Picturing Brian Kinney in Dollywood amuses me. LOL Justin sketching Gus with the engineer is so endearing, I have a feeling Brian won't want to be leaving the mountains anytime soon. ;)
Author's Response: Hi, Mandi! Thanks for all the comments. This story I wrote reminds me of one of my favorite stories of yours in a way - "Chocolate Kisses." You write Gus very well. I do love that character - I think because of how tender Brian seemed to be around him. I wish we had had more scenes between father and son. This story is just so sweet-I just love it. It will be interesting to see where it goes when they go back to the wonderful"PITTS" Me thinks noone will be too happy--we shall see what happens next. I will be reading this one 2 morrow. As usual they will be hanging on every word. I have read over half of your stories to them so far. One that stood out by my reading was Trust--not a dry eye in the room from that one. You are truly sooo good a writer. Reading these stories again to different listeners has proved that fact over and over. You are a marvel, girl nd I hope you know that. lol

Sometimes your type of comments is all I have to keep me going, so I truly appreciate them.;) I'm very happy you're enjoying this story. They WILL, obviously, reunite, but it will take a little time. And yes, neither man is going to be happy over the separation, although one, stubborn brunet will try to deny it to himself.;)

The ride on the train was oh so very nice. Brian is such a devoted father and Justin drawing Gus and Bud was great to read. Knowing that Justin ends up going to Pittsburgh with Brian has me looking forward to reading how you work that out.
