I think the state Justin found the girls house in reflects how their life is. No child that age should be left alone that long with a younger child. Who is looking after Jenny that poor child must be neglected as well. Gus is still trying to find his balance isn’t he. Gosh I can’t express how much I’m loving this story. Love the guys as parents

 Incredible work x

Author's Response:

The girl's house was a mirror to their lives-  messy and chaotic

I love the interaction between Gus and Colin, with Gus being ignored by his moms he still loves Colin and is not jealous of his little brother. I can't belive the condition of Linz's kitchen it makes you wonder if JR is fed enough.

Author's Response:

thanks for your comments-  I'm pleased to see you can envision the trash that was in LIndsey's kitchen.  It is always hard for a writer to know if the descriptions do their job.  I think the girls are just too lazy and preoccupied to take care of their kids.

Sweet chapter. It's nice that Gus is learning his boundries of what is allowered and what can wait for another day.

Loved this chapter.  Justin is an outstanding father and so is Brian.

Author's Response:

Thank you.  I really think that they are in sync with Gus and will be great parents to Colin too.

As always a wonderful chapter. Love the relationship that Gus and Justin have. The way you have them work as a team!! That is a RL Dream LOL.

Thank you for the update Look forward to the next one

Learning that Gus was essentially a latchkey kid, was tough.  Mentioning it to Brian is a must.  I'm pretty sure they check Gus homework.  Maybe they can give him tips on how to finish faster.

Author's Response:

Latch key children are unfortunately common.  There is so much that Gus did not tell his dad and Justin and hopefully he will feel comfortable now in sharing more with them.

I like the way you write the interaction between Gus and Justin. It shows that bother respect the other and don't try to manipulate or trick the other.

Author's Response:

Thank you.  I think Justin really wants Gus to respect him as a parent but alos see that he is there for him

Really great to see an update!!!  I enjoy this story so much.  Gus was good about sticking to the routine instead of getting to play.  Still worried about L&M when they realize Gus lives with his Dads.  Don't really want him but don't want B&J to have him.  Gus is a great big brother to Colin.  Bill

Thanks as always for your continued support and comments.  It means so much.  So happy that you still enjoy this story.  I love the family dynamics and hopefully next chapter will start to address L & M.
