Wow I’m outta breath after reading this chapter. My heart was in my mouth right from start to finish. Poor Gus is terrified if he has to go back live with his mothers. As for the girls reaction is just unreal how dare they when they didn’t even notice he wasn’t there. I’m so angry 😡.

Brilliant work x

I'm glad Justin got Gus outside before the bitches started in on him and his daddy. Brian told the honest truth about them not even calling or realizing Gus was not home for a month, great story

Author's Response:

I like that Justin intervened before exposing Gus to the girls-  he aleady is worried.

About time Brian put those women in their places. Bring it on Mel,  you'll lose anyway.

Yep-  Brian will fight for his son

Can't wait to read this story. But I'm one of those that can't wait for a new chapter. I'll wait until it's finished

until then, I'll check out the rest of your finished work.

Your fan

Author's Response:

I totally understand not wanting to read until it is finished.  I hope that will be soon and you won't be disappointed.  If I can recommend some other works- I'd start with the Pain Management Universe-  Falling off the Cliff is the first story

Always happy to see an new chapter!!!!  Even with 2 kids B&J find time for romance.  Hope Mel gets her due soon.  Loved that Brian likes Colin sitting on his lap so he doesn't have to see him eating - that is so Brian!  This is a really great story!!!!!!!!  Bill

Author's Response:

I love that scene too.  I had a friend tell me that his wife always fed their kids before he got home as it disturbed him to watch the messy eaters-  I can see Brian doing that.

Can the family wipe the floor with Mel and Lindsey, please????

Author's Response:

Yes- they are despicable-  acting like they have been there for Gus when they haven't been

I loved the ending o this chapter and chuckled when Deb said "Who wants dessert?"

Author's Response:

Thankd-  I think the family was too stunned to talk about the pink elephant in the room.

Thank You for the update.

Now the girls want to play mommies in front of the "family".  LOL

Can't wait to see what you got in store for them

Hey Sandy! EXCELLENT Chapter! I can't wait for Lindsay and especially, Melanie to get theirs. I really don't think she cares for Gus at all. He's Brian's son and a difference would always be made between Gus and her daughter. Lindsay is... LAWD HAM TURKEY, there just aren't enough words in ANY language to say how much I loathe her in this. She is the worse kind of abuser; the kind of viper that you never see coming until she hisses just before striking. I really can't wait to see her get hers.

Hopefully, Michael will stay out of it, keep his BIG MOUTH shut for a change and actually listen with open ears, instead of the selective hearing he's known for. Even Deb, isn't defending and barking up the tree of 'mother's rights' this time. Perhaps she is finally acknowledging that although she smothered her son, not all women are created to be anything more than a walking uterus. That particular body part does NOT a mother make! It's just anatomy.

Looking forward to the next chapter of this wonderful story!

Happy Writing and HUGS,

~Nichelle

Thank you for your wonderful review.  It means a lot to have specific feedback on the story.  I agree that Melanie treats Gus differently and I always thought that her talking bad about Brian in front of Gus should have been something Lindsay attempted to stop.  I feel that Lindsay has always seen Gus as a way to tie her to Brian and to have that 2.2 kids in the burbs with Brian and she in the nice suburban household.

Darn, I guess that means Gus misses desert.  But I like that Brian let the girls have it.  It's time the family learns that the girls have not been taking care of their son.  The nerve of them trying to say he couldn't go to soccor came.  I wanted to strangle Lindsay.

Author's Response:

I want the chocolate cake too!!!.  Its Brian's money and if he wanted to pay for Gus' camp, let him-  It wouldn't matter if Gus was living with him or not.  I often think that Mel and Linds see Brian as a personal money tree but when he tries to have a say so in how that is spent, they act like the money is their's.

Wow that was intense the girls are unbelievable they know about the custody papers yet they still think they call the shots. Gus is really scared and he wants to be with his daddies and Colin

Author's Response:

Gus wants to be where he is loved and wanted and that is not with his moms.  This is difficult for him all around.
