to do that. Haha.

Thank you, both for reading and your constant support. I appreciate that more than I can say. I'm sure there will be another adventure on the horizon. I appear to be hopelessly addicted to them and keeping them alive in the venue of fanfiction. :)

We come to the end and I'm glad to see they are still together.  The only one left behind will be Michael and I don't really see Brian missing him after what he's done.  The good thing is neither man is in charge but equal partners.

Author's Response:

I think they have found the balance that works for them. Would they ever revisit another option? I guess that's for us to wonder. For now, though, I think they are in a place of happiness and comfort. If Brian ever truly missed Michael, it would be the kid he grew up thinking to be his best friend and not the man he became, whether he's straightened up his act or not. As it stands now, though, it appears that Michael is out of Brian's life.

Thanks for reading and always commenting. It is very much appreciated!

Oh wow what a perfect way to end the story but I am so sad to see it end we so need more of the story and to see how the move to LA goes and who moves with them. I loved the bond and the love you shared in this chapter. I actually prefer chapters with no sex at times just ones that show their connection. You did this perfect.

Plz write more you have done an amazing Job xx

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked the ending, Vicki. Even though this story was so heavily versed in sex, I tend to pull back from that at the end. That part of the story, IMO, should be about the connection and future of their relationship. I'm glad you liked how I handled that here. I definitely wouldn't rule out writing another story for them in this 'verse, but we'll have to see.

Thank you for reading and your wonderful support. :)

What a wonderful ending to a wonderful story.   I will miss them so much.  So, yes, maybe a visit in the future to just check in and see how they are doing.  You have done an amazing job with this story so it will be your decision to see if it goes further.  Thank you for your gift of putting your thoughts into words.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the ending. That is the part of a story I become the most analytical. I always want it to come together properly, and not divert from the characterizations in the various premises. I am definitely going to miss my time in this 'verse. It was a unique experience. Regarding anything down the road with a future story for them, we'll see what my muse indicates. For now, I will focus on 'Primitive,' and then see what comes next.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the ending. I wasn't going for an abundance of fluff, that wouldn't work in this premise, but I think they are on the right track to a full and happy life. I enjoyed writing Justin here, and wouldn't rule out writing another story with him similar to this kind of character. It was fun. Thank you for reading and your support. Wow Eatan really is truly delusional and in need of mental help from the pros. Justin could have handled himself but I’m so happy Brian was there. Everyone needs a helping hand at times. This was great because it did show the bond between them and the knowing when to lean and take that helping hand.

Brilliant work as always x

Author's Response:

Ethan is truly messed up. Perhaps his display was a good thing since it led to his confession. That definitely needed to be discovered. Justin probably could have handled the situation, but I think Brian stepped in just made them even stronger. Going forward I think they will be even better together. I'm so glad you enjoyed the chapter. Thanks so much for commenting, Vicki. I do appreciate that so much! :)

What a night indeed. That was hot, sexy, sweet and so loving all in one. I love the respect they have for each other that jumps off the page in a big way and I love that. I love that because it shows neither is being taken advantage of of in the relationship that’s it’s equal.

Oh holy hell that is Eathn doing. I dread to think.

As for Micheal I think he may have some explaining to do in a major way when the events he set in motion.

Incredible chapter x

Author's Response:

They certainly had a hot start to the night. In a way, I think this is their balance. Love, respect, and trust. It all ties together. We probably won't see Michael again since this is about to wrap up, but I think he did learn his lesson and is moving on now. I think he'll always remember what he lost, but he has no one but himself to blame for that.

This was so funny but pathetic as well.  Ethan is crazy.  Brian was certainly looking out for his man and be protective.  Very cute.

Dee Dee

Author's Response:

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Ethan is definitely batshit crazy! LOL. Although Brian knew Justin likes to stand on his own, I think his presence certainly tipped the scales even more in their favor. Who knows what the fool would have done if he'd continued thinking Justin was home alone?

Thanks for commenting, my friend. It's always appreciated! :)

Wow that was totally unexpected once again; Ethan set the fire!  What was comical in the previous chapter is now super creepy in this one, now that all the facts are exposed.  I would love to see the return of the detective and Brian's observations and response to Justin and the detective's interactions. Jealousy, a threesome, who knows? Brian's protectiveness is sweet. Great chapter!

Author's Response:

Ethan is certainly a man of surprises... and not in a good way! Although, I think he fits in with obsessed stalker very well.

Being that the story is nearly over we'll have to see if the detective plays a different role. Not impossible at all, but we'll see. Brian has become very protective, and I think Justin is accepting of it and even enjoys it at times, even if it goes against his character here.

More still to come. Thanks for reading and commenting. I appreciate that! :)

Well now, I didn't see this little twist coming. It never crossed my mind that Ethan was responsible for the fire. I just wrote him off as a minor nuisance here, silly me lol. You never cease to amaze, Janet! Plot twists to the end!

The serenade was so Ethan! The B&J exchange was hilarious!! ["Who the fuck is that? Please tell me he's not one of your tricks..." Brian surveyed the man again, decidedly finding him lacking even for that.

Justin turned to look at Brian, his glare now focused on him. "One of my tricks? Are you fucking kidding me, Brian!? I wouldn't touch that---"] 🤣🤣🤣

So glad that Brian was true to character and followed Justin instead of exploring the mansion. Had he not been there that situation could really have gotten out of hand.

I know the end is near. I have very much enjoyed B&J in this 'verse and will miss them BUT I do realize that all good things must come to an end :sigh:

Thank you for another superb update! I look forward to the next one!

Author's Response:

Haha. The Ethan angle will probably be my last big surprise in this story. He does fit the bill of a stalker, though, but dangerous usually wouldn't come to mind. I don't think he could be so physically, but his actions certainly could have been a danger to others.

I did enjoy writing the Ethan scene. Whether I wanted to visualize it or not, I could see him doing this. LOL.

I'm so glad you have enjoyed this particular journey. Although, it's not quite over, it's very close now. I hope you enjoy how it finishes. More to come as soon as I can. Thanks so much for commenting!

I wouldn’t mind if it dragged on forever.  I love it.  You are doing a great job.  I hope you write more stories like this.  I like Justin as the dominant.  He and Brian are so cute together.

Author's Response:

As much as I could write this story forever, realistically they all have to end. I have enjoyed writing this more than I ever thought possible, and would definitely think about another story with Justin in such a strong role down the road. We'll see what happens. :)

Thanks for reading and commenting. It is so much appreciated!

Wow I am glad Ethan did not get away and will be behind bars where he belongs.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response:

Ethan definitely needed to be captured. Hopefully, things continue to move forward with our boys. We should find out soon.

Ah so now we know who the deranged stalker is. Even though Justin wants to be a dominant he almost swooned at Brian’s protective stance. Ah it must be d84;a039;

Author's Response:

I guess Ethan does fit the bill of a deranged stalker, but in this way, he was more a comic disaster - LOL. As much as Justin as an ultimate dominant, he also enjoys Brian taking control. Perhaps that is where they find a balance.

More to come. Thanks for commenting!

I like how Ethan was ejected! B and J together to protect and love each other. Too bad that this story must end I really like to see them evolve together! Thank you

Author's Response:

Ethan never stood a chance, but he was simply handled - LOL. Brian and Justin definitely are each other's support unit. I can't see anything coming between them now. It would be fun to see how they are going forward, but at this time, it's time to end it. Already, it's been a long story, and I wouldn't want it to be overdone either. Hopefully, the ending will tie everything together.

Thanks so much for your support. It is truly appreciated. :)

It would be wonderful to see them grow thru the years, etc.  But, there is a time for an ending and PLEASE let it be happy.  I like Fab, but Ethan not so much.  Hope you had happy holidays.

Author's Response:

Yes, that would be nice to see, but at this point with how long it's been and how much they've explored, I decided to end it before it becomes too much. I can assure you of one thing, though, all my stories have a happy ending for our boys. I have a very good holiday; I hope you did the same.

Thanks for reading and your comment. I do appreciate that so much!

Huh...I really didn't think of Ethan setting the fire. Didn't even think of him being that deranged. Just assumed he had a massive crush but was a fairly innocent character. That scene went ay beyond my expectations! Big curve ball. Brilliant!!

Was also pretty funny too. Imagining the conversation between B&J with a naked Ethan in teh background playing his fiddle. I had a good ol chuckle over that!

What a great way to start my first day back at work. Yes, I always try to take teh time out to read this even if I'm at work. first day back since the 22nd. Am a bit over whelmed by the emails etc. Gave my brain a break and ran to read this when I got the notification. My brain thanks you!! lol.

Author's Response:

This was probably the last big twist since this story is winding down. Clearly, he is unhinged. It's ironic that Michael found his way back to lucidity, but Ethan seems to be completely gone. LOL. I'm glad you liked the surprise. You know I enjoy throwing them out. Haha.

I am thrilled that this story is included in your busy days, especially at work. That means a lot.

Thank you for reading and your support of this story. Finally, we are approaching the end...

Well you've pegged Ethan.  But I'm wondering if their is someway to connect what he did with Michael.  I don't want Mikey to get off scott free, that would take all the joy out of it.  Loving this.

Author's Response:

Ethan kind of slipped under the radar until now, but his true colors emerged quickly. I know it's nice to see Michael getting his comeuppance, but I don't think we'll see him again. In regards to the fire, even if in nothing else, Michael was in the clear. But, it is so fun to hate him. Lol.

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for your comment. :)

Wow Justin is so hot when he is in control. Too bad their night was interrupted by a stupid Ethan. Wonder what Brian has to say about it.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you're enjoying this version of Justin. He is certainly something else, and very different too! I have the feeling that both Brian and Justin will have much to say about Ethan's strange serenade.

Thanks so much for commenting. More to come as quickly as I can. :)

Finally Mikey got some brains.  Hopefully he will continue to use them.  Ethan standing nake playing the violin made me laugh so hard.  Can't wait to see how Justin is going to handle him.

Dee Dee

Merry Christmas!

Author's Response:

If anyone ever needed to wise up it was certainly Michael... but his situation didn't give him much of a choice. And now, Ethan. Ugh. They just can't fade quietly into the sunset. LOL. I'm glad you enjoyed the visual of a naked violin playing Ethan. I did have fun writing that part.

Happy Holidays and thanks so much for the Christmas card!

Thank goodness Justin and Brian had finished their first sexy round before Ethan began his "serenade." Their response to Ethan ought to be quite interesting.  Bon voyage Ian!  Have a Merry Christmas Janet!

Author's Response:

I'd say that Ethan must be quite delusional to approach this serenade without being given any sort of encouragement. I doubt that bodes well for him. Fortunately, Brian and Justin did have time to take the edge off. If not, it's hard to say how much worse things would be for Ethan right now!

More to come. Thanks for reading and commenting, and a very Merry Christmas to you as well! :)

I’m very happy that Michael has finally come to his senses. He made the right decision although I don’t think he will ever be back in Brian’s life.

OMG 😮 that scene was so hot BUT the fiddler? REALLY? I did not see that coming! What a way to kill the mood. We finally get rid of Michael, now Ethan. Is nothing easy? Lol

Thank you for a wonderful update. I look forward to the the next whenever that may be. Happy Holidays to you🎄🤶🏻🎅🏻

Author's Response:

It only took 40+ chapters... but FINALLY, Michael got a clue! LOL. No matter how long this story ended up being, and at this point, I think it will finish soon, I can't see Brian and Michael ever returning to their previous relationship. Too much damage has been done. I think even Michael could sense that too, but he was wise in knowing any further acting out against Justin would be impossible to come back from.

Haha. These two only seem to catch short breaks, but since they are on the right track, I think the problem with Ethan will be resolved fairly quickly.

I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, Laura. It is possible I will still update next week on time. I do have a bit written, so we'll see how the next few days go. Thanks for reading and commenting... and thank you for being my 400th review for this story. That is a pinnacle moment for me and I'm quite thrilled! :) Happy Holidays!

Another great update.  Christmas should be your priority.  Will be happy when the next chapter comes. Have yourself a wonderful Christmas & a Happy, Healthy New Year.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it! :) Christmas and getting through the week is certainly the priority, but I might just manage the update for Tuesday. I have started the chapter and have quite a bit written. So, it's a definite possibility. I do hope you have a fabulous holiday season.

As always, thank you so much for your support!

Ummmmmmmmmmm....ho-ly shitballs! That ending???? was NOT expecting that! Sooooooo creepy! thank goodness they were done or let's face it, they would've been done before completion! Yikes!! As always, you throw a twist in there that is totally unexpected. I mean we knoew we'd see him at some point...but not quite like that. LOL!

For Michael's sake, I'm glad that he's chosen to back off. One of the first smart things he's done thus far.

Great chapter!!

Author's Response:

Haha. One of my last tricks to pull out of my bag before this story ends. LOL. I think we knew Ethan would appear again, but probably not quite like that. A naked chinrat. *Shuddering madly* I would imagine if he would have started singing during the actual 'event', he could be beaten senseless with his violin or pushed into the pool with it! Hmmm, what a thought! LOL.

At this point in the story, it was either time to let Michael have a life of his own, or push him to the point of no return. So, here we are. :) I doubt we'll see him again unless it's by reference.

I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, Elaine. Thanks so much for your support. That means so much to me. :)

Michael who finds his mind is surprising but why not, he grows up, finally! A little more and Ethan was going to disturb this early night very very hot! I think he's going to get fired! Take your time for writing and have a Happy Holidays too !

Author's Response:

Everyone grows up in time, even Michael! Haha. Since the story is moving to the end it was either that or make him an unredeemable bad guy. So, this is where it stands. Yes, I can't see Justin keeping him on staff. I think he's tired of his smitten admirers - other than one Mr. Kinney! :)

More to come next week if possible, if not the following. Thanks for your support. It is truly appreciated!

Well this gave us quite a twist. I can't believe that Michael has grown up!  Then Brian and Justin got to the main event only to be startled by screaching cats howling at their window.  OMG, that was Ethan!  Looks like he'll be needing a new job.  LOL.

Author's Response:

A bit of a twist, but I think we knew Ethan would appear at some point, especially since he made such a point of making his crush known to Justin. We'll have to see where that goes. But, I doubt his job security is very strong now! And, Michael finally figured things out. We probably won't see him again. Hopefully!

I’m on the edge of my seat for sure.

Brilliant work x

Author's Response:

Glad you liked the chapter. They keep getting closer. Perhaps something is on the horizon, but I doubt it will be too hard to manage. This story is in the winding down stage now, so it can't be too dramatic - hopefully!

I don’t trust Sean, Justin needs to use every security thing possible as I fear something is gonna happen to him.

 Fab work x

Author's Response:

I definitely think the not-so-straight cop was tempted. Well, who wouldn't be with THIS Justin? LOL.

I do think Sean is about done in this story, so I wouldn't worry too much about him. But, I can certainly see where he would be mistrusted.

I hope all will be ok so we can see them put into action what they talked about doing together as it will be steaming hot.

As always brilliant work x

Author's Response:

Yeah, I do agree. If Michael had anything to do with the fire, that would be the last straw.

As this story is nearing a close, I don't see too much drama befalling them yet, but only time will tell.

Oh lord I wish Brian could have gone with Justin as I fear something bigger than that fire may happen.

Very hot, Justin is in quite the giving mood!  The dominance, in contrast, will be intense for sure. Perhaps enough to remove Brian's jealousy once and for all.

Author's Response:

I think this is how they reach balance. In regards to Brian, Justin is willing to give up his precious control at times. In fact, I think with Brian, he actually enjoys that. I think only time will totally eradicate Brian's jealousy if anything ever does. He needs to be in a place of comfort with these changes in his life. Justin isn't the only one that has to adapt to the new world of caring so deeply for another. :)

I enjoy how relaxed they are with each other here. Brian’s jealously is adorable😍... Brian would most definitely not like me saying he was jealous let alone adorable but hey, gotta call a spade a spade right?!😊

Well now, another hot poolside scene🔥🔥! I’m so glad Justin is willing to give up control now and again. I know this will never be an equal relationship in terms of who the Top is but let’s face it, if he didn’t allow Brian any control the relationship would be over before it had a chance to really begin.

Sorry to hear RL has been hectic lately! Thank you for this update. I’m sad that this ‘verse will be coming to an end soon but they all must end at some point. As always, looking forward to your next update to find out what Justin has in store for Brian. Whatever that may be I’m 110% certain it will not be office appropriate 😍🔥🔥🔥

Author's Response:

I do enjoy a jealous Brian. I love when that comes into play. Brian always has to acknowledge - even if only to himself - that he has deep feelings for Justin in such moments. Always fun to watch. :)

I think this is where they find their balance. Justin does seem to enjoy giving up control, from time to time, at least with Brian. Nothing will ever be equal, but I think a balance is being established.

Hopefully, after the holidays, things will settle down some... but, at this point, I'm not counting on it. LOL. I will definitely miss my time in this particular 'verse, but it's not over quite yet, but certainly getting closer. And, you are probably right - the next chapter might not be office appropriate. Haha.

Wonderful chapter! thank you for updateingespecially considering your hectic week.

Those scenes between B&J are always such a pelasure to read!! :)  They seem to be developing a pretty solid relationship. they are both comfortable where it's leading. Both are open with their feelings towards each other which is always nice to see.

Is Ethan going to be a concern? He's kinda creepy....

I know it will be sad to have this come to an end. It always is in a way. On the other hand, noting can really go on forever as much as we'd like it to. Besides....I wanna find out who's done what and how involved some people are in their nefarious goings on. lol

Author's Response:

Thank you, Elaine. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. :) This time of year is such a busy time. Although, there's never a slow time. Lol. To avoid this predicament next week, I am currently working on the next chapter of this one, instead of my other WIP. So, I'm quite sure it will be ready on time.

I think their relationship is becoming much stronger, and they are happy with what they have together. I don't see the tricking needing to be done on a regular basis either. Perhaps Justin will bottom enough that Brian will adapt. Either way, they do seem to be getting on well.

Is Ethan a concern? Well, he could be, but I guess we'll see. We just met him, but his introduction was a bit creepy. I can't deny that.

As much as I would love to write this forever, it would probably end up being viewed as PWP, if it hasn't already to those not thrilled with this particular premise, but, I do think the time to wrap it up is approaching. Of course, I wouldn't rule out revisiting them at a future time. But, that's a long time away at this point. There are still some things to answer, but I think after we get through this hot night some of that will be worked out.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I truly appreciate that. :)

As much as we hate to admit it RL has to come first in most instances.  Could never be upset with you when you are writing such an amazing story.  I really only get upset with people who just stop a story with no explanation.  I'm not talking for a few days or weeks, but some are from months and months ago.  I know what you mean, the story must end, but it is one I will remember for a long time.  Maybe at some point, an inspiration will come to you to do a follow up to what is happening in their new lives.  Just a thought.

Author's Response:

This is definitely my most chaotic time of year. But, it doesn't ever seem to dissipate completely. Something else always comes up!

Yes, I understand what you mean. There are so many good abandoned stories out there that I wish I could just finish for them - LOL. But, it doesn't work that way. It's hard to say if it's a case of life or if they just lost interest and left the fandom. But, I get that it is frustrating for the reader. I always strive not to be one of those writers.

I'm so glad you've been enjoying this story. This one isn't going to be easy for me to say goodbye to either. Perhaps it's the scheduled posts. It's been a regular part of my life for some time now. But, they all must end. And, I definitely wouldn't rule out checking in with them again at a future date. That's a very intriguing thought. I guess we'll see what happens.

Long time reader, 1st time reviewer!. Thanks for writing another great story. I am loving this, and the change in the characters dynamics you have written. The chapters are incredibly hot and steamy, makes my Wednesday’s here in Oz. Another fantastic chapter, but WTF will Michael ever buy a clue!!...Loving the changing dynamics of Brian & Justin, so Brian has topped again, won’t be the last time either. Such a joy to read a well constructed and hot story. Keep it up and keep the story going. Thank you.

Author's Response:

Well, let me say that I am thrilled that you chose my story to leave a 1st review. That is incredibly flattering to me when there are so many talented writers on this site, as well as on other ones. So, thank you for that! I have really enjoyed writing a story with such inverted roles, much more than I ever thought I would. It's been quite a journey... and it doesn't seem to be over quite yet. Now that was a relaxing and extremely hot, hot, hot lunch break...LOL Just caught up on the last 3 chapters. Sean just couldn't let it go - but at least that situation is sorted. Michael - what scheme is he up to now??? What ever goodies you come up with are sure to backfire on him - looking forward to that... As for the rest - hot, hot, hot - and  sweet - our boys are falling in love. Now back to the RL grindstone of packing boxes and chaos...

Author's Response:

Glad you got caught up. I understand completely. I am so woefully behind on anything I may have been reading. Such is life.

Michael remains a mess, and at this point, it's difficult to see anything or anyone getting through to him. But, we'll have to see how it plays out. I wouldn't be surprised if his big plan is like the previous one and it fails before it even starts... but again, we'll have to wait and see. Haha. I snuck another 'topping' scene in for Brian. I don't think he minds though. :) Now to see how Justin responds in the aftermath. This might really escalate some of his specific hunger. And Michael... 'shakes head.' What will it take to get through to him? Hopefully, that answer is found very soon.

Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Thanks so much for commenting!

Wow that was so hot. Love how Brian convinced Justin to bottom for him. Can't wait to see what Justin has in mind for Brian.

As for Michael get a clue.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you thought so! :) Brian definitely knows how to play the game. Even if this won't ever be 50/50, I doubt it is the last time Justin bottoms for his attentive and determined lover. And yes, Michael needs to get a clue. It appears he'll need some major help in finding that.

h my god what Michael thinks about, I can not wait to see what he has in his twisted mind !! Very good evening for Brian and Justin with bottom Justin for the second time! They are very in love, I hope that the night will be more and more hot !!!

Author's Response:

Michael is a mess and he really needs his head straightened out. We'll have to see what it will take. Brian and Justin are only getting closer, with so much trust growing between them. The rest of the night should be just as heated. We'll have to see next week what Justin has in mind for them next. :)

Michael... I suppose it was too much to hope that he went back to the Pitts and his mommy and moved on with his life sans Brian UGH! We all know that he isn't the most intelligent of men... So how did he find out so quickly that it was Justin who bought his store? Now he's out for revenge, BIG surprise!! Michael is certainly no match for Justin whatsoever so it will be interesting to see how he thinks he can permanently separate him from Brian. Like that will happen lol. Keep fantasizing Michael! I consider myself relatively intelligent but for the life of me I really don't understand why after Brian's  consistent blatant rejection of him why Michael doesn't get a clue? Denial to the nth degree for sure!

So, on to the more pleasurable portion of this chapter... I'm not surprised that Justin agreed to bottom again. He enjoyed it way more than he thought he would and he's deeply in love with Brian. Once again an exceptionally hot 🔥🔥🔥 encounter! I can't wait to read about the rest of the evening next week!

Dare I say that I'm looking forward to finding out Michael's sinister master plan too? 😲 ugh! Anxiously awaiting next Tuesday! Thanks for another great chapter and continuing this tale😊

Author's Response:

Yes, it was probably too much to hope Michael would just go away; although, I doubt his plan is as promising as he thinks it is. Let's not forget how bad his last one went. LOL. I think his discovery would have been easy. Justin wasn't really hiding his companies from the public, one reason why Justin had told Brian right away. I guess for once, at least in regards to this, Michael got a clue and realized something was off with this sale. I'm not sure what else Brian can do to get through to him. We'll have to see.

I think Justin was more than okay with bottoming for Brian again, and he definitely gets a prize for his compliance - in more ways than one! I'm glad you enjoyed this part. They are definitely getting much closer, and the bonds of trust continues to deepen.

More to come next week. Thanks so much for reading and commenting, my friend. I truly appreciate it! :)

We can't wait to see where it leads them next either.  Brian got to get in Justin's ass one more time.  Lucky boy, well they are both lucky.

Dee Dee

Author's Response:

Yeah, I think they both are lucky. Even though it won't ever be 50/50, I think Justin is growing so much, and showing more trust in Brian. Hopefully, they become all the stronger as a result.

Michael is in for a lot of hurt I hope.  Brian and Justin will be having a great deal of fun!!!

Author's Response:

Michael is either in for a world of pain, in one way or another, or he needs to wake up like yesterday! We'll see. Yes, I think our boys are on the way to a fun-filled night!

Oh dear....Michael as I figured is up to no good. I guess it was wishful thinking to hope he'd just gone home with his tail between his legs. Too hopful to think he might one day get over his obsession with Brian and attempt at a life of his own. Not sure if he's going to be capable of doing anything to Justin though. Justin is leaps and bounds ahead of Michael in many things, particularly intelligence. Not sure what Michael has up his sleeve, but even if he makes some decent attemps and causes a few ripples, over all, he's going to lose big!

So justin is allowing it once again huh. While it not being a 50/50 relationship, he definitely seems more open to it. It seems that it is a very satisfying relationship as it stands. Very unusual and something I definitely wasn't expecting. I like it though. Makes the level of trusst they have for each other that much more obvious.

Author's Response:

Michael needs to be shaken until whatever is loose inside his tiny brain finds it's way back to order. LOL! Knowing Michael, his plan probably isn't nearly as grand as he perceives it to be, and he'll be lucky to get it off the ground running. His last plan totally blew up in his face! I wouldn't be surprised if this one does as well. In any event, you are too right, our Justin here can handle anything Michael comes at him with. I wouldn't want to get in Justin's face if I were him.

I think Justin could easily concede that Brian didn't have a full night of being allowed to top him since they had fallen asleep shortly after. But, I guess that happens when you work each other over to such a degree - haha. I don't think it was much of a compromise here. Justin is getting an even greater prize as a reward. Hopefully, that will be fun for all! All in all, they are becoming closer and a deeper bond forging between them.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Elaine. I truly appreciate that so much.

Oh it just keeps getting better.  Can't wait until Michael gets what is coming to him.  He is such a miserable, nasty, mean person.  Why would Brian ever want such a piece of garbage?  Great writing.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it! The good thing about plot twists, even if they involve Michael, it delays the story from being finished - LOL. But, it is getting closer to that point. I don't think there's anything Brian could say to Michael that would get the point across better. I guess we'll see what it takes. Thanks for reading and commenting. It is very much appreciated. :)

I am very glad you're enjoying this story. This one hasn't been for everyone, but that's to be expected with such a diverse and extremely dominant Justin. They definitely each have it very bad! More to come on Tuesday. Thanks so much for your comment! :)

Micheal feeling sorry for himself, that’s a shock...right. He had no real idea of what he did does he. I hope Debbie can sort him.

I love one how you write Brian and Justin, they are equals and intense and sexy. It’s a perfect combo. They are so hot together.

Great work x

Author's Response:

Yes, let's hope Debbie can sort Michael out... or is he just too far gone? We'll have to find out.

Brian and Justin have such a unique relationship here. I won't enjoy ending this one when it's time. It's not quite time yet, but with each chapter, we get closer.

Well now.... Brian Kinney went after a man and simply because he missed him! Yet another rule in the Kinney operating manual that has gone out the proverbial window since the advent of the dynamic, hot, and dominant Justin Taylor. Brian is most definitely in love... heels over head actually😍. I'm sure  another part of the reason Brian took off for LA suddenly was his concern over what Justin was walking into after the fire, however;  I'd be willing to bet that the more motivating factor was Sean. Brian trusts Justin but his little green-eyed monster went into overdrive at that point lol.

So, that brief exchange of text messages and phone call was hot! I'm very excited for Brian's arrival😍.

Just when I thought you were going to start wrapping up (not that I want that mind you!) you throw yet another curve ball!  I thought Brian believed Michael, where is this sudden doubt coming from? Inquiring minds want ti know 🤔! Janet, you are definitely keeping me on the edge of my seat with this tale! I can't wait for the next update! Have a great week my friend!

Author's Response:

Haha, yes. Brian is becoming quite the expert on breaking his rules. Justin has him totally out of his orbit. LOL. Undoubtedly, Brian is deeply in love with Justin, and vice versa can be said for Justin as well. I wouldn't rule out some jealousy urging Brian on. He does trust Justin, but Sean, definitely not.

I'm glad you enjoyed their little mobile chat. I had fun writing that part. I gave the idea of wrapping things up much thought, but determined that it isn't time yet, nor am I ready - haha. We still have a big loose end, and that is Michael. There really needs to be more closure there. Regarding Brian's concerns, he does believe Michael is innocent of the actual fire; however, he is still very guarded that Michael is really moving on and not up to any other shenanigans. One way or the other, that question should be answered in the next chapter.

More to come next week. Thank you for reading and commenting, my friend. I appreciate your kind support so much. And, have a great week too, and hopefully with you on the mend. :)

I'm looking forward to this reunion that will be very hot I think! but why is Brian here? Thank you for this very hot chapter and a little frustrating LOL Waiting for next Tuesday! Good week.

Author's Response:

Yes, I think the reunion will be steamy, and maybe with another surprise - haha. I'm not even sure Brian knows why he's in LA. Was he worried about Justin? Missing him? Or could he have simply been jealous of Sean? It's difficult to say with Brian, but I'm sure we'll find out. More to come next Tuesday. I am hoping the next chapter will help with the frustration here. :)

Wow, that was fantastic. I can't wait to see how Justin takes care of Brian.

As for Brian and his fears I don't think Michael was involved with the fire. I will wait and see if I was right.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it! I think the heat scale is about to tip again! :)

I think Brian is simply anxious about Michael in general, but I don't think he believes he had anything to do with the fire. I guess we'll see.

Hi there! Don't be sorry. I completely understand the hazards of RL. I constantly find myself falling behind on so many things. It's really hard to keep your head above water at times!

The idea of Brian going to LA after only 1 day apart is rather romantic. Even if it's a mix of missing him and his unease about what happened, both are romantic reasons imo.

Brian's protective side is as stromg as Justin's. Hopefully Justin remembers that. :) I have to agree with B tho about michael, or if not him, someone. Brian seems to have good instincts.

Very glad actually that there's no end yet. Am thoroughly enjoying this. I always anticipate tuesdays now. Something to look forward to. There are still too many things to tie up.

Author's Response:

I suppose this unexpected act does display a bit of romanticism on Brian's part. It is quite a departure for him, most especially when he has such a heavy workload. And, I'm sure Justin will know exactly how to best take advantage of this opportunity. Haha.

Regarding Michael, I do think Brian's instincts are on par, and that Michael isn't involved in the fire. However, that doesn't mean he isn't up to anything else...

I'm glad you enjoy these Tuesday updates. I always make sure I have them even if my other WIP gets pushed aside for a bit. This one has been in the works longer so I try to keep it on schedule. If nothing else, Michael's part in the story isn't resolved. That will need to happen before anything else can be wrapped up. We're getting there, but clearly, it's not over yet!

Thank you for reading, and your support, Elaine. It is appreciated more than I can say. :)

Brian is right to be uneasy about Michael.  But I think he'll have other things on his mind with his reunion with his blond.

Author's Response:

Yes, I do agree. Although it does seem that Michael had no prior knowledge of the fire, it does stand to reason that he could be up to other devious things. I'm sure we'll discover if that's the case in time. For now, though, I doubt either of them will worry much about him.

I love this story.  As to if it should end soon, I am torn.  While I really want to see Brian & Justin have a happy ending, I will miss them so much.  I get attached to the characters and the situations they are in in stories that I read.  Do I think Michael is innocent, absolutely not.  I, also, enjoy Michael getting what he deserves which is definitely not Brian.  GREAT WRITING

Author's Response:

I'm so glad to hear you continue to be enthused about this story. I can't begin to say how much I love writing it! I am also torn about the ending point; although, I do see plot points that could extend a bit more, without it being an unnecessary delay to the conclusion. For example, the Michael storyline. That is clearly not resolved in any way. In the end, as in all of my stories, Brian and Justin will be together, but how they get there and under what circumstances is still working itself out. Hopefully, though, you will be pleased with how it all ends up. :)

Thanks for reading and commenting. There is certainly much more to come yet.

Well done Justin.  He is truely in love with Brian and could pass on Sean's advances, although how hard it really was.  Literally!

Dee Dee

Author's Response:

I am sure it wasn't easy for Justin to resist. He has so much history with Sean, which is a big reason why he needs to be taboo for our hungry blond. Lol. Love has definitely soared among our boys here. :)

More to come sometime today. Thanks for commenting, Dee Dee!

Interesting interaction between Justin and the detective! I don't think the detective is convinced the fire was an accident but obviously with lack of evidence they can do nothing other than close the case. I still have that nagging feeling that it wasn't an accident. And I also get the feeling this isn't the last we've seen of this sort of attractive detective!

Justin's house is beautiful! Thank you for the visual.

Sean still didn't get it! I still think he played a part in the accidental fire just to get Justin back to LA and away from Brian with the hopes to seduce him again. Can't blame him for trying lol but I'm just so glad Justin didn't succumb to his advances. Brian would have great difficulty forgiving that. I hope this is the last we see of Sean.

Brian and Justin are just way too hot together! I can hardly wait for that phone call!!

Looking forward to the next update!

Author's Response:

I guess we'll have to see if this particular detective appears again. It's probably not impossible, but more depending on how much longer the LA trip plays out, and the story itself. It could easily be wrapped up at any time, as I've previously suggested, but at the moment, I am still on the fence in regards to that. It's never easy, but I'm finding it even more difficult this time. And, I would agree. I don't think the detective quite believes it was an accident but has nothing to substantiate that theory.

I'm glad you like Justin's home. :) I searched a bit for that visual. I wanted something grand that would reflect the man he is in this world, but not something massively over the top either.

At this point, I'm not sure Sean contributed to the fire; however, I think he is cunning and tried to use it to his advantage. But, we see that didn't work. Justin is very strong, and even more committed to Brian. Even though he is free to trick, doing so with Sean crosses a line. He certainly acknowledges and respects that.

The next chapter will come tomorrow, even though it was a chaotic holiday week. As always, thank you for reading and your support. It is appreciated more than I can say. :)

Thank you for writing this x

Hi Vicki. Not to worry. It's always good to hear from you. I'm not sure if this is the chapter you left off on or just where you placed your review. Well that didn't go as badly as I had feared. The fires appears to have been an unfortunate accident...(still wondering, but....) and Sean seems to have finally gotten the message. Can't blame the guy for trying one last time, but he wasn't an ass about it.

Ethan....well he's another story. Not sure what he's up to but I'm sure nothing good. Does he just have the hots for Justin or is he fixated?

Great chapter. Basically one where I could give a sigh of relief for the most part.

The part about the detective was kinda funny. Definitely shows Justin's power. The idea of the flushed detective was amusing.

Author's Response:

I know I probably had everyone in a panic over this fire. Did the investigators make the right call, or what they had to do with no evidence pointing to arson? I guess that will depend on how much more my muse decides to commit to this story. As I have said, I'm not in any hurry to wrap up this story, but I don't want to overdo it either. So, we'll have to see.

I thought the arrival of Ethan this late in the story might be alarming - LOL. I'm sure Justin can handle any unwanted advances, such as he did here, but will we have more of those? The part with the detective came to me as sort of an afterthought. I got to thinking that we hadn't really seen too much of Justin exerting his power over others. Seeing him action makes it easier to understand how the great God Kinney fell so hard. LOL.

More to come next week. Thanks so much for commenting, Elaine. It is much appreciated!

I really like this chapter! Justin is very sure who he is and what he wants! Sean gives him the key without Justin asking him, bravo. Really the fire is an accident? Dare I say I'm a little frustrated? Thank you very much for this update, I can not wait for the evening call between B and J it should be hot !!!!

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked the chapter! Yes, Justin is oozing with self-confidence, as always in this 'verse. I think Sean knew his hopes were unrealistic, but still, he had to try. I guess we'll see if the investigators made a hasty decision or not. Let's hope not. Things should heat up between our boys very soon. :)

Well Sean seemed mature enough in having obtained his own place and leaving the house key without being asked.  Let's hope he didn't make a copy of the key.  Maybe Justin will change the locks anyway.  So the fire was an accident, what a coincidence! Reunion is just a few days away, yay.

Author's Response:

I think Sean had seen the proverbial writing on the wall when he returned to LA, but in regards to Justin here, I guess you can't blame a guy for trying. :) I guess time will tell if the investigators got this right. But without any evidence, they were left with no choice than to call it negligence. The reunion is definitely around the corner.

I'm pleased that Justin didn't give in to temptation.  I worry that closing the case on the fire is the wrong thing to do.

Author's Response:

Justin has come a long way in this story. His promise to Brian meant something to him, and no way could Sean ever be considered a casual trick. I guess we'll see if the investigators made the right decision regarding the fire. Probably depends on how much longer my muse things this story should go - haha.

I do apologize for being so lax in reviewing - RL major house renovations - probably don't have to say anymore...LOL  Finally though I've caught up - on 7 chapters... In one way it's better because as a reader it flows from emotion to emotion and those chapters were mostly, hot, hot, hot. I really enjoyed seeing a softer, more gentle and understanding Brian - Justin has certainly met his match. Like Brian, the fire and Sean in LA has me concerned - what is going on there? Was it Michael's original plans coming to fruition or is Sean making plans trying to get Justin back?? Or something else entirely??? Can't wait to find out. Plus Brian being tied down? more hotness to come...LOL

Author's Response:

There is absolutely no reason to apologize. I am a prime example of how RL can create one set back after another. I totally get it! :)

I'm glad you enjoyed catching up. There has been so much sex in this story, I'm not sure how much more is actually credible, or if I should just wrap it up soon. I don't want it to be remembered as a PWP that went on forever. Hopefully, that won't be the case here. Although, we know we have one certain scene coming up for them. Justin isn't going to forget Brian's agreement to that! LOL.

Regarding the fire, it could be a simple explanation, but either way, we'll know so much more in the next chapter. And, whether Sean did anything illegal or not, I think his story with Justin needed a bit more closure than it already had... so, I think we'll get that if nothing else.

More to come on Tuesday. Thanks so much for commenting!

Reviewer: LauraB725 (Signed) · Date: November 17, 2017 02:23 AM · On: Questions. Answers. And, even more Questions...

Brian is a bit off his game here. Certainly not something he is accustomed to being particularly in a professional capacity. Very disturbing and unsettling for him indeed.

I found Brian’s conversation with Michael interesting. Just because Michael says he didn’t do something doesn’t necessarily make it so. I think Brian believed him relatively quickly which I found a bit odd. But, all that being said, I am convinced that Michael had no knowledge of what happened to Justin’s studio. Oddly enough I think he just wants to move on even without Brian. I think this effectively closed the book on the Brian and Mikey show once and for all. At least in this verse.

I continue to believe this was a ploy by Sean to get Justin’s attention focused back on him. I’m fairly certain that Brian is in my camp on this too lol. Of course, I have been wrong before and could very well be now but this is what my gut is screaming at me lol. I know we are going to find out soon enough. I just hope that Justin is able to resolve this matter quickly and close the book on Sean so that he and Brian can proceed with their lives stalker free lol.

Looking forward to your next update!

Author's Response:

Yes, Brian is extremely off of his game at the moment, but hopefully, time will balance that out for him. His business world has always been his domain, and he excels in it. Distractions there are not commonplace.

Brian did believe Michael quickly, and I think that's for two reasons - one, he didn't want to think Michael was capable of this after all that had happened, but more than that, I think he knows him, and heard something more in his voice and not the words he said that pointed toward his innocence. As the reader, I think we should have believed Michael merely from his inner thoughts, and by seeing that his shock seemed genuine. I do think Michael has decided he just wants to piece his life together, maybe being home gave him a wake-up call, or perhaps Debbie has smacked him upside the head already - LOL. I think he will always yearn for at the very least Brian's friendship, but I'm not sure they could ever go back from what has happened.

If nothing else, I think the Sean/Justin relationship needed to be tied up more neatly. Perhaps this will lead to that. Whether he committed this crime or not will be revealed in the next chapter. Let's hope everything wraps up quickly in LA, and our boys can be in the same place again. Once this is resolved, I think a bright and solid future could be ahead of them. Thanks as always for your support, Laura. I truly appreciate that so much.

At least in this incident, Mikey does appear to be innocent. Although, we know Michael rarely has good intentions. I think Justin will be fine, and probably misses his favorite ad man more than anything else. :)

While I read this yesterday, but had little to no time to review.

I guess now we have to wait to find out who's behind the fire. For some reason I tend to believe Micheal as well. Not sure why. I don't think he'd be able to pull it off in all honesty. I have been wrong before though so who knows. Perhaps he was behind it in a fashion, but had no idea about the fire...how any destruction of Justin's life was carried out etc. Is it Sean? Is he capable? We don't know wenough about him, which makes him a natural suspect. As Justin said once "It's a mystery". Whoever is behind it though is in for a world of repercussions! Justin's influence as well as Brian's have a long reach, and this person(s) will be up the creek without a paddle!

Brian jealous? Insecure?? Hmmmmmm. He's definitely stepping into unknown territory that's for sure. Neither he nor Justin have had any experience in relationships, but they both know deep down that they can each be trusted. It's just those around them that are questionable.

The intrigue is mounting. Yet another week to wait.....*sigh*. so worth it though!!!

Cheers, and thank you!!

Author's Response:

I think I have probably confounded all of my readers with the lack of drama in the incident so far; especially, Michael appearing to be innocent. Brian knows him better than anyone, so if he is so certain, I think there's a very good chance that Michael is telling the truth - this time. I wonder if everyone will be disappointed if there isn't any major drama involved with the fire, largely due to the fact that I'm writing this, and it's probably expected. Lol. I guess we'll find out in the next chapter. The answers will be there.

And regarding Sean, I don't think we ever had a proper wrap-up of his story. Perhaps Justin's return to LA will provoke that. Brian does seem both jealous and insecure; I think that has him far out of his comfort zone. Question is, how we he ultimately handle that? I guess we'll have to wait and see about that too. :)

Glad you enjoyed the chapter, Elaine. The next one will should answer a few questions. Thanks for commenting! More to come next week.

I think we are going to find more is goi g on than Brians jealousy of Sean.

Author's Response:

That definitely could be, or Brian is just a bit off of his game with this jealousy as his new companion. We know he's not used to that. Answers should be coming in the next chapter. :)

Just because Michael says he didn't do it doesn't make it true.  Hopefully he'll do something stupid.

Author's Response:

That's very true... but for once, Michael just might be telling the truth. With any luck, we won't see too much more of him for the duration of this story. :)

Thanks so much for commenting! The next chapter should provide the answers.

Hmmmm. Are Brian's concerns enough to get him on a plane to LA or will he stay and wait and see?  If he were to go, how would Justin respond?

Author's Response:

That's a very good question. I guess we'll have to see. I can see a couple of things holding Brian back from that. One, I think he would be afraid this more controlling Justin wouldn't like it (although, I think Justin would love to him there for other reasons - haha), and also, I think Brian is a bit jealous of Sean. No. I think a lot! Lol. All questions will start being answered and some more resolutions as well.

Thanks for reading and commenting! :)

Well you have me wondering again, who did it.  I really like this Brian and Justin.  Brian accepting Justin as the ultimate top in their relationship is very telling as to what he wants and needs.  He is in love.  Now Who Did It!

Dee Dee

Author's Response:

I think for Brian's sake it's good that Michael wasn't involved. Despite how everything fell apart between them, I think part of him still sees his young friend so many years ago. I'm glad you like our boys here. It's certainly a different kind of world, and it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm having fun exploring with them here. We will learn what happened to Justin's studio in the next chapter.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Dee Dee. I truly appreciate that! :)

Is Michael really innocent ??? i hope Justin quickly find what happened and go back to Brian; I love Brian jealous, great chapter waiting for next Tuesday

Author's Response:

It does appear that Michael is innocent, at least of this. It's hard to fathom after what he previously tried to do to Justin. Brian is certainly jealous. The longer Justin is gone, the more that should be the case... but hopefully, he isn't gone for too long. :)

Thanks for reading and commenting. I do appreciate that so much!

And, the plot thickens.  We all "know" that Michael is just not so innocent.  And, it is time for Sean to fall off a California cliff !!!!! It is a great story and ending it will be hard since I am once again sitting on the edge of my seat waiting, waiting, waiting LOL  Have I told you I speed read and am not a patient reader ?????  Oh well, another of my secrets divulged. Have a wonderful day and week.

Author's Response:

Yes, the plot does thicken! We have to get these secondary characters sorted out before we can even think of moving towards an eventual end. I am not anxious to do that, but I am realistic, it has to happen. For sure, Michael isn't innocent, except he appears to be regarding this particular act. I don't think he will ever accept Justin though. It's best that he moved away. Lol. The fire questions should be resolved in the next chapter, with Justin hopefully not in LA for too long. But, we'll just have to see.

Thanks for reading and commenting. More to come next week. :)

Wow I really hope Michael is not involved with the fire. I am glad Brian and Justin came to an understanding in their relationship.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response:

I have a feeling we'll learn the answer very quickly. Perhaps an answer that leads to even more drama. We'll see. It does seem that Brian and Justin are happy with the choices they've made. Hopefully, Justin can return soon.

More to come. Thanks for commenting! :)

Hi Janet 🙂
I got a chuckle out of Brian's OCD tendencies. Their easy banter in the beginning was quite -dare I say- cute and oh-so coupley. The Brian of old certainly would not like that!

I'm so glad they got "the talk" out of the way and it went rather well in my opinion. It's great that they are on the same page and agreeable to some sort of compromise. Experiencing a trick (or several) together (at least I think that's where they're going)will take the edge off their relationship in the bedroom not being 50/50. Because as we all well know that while Justin may bottom now and then it's definitely not going to be a regular occurrence. However, Brian does have needs that must be met and it's wonderful that Justin recognizes that.

Its so fascinating to see the role reversal in this tale. I must admit that up until this chapter I thought that once Justin bottomed they would slip into the roles in which we are accustomed to seeing. Of course now i realize that would make no sense considering Justin being far more dominant up until this point. It wouldn't be realistic that he would change overnight, literally. I can honestly say I'm not the least bit disappointed!

I have really enjoyed Brian and Justin communicating and :GASP: being open and honest with each other! They have a promising future ahead of them assuming this continues, as I'm confident it will!

So, someone decided to attack Justin afterall. I'm not sure Michael did this or if the man he hired went ahead with it. Blackmailing someone who may not have the means to pay you doesn't make sense to me. But I suppose anything is possible.

I can't help but wonder if this is some ploy by Sean to get Justin back to LA, and away from Brian. I find it hard to believe it was a coincidence that only he and a photographer were in the building but only suffered smoke inhalation when the place itself was gutted. I think Brian’s uneasiness about Sean is warranted. I know he really hasn’t given me any reason to think he’s psycho, I do believe he’s a bit obsessed with Justin and it’s possible he may have snapped when Justin dumped him. I can't wait to find out who the culprit is and how Justin will handle the situation.

Speaking of can't wait... umm I'm looking forward to Brian being bound and completely at Justin's mercy! Most definitely something to look forward to! I hope he wraps up this mess in LA soon!!!

I'm elated that there is really no end in site to this story yet. Looking forward to seeing where you take us with it!

Author's Response:

I think it was just a matter of time for Justin to observe Brian's OOC tendencies. That should make life interesting. Lol.

I do think their talk went well, and that they are both comfortable with what lies ahead. The future is never definite, they could always change things up... but, in this particular 'verse, I think this is a good balance for them. Quite obviously, Justin will remain a 'top' predominantly. Anything else just wouldn't be credible with how he has been throughout this story. But, for sure, I know there will be times that he will want to let Brian take control. Even in those cases, though, I'm sure Justin will be topping from the bottom. LOL.

Naughty Brian agreeing to Justin's fantasy when they couldn't act on it, but I am quite sure Justin will hold Brian to that. I think it will be something for both of them to look forward to.

There are certainly a few possibilities of what happened to Justin's photo studio, and I'm sure he'll get to the bottom of it. I would hate to be the man that caused this disaster! Without a doubt, I wasn't ready to let go of this story yet. Even without adding this new curve, there were still a few things I could have added to yet. So, without a doubt, this story will be here for a while yet. :)

Thank you for reading and your wonderful support. I truly appreciate that so much!! :)

"The Client" lives on!!! Hi Janet, thank you for continuing this great story. I enjoyed how Brian and Justin expressed their feelings, understood one another, and were in total agreement going forward.  It would be great to see them living together, although I don't know if Justin could keep those cups and drinking glasses all in a row.  Poor Brian immediately feeling the pangs of jealousy when Sean is mentioned.  I hope Justin gets full satisfaction in punishing whoever torched his photography studio.

Author's Response:

Yes, it does! Clearly, I wasn't nearly ready to say goodbye to this world quite yet. The recent developments just adds more to keep it going! I'm very glad you enjoyed their talk. I know there are a bit of mixed opinions with the readers about what they have decided going forward, but in this particular 'verse, I really see no other way. I wouldn't be surprised if they are living together at some point, and those cups could be a struggle for Justin. I did enjoy writing that part! LOL. I am quite sure if arson was the cause of the fire, Justin will be relentless until he sees the perpetrator punished.

Thanks for reading and commenting. It's very much appreciated! :)

I was wondering if Michael's plot had gotten further.  Now we know.  But how to prove it?  That will be the interesting part and I'll look forward to seeing how you do it.

Author's Response:

Michael's involvement or not is still to be determined. But, I wouldn't rule out the possibility. It's good that Brian and Justin are thinking clearly. I'm sure they will figure it out. More to come. As always, thank you so much for your support! :)
