ooooooooooooooooooo, what will happen now?  He won't need money if Brian just hires him.  Ponders.

I wish Brian had given him more support and a hint of an option if things with the dean go badly.

Well, now the truth is all revealed, but Justin's life will change radically. Without a place to live, no job, no your purse ...

Waiting for the next emotions.

Lucky for me that the next chapter is already posted :)

Hugs, my friend!

Fátima.

Your write up on randy;s play was wonderful. You must have been wiped when you got home. I;m glad you had a good time even though short. Did you or are you going to give to kickstarter for Kiss me Kill me. I think a bunch of us are. Michelle Clunie pregnant--wow 44 and having baby-good luck to her. Listners are waiting for an update. HA! lol

Author's Response:

Hi, Lindc! Thanks for the kind words.  I always wonder if people really want to read about those things, or if they think I'm nuts and/or just bragging. It's definitely not my intention. I do think some readers enjoy hearing about the plays, especially those that can never see him since they live outside the US. So hopefully it's not too over the top. I don't think I'm certainly the most technical of reviewers, though.  I put more of my heart and soul into my posts about them, I guess.  But I do try to be as accurate as I can.

And you're right, BTW. I had at most 3 hrs' sleep Saturday night, and was on a total of five planes in two days. Ugh. I must have been out of my mind for sure!! I was soooo tired!  But the costumes and set design were incredible, and Randy did a wonderfully wacky job as Amadeus.  The theater people there blew me away with the signed posters, too.  I was hoping to maybe get Randy's signature only on one or two of them. To have two copies signed by all the cast was far above and beyond anything I would have expected.  And the house manager who let us go see a few minutes of the play at 4 was so gracious.  So I don't regret doing it. I had a great time with my friend.

Sigh..But it has been a VERY busy week for me, starting with that trip.  I had class grades due this week and two meetings at school in the evening, so that has left me with little time to update. Plus, I wound up slightly tweaking the story, so I have to do some minor revisions to it. Anyway, I am working on it now, and should have the next part up tomorrow.:)

As for Kiss Me, Kill Me  - yes, I have contributed toward the Kickstarter. This one seems to need some more support than "Such Good People." I do hope it reaches its goal, although I admit all these fundraisers are starting to wear a little thin.  Plus, it's the same time period as Scott's fundraiser, which is probably trying to draw from the same fan base, which isn't helping.  I have heard, though, that Gale IS one of the two major characters, and will be featured throughout the movie, and I would LOVE to see him acting opposite Van Hansis.  Yum.  And I didn't realize Michelle is 44. Wow. I heard she and the father had been trying for two years. I'm very happy for her.  She should be a great mom.

Please tell everyone thanks for bearing with me until I can update!  It should be tomorrow some time.  Sending my love back to everyone.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Palmer is an idiot – really, what a coward! He acted like a child, hiding like that. But after his story I do feel sort of sympathetic. Everyone wants to be the best, to be valued… I *loved* how you described the ‘truth coming out’ moment – I was a little afraid that Justin still wouldn’t believe, that he’d think Brian somehow blackmailed Palmer and made him tell this. But it was impossible not to believe him – it was a fantastic moment, so intense! Justin’s reaction was great – everything I expected and hoped it to be. I was surprised that Brian forgave him like that – but then I probably should have expected it. Brian is very patient with Justin’s mistakes, he understands him, understands his enthusiasm and his desperate desire to prove him wrong, not to believe his words. He probably remembers how he was the same in Justin’s age – how he was holding onto his job. Same things here. I’m so happy they figured it out!

Brian’s reaction to news that Justin has to move out confused me, though. What is he planning?

Thanks, wonderful chapter!

Author's Response:

Hi, Katrin! Thank you as always for reading, and for the comments.:)  As for Brian's reaction, I suspect he feels if he immediately offered Justin help that Justin, being the proud person that he is, would refuse and even be offended by it. Deep down, he wants Brian's help and support, but he still wants to feel like he can make his own way.  But you know that Brian won't be able to just stand still and do nothing.;)

I'll get the next part up very soon.  I was out of town, and this week is a very busy one. But it won't be long now. Thank you again.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Out of town, watching a play in Santa Barbara, perhaps?  Hmm?

Nice chapter here.  Brian knows about wanting something all right.  And I don't mean just for business.

Keep 'em coming.

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  Well.....you already know the answer to that question.:D  I sent you an email, BTW.  Randy was amazing as always.;)  And you're right - I think while Justin's attending to some unfinished business with Marcum, Brian may be doing the same somewhere else.;)  I'll have another part posted very soon. Thanks so much for all the support.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Love when Brian hS to sweep in and protect Justin!! I'm hoping Brian asks Justin to work for him!! Glad you got to see Randy's new play. Loving this story Kim! Thanks

Author's Response:

Hi, Ro - you're so kind to read and leave a comment; thank you for that. And thanks for having faith in me to bring them together; you know I'll leave them in a happier place by the time I'm done.;)

And yes, I'm glad I got to see Randy in his new play. But what a way to do it!  I can't quite believe I did that in a weekend - ha!  But he was amazing as usual, and the costumes & set were great. And the people at the theater were so hospitable. The house manager even let us go into the early show for a few minutes to see a little of it as a sneek peek.:)

I'll have an accounting of it up on my LJ soon. Thanks again for the support.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Good Luck and let me know what happens....are you kidding me? That's how he lets him go? I think Justin needs to just keep right on walking. What kind of future can he think he's going to get with a man who doesn't feed him and then after forcing him to acknowledge facts that mean he'll have to quit school all he gets is a weak and wimpy Good Luck. Wait, I bet the desert that was served at the award banquet was unwashed fruit that contained some horrible brain eating parasite and Brian now has brain damage caused by tiny Peruvian brain worms the first sign is saying stupid things to people that you feel emotional close too. Followed next by smacking yourself for being such an idiot. I hope a cure can be found for this disease.
Lori

Author's Response:

Hi, Lori - thank you for continuing to read and review. I hope the rest of it doesn't disappoint you. I think Brian is still feeling his way around his relationship with Justin, and is unsure how hard to push him, and he is still a bit afraid of revealing how deeply he cares about him. Brian always WAS more prone to action to reveal his emotions, rather than with words, so hopefully you will feel he's redeemed himself by the time this is done.

I'll have another part up soon. Thanks again for reading.  ~Kim

Just when we thought we were off the cliff lol...it's good Justin knows the whole truth but will he lose his grant?

Author's Response:

Hi, Tamara! I know - one step forward, one step back.;)  But all will be resolved soon. I'll have the next part up very soon. Thank you for reading, and for the support, my friend. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Oh i have been waiting for the this chapter and although we have a resolution we are on another arc does Brian offer a position to Justin????

Author's Response:

Hi, Chris! Hmmm...well, we know he's at least AT Britin in the end, so Brian definitely will be involved in the resolution.  Justin's about to have a very interessting chat with Marcum first, though. I'll have the next part up very soon. Thank you for continuing to read and review, my friend. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hope you had a fun weekend.  Great chapter but you still have us on the edge of a cliff.  Looking forward to the next chapter.  Bill

Author's Response:

Hi, Bill! Yes, I had a good time, but how exhausting! Glad to be back in my own bed. But at least I got to see Amadeus, and meet up with a friend for a nice, oceanside view at dinner.  Thank you for reading, and for your comments. Coming to an end soon. I'll have another part up in a few days. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Figures Palmer would try that stunt. >.<

At least Justin knows the truth now and hopefully the dean will allow Justin to continue his internship somewhere else and still keep his grant. :(

Loved this. Can't wait for the next chapter. XD (mrs_koki @LJ)

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie! Thank you so much for reading, and for taking the time to comment.;)  Justin and Brian will find a way to resolve it, do not fear.  I'll have another part up very shortly. Thank you again for all the support; it is greatly appreciated.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

It's good to know that now Justin believes Brian.  Somehow I see Justin moving in with Brian in his future.  But don't tell him.  lol.

Author's Response:

Hmmm...I think you may be right.;)  Justin's about to have an interesting chat with Marcum first, though.  I'll have another part up very shortly. Thank you for continuing to read and review. I really appreciate that.  *Hugs*  ~Kim
