This was painful as it is were we learn the full extent of Michael theivery and how badly Brian has been hurt by it. That this was going on from the time Brian championed his friendship with the little sneak was conscionable. That Michael doesn't think of it as the crime it is means he's mentally unstable. That his mother defends him shows she never really cared for Brian. It was wonderful to see cops showing up and both Ted and Michael getting what they deserve. Melanie stepped up and refused to represent either of them. Michael finally let everyone know what it was he said all those years ago when Brian repeated his actions. Go Brian!
PS - there seems to be something wacky with the coding in this chapter that makes it harder to read.

Hi again. More betrayals, more lies. I’m so sorry for Brian and for what he has to endure.
I agree with Justin – I’m also so curious about Erin :-) In the USA you wear your wedding ring on the left side, doesn’t you? So, Brian hasn’t just a son with Erin but was also married? Or was it more a symbolic thing? Can’t believe this! So, he wasn’t always gay? It sounds as if he was deep in love with Erin. What happened? I’m soooo curious!
It’s so pathetic how Debbie still finds some cheap excuses for Michael’s behavior at first. And I haven’t got a word for it, it’s more than pathetic how Michael behaves. I have to repeat myself, he needs professional help! Urgently! The stories Shane are telling. It’s so painful. And then this sad top, to wish Justin would have died. What a crazy and dangerous insane!
The beautiful thing in this chapter is the way Justin’s able to comfort Brian, to stand up for him and the way they act together, comforting each other. In my opinion Shane only has a point to one side of the story – it’s not only Brian who is completely open to Justin. Justin also shows his deep feelings for Brian in such a totally open and honest way. I really like how they are both able to calm each other in such important situations. The deep bond they share is so obvious and beautiful.
Such an emotional chapter. Unbelievable. Love your story more and more. Thanks for sharing! a.
