Here what I wrote on FB:

I LOVED it. One of the few authors that can make Brian all softy and still "Brian". The characters were perfectly developed and, my personal pleasure, Michael had what deserved. The atmospheres were magic and the passion soooo hot and never gross! I still want to know about Lindsey, about the developing relation between Justin and Gus, the reaction of the Sultan's people to his Damat... I'll wait through your hiatus, dreaming about this fierce Sultan and new adventures, but I'm sure someone with this gift can't stop to do this. Take some space but then come back: too much people is waiting for you!!!

Author's Response:

Hello Ersilia,

First of all, I don't remember reading any of this on Facebook. So, I'm really glad to see you here. :)

I am so glad you loved not only this sequel, but the combination of the two stories as well. This series had my heart and soul for so long. I think after I finished the 'Captivated' series, I was just compelled to return Brian and Justin to such a world. IMO, Brian fits into such a role so well. I kind of did leave many avenues open here in the case I did want to revisit this world. There are many points that could be explored. For now, I find this story at an end, but I certainly can't predict the future.

So many things for me to consider during my hiatus... hopefully it's just a short respite. The muse is alive and well in my mind. How I often wish I could shut it down! LOL. Thank you for your kind words of support. I appreciate that more than I can say. Once again, I'm so glad you enjoyed this story. I was thrilled to write it and have it so beloved.

Oh Janet, say it isn't so the end?  Just beautiful.  This is one of my favorites of yours. Please let us visit with them again in the future.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Dee Dee. I'm so glad you liked how this ended up... and enjoyed the entire story. That means a lot to me to know. I will definitely miss my time spent in this 'verse, but never rule out a return trip. Only time will tell.

With the lead up to Christmas, New Year and birthdays all happening at much the same time I am so far with my reading I had 4 chapters to read. I thoroughly enjoy everyone and like you are sorry to see the end of the universe. Wonderful story.

Author's Response:

I understand all about the rush of the holidays. With home and work thrown in with it, I can say this has been an extremely chaotic holiday season. I'm glad to return to some normalcy. I am so glad you enjoyed this story, along with the ending. I have truly loved spending my time in this 'verse.

Thanks so much for commenting! :)

Hi, Janet!  Well, you already know how much I love this story. :)  And I adore how Brian can act one way in public, and be so different behind closed doors with the man he loves. :)

I do hope one day that you will revisit them. I would love to see how Justin fares in his new role, and how he has trouble adjusting to his new 'power.'  We saw a few glimpses of what difficulty it could have in that regard, but I would like to one day see an elaboration of that, along with the possible objections from other rulers, and security issues (hint, hint).

But I know you have other stories to work on, so I will have to be content with this for now.  Will miss it. Thank you for posting this on here!  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hello, Kim! Thank you... and I am so glad you enjoyed this story. As I have said in the past, this one was a definite labor of love for me. I will miss my time spent with them here.

Very good points for a future story. We'll have to see what happens. I am not adverse to returning to this 'verse by any means. After a break, and some other projects finished, I will give it some more thought.

As always, thank you for reading and your support. It is truly appreciated! :)

Even if I'm sad that it's the end I really liked the last chapter, it was so sweet. Brian and Justin are clearly awaiting a bright future together. Thank you for this incredible story! :)

Author's Response:

I am sad saying goodbye as well, but it's been a fun and good journey for me. Gradually, the Sultan evolved in this story, and they are even closer than the end of the first part. Thanks so much for reading and commenting. I appreciate that so much! :)

Author's Response:

Thank you, Laura! I'm glad you liked the ending. I am sad it had to end too, but I feel wonderful in this little glimpse of the love and life we see for them at the end. They are truly in a good and solid place now. Thanks so much for commenting! :)

Marvellous! Beautiful and sweet finale. Sad that's over. I loved.

You could write more about this kind or medieval king & prince kind. It would be very interesting.

Thank you for writing.

Hugs Janet.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the story and the conclusion. I will miss my time writing it. I have been taking this journey for such a long time now.

I do love writing this kind of premise, which I guess is apparent after spending so long writing 'Captivated' and the sequel... then this completely different Sultan series.

Thank you for reading and commenting. I do appreciate that so much. *Hugss* Janet

I'm glad you decided to break the ending into two chapters. Getting Michael's demise out of the way before moving on to happier things and the future. Michael got what he earned. His ending was more merciful than he probably deserved. Good riddance. I'm glad Ben is moving on, too. I hope that you decide to take up this universe once again after your hiatus. Married life has so many possibilities. And, now that you have alerted us to the need for high security around Justin, well, it seems as though there could be many story ideas in that. I've enjoyed this story immensely. Although I hate to see it end, I am looking forward to seeing how you wrap it up. Thanks!

Author's Response:

I did debate on rolling everything into one long chapter, but decided against it. I didn't want the happily ever after combined with the execution, and the fact that the actual end takes place six months along, would make one chapter having too much going on. I am glad you found Michael's demise something that needed to happen. I know there are Michael supporters that will feel I could have found a way to save him, but in this particular 'verse and will all the crimes he had committed, I just don't find it plausible. And, we did see even up to the end, Michael had no remorse.

You are quite right. There are many possibilities for a future return to this world if the time and desire to do so is present. Right now, after the hiatus, I already have some irons in the fire (so to speak). I doubt I will be finished writing since I am working on some projects behind the scenes. Thank you for reading, and your support through this tumultuous journey. I am working on the final chapter, so it shouldn't be too much longer now.

You handled this situation well capturing Michael's dark and evil characteristics.  You established Brian as a fair and compassionate leader whose responsibilities require him to often put his responsibilities before his private life.  I wonder how much Michael's predictions about threats against Justin's safety will weigh on Brian's mind in the future.

Author's Response:

I didn't want Michael's end to be with a sudden reversal of the lack of remorse he had shown throughout the two stories. That just wouldn't be realistic here. He was evil, and most likely deranged. He truly wrote his own ending. If this story was going on for much longer, I can see how Michael's words would linger in Brian's mind. Once again, another show of Michael's diabolical evil. He wanted to leave Brian with that. The last part should be free of darkness, which I hope to have ready within the next few days. Thanks so much for reading and commenting. It is much appreciated. :)

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: December 20, 2016 02:57 PM · On: Vanquishing A Madman

I'm not sure I like Michael statement that he would die in peace.  There should have been nothing peaceful for someone so evil.  The adventure is not over, merely entering another phase.

Author's Response:

I doubt that Michael really felt that inner peace towards the end as he tried to pretend. Much was probably bravado, and his deep need to always win. Clearly, he lost this war in more ways than one, but he refused to show remorse, even in the bitter end. Brian and Justin have only grown stronger now. Their life together has only begun. :)

Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

Hi, Janet!  As always, I look forward to your updates on this story - and dread when it will end, as I have enjoyed it immensely.  I loved the first part with B and J as Justin woke up, and the tenderness Brian displayed that only Justin can invoke.  And Michael...defiant to the end.  I didn't see any other alternative for him.

That was thoughtful of Brian to do that for Ben.  He needed the brief escape after what he had been through.

I love the complexity of Brian in this story; at times the stern Sultan to the public when he needs to be, but also thoughtful and gentle behind the scenes, especially toward the man he loves.

I will be looking forward to reading the next part, but hating to see it end.  I could *maybe* see a story that shows the Sultan's new husband in peril somehow down the road (hint, hint)....but any time you decide to go back to this 'verse, I will be happy to read it, as you know this type of story of yours has been one of my favorites.

Thank you for all your hard work in entertaining us. It is deeply appreciated. Hope you and your family have a good Christmas.  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hello, Kim.

First of all, thank you for your support of this series - both stories combined. I know you have been right there throughout this adventure. I truly appreciate that.

I do think Brian has truly evolved in this 'verse. He isn't defined only by being the controlling Sultan. He's also a father, and a loving partner... soon to be a husband.

I believe only time would have Ben back with Brian as they once were, but Brian's gestures and constant concern for Ben certainly aid his cause.

Undoubtedly, I have left the door open for possible storylines 'should' I ever decide to revisit this world. For certain, there would be many that would oppose this union, other leaders and/or dictators, or perhaps even some of his own people. Michael making the implications he did, and Brian's own knowledge that enhanced security would be needed was done quite deliberately. I think it's only realistic to drop those hints, but it does leave things wide open in that respect.

The final chapter will move events into the future, which I will begin working on today. I haven't ruled out closing this one before Christmas... but as we know, time is running out for that. Thank you for the Christmas wishes. I do hope you and yours have a joyous holiday season as well.

Thanks so much for commenting. *Janet*

Hi, Janet!  You already know how much I love this 'verse, and especially this dominating, proud, bull-headed Sultan of a man you have created in this story!  A forceful, possessive Brian is a very sexy Brian!

I love how only Justin can express himself so impertinently and get away with it; it simply shows how much Brian does love him, not to mention his proposal of marriage.  To me, that is the ultimate proof of how deeply he loves him - that he is willing to give up his previous lifestyle - the one he has known forever - to capture and keep the heart of the man he loves.

This Brian is a very complex, fascinating one, and I will be sorry to see this story end.  I look forward to the rest of it, however, and hope that one day you will revisit this 'verse.  Thanks for writing this one, and for posting it here on MW.  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hello, Kim! As always, thank you for your support of this 'verse. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate that... nor how much I will miss my part in it. I feel like I've been taking this particular journey - between both stories - forever, and it has become a part of my life. I will miss that. In my free time - such as it is - I am working on the final installment. Could be a long chapter, though.

Justin has never really backed down to this fierce primitive throughout the course of this story. I think Brian admires that, even if he is maddened at times. I can't envision their relationship ever becoming stale or boring. Haha. I think in this story, more than most of my others, Brian has evolved the most. Regarding returning to this 'verse one day, I never say never, even if it isn't planned at this time.

The last part to come as quickly as I can. Thank you for reading and commenting. Again... I appreciate that more than I can say. :) *Janet*

I love it! Thanks for uniting them in this way. I'm glad to see such an affirmation of their love. A very hot chapter, too, by the way...scorching, in fact. I'll be excited to see how you wrap this up! Thanks so much...definitely worth the wait!

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you liked it. I really thought they needed to be on a more equal footing, even if Brian will always be a bit above Justin as the Sultan... but this will be a life that our strong and stubborn Justin will love being a part of. Glad you enjoyed the reunion sex. I really didn't think anything typical would work after everything they experienced, not to mention the separation. The final part coming as soon as I can. Thanks so much for commenting. :)

Well, I wouldn't hunt down the writer to kill her, just to get her to continue this chapter! Yes, you are evil to leave us at this particular juncture. I am happy that Brandon is so understanding of Ben's feelings and even happier that Ben has gotten past Michael. Brandon, as you've drawn him, is far superior to Michael. Never will understand what Ben ever saw in Michael. The Sultan is at his most primal, snatching Justin before he stepped into the shower. Should be a wild ride henceforth. I think almost everyone following this story will be sorry to see it end and to leave this universe. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that you will visit it again in the future. I hope your hiatus is restful; it is such a busy time of year. I wanted to read this as soon as it was posted, but what with work and other responsibilities, I am just getting to it. As always, it is my fervent hope that you will decide to keep writing. You have some loyal followers who really appreciate your stories. Looking forward to the next two chapters. Thanks!

Author's Response:

Haha. I know a very bad ending point... but I am hoping the next chapter - which I have just posted - will make up for that, in more ways than one. :)

I definitely think Ben will be fine. I have the feeling Brandon will personally see to that!

I must confess that I leave this 'verse with very mixed feelings... but I can't go on writing it forever. That's not to say that I completely rule out a return trip. It's just a question of time and what happens post hiatus. I do hope I decide to return as well. I would sorely miss this, and so many people that I have met via this platform..

The last part to come as soon as I can. Thank you for reading, and for such kind support. It means more than I can say.

*Please, please don't stop writing. 😘😊

*Especially about Brian&justin "QAF" 😊

Author's Response:

Hi, Cristina!

Thank you for letting me know you continue to enjoy my stories. I can't tell you how encouraging that is. To spend so much time on them, with a chaotic RL, it just gets extremely disheartening not to hear anything. I will be taking a hiatus after these two stories are finished. I just haven't determined for how long at this point. Hopefully it all works out, and it won't be too long. Only time will tell on that.

It's good to know that Ben and Brandon are doing well.  Somehow I think that Justin will be too tired to even think about Michael and his future demise.  Gus is in the safest place with Ben and Brandon.

Author's Response:

I think everyone on Brian's estate is safe and sound on this night. :) Ben is taking healthy steps to move forward, and hopefully his relationship with Brian will return to its previous state very soon. More to come as quickly as I can. Thanks for commenting!

I'm glad Ben has moved on.  He deserves some happiness.  Brian is all heated up!  What a tease you are!  Hehe!

Hope your hiatus is short and you return to writing in this fandom!  I will miss your stories!

Author's Response:

I agree. It's wonderful that Ben seems to have let go of the past, and isn't filled with guilt about his happiness with Brandon. The two of them deserve a happy ending.

I guess we see what three weeks without sex does to our hot-blooded Sultan! LOL. This was just a prelude for what's to come next. Hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I do appreciate that so much. And yes, I hope it is a short hiatus too. I will miss the writing, and the interaction with some great friends I have made in the process.

Hi, Janet!  Now, that was just plain cruel - ha!  But I read enough to know that Justin's about to go for the ride of his life - so to speak. ;)   I love it when you write Brian the beast coming out, and he's depicted here in droves!  I could just see Justin with that 'deer in the headlights' look you described; both a little nervous about the beast he has unleashed, but with a thrill running through him over what is to come (pardon the pun - LOL!). We should ALL be so lucky.;)

And I liked how you wrote the sceen with Ben and Brandon.  Bittersweet but also hopeful for them.

As you know, this is currently one of my favorites, and I really love this 'verse you've created.  I will miss this when it ends, but hopefully we will visit them again one day (hint, hint).  Thank you for the reliable, consistent updates, and for being such a vital member of this site.  You have provided countless hours of entertainment for more readers than I'm sure you even know.  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hello, Kim! First of all, thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I can't tell you how much I needed that. At the moment I am extremely discouraged, and contemplating how much longer I should do this. During my hiatus I will certainly weigh the pros and cons and determine if my writing time has run its course. I hope it hasn't, but recent responses leads me to wonder if that is how the majority of the readers feel... so only time will tell.

Back to the story... yes, a very bad ending point; although, it wasn't designed out of cruelty. I was anxious to get this updated, and knew my schedule for the upcoming week, so I decided with this ending point, but doing it this way leaves no doubt what will happen next. The night is just beginning.. LOL. I have stated two more chapters, and I am hoping I can hold to that. At the very most, two chapters and an epilogue. Revisting them in the future? Certainly tempting and thought provoking, but for now, I'm not making any future plans outside of the wrap up of this story and 'Through the Viewfinder'.

Thanks so much for reading, commenting, and your support. It is truly appreciated, much more than I can say. :)

Many thanks for this update Janet! I've been anxiously waiting for it and as usual you did not disappoint! Both Brian and Justin can be explosive characters - Brian because he is domineering and over-protective and Justin because he is stubborn and defiant - which makes their heart-to-heart talks so touching and heartwarming. I can't wait until their reunion is solidified in true Brian and Justin fashion😋😍. I know this story is coming to its end and I'm not looking forward to that but I am however looking forward to the end of Michael (I hope!). Can't wait for the next chapter!!

Author's Response:

Your welcome... and thanks so much for the kind words! I am definitely going to miss my time spent in this 'verse, but for certain, that time is getting closer now. I can guarantee one thing - Michael won't evade his punishment in this story. And, I can also say with utmost certainty, Brian and Justin WILL be celebrating their reunion in the manner we all know and love. Next part coming as soon as I can. Thanks for commenting!! :)

So glad to see things progressing so nicely. I think you did a great job with the conversation between B&J throughout the chapter, but especially where Brian was verbalizing his true feelings to Justin. Realistic and did not read OOC to me. I found Brian's reasoning about Michael convincing, too. Will be looking forward to more of their reconciliation. Love the picture! Thanks!

Author's Response:

Things have definitely progressed for them. I'm glad you liked how their conversation went; I really tried to essentially keep Brian himself, yet show this more vulnerable side that only comes out for Justin and Gus. Displaying of a picture of the dogs seemed to be the thing to do to more fully visualize what had Gus so distracted. Clearly, everyone appears to be having a much better day today. :)

More to come with the reconciliation. Thanks so much for commenting!

Hi, Janet!  I was so eagerly waiting for an update to this one, and it didn't disappoint. So glad the two of them talked through their issues. I love the relationship between them in this fic, and how only Justin can control this very proud and strong man.

Now I'm waiting for the reunion that I know you excel at! (hint, hint)  Looking forward to the next part. Love this 'verse! ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hello, Kim! I am so glad you are enjoying this return trip to this 'verse. I think I will have just as hard of a time saying goodbye to them here as I did the first time. But sadly that time is coming.

You are so right. Only Justin can control this dominating man. One could say Justin is the Sultan's Krytonite. Haha.

Undoubtedly you know what part of their reunion is coming up next. They haven't had such an encounter during this entire sequel.. and it has been three weeks, as Brian keeps reminding us! LOL.

Thanks for reading and commenting. Sadly just a couple more chapters to go...

I think this talk took great strides in progressing things along... as will the rest of the night. I doubt Brian can handle too much more - LOL. And without a doubt, Brian did well bringing the dogs. Gus is having a great day too.

I would love to see Justin give Michael a piece of his mind.... Things seem to be heading on the right path for Brian and Justin - good move to ask Justin to go riding with them. As always - looking forward to more.

Author's Response:

I think it would be good for Justin to have that sort of release, but I'm not sure the all controlling Sultan will allow Michael that close to Justin ever again. We shall see. It does seem, though, that on a personal level, things could be moving in the right direction now.

More as soon as I can. Thanks for commenting. :)

Reviewer: Anonymous (Anonymous) · Date: October 26, 2016 12:49 AM · On: A Tumultuous Homecoming

Hard to relate to the level of compassion that Ben feels for Michael. Ben knows about many of the cruel and manipulative things that Michael did to others and, if I am remembering correctly, decided that he could not continue that relationship. Brian was pretty generous to tolerate Ben's attitude and language. I don't think Brian deserved that from Ben. So glad that the doctor visit seems to have set Justin on the road to recovering himself. Now if B&J could learn to communicate a little better, then there might be some real progress. Inviting Justin to accompany him on the riding excursion is a good start. Will be interested to find out if it, indeed, was Michael who altered the photographs. Still enjoying this very much and look forward to the next chapter. Thanks!

Author's Response:

Yes, it is difficult to understand how Ben would feel any sort of compassion for this monster that is his former lover. Yes, Ben had decided to end the relationship in the first story, so it isn't a case of ever wanting him back. I do think Ben loves Brandon, and is in a happy 'healthy' relationship now. I think most of his turmoil was in how Brian handled the situation, in keeping this secret from him. For sure, Brian and Justin need to talk... and I think Brian sees that too. It's amazing how he hasn't pounced on him yet - LOL. It has been weeks of abstinence for Brian, and that is immense in any world, but this one especially.

More to come again as soon as I can. Thanks so much for your comment. :)

Two people are NOT happy that Michael is back.  Ben and Justin.  Gus, on the other hand, is pleased to see his daddy and that is the only thing that saves Brian from Justhin wrath.

Author's Response:

That is for sure. This homecoming got off to a shaky start, but I have a feeling it could get better. Gus is ecstatic to see his daddy, and I think Justin too.

More to come. Thanks for commenting! :)

Justin deserves to face Michael once more before Brian puts him to death.

Brian is so cute with his true concern for Justin.  Their love for each other is evident.

Author's Response:

Yes, I would agree. Justin does deserve that closure. We'll have to see if Brian thinks it's a risk that can be taken safely. One thing's for sure - he will never allow anything to threaten his precious boy. The love they share has truly evolved.

Thanks for commenting. I do appreciate that! :)

Hi, Janet! Thrilled to see a nice, long chapter to this! The pieces seem to be finally falling into place, although I admit I'm glad that Justin hasn't lost his feistiness!  After all, Brian fell in love with the fiery Justin, and their back and forth verbal battles is one of the things I love about this 'verse.'  I had to chuckle over Justin's reaction to Brian being 'lord over everything he surveys' - LOL!  He seems to take perverse pleasure (even if it's unintentional) in getting Brian all riled up.  Only Justin could speak to him in this manner, I'm sure. ;)

Now it seems all that is left is to get rid of the betrayer, and then comes the good stuff (i.e., the smut and make up sex).  And I know you definitely will do that justice.;)

Thanks for posting an update. Have been eagerly waiting for one. ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi, Kim! This chapter was the oddest occurrence for me. As busy as I am these days, I still keep writing and writing. I guess it took on a life of its own. LOL.

Things are certainly coming together now. Not a whole lot more to resolve; although, the end isn't here quite yet, but we are getting very close now.

Yes, sometimes it is difficult to determine if Justin deliberately provokes Brian or not. Despite how out of place such outbursts may be, I think Brian enjoys Justin's more fiery, outspoken behavior. Being that they have yet to have any kind of sex in this sequel, and we are about to be on the thirteenth chapter, I had better make that part memorable - haha.

Thanks for reading and commenting. It is much appreciated. More again as soon as I can. *Janet*

Lovely chapter.  True love seems to be getting through Justin's fog.

Hiya Janet,

Wow! This chapter sure packed a punch. Brian baring his soul to Justin..... shivers down my spine. Looking forward to the next chapters.

I don't often read WIP's now a days but there are four stories out there at the moment that are so addictive I have to read each new chapter. Two of them are yours and that isn't a coïncidence. There are a few authors out in the fanfiction word that write true masterpieces and you, my dear, are defenitely one of them.

Thank you for another wonderful addition to one of my fave stories.

Author's Response:

Hello Soirsa!

This chapter was all about matters of the heart. We ran the gauntlet from Brian's concern for Justin, to the dismay that he couldn't reach him, and to finally professing his love, and that feeling that he was finally connecting to him again. So much progress, yet still a bit to go yet. I have the feeling, though, once Justin is fully back in his right mind, they will get on the right track. They have certainly earned the reunion that is inevitably heading their way.

Thank you so much for such a high accolade. That means the world to me. I do hope I continue to live up to and surpass any expectations. I truly do love writing stories about these two very special characters.

Thanks for reading and your support. I appreciate that so much. *Hugss* Janet

I liked the progression of this chapter. You had me quite worried at the beginning--would Justin ever see the truth? And, the pain that our Sultan was experiencing--very hard to take! And, then a few steps forward and by the end I was feeling hopeful! Justin's realization that he was loved was touching. I liked that passage a lot. You do such a great job with the expression of emotions. This story is a favorite of mine and I will be sorry to see it end. Looking forward to the wrapping up of all the loose ends. I'll hope for a sequel one day. Thanks!

Author's Response:

For sure, this had an angst filled beginning, and the drama isn't quite over yet - primarily regarding the resolution of Michael's part in the story, and Ben being unaware that Brian not only knew Michael was alive, but lied to him as well. They have to deal with that. Thankfully, Ben has Brandon now. Perhaps he won't take it as badly as we might thing, or maybe he will. Only time will tell. I think the last couple of chapters, this one especially, we really got to see Brian's heart. There shouldn't be a doubt to anyone that our Sultan is very much in love with Justin. If nothing else convinces Justin, the fact that Brian has been celibate for over three weeks should be significant. I think he finally believes him, and the part of his mind that is clear, is believing in their love, maybe even more than he did the first time around.

I am so thrilled to know this story is a favorite for you. It's always so hard to predict how sequels will go. I find they are hard to recapture what you loved in the original, so I am very glad I have readers so invested in this one. Saying goodbye to this 'verse won't be any easier for me this time than it was the first time. Thanks for reading and commenting. It is much appreciated. :)

This was a great chapter.  I'm thrilled that Brian told Justin he loved him.  Perhaps Justin is finally seeing how much Brian has changed.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it! Let's hope this particular admission of love sinks in deeper than it did the first time. I have a feeling it will. This time the circumstances are so different. Our Sultan has admittedly fallen for his blond. No other man will do.

Best  chapter yet. I loved the way that Brian showed his true feelings for Justin and both showed their vulnerability. Can't wait till Michael gets what is coming to him. Eagerily awaiting next chapter.

Author's Response:

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I have been anticipating getting to this more emotional part of the story. In their own way each man is vulnerable, even if Brian really only displays that side of himself to very few people. Michael will certainly be facing his judgment soon. More coming as quickly as I can... and RL allows.

As always an exeptional chapter.  Whatever Justin is under is losing it's hold.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm so glad you think so. Yes, I do agree. The drugs have definitely worn off as Justin got some sleep, and once the hypnosis is fully reversed, he should be back to normal.

Happy dancing at 0420 at a new chapter.  Can't wait for our boys to be together properly with Justin clear minded.

Feel sorry for Ben that he has to deal with Michael albeit hopefully briefly.

Looking forward to more.

Author's Response:

I am so glad you were excited for this chapter. Myself, I am thrilled to FINALLY be at this part of the story. Ever since they became estranged, I've yearned for their reunion as well. Next chapter should progress things along some more, with our loose ends beginning to get tied up. Thankfully Ben does have Brandon now, but yes, the news about Michael probably won't be easy for him.

Yay! A new chapter to one of my favorite stories and 'verse.  What a beautiful chapter! I loved the way you described Brian's feelings toward Justin, and how he showed his concern for him.  I'm glad the medication's effects are starting to wear off, and Justin is beginning to understand what happened.

Thanks for the update, Janet!  Will eagerly be waiting for the rest of this story!  Thank you.  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Thank you, Kim. I am so pleased you are enjoying this particular 'verse. Sequels are always risky business, but I am trying to make this one stand on its own. So glad you liked this chapter. This was probably even more emotional from the Sultan's POV than his heartfelt offering in the first story. At this point it appeared that he was finally getting through to Justin, and that the drugs used on him had begun to wane. They definitely have so much to discuss still, but I think they are on the right track.

More of this to come as quickly as I can... but you know how that goes. Thanks for reading and commenting. Your support is much appreciated. *Janet*

Goody! Another update. Poor Teddy will he be spared. I love the fact that Brian loves Justin so much that he hasn't been with another man period. He hasn't been with another man since before he gave up his harem Right? Justin just needs Brian to tell him how much he cares and loves him. He needs validation and to feel secure in Brian'said life. Hope these two start talking soon. Brian isn't going to punish Justin is he. How can he hurt the one he loves so much. Pleeeease another update sooooon.

Author's Response:

I think Brian is so focused on returning home, and getting Justin back in his right mind, that Ted will be spared. Definitely not the best choice for Ted to have a crush on. LOL.

Brian made quite the revelation, even if he did so out of frustration. He hasn't touched anyone other than Justin since he released the harem back in the first story. And, Brian had been away on business for a couple of weeks before the infamous photos and Justin's sudden departure. For Brian, these weeks are a very long time. Hopefully he doesn't have to agonize too much longer. I don't think Brian plans on punishing Justin exactly... but a lesson may be required. The breakdown of trust between them caused Justin to act out and place himself in dangerous situations. No doubt the control freak Sultan will want to address that.

Thanks for reading and commenting. More of this to come as soon as I can.

I need more - so much more...........Those photos still bother me - that's what started this (or did I miss something - lately my brain feels a bit on the fritz) Hopefully the doctor can fix everything that Michael did and the two of them can sort out everything - it's obvious they both love each - as I said - need more, more, more........pretty please....

Author's Response:

Glad you liked it. I know we are at a point when so much is simmering, and we are all anxious to seeing what happens next. Those pictures are troublesome, and what started it all. I am quite sure once Brian has Justin back in his right mind he will address them. Brian was fairly certain Michael had those photos taken. I doubt that Brian is as angered by those as he is in Justin not giving him a chance to explain or listen to any sort of reasoning. They have much to work out.

More of this to come as soon as I can. Thanks so much for commenting! :)

So glad to see another chapter of one of my favorite stories. I know Justin is under the influence of hypnosis and possibly drugs, but telling Brian he will never trust him again--well, that was pretty brutal. And, then to accuse him of lying. Justin really isn't in his right mind. Hope the doctor can help fix this. Poor Ted, lusting after Justin. Ted apparently has a bit of a habit of pushing Brian's boundaries. I remember that in an earlier chapter he almost crossed the line with Brian. I do hope that once Justin has overcome the hypnosis and the drugs are out of his system, that he will communicate with Brian so that he can gain more confidence about his place in Brian's life. Glad that Brian is exhibiting some control and has a plan for repairing their relationship. Look forward to the next update. Thanks!

Author's Response:

Thank you! I am so thrilled to know you are enjoying this so much! It does encourage me to see that. :)

Justin was very harsh here. We'll have to see how his demeanor changes once he is clear of the drugs and hypnosis. Of course, it's good to remember that Justin did flee before he was influenced by either of those factors... so there is still some sort of underlying issue that needs addressed.

I think Ted will survive this. If Brian wasn't so fatigued, and soon to be home, he might have cause for worry.

One thing that I think is significant is that Brian hasn't resorted to his former self to the degree of taking other men. It's been weeks. That IS unheard of for him. Undoubtedly, he has a deep love for Justin. He just needs to find a way to make Justin accept that it's true. At that point, we can have a happily ever after.

Thanks so much for commenting. I do appreciate it. :)

Seems Justin is resolved to the fact that he will be back in Al Duran soon.  I definitely want to see Michael get what's coming to him.

It seems Brian inadvertently let Justin know that he hasn't been with the men in his harem.  And isn't that what Justin ultimately wanted along with being treated as a partner and not a possession.

Author's Response:

Deep down I wonder if Justin ever truly wanted to get away. He is being very docile about his return at the moment. But, maybe he's resigned himself to accept what he 'thinks' Brian is offering. Of course, until this hypnosis and any drug interaction is eradicated, he just isn't in his right mind. At the end of the first story Brian did release the harem, but it seems Justin has never felt secure in his place with Brian, and of being enough for him. Even without Michael's involvement - after the fact - they have issues to resolve. Regarding Michael, he will certainly get what's coming to him.

Thanks for reading and commenting. It's always appreciated. :)

Hi, Janet! So happy to see an update to this! I know the true, dominant Brian will soon be back in force, but it's also good to see some of his vulnerability.  And poor Ted - ha! Hopefully he's learned his lesson.

Thank you for updating one of my favorite stories currently!  Will be looking forward to the next part. ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi, Kim! I was glad to finally update. It feels like it's been awhile, even to me. The next one shouldn't take so long.

Undoubtedly, our fierce predator will return in full force... but as we glimpsed here, there is so much more to him than the territorial, arrogant dictator he portrays himself as to the world. And Ted yes, what is he thinking. Our favorite blond is just too enticing to all, just as Brian surmised.

So glad you are enjoying this story. I am definitely glad I returned to this 'verse again. I missed them when I was away from them. Thanks so much for commenting. Much more to come. :)

Such a shame that Brian can't or won't inform Justin of Michael's duplicity.  Bringing up what started Justin on this journey to leave might help answer any questions for both of them.

Author's Response:

I don't think Brian feels he can confide in Justin about Michael while Justin is still under the influence of the hypnosis/drugs. It would really all be for nothing. Hoping a resolution to that part of the story will be coming soon. Once that is done, I'm sure they will be discussing exactly what happened to cause Justin's departure.

More to come. Thanks for your comment. :)

Hello Janet!

Thank you for updating. Loved it! I'm impatient to find out what will happen. The sap will probably need to move to another country to escape Brian's wrath. Ted is too funny.

Author's Response:

Hello Sorcha! Good to hear from you! I hope your time consuming chore of late is getting better! :)

I'm anxious to see what will happen too - haha! Much of it is plotted out, but little aspects keep writing themselves as I move along. LOL. I'll get there, though. The Sap, it's hard to say. If he's lucky... and perhaps he will be, Brian might be content with burning his club down. At this point, I think the Sultan just wants out of New York, and back home with Justin where he reigns supreme. And Ted... yes, I am having fun with him here. Maybe I should bring him home with them too. What fun. Haha.

I got chills reading this chapter! I can.t wait to see Michael and the Sap get what they deserve. I have to feel sorry for Brian and Justin, there's obviously a lot of insecurity and hurt on both sides and it's seems that it's going to take a lot of work to resolve these issues. As always, I look forward to more!

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked it. Some high emotions in this chapter. Probably much more of that to come. As we move into the part of the story that takes it back to Al Duran, we shouldn't see the Sap... but we will hear of how things go down regarding Brian's order for the club. Michael... well, his fate seems to be sealed as well. Yes, there is much insecurity and now distrust between Brian and Justin. That won't go away overnight. A lot of that could depend on Brian's approach. And, right now, it doesn't look like civilized is in his vocabulary. Some rough times ahead yet.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I will update as soon as I can... however, it will be my other story, and most likely not for another week. I have just started a very hectic/long work week. Such is life once every month for me.

I am still very much enjoying this story even though you are being an evil author leaving us with that ending. Lol please updated Soooooo. I hope when Brian gets Justin back he reconsiders punishing him and he realizes that he cares more then he thought and can't seem to go through with it. As for the Sap, I hope he doesn't have fire insurance so he can't rebuild!

Author's Response:

Glad you're enjoying it! Yes, I know it was a bad ending... and I'm sure the next chapter will be just as nerve wracking. At the very least, though, we will have Brian and Justin face to face once more. They have had so little of that in this story, but from here on out, they should be seeing a great deal of each other.

I can't see Brian backing down from punishment, or what he feels needs to happen next - even regarding Justin. I don't think it's a matter of him not realizing how much he cares, not really. He knows he wouldn't chase him like this if he didn't mean a great deal to him. I think Brian is hurt, angered, and feeling betrayed right now. And... Justin has thrown himself into some dangerous situations. For a man of power, I'm sure that troubles him as well. They have much to work through here. As for the Sap, I agree. Let's hope there isn't an insurance clause that assists him. Brian and Justin will be returning to Al Duran very soon, though. We might not see the slimy Sap again. We'll see.

Thanks so much for commenting. :)

Hi there! Was thrilled to see an update to one of my favorite fics! Our Sultan is back in full primitive mode! Love him😙

You know, sometimes I just want to slap Justin...he seems to jump to conclusions all too quickly instead of taking a step back to think before he acts. I don't like how he didn't give our sexy Sultan the opportunity to explain the pictures. But then he wouldn't have been able to get away quite so easily. Anyway, everything after that of course is Michael's doing. Ugh I really dislike Michael.

I'm excited to see where this story goes from here and I predict alot more angst before it gets any better! Thank you for the update and looking forward to the next!

Author's Response:

Hello! I'm so glad you're enjoying this story. I can't tell you how much fun it is for me to be back in such a primitive Sultan 'verse. I do love writing him like this.

Michael is the cause for so much here, but for sure, he didn't force Justin to leave the island without giving him the benefit of a hearing. Clearly, they have some issues to resolve. At this point, it doesn't look to be an easy fix. Undoubtedly, probably more angst remaining... but at some point that too will end. More to come as soon as I can. Thanks so much for commenting. I do appreciate that so much. :)

The primitive is back indeed and in fine form. I found myself rooting him on. I have no sympathy for the Sap...he deserves whatever he gets. He'll be lucky if all Brian does is destroy his club. I know Justin is under the influence of the despicable Michael's spell, but I have to agree with Brian that none of this would have happened if Justin had given Brian a chance to explain. I'm afraid that Justin is in for it, too. I'll be interested to learn more about the lesson Brian says Justin must learn before they can become equals again. I wonder what Justin will think about that. I expect that lesson will not be that easy for Brian to deliver. Great chapter. Thanks.

Author's Response:

I must confess that I do enjoy writing these moments of primitive savagery. I don't know WHAT that says about me. LOL. Both the Sap and Michael deserve what comes their way. I think on his own home turf, the Sultan wouldn't have allowed the Sap to keep his life. If he has a brain at all... and so far he's used very little of it, he will stay far away from the Sultan and Justin if he wants to keep that life intact.

For sure, Justin's present actions can be mostly excused... but not the ones that led him to this point. He should have given Brian the benefit of the doubt; at the very least, asked pointed questions before making a determination. Those photos probably brought on Justin's insecurities where he doubted how important he is to Brian. Hopefully, before too long he will see that Brian doesn't chase a man to this degree unless he means a great deal to him.

More of this to come as soon as I can. I hope you continue to enjoy this journey. Thanks for your comment! :)

Hi, Janet! So happy to see an update to one of my favorite stories!  You do such a good job of making Gary slimy - ha!  Ugh.  And Sultan Brian is in rare form now, since he knows about the auction.  Ingenious method, BTW, to ensure that he comes out the winner of the 'prize.'  Although I doubt if Justin is going to take too kindly to being controlled.

I'm trying to recall from the first chapter.  I believe Justin initially left due to some compromising photos?  So I don't think Brian has the whole picture here yet, does he?

Anyway, will be eagerly looking forward to the rest of this story in one of favorite 'verses.  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hello, Kim! I'm glad you're still enjoying this one. Our Sultan has indeed gone primitive... but I think he does have good reason. At this point, it's more of a concern of how difficult it will be to snap him out of his savage ways. Right now, it doesn't look to be soon. And no... I'm sure you're right. I doubt Justin will be too thrilled about Brian 'manipulating' the results of the auction. Undoubtedly, he thought to use that for dual purposes - further angering his possessive lover, and causing a distraction for another escape attempt. The latter, very foolish of him. I don't think that would be possible here.

And yes, this all began with the photos. We haven't had confirmation - yet... but Brian suspects Michael of this too. The big problem is Justin leaving without hearing Brian out. Although, in regards to Justin's actions, it appears that the photos are just the symptom of the problem. In his earlier thoughts we had a glimpse of his insecurity about Brian's happiness regarding releasing the harem and him being enough. I wouldn't be surprised if his initial flight had been more about that. So many things to resolve here.

I hope you enjoy how this continues to play out. We have quite a bit to explore yet. Thanks for commenting. I do appreciate the support! *Janet*

Author's Response:

I guess Brian isn't quite that bloodthirsty... but I wouldn't be surprised if he had been tempted.

That's a very good question. I'm doubtful that Brian would allow Justin to spend the night in any man's bed that isn't his own. I'm sure he would have thought of something. Right now he is far from civilized.

This is all Michael's fault.  He was the one who programed Justin.  Hopefully Ted wins the auction and we can dance while Sap's club burns to the ground.

Author's Response:

Much of this is Michael's fault. The only thing that isn't is Justin leaving the island. True, those pictures were damning... but he should have talked to Brian and gave him a chance to explain. I would hate to be Ted if he failed in placing that winning bid. LOL. It looks like the Sap's days as a club owner could be over.

Good that Michael is going to get his just desserts. Glad that Brian realizes that Michael won't "fix" Justin. Did not like to think of Brian bargaining with Michael. I hope Brian gets back before Justin can put himself on auction. I think Sap's greed is going to be his undoing. He definitely needs to be squashed. Looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks!

Author's Response:

I see no comprehensible way that Michael will slip free this time. In this 'verse, I think Michael is so crazed and obsessed that he would take the secret to 'waking' Justin from his spell to his very grave. I'm sure the Sultan realizes that too. I'm sure the auction will be underway when Brian returns... but that's not to say he won't be able to do something. I'd hate to be the one who tried to stop him. Haha. More to come as soon as I can. Oh, boy.  Justin, what are you thinking?  I wouldn't like being considered 'property,' either, but does he realize what sort of jealous beast he may be about to unleash?  Ooh, can't wait - ha!  One of my favorite stories presently, Janet. I do love this portrayal of Brian as a ruler of his own world, thinking he can take what is his, but also being tamed by a slim blond. ;)   Although I doubt if it will be that easy, which is what makes it so interesting!  Will be looking forward to seeing how this plans out.  Thanks for the update.  ~Kim

Author's Response:

It appears that's exactly what Justin isn't doing - thinking! No, I don't think many of us would like being considered property... but I might have to redefine that thought when it comes to THAT man! Haha. Sadly though, Brian has reverted back to that primitive mindset. I'm not sure it's possible to take that completely out of him - realistically. It is who he has always been. We'll have to see if they can get back to a more common, and equal ground. However, I'd say definitely not yet. For now, the priority has to be ridding Justin of this ridiculous fog clouding his mind.

Glad you are enjoying this story, Kim. I just couldn't stay away from this 'verse, and am glad to be back with them here. Thanks for commenting! *Janet*

Sadly Michael's spell seems to be working.  I had hoped that Justin was smarter than that.

Author's Response:

In this case, I don't think Justin had much of a chance. Of course, his bad decisions put him in this situation. Since this seems to be drug induced - if Michael is to be believed, Justin was already doomed. I'm sure Brian will find someone to fix this, once he can get him away from New York, and back home to safety.

More to come. Thanks for commenting. :)

I'm in desperate need to see Michael get exactly want he deserves and after that - or maybe before - Sap. Both are evil creatures. Hopefully Ted will be able to save Justin from himself - and hopefully Brian will be able to help Justin regain his true self.... And then they can sort out the problems that caused Justin to flee in the first place. More please.....

Author's Response:

I think most of us will agree that Michael deserves whatever comes his way. I don't think he will slip through the Sultan's grasp this time... nor will be be lenient - Ben's feelings or not. Sap was on the right track by electing to dismiss Justin... but he was swayed by Justin's words, and his own lust for money, and probably Justin himself. Hopefully that auction can be stopped. I can't imagine the chaos that would ensue should Justin leave for the night with an unknown man. I don't think Brian's patience will allow for that.

The drama of this night isn't over yet... but hopefully they will start to get on the right track soon. Thanks so much for commenting. It is much appreciated! :)

Hello Janet!

Thank you for updating! Loved it! Oh my! Michael is evil! And Justin what on earth is he trying to do? His decision will certainly turn the Sultan in full primitive/possessive mode. And the Sap, what an idiot, he was wise to fire Justin, now he's probably going to be collateral damage. More please.

Author's Response:

Hello Sorcha!

I'm so glad you liked it! Michael is beyond redemption. We saw that in the previous story, it's only become more apparent here. I guess Justin can be excused because of his drug induced hypnosis; although, he is strong enough to know, even if only in the back of his mind, that something isn't quite right. For once, the Sap was doing the right thing. But... he allowed his lust and admiration for Justin, not to mention his immense greed divert him from a wise decision. Each chapter seems to bring the primitive back with a vengeance. At this point, that only seems to intensify.

Thanks for your comment, my friend. *Hugss* Janet

I can’t believe I forgot to ‘favorite’ this story and I missed so many updates to it. I almost decided this sequel was a part of my imagination before I thought of checking your author page :D I’m so glad I did, because this? This is amazing.

It’s sad but also strangely exciting to see Brian going back to how he was, ruthless and domineering. From a reader’s point of view, it’s good because who doesn’t love possessive ‘alpha’ Brian? Well, I know who – Justin. Justin ran away because Brian’s style of life was too much for him, and he definitely won’t enjoy seeing him in a full ‘Sultan’ mode.

I’m confused about Justin’s behavior. Why would he decide to get a job at such a place? It seems his desire to be independent will lead him to big problems. And Gary of all people is a terrible employer, nothing good will come out of it! The one good thing is Brian’s reaction. Oh, how much I enjoyed it! His fury, his jealousy and nervousness. Justin will drive him completely crazy by the end of the month!

Justin seriously underestimates Brian if he thinks he won’t find him. Brian, with his obsession and his connections, won’t have problems tracking him down – it’s making him come back willingly that’s a real problem.

Oh no, not Michael, please. Not again. He didn’t learn a thing! I can’t imagine what will happen to him now, what storm he’s going to cause. His skills are unusual and interesting, though… but dangerous and probably deadly, because he uses them for wrong reasons.

But wow, what a meeting! Brian was so infuriated that I couldn’t imagine what he would do to Justin now that he saw him again. I’m relieved that Michael’s machinations were noticed so early, practically right away, but now what?

Gary is disgusting, but he at least knows that he shouldn’t fuck with Brian – not directly, at least.
Thank you for this exciting and fascinating journey, Janet! I can’t wait for the next chapter, I feel so worked up now!

Author's Response:

Thank you, Katrin for such a extensive and thoughful review. I always look forward to see your thoughts, and feelings of my updates. You put so much work into them, and I truly appreciate that. It is both rewarding and motivating for me as a writer. I can't thank you enough for that.

Deep down, I think Justin always knew this confrontation was imminent; although, he probably thought he'd have a bit more time. To do what, though? Only Justin has the answer to that. His choice of employment was extremely faulty. He has to know the Sultan and how he views things. This job wouldn't be tolerable to him. If not for the distraction of Michael and his machinations, it's hard to say just what Brian would have done in the scope of that meeting. And now, with what Justin has talked Gary into doing... well, I think rocky times are ahead for all of them. Hopefully Brian returns before the auction ends, and he can bring about a solution. But... what will he do? And, is he cool headed enough to manage it? Right now, I think that's less than likely Only time will tell.

Thanks for reading, and all of your comments. I appreciate that more than I can say. *Hugss* Janet

Never give up writting novels about justin and brian .I come to this website just to read your stories.Your stories are masterpieces

Author's Response:

Thank you for the kind words. The support is appreciated, and a motivating factor. I am pleased you enjoy my stories so much. I do intend on taking a break after these last two stories are finished; I haven't taken one the entire time I've been writing Brian/Justin fanfiction. However, after such a show of support, and readers that seem to truly desire more of my work, I will return. In fact, I have a story I will be working on during my hiatus.

Thanks again for your support. :)

Looks like Mikey's in trouble! I almost feel sorry for him (almost!). I have to admit I was expecting Brian to do something horrible to the Sap right there. At least now we know why Justin's acting the way he is. As usual I loved this chapter and look forward to finding out what happens next!

Author's Response:

Yes, I think Mikey's position is very dire, and soon he will know that too. I doubt Brian would have restrained himself with the Sap if not for the news about Michael hypnotizing his Justin. That raised Michael much higher on his to-do list. I have a feeling not a good list to be one. Haha. Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Working on this now, so hopefully not too much longer. Thanks for commenting. :)

Reviewer: Anonymous (Anonymous) · Date: July 26, 2016 12:23 AM · On: Laying Siege

I hope that Justin doesn't try to flee...somewhat surprised that Brian is willing to leave him behind. Then again, he is relying on his watchers and I suppose knows that if Justin were to get away, he would eventually catch up with him. Brian was right on the edge in this chapter, barely able to control himself--that came through clearly. It will be most interesting to see what he has in store for Michael. I do hope that Michael doesn't manage to slip away. I'm glad, too, that Brian is realizing that Michael may well be the one behind those photographs. I hope that Justin figures out that, too. He's been too upset to think clearly. As always, thanks for this. Looking forward to the next update.

Author's Response:

I think even in his befuddled mind Justin has to know that fleeing isn't an option. No one knows better than him all the possible guards and watchers Brian could have brought with him. I doubt Brian felt good about leaving Justin behind, but he saw the necessity of it. Justin should be safe, and well monitored... and Michael is truly his top priority. I'm sure that won't endear Michael to our frustrated Sultan, either. Haha. I did want the primitive in Brian to be felt in this chapter. This is what happens when a man such as himself feels betrayed. Despite the photographs, Justin never gave him a chance to explain... and tossed himself into danger. That won't be easy for Brian to forget... at least, not the Brian/Sultan in this 'verse.

Thanks for your comment. It is greatly appreciated. More to come as soon as I can. :)

Hello Janet!

Thank you for updating! Loved it! I so wanted to see Brian kick Mikey's a***, what an evil man! Brian really was the epitome of patience, he didn't even kill the Sap. More please.

Author's Response:

Hello Sorcha!

As always, so wonderful to hear from you, dear friend. I kind of think Brian might have gotten a bit physical with the Sap if not for realizing what Michael had done to Justin. I definitely wouldn't want to be Michael; although, he deserves everything he gets! More as soon as I can. Thanks so much for commenting. Your support means a great deal to me. *Hugss* Janet

Oh good!  Michael is in for it now!  How deserving he is.  I hope Brian deals harshly with him.

Author's Response:

Oh yes, I think Michael is in for it this time. I doubt even Brian's high regard for Ben will save Michael this time around. We should find out more about that in the next chapter. Thanks for your comment. Things have been very quiet here, so I greatly appreciate the support. :)

I am surprised Brian left Justin there.  He should have taken him with him or had someone take him and hold him in a safe place.  I don't trust Gary or Justin to not do something stupid.  Looking forward to more.  I hope your weekend isn't too busy.

Dee Dee

Author's Response:

I think at this time, Brian is a classic case of being pulled in too many different directions. He probably could have used Ben on this trip... but with Michael's involvement, and tending to Gus back home, I guess it's better he isn't. Brian is probably thinking he won't be gone from the club for long... and he has warned Justin that he is being watched. Of course, Justin is under hypnosis and not caring how much he angers the Sultan. I can see him doing something that Brian would find inappropriate. But... maybe that will be fun. We'll see.

As always, thank you for reading and your support, Dee Dee. It means more than I can tell you. :)

I sooooo want to hurt Michael right now - with all the trouble he's caused he deserves the Sultan's wrath. Can't wait.....

Poor Justin. I hope they can break all the conditioning that Michael has done. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response:

Yes, Michael has been nothing but an irritant in this story. It started in the first one... and has progressed considerably. I don't see him getting away with his trickery much longer.

Hopefully Justin has a quick way back. I'm not sure how many snarky remarks the impatient Sultan can tolerate. Ha!

I've got to say how compelling this chapter is.  Somewhere deep inside Justin must know that things aren't as they seem.

Author's Response:

Glad you enjoyed the chapter. I would have to agree. There has to be a part of Justin that recognizes the feelings in Brian... ones that extend beyond just primal possession. Hopefully it won't take too much effort to get him back to normal.

Thanks for commenting. I truly appreciate your support. :)

Author's Response:

It's probably too soon to see them as back together yet... but at least they are in the same place. They do have a bit more to endure yet. Perhaps it will get easier once Brian gets Justin back on his home turf again. We'll have to see how long that takes. Thanks for commenting. Glad you are enjoying this. :)

So Brian's finally managed to track Sunshine down. Can't wait to find out what happens next. Since you finshed Retributio does this mean you'll update this one soon?

Author's Response:

Yes, Brian has caught up with Justin, but whether it means he gets his way immediately remains to be seen.

I responded to this question in another review, not sure if it was you or not... but, I update as quickly as I can. I don't really set a time schedule - unless I know I have the chapter nearly finished. Yes, this story is the next to be updated... I can't say if it will be today, tomorrow, or the next day. It just depends on how much time I have to work on it. I have a very busy daily routine, and this comes after everything else is done. All that to say, I will update when I can... hopefully it is soon, but I can't say for sure when.

Thanks for your comment.

Just wanted to say that I loved the first in this series and now this sequel is fantastic. It keeps us in suspence. I wanted to review this story for a while but couldn't leave a review on the mobile site due to it not working properly.  Now I can finally get on the main site so here I am. Lol I have read all of your stories and my favorites of those more then once. I hope that one day you can write sequels to some other stories of yours. I would like to see where they would be later on! Can't wait to see what happens next. I hope Brian will be easy on Justin and show his love for him and not punish him in a bad way. Lol

Author's Response:

Thank you! I'm very glad to know you enjoyed the first story, and now the sequel as well. And... it's great you can now access the site again. I know it's been frustrating, and equally as much for us as well. It's always very encouraging to know my stories have been enjoyed. Regarding other sequels, I guess only time will tell. I never rule anything out. However, for now, I am taking a hiatus after these stories are finished... but I have at least one story in the works for when I return. The length of my absence and how many future stories I write will depend on the support shown in the meantime. As long as readers are invested in my work, I will probably continue to write. :) Regarding this story, I don't think we'll see a softer, more loving Brian quite yet. He feels quite betrayed by Justin. But, I'm sure time will resolve that.

I will be gone the entire day and evening on Friday for a family outing, but I hope to have the final chapter of 'Retribution' posted by Saturday evening, Sunday at the latest. Oh I so wish the Sultan had killed Michael - any sort of compassion he had for the man be damned. Someone that evil has got to be dealt with. At least Brian knows what's going on and can help Justin accordingly. What a wicked web to be unravelled. Can't wait......

Author's Response:

I remember back to a few that were upset how I portrayed Michael in the first story. I doubt they are following this continuation. LOL. I think Brian saved him for Ben's sake previously... however, I'd say he won't care about that now. Michael has gone too far. Yes, Brian will know about the mind control. It's just a question of 'if' it's as easily reversed as it was with the others in the last story. Or, has Michael refined his skills. Only time will tell.

More to come. Thanks so much for commenting! :)

Grrr you always (okay almost always) stop at the wrong moment. Don't you understand that it's easier to stop at a boring point. Cliffhangers are no fun for readers. Now I've to beg agian for an update really quick * smiles *.

* hugs *

Author's Response:

Okay, this probably was a cliffhanger. We've waited six chapters to get these two face-to-face again. Sadly, we'll have to wait a bit longer for the fireworks that I think we know will happen. Haha. I don't think I could stop at a boring point. Have I ever done that? I'm thinking probably not. At least, this way, you don't have to backtrack. It's easier to remember where the story left off. I know that probably doesn't help. LOL. I will get back to this one as fast as I can. I hope to update 'Relentless Hunger' tonight, which means I'm halfway back to this one on the list. I know. Still not helping much. *Ducks for cover*

Wow--a lot going on here. I'm a little confused. Michael has hypnotized Justin, right? Yet, he wants Hamin to blow the evil powder in Justin's face, instead of doing it himself? Does Brian know about the hypnosis? I didn't see the hypnosis coming...I thought the only plan Michael had was the powder. Also, is Hamin really no longer under Michael's control? It seems like that is the case, but you can be tricky.
Michael is delusional. 'Nuff said. Both Michael and the Sap need to go bye-bye.
Why is Ted being so sassy? He had better rein it in, or he also may be stepped on.
I think Justin made a mistake in jumping to conclusions about Brian. Now he has to face the music from one very angry and frustrated primitive Sultan.
As always, thanks for all the effort you put into your stories. I'm skipping ahead, but am already wondering if you have plans for another sequel in this 'verse. (Hope so!)

Author's Response:

So many questions. I'll try to answer without giving too much away. We wouldn't want that! Haha.

Regarding the powder, Michael had that plan before he realized he would get to hypnotize Justin. He's probably worried that Justin wouldn't be fully under his hypnosis, and somehow recognize him. He made a point of questioning Justin about his identity, just to be sure. At this point, since Brian is with the Sap, I don't think Brian knows... but since Hamin knows, Brian should know very soon. I can't imagine he has been looking at text alerts while conversing with the Sap. He is more preoccupied now... especially with Justin's sudden and unexpected arrival.

I can't envision Michael sticking around in this story for too much longer. Brian clearly knows everything. It's a shame they are in America; I'm sure in his land, the Sultan would be swift in his punishment. And the Sap should be history as soon as they leave New York. I think Ted has thought better about his brash behavior. He seemed to confident in Brian needing him. I'm sure he could be replaced. For sure, I think Justin made a mistake jumping to conclusions, but I think if that was all it was he would have stayed and fought for his lover. I think Justin is very insecure, and uncertain that he is enough for the Sultan that has long been accustomed to having so many. Brian's rage could cause that to return. We'll see.

Regarding another sequel to this, probably not. I think we'll wrap this up at the end of this one. Of course, I never rule out anything. But... I already have a plot bunny for my next story for after my hiatus, so for now, I'll stick to that. Thanks for reading and the indepth comment. I really enjoy that. :)

Michael sure is an odious man. He deserves whatever he gets.  Now Justin on the other hand does not deserve to be mistreated by our Sultan.  I'm hoping Brian mellows somewhat.

Author's Response:

Yes, Michael has regressed even more deeply than he was in the first story. Jealousy and obsession can be very ugly. For sure, Justin doesn't deserve any mistreatment... but our Sultan is very angry, and they have been separated for some time now. Not just the time of Justin's departure, but Brian was on business for weeks preceding that time. In time, Brian will probably chill... but for now, I think they have a journey ahead. Hopefully there will be some good with the bad. :)

Author's Response:

Hello Terri,

I'm so glad you liked it. Obviously, I love writing a controlling, primitive/predatory Brian. I find him immensely hot too, and I think he slips into such roles effortlessly. The fix in this one won't be immediate, but we could have the largest part of the Michael nightmare resolved quickly. Can't believe how sassy Ted is being to the Sultan. What is with the inattentive bodyguard? And Michael?? Squash him like a bug now, please. It is bad enough that his machinations have brought about this whole mess in the first place (at least, I assume it was Michael--why is he alive??). I hope the wind changes and blows the powdery substance right into Michael's face. We really cannot have Brian being bested by the likes of Michael. Still worried that Justin could have a bad reaction to this powder. I hope it never gets near him. Michael really is delusional if he thinks Brian would ever consort with him, no matter the circumstances. Did I mention that you need to squash Michael? I'll be watching for the next chapter and hoping for the reunion. Thanks, as always.

Author's Response:

Haha. I am definitely feeling the Michael hate as this story progresses! And... I don't have a problem with that - at all! Undoubtedly, with how this story is going, and the one preceding it - that point of view is as expected.

For sure, Ted is being very brave here. I don't think I would be, no matter how much I might think the Sultan needed my services. Of course, as it stands, he has had a problem with more trustworthy people around him, so maybe he has good reason. I think many are suspicious of Brian's 'unnamed' bodyguard. We will know in the next chapter whether he be friend or foe. Yes, I think it is very safe to assume that Michael... or perhaps his machinations with the former hypnosis plot is behind what drove Justin from Al Duran. Perhaps Michael's skills and reach went beyond what anyone realized. Right now it does appear so. For sure, I don't ever see Brian consorting with Michael for any reason. I will get back to this one as soon as I can. I'm really trying to get one of these stories off of my plate so I can devote more time to it. I am having fun writing this one.

Author's Response:

That could definitely be a concern... or is the guard doing something else? We should find out in the next chapter. Much will happen in that installment. Yes, Michael has far too much information. What nobody is wondering, though, is if Brian is truly oblivious to everything other than Justin. Time will tell. But, he is a ruler. Brian is no fool. The next chapter could contain a surprise or two. We'll just have to see. :)

Okay, how does Mikey know all this.  Who's talking.  You're not going to let him get away with this I hope.

Author's Response:

We will find out in the next chapter how Michael is succeeding with his 'inside' information. More of how he is in this position now could also be revealed... at least to the readers. In regards to if he succeeds in drugging Justin, we'll find out in the next chapter too. Everything needs to happen on this night before Brian whisks Justin back home. Let's hope such a drugging won't be successful. That could be catastrophic with Justin's various allergies.

Thanks so much for your support. More to come as soon as I can. :)

Can you please arrange for someone to push Michael down a manhole in Manhattan? Or would a better suggestion be to have someone dip his head in cement and drop him in the Hudson River? To say that I can't stand that schmuck would be a vast understatement! I really wish he had stayed DEAD from the first installment...smh But since he isn't- for whatever reason- could you please NOT let his plan succeed and really KILL OFF MICHAEL in the most painful way possible?

Author's Response:

It was a twisted moment when my muse decided to bring Michael back from the dead. I'll blame the muse. Yeah, that works. Right!? Haha. In truth, I did it because of a couple of readers that berated me for continuing in my anti-Michael characterizations. Sorry, I call it like I see it. Not that I don't see that he has any redeemable qualities; I just don't like how hard I have to look for them! Ha!

Regarding whether his plan succeeds or not, I guess we'll find out in the next chapter since he has a limited window of opportunity here. But, if he doesn't, then his entire scheme is doomed and he's rather insignificant. Well... more than he already is! LOL. And... what would the Sultan do if that turned out being the case? Find a way to bring him back to Al Duran too? Do we really want that? He escaped death once. Oh my. So many avenues. It boggles the mind! At least it does mine. Haha.

I certainly do understand your vehemence regarding Michael's character here. He is twisted here, and clearly irrational. Let's hope he is discovered soon.

Thanks for commenting. I appreciate that! :) Much more of this story to come...

I wondered if the man was Michael when he started following him.  Now you have to explain how he is alive.  Also with Ben not there to help Brian and find Michael this will be interesting.  Ted having the hots for Ben is a fun twist.  Great update.

Dee Dee

Author's Response:

Unfortunately, we will have more of Michael in this story... and explanations are certainly in order. We will get them in time. I can understand why Brian would leave Ben behind. With the uncertainty of how this all started, he would feel the need to keep Gus safe. I thought Ted having a crush on Ben would be fun. Odd that we never see that. Of course, we have to remember that Ben and Brandon were getting closer in the end of the last story. We'll check in with them at some point to see how that's going too.

Glad you enjoyed this, Dee Dee. Thanks so much for commenting! :)

Hello Janet!

Thank you for updating! Loved it! WHAT THE HELL? Michael is alive. How did he manage that? What on earth is he planning? More please!

Author's Response:

Hello Sorcha!

Haha. Michael being alive does seem to be the question of the day. I'm sure we will learn much more about that! Anything he's planning, can't be good for either Brian or Justin.

More to come. Thanks for commenting! I appreciate your constant support so much. I was definitely feeling a bit lonely here. :)

Well, you certainly surprised me wth THAT last part - ha!  Now Justin's about to face the wrath of two people, but for different reasons.  This sounds quite sinister on MIchael's part.  And I can see all kinds of misunderstandings emerging between the proud Sultan and his errant husband.  And if he thinks he can just yank Justin back home, I'm sure he will not find it that easy.

I have always loved this 'verse, Janet. I will be looking forward to the next part. Thank you for posting. ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hello Kim - I hoped that last part would be surprising. We thought that problem had been permanently resolved. We'll have to see exactly how Michael managed such trickery!

Undoubtedly, it appears we have more angst following our boys for some time to come... but in the next chapter, they will be in the same place for the first time in this sequel - FINALLY! I don't think the Sultan is too worried about how he gets Justin back on his terrain again - he's more focused on cornering him at this point. We'll have to see how that one plays out for him!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the first story, and I hope the same holds true for this one. Thanks so much for your support. It is deeply appreciated. *Janet*

Nooooo!  What evil plan does Michael have up his sleazy sleeve?  Little does Justin know the danger he is in.

Author's Response:

It does seem that Michael has something very sinister in mind. We should know more in the next part. Hopefully Justin stays safe in the meantime. Thanks so much for commenting! :)

I did not see that coming...Michael alive! And, now he is going to drug Justin? I hope that the Sultan's watchers prevent Michael from getting near Justin. What about Justin's allergies? That drug could gravely debilitate him. I have to agree with Brian's thoughts about Justin's current employment. Justin needs to use his head and reflect upon what precipitated his flight. He's a bright guy, but he surely has let his insecurities lead him astray. I'm ready for Brian to get to New York and squash the Sap. Cannot imagine what Michael's ultimate fate will be. Will be waiting anxiously for the next update. Thanks for this.

Author's Response:

Yay! Always glad when I can be surprising! LOL. We will have to see how Michael survived. I'm sure it's not a simple explanation. You make a very good point about Justin's allergies. That could definitely cause a problem. I don't even if Michael had the knowledge of those, he would even care. He is set on his twisted path, and only exposure could prevent him. We will know in the next chapter if he succeeds or not. Brian will be in New York then, and Michael's plan has to be carried about before these two meet again. More to come as soon as I can. Thanks so much for commenting! :)

Hello Janet!

Thank you for updating! Oh my Justin, why? lol. The Sap is going to regret hiring him for sure and dancing on a bar for other men? lol. It's like Justin chose all the things which will make the Sultan lose his mind. More please.

Author's Response:

Hello Sorcha!

Justin is making a habit of bad decisions. Without a doubt, he has to know how Brian would respond to these horrible events. The Sultan's arrival in NYC should prove to be very eventful...

Oh yes, I think Justin made a very unwise choice here. We'll see... but I doubt Brian will be very understanding in this.

Reviewer: Anonymous (Anonymous) · Date: May 16, 2016 01:04 AM · On: Playing With Fire

Well, the chapter is aptly titled. Foolish Justin. The Sultan will squash The Sap like a bug. In this case, good riddance. Don't even want to think what Justin will face whenever the Sultan gets his hands on him. Justin recognizes that he may have jumped to wrong conclusions, yet he is running instead of talking with Brian...not sure I understand his motivation. Just as bad on the other side in that Brian, knowing that what Ben was trying to tell him had merit, cast it all aside. As a matter of curiosity, what approach does Ben think would work with Justin? Really enjoying this and look forward to the next chapter. Thanks!

Author's Response:

If we know nothing else, I think we know that Justin did make a very bad choice here. He should have ran from that office the moment he realized the Sap's intentions. Despite this part being very canon, I doubt Brian's response will be. This could be the spark that wasn't needed... the one that fully regresses the Sultan back to full-on primitive!

At this point, I'm not sure the pictures are that much of a factor for Justin. Looking in from the outside, I would see his actions as being more self-sacrificing. I don't think he believes that Brian ever willingly gave up his harem. That he only did it to keep him. It appears Ben might be thinking that way now too. Whether it is true or not remains to be seen. Brian truly has so much to contend with, and even more than he knows with Sapperstein in the picture - although, we know the Sultan can easily handle him. Those pictures came from somewhere, and yet, he doesn't seem to be thinking about them. He is focused almost obsessively on getting Justin back. I think it's a given that Brian will make sure he is on a plane to NYC within the two days time he told Ben. I don't think Ben has any clear answers on how Brian should proceed with Justin; I think he just thinks Brian is too over the top right now - which he probably is - and that it will lead to an actual abduction this time. If that happens, the taming process will be much more difficult. Only time will tell.

Thanks so much for commenting, and your insightful thoughts. I do enjoy that. :) More coming as soon as I can.

When Brian knows where Justin is working, he's going to get very angry.

Gary is a bad person and Justin is going to have a lot of problems in his new job.

I love this story.

Author's Response:

Yes, you are right. Brian will be very angry about this. In this case, I can't really blame him, either.

Sapperstein is not only a sleaze, but dangerous as well. At least, he was in canon. I'm sure here as well. Hopefully Justin is removed from his grasp quickly.

Glad you're enjoying the story. More to come as soon as I can. Thanks for commenting! :)

Justin, Justin, Justin.....not a good choice for a job.  Although I can understand his desperation for quick cash.   Can't say that I feel sorry for what is about to befall Sap - he's such a sleaze - in any universe.  And, of course, Brian will find out - there'll be more than a jealous rage from the Sultan - heads will start rolling - not literally or perhaps maybe!!!!!!!?  Can't wait to find out.

Author's Response:

No, Justin didn't choose very wisely... but probably the best way to earn some money fast. I can only imagine the Sultan's rage once he finds out about the club, as well as Sapperstein's little initiation process. He is a sleze. It's probably a good thing we didn't see him more in canon than we did, or that Justin didnt work longer for him. I can see so many places they probably would have gone with that - if they had taken the time. We'll have to see how Brian responds to this once he discovers it. I doubt it will be pleasant for anyone.

Thanks so much for commenting. More coming as soon as I can. :)

Sapperstein has just made an enemy and he doesn't know it.  Justin can run but he can't hide.  Love how Ben knows his master only too well.

Author's Response:

Yes, you are too right. The Sap has made the most dangerous of enemies... at least, once the Sultan gets wind of this - and I am quite sure he will. Ben knows his master so well, and I think Justin knows him too. He doesn't seem to doubt that Brian is coming for him, and that his actions could have consequences. I think it could be much more than jealousy, but the danger Justin could potentially be exposing himself to as well.

Thanks for commenting, and your continued support. It is much appreciated. :)

Hi, Janet! Thrilled to see an update to this! Not so thrilled by Justin's choice of a job or employer, though - ha!  And I'm sure Brian won't appreciate it, either. You weren't kidding about the end. That greasy, oily snake.  They sure did a great job on the show of portraying him that way - and you have done that here, too.

I can only imagine a certain King's reaction to THIS turn of events.  If I were Gary, I would be afraid; very afraid!

I'm sure once all our readers are back on line, everyone else will be delighted to see an update to this story! Looking forward as always to the next part.  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi, Kim!

Glad to finally update this. I will NEVER have four WIP's again. I know I've said this before, but I mean it this time. And... I know I've said that too! LOL.

I guess in Justin's defense of bad choices I will say he's being practical and not waiting around for opportunity to come to him... but the Sap, we know that is a horrible idea. Let's hope an 'after hours' party isn't in Sapperstein's plans as well. I can't imagine. Our jealous Sultan would probably burn the club down... if not the entire city. Haha.

I do find the Sap revolting as well, but decided this was the perfect place to insert some canon, yet tell it a bit differently. I think it's for certain that Sapperstein has made an enemy he doesn't know anything about. I think he will, though.

Thank you for reading, and your support. It is much appreciated! I am hoping eveything gets back to normal soon. In time, I'm sure they will understand all good things are worth the wait. :)

Justin is right to be suspicious, but I think even he didn’t think Brian would go after him right away. At first I was angry at Justin, but now I’m just sad. He really doesn’t think much of himself, he could never believe Brian was genuinely in love with him, so he so readily trusted the photographs.

When the phone call started, I was holding my breath, hoping for a miracle, but of course Brian had to ruin everything but getting impatient and snappish! Argh. Now Justin will definitely not listen. They both need to go through some changes.

Author's Response:

I think Justin should have realized that Brian would come after him... but yes, maybe not so soon. In these moments, it doesn't appear that Brian has lost any of the primitive he was in the first story. If anything, I think he could become more predatory than he was then. He feels both betrayed and abandoned. Not good things for such a man of power.

I did enjoy writing the phone call. Probably because I hate writing stories where our boys are apart and not having full interaction. Phone calls is the best I can do until they find each other again. This does look to be another long journey.

Thanks so much for your comments. Working on this story now.

A sequel to Sultan’s possession – wow, I didn’t see it coming so soon! I’m amazed and so happy. I can’t tell you how glad I am that you decided to stay and gift us with more of your stories!

The banner is great, Gale is so beautiful on it, I love that photo of him.

I’m shocked that Justin ran away. Just shocked. Why would he immediately jump to conclusions, he’s supposed to know better than this! I guess he is more insecure than Brian imagined. But Christ, Brian is also wrong, he shouldn’t be going after Justin so soon, Justin is so stubborn, he will hate it and just refuse to listen!

Thank you for such an unexpected and intriguing start, Janet!

Author's Response:

Out of all of my stories, I think 'Sultan's Possession' was the most difficult one for me to let go. I really love writing Brian in that 'verse. In a way I wish I had waited just a bit longer to start on this. With having three other stories it's so hard for me not to just forge ahead on this one. I am really anxious to write it.

Roni did an amazing job on this banner. She surprised me with it, and I just have no words. It conveys everything perfectly.

I think Justin is still very insecure here and perhaps their relationship wasn't as solid as either of them thought. It appears there is much growth needed between them yet. Brian does seem to be regressing to former habits. Only time will tell how that works out for him.

Thank you for reading and commenting, Katrin. Your support is deeply appreciated!

Hello Janet!

Thank you for updating! Loved it! I just noticed your tags and they got me a bit worried and let's not forget the characters that are going to make an reappearance *wink* Brandon. I'm ready for the ride. Brian has determination and unlimited funds, NYC really? Justin should go hide in the country or a cave, well Brian could still find him there. More please.

Author's Response:

Hello Sorcha!

I wouldn't worry too much about those tags - yet. Well... maybe. Lol. I placed them as I was outlining this story in my mind, basically to cover all my bases. Some things could change, and some of them removed. Or not. We'll see. Haha. Regarding Brandon, well, when we left the last story he was starting something with Ben. We will check in with them soon and see how that's going. Regarding Justin's destination, I don't think he knew where to go. He really didn't have a home, or any family in this 'verse. I think for now he is searching for a place he can blend into the crowd and hide until he's ready to be seen. With the Sultan's resources and determination, I don't see that working out for him.

More as soon as I can. Thanks so much for commenting! *Hugss* Janet

OMG this Brian is so possessive, he cannot accept a no as an answer, poor Justin. However, Justin is so determined that he is not going to make it to Brian. Now I'm really looking forward for the next update

Author's Response:

Oh yes, Brian as the Sultan is extremely possessive/jealous... especially where a certain blond is concerned. It does seem another battle of wills is commencing. I do hope you enjoy this. More as soon as I can. Thanks for your comment! :)

Reviewer: Anonymous (Anonymous) · Date: April 15, 2016 02:54 AM · On: Awakening A Savage

Not sure what to say about Justin. He seems to have gotten over most of his anger and fixated on sacrificing what he wants for Brian's good. Kind of a Taylor cliff, I suppose. Interesting, though, that Justin is expressing some resentment at the way he was originally taken by Brian. I always thought that Justin would have reacted strongly to that. So, now it is resurfacing a bit. Complexities abound in just these two chapters. This looks like it is going to be quite a ride. Well done!

Author's Response:

At this point, Justin seems very confused. We'll have to see if there's more to that or not. I think he does feel that Brian gave up his harem only to keep him, and that his Sultan still needs diversity at different times. Perhaps he's right... or maybe not. Only time will tell with that too. I'm not sure Justin ever completely worked through how the beginning was for them the first time. We'll have to see if he feels any differently, should history be repeated. Brian's state of mind says that it will. For sure, this will be quite a journey. Maybe even as long as the first one. Thanks for commenting. I do appreciate that! :)

Hi, Janet - Glad to see a new story in my favorite 'verse of yours. I will be looking forward to what is shaping up to be an epic battle of wills, and to find out who is behind this move to break them up (although I have my suspicions).  Will definitely be along on the ride for this one. Thanks! ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi, Kim!

I am happy to be back in this 'verse as well. It was probably my favorite to write, a toss up really between this and the 'Captivated' series. So much to explore here. Hopefully the Sultan starts thinking more about those pictures. Right now his entire focus seems to be on reclaiming Justin. I do hope you continue to enjoy this. Need more, more, more....... I can't wait to find out what happens next. This is going to a very interesting game of cat and mouse - run, little mouse run....the cat is very determined. It's going to be fun. Still concerned about who sent the pictures and the reasons behind them. Have lots of questions - who, why and what else is the person behind this up to......??

Author's Response:

I am so glad you're enjoying this. I am excited to be back in this 'verse. Cat and mouse indeed. Right now, Brian isn't very focused on those pictures, and he probably should be. He is all about finding Justin. Could be explosive when he does.

Thanks so much for commenting! :)

Fantabulous chapter.  Shame Justin wasn't looking for whoever sent the pictures.  Will taking two days before going to get Justin give Justin enough time to disappear?  Looking forward to seeing how Brian gets his runaway back.

Author's Response:

So glad you enjoyed the chapter! Yeah, I don't think Justin can do that search. It looks like it is coming from nearer to Brian's homeland. Hopefully Justin doesn't find too much trouble in the meantime. Although, I do sense some rebellion in him... so only time will tell.
