I wish I could write more, but it's hard when I have created an ending in my head for a story already because the canvas is blank as to what a continuation would be. Also, I must finish writing the last 3 1/2 chapters for Anagennisis, and there's a another half-written story from 2010 that I want to try and complete.

I m trying to work out exactly why that last scene made me feel so uncomfortable. I like a strong Justin and Brian certainly deserved to be put in his place .. perhaps it's because although it was a balsy thing to do it also clearly highlighted (for everyone to see) just how hurt Justin was and that is something I would never do. More fool me .. and hopefully the sharp kick up the ass will help Brian over the relationship hurdle.

You're right: I do like Justin better in this chapter. :) He really is a ballsy, bossy, sometimes toppy guy and, of course, a drama queen. Hmm, sounds like my other favorite character, Brian. ;)
I'm glad Justin quit moping (temporarily at least) and gave Brian a piece of his mind, even though he may regret it later. Brian's not going to respect Justin if Justin doesn't ever stand up for himself. That's in the Brian Kinney Operating Manual, too.
Author's Response: Funnily enough, I did not like this scene and never wrote it. My beta insisted that something was missing between chapters 4 & 6, so I went back and wrote this, and kept it in, even though I thought the whole thing was 'meh'.
I am *so* glad that I listen to my beta, even when I disagree with her.

Author's Response: I'm confused as to why you would think this is a one-shot. It's very much incomplete as it stands, and is a 6 chapter story. I was wondering if I had clicked on the 'completed' tag by mistake, but I hadn't.

Darn, this cannot be complete. You've given us a start and you need to give us more. I'm thinking they didn't meet in Pittsburgh, so where did they? Love that you had them pretending to know each other for Brian's clients. Then Justin working for Brian and NO sex!!!! I want more.

Terrific start. Definitely looking forward to more of this. Was wondering how they would intereact considering their 1st conversation. Brian was a touch arrogant adn rude. LOL. Loved how Justin manipulated it though. Successful night for both B&J as well as Brian's business.
