I enjoyed this so much! I am a huge fan of your writing soul and your humor.

Author's Response:

I'm so pleased you liked this Astor. :))  I love your wording "your writing soul and your humor".   Thanks so much.

Cheers :)))

This may be one of the funniest and most original fics I've read in this fandom! Lol

Author's Response:

I had so much fun writing this.  Childhood memories would fleetingly visit my musings and I just couldn't let them leave without acknowledging them in this little bit of silliness.

Original fic; thank you so much.  Whether people like my fics, or not, I hope ‘original' is a word that stays with them, as that is what I aim for.

As for the funniest comment; thank you so very, very much as it is a real pleasure to receive that word in a review.

Cheers :)))

Love the ending!! So funny!!

Author's Response:

I loved writing this.  I got to incorporate childhood entertainment, such as nursery rhythms, poems etc.   I didn't think anyone would get all the quips, but I am happy some people got them.  Thank you for letting me know you understood the humor and enjoyed the ending. :)

Cheers :)

Loving this so far! Very original story!

Author's Response:

I love it when someone mentions my fics are original, as that is what I aim for.  It makes my day to hear that.  Thanks for saying it.

Cheers :)

Hi, Flossee!

It's good to be here again <3

You are very welcome, the pleasure was mine - strange, unusual, interesting, exactly mine cup of tea.
"Tea Rex" - I was so sure you made that up, didn't know there actually is a tea named like that :LOL
So I definitely didn't get all the quips but nevertheless I had a lot of fun :)

Author's Response:

Hey :)))))

Tea Rex was me trying out some dinosaur humour.  Luckily, Ethan had changed jobs, as Tea Ethan just wouldn't have worked. LOL  I may have gone too far with punishing Ethan, but when I learnt the fact that the chamber pot 'gazunder' (= goes under) the bed I just had to use it and my callous disregard for Ethan's wellbeing went out the window, or under the bed so to speak.  LOL

I'm so glad you commented on the quips as I think a lot people only found them from comments made in reviews.LOL  I really love people mentioning what they got from this, but to say you didn't get all the witticisms and still had fun, really makes me beam with happiness. :D)))))  Thank you so much.

Cheers :)

See, without Michael Brian is so pure and innocent, vulnerable:LOL

I had this urgent desire to protect him, to hold him, to take care of him :LOL

I enjoyed your story very much, thanks, Flossee!

Author's Response:

Hey :) It's great to hear from you.

Brian's vulnerability caused him to be placed on the Queen's throne.  I can be so cruel sometimes. LOL  Although, a grown man playing with dolls, sorry gnomes, haha; plus this fic ending with him giggling, maybe, just maybe, our more  effeminate man in this relationship does need protecting. LOL  Okay, I'm only joking.  I love Brian, and I really love that he can have a vulnerable side, while still being the Brian Kinney we all know and love, and I'm extremely chuffed that you commented on it.

Thanks so much for letting me know you enjoyed this somewhat strange fairy-tale. :))

Cheers :)

Hi, Flossee,

Just wanted to thank you for the lovely comment you left me on the last chapter of my Artist/Justin fic. For some reason, I can no longer log in to MW, which means I can't reply to my comments.

But it means the world to me that you're still reading and liking that fic. Next chapter should be written and posted must quicker than this one was.

Thanks again!

Linda

Author's Response:

Hey Linda :)

Okay, now I want to go back and review all your work so you will review me back with a reply.  LOL  Just kidding. :D

Thank you for going to so much effort to let us know you have read our reviews.  I hope you get to sign back in soon as you have two fics to update.  Yes, I haven't forgotten "Lesson In Love".

Cheers :)

Well I'm glad that the mystery of the worst job in the kingdom was finally solved and how fitting that Ethan was the perfect one for it. I'm going to assume he is still hard at work. Sorry, I had to take a popcorn break. I think my favorite part in this chapter was the wee willy winky part. I nearly went wee wee all down my pant leg. I think this story earns smiling stars, no, make that laughing smiling stars. Now I have to go baste my chicken, that sounds kind of kinky but actually a cooking term.
Lori

Author's Response:

The worst job in the kingdom; what a shit job!  :D

Oh, you are a terrible friend; why do you keep mentioning popcorn when you know I have none.  LOL

Hey, I love that you have a favourite part.  We both usually go off on a tangent and into our one brain world so I don't need to concentrate when answering, okay, I'll need the brain for a few minutes please.  LOL

Wee Willy Winky was inspired by Peter Dinklage.  He is in GOT; he gets the funniest lines, hence making him my favourite character (I swear if they kill him off I will stop watching, lol).  I'm glad you didn't have a wee problem with www.com :D

I may have over done the Ghostbusters characters, but it is the movies 30th anniversary this year so I had to pay homage.

Laughing star; sometimes I wish I could just hug you.  That is funny and so kind. :))))))  Thanks for the laugh.

"Baste my chicken" yep, that definitely sounds kinky, but in a fun way.  LOL

Cheers :)))))

I've never watched Games of Thrones so I'm kind of lost in that regards but the grumpy pants thing really brought a smile to my face. One of my ways with dealing with cranky people is always imagining that they are wearing underwear that are way too tight and that is making them cranky and grumpy and hard to deal with. That way I can just ignore all the evil things they do and put it all back on them for being too stupid to buy some new undie that fit better. Oh sometimes I might give them a little benefit of doubt and think perhaps they grabbed the wrong pair out of a full basket of unfolded laundry and dressed in dim light, or maybe they are behind in the bills and can't afford a new pair of more comfy panties and have to squeeze into a pair from their skinny days. Ok, back to the gnome story, once I got done laughing over the grumpy pants I loved this first chapter. I know you said it was a humor based fic but I feel there is a deeper level of meaning hidden but right now I'm feeling that you must be taking your turn with the brain because right now I've lost my train of thought. So before I start drooling in my bowl of popcorn I better just give you a whole page of smiles and LOL. It's nearly my bedtime and I do need to take Tadhg on a potty walk..
Lori~ wearing comfy undies

Author's Response:

Dear Comfy Undies :)

Appreciations for reviewing. :D  As you know you are my yardstick when it comes to humour and a US audience.  I know my sense of humour is weird and if you don't get it then I can assume it is my Aussie eccentricity materializing.  LOL

I'm glad you like the "grumpy pants" comments as I wasn't sure how they would go down (no, not the pants go down, the humour, lol).

You don't need to have watched "Game of Thrones" or "Gnomeo & Juliet" as they were just how my brain got distorted enough to write this. LOL  The only thing you probably need to know is with fairy tales the prose (thanks Jon for this word,  **little wave** :D) can be repetitive and I just had a little fun with that. :))

You had to tell me you had popcorn didn't you, thanks, thanks heaps because now I'm drooling and I don't have any in the pantry. LOL

Cheers from one very Happy Pants wearer today. :)))  Okay I admit there are not too many days I don't have my happy pants on, but occasional I have to wash them.  Eww TMI right?  LOL  I assume after that statement you will never trust me with the brain again.  LOL

This is so, so very funny. Written on my drink bottle is, Wake-up, Kick Ass, Repeat, so I know where you're coming from. :D  Thank you so much for all the fun reviews.

Cheers :)

William Tell & Annie Oakley, King of the Hill, Dana and Louis-Ghostbusters-possessed much lol

Mosaic gnomes ha 2 funny

I LOVE you AU's

Author's Response:

Aww, You love me.  LOL  I have read ahead; Haha so funny.

William and Annie as marksmen/person; I'm happy you got that. LOL

OMG, I can't believe you wrote that about Dana and Louis as I was going to put in a line where Louis was possessed with a Keymaster's personality, but I didn't think anyone would get it.  I'm so happy someone thinks as I do.  LOL

"Mosaic gnomes" I really thought that line would be lost.  Yet, I couldn't have any loss of life (be it gnome or human) in a humorous fic.  It just wouldn't be right. :) I almost wrote at the bottom "No human or gnome lives were lost in the writing of this fic. :D

Thanks again for your wonderful comments. :))

Cheers :)

Zuul & Vinz-Ghostbusters, Alfred Pennyworth-Batman, Old King Cole-Brian's father

this is fun

Author's Response:

Yay, I love that you have recognized so many of the players.

Zuul & Vinz are the Gatekeeper and Keymaster from Ghostbusters. :)

Brian's father is "The Grand Old Duke of York" however; he could have been "Old King Cole" as well; as I believe he was a merry old soul.  LOL

Ding, ding, ding, correct again, Alfred is Bruce Wayne's valet. :)

I'm glad you had fun with this.  I am definitely having fun with your reviews.  Thank you so much for taking the time to leave them. :)

Cheers :)

Hilarious! And so imaginative, you even put in some things I didn't even think of! Good story and well done.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for the "hilarious" comment, and your very kind words.  I'm really glad you liked it.

Cheers :)

I really enjoyed this.  The bother from another mother and all the other great quips were amazing.  Fucking gnomes indeed!!  You outdid yourself.

Author's Response:

I'm soooo glad you picked up on the quips and enjoyed them.

Haha Fucking gnomes, they thought the story was all about them so they just had to appear in the last scene. :D

Thank you so very much for the compliment; I am trying many different styles of writing and I'm not sure they are successful unless someone else enjoys them and lets me know.  I really appreciate you reviewing for me, thanks heaps.

Cheers :)

<A big fanboy Sqqquuueeeeeeee!!!!)

I immediately homed in on this. Surprise Surprise! Great job. Lookingn forward to more. Love your fairy tale prose. And the inventive title name was hilarious!

Author's Response:

Hey Jon :)

WOW, I take that as a huge compliment, since you are the king of fairy tales on MW.   I must say, this will be a short fic as I am just dabbling here and I know getting an audience to participate and give feedback on fairy tale humor can be tough.  Yet, I have always liked this genre of humor, as I'm sure you know since I follow your work, but I wasn't sure I could pull it off.  Thank you so much for commenting on the title and the "great job" comment.  My confidence is increasing that I may have achieved what I set out to.  Thanks heaps.

Cheers :)

Author's Response:

Thanks Bob.  I love acoustic music, and I love this piece of music.  I particular love acoustic music when it is a sole instrument (which to me includes a singer who sings Acappella as that is their instrument).  This prompted me to think of the QAF version of "You are My Sunshine".

Useless fact:  The theme music to GOT is played for 1:51 minutes each show, so if you have watched each show you have then listened to this piece of music for over an hour.  No wonder it gets stuck in a person's head. LOL

Cheers :)

I was thinking why mischievous Justin surprises me - well, because this is Justin we are talking about :LOL but most importantly I allowed myself be misled by Game of Thrones and we know that The North is all about nobility there :)

Which is kinda boring :LOL

I like your King of The North better :)

Author's Response:

Hey, I'm glad you have seen "Game of Thrones".  However, this fic doesn't follow that storyline or the "Gnomeo & Juliet" one; it is just where my brain got muddled and the idea formed.  I know, that says a lot about my state of mind.  LOL   Still, now you have mentioned GOT the only King I really liked was Renly Baratheon, King of the Seven Kingdoms and, SPOILER ALERT, he dies.   OMG, wasn't his lover just gorgeous?

I'm glad you like this more relaxed King of the North, Justin, better than the boring ones in the aforementioned show, plus I hope he is more fun.   I love Justin so he won't really be too naughty.  Oh no, have I just given away too much with that comment.  LOL  You are bringing me way to much fun with these thoughts, thank you, as I know how you think about these things and I hope you don't mind me being a little light-hearted with it. :)))

Cheers :)

I read this over lunch and had quite a giggle. Naughty, naughty Justin.

Author's Response:

OMG, thank you for saying this made you giggle.  I really do worry about my sense of humor, but I feel better if I know other people laugh at the same things I do. :D

Naughty, naughty Justin who would think he could be so mischievous?  No, I didn't raise my hand as it was a surprise to me too. Haha

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and letting me know I'm somewhat normal. LOL

Cheers :)

This is so funny :LOL
I can't wait for more :)

So, Ethan is here, now I'm waiting for Michael :LOL
Justin is very bad boy, playing unfair, I didn't see that coming.
More please :)

Author's Response:

Hey arakiss :)

I'm so glad you were able to read this after reading "Define His Will" as I know you like levity as much as I do, and sometimes it's good to get a break from angst.  Oh, before I forget, thank you, I had forgotten to add the anti-Ethan category, and you reminded me.  Yes, Justin is very naughty, but I don't think anyone can send him to bed without any supper. LOL  Thank you for letting me know you want more and that we have shared a laugh. :D

Cheers :)

I greatly enjoyed this, but what happens next? :>)

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you get my sense of humor. :D

Yes indeed, what happens next, as Justin has been a very naughty boy, going back on his word. LOL  Spoiler alert, there will be more gnomes.

Thank you for saying you greatly enjoyed this; I really appreciate your kind words.

Cheers :)
