Justin is out only for Justin

This was great; very bitter-sweet, which is always good. I really adored your explanation behind the Sunshine nickname. I too feel like Brian would have said those three little words at this time. Maybe we can pretend he did. ;) *Hugs*

Author's Response:

Yes indeed, I believe Brian would have been saying anything and everything in that moment.

Again, I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for letting me know that you did :)

Nothing like a hot little romp to put thing in perspective. ;) Really enjoyed this My Dear, especially the last line.

Author's Response:

Hah, it was a little awkward to write, but still fun ;)

I am glad you liked it. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond

"Don't go", he whispered. Justin felt his heart begin to melt now. -My heart melted a little too. :) Loved everything about this one. You write very well. :)

Author's Response:

Thank you indeed! I for one happen to love your writing style, so for you to say that I write well is a fantastic compliment :)

I really like this chapter too ;)

I really enjoyed this. If Brian was able to admit he had feelings like an actual human early on, it would have spared him a lot of his troubles. I like how you had Ethan bow out gracefully, and didn't make him a total jerk. I am in the minority that did not completely despise the kid; he was just young and naive. But we all know Brian and Justin will always belong together. :) Thank you for sharing your words. *Hugs* -Mandi

Author's Response:

Thank you my dear.

It brings me joy to know that you liked this. I am also one of the few who didn't hate Ethan. There are far too many anti-ethan stories, so I did not want to make this one.

Will there be more chapters?

Author's Response:

It is possible, but at the moment I don't have any ideas!

thanks for reading!

Oh, this scene was so painful. I especially liked the filler scene with Brian inside his car trying to muster the courage to go inside. Nicely recreated here. I lked where you ended- that was a nice touch. Brian admitting his love was a great place to add this.

Author's Response:

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it ;) xoxo

Hi! I was so sure I put a review on your story, but I understand now ;)

I love your writing, it's beautiful. Love the idea of Brian opening up sooner ( even if I'm not sure he would have ever done it in the show) so I' going to read chapter 2 now...

*hugs* and BTW I love your pseudo :)

Author's Response:

Thanks lovely xoxo

Loved this.Got a little nervous when Justin felt guilty and started to get dressed, but you fixed it. These stories are great.

Glad you enjoyed it ;) xoxo

I like how this played out and would like to read about Justin telling Ethan he's going back to Brian.  Brian actually told him he loved him, why didn't they do that in the series?

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading. While I could write about Justin telling Ethan he's going back to Brian, that is not the point of this particular story. Also I am in the same boat as Justin. I wouls have no idea what to say!!! ;) xoxo

This was an excellent idea. I always enjoyed that final scene from 3x04 and considered there to be a lot of sexual tension between the guys during it. You can especially see this in the way Brian looks at Justin whilst the bracelet is being put on. So it makes sense that you extrapolated this scene to have Brian admit that he misses Justin. And even though I think some of the narrative could have been structured better (i.e separating the two different POV's), I generally enjoyed this very much. There were some great lines here and lots of hot sex. Brian was kept in style with his shy confession of love- which actually mirrored 1x01 when Justin later told Daphne what Brian said before he came. I think that underneath the bravado, Brian is quite reticent about certain things, love definitely included. I especially liked the part where Justin admits that he missed Brian even though he did not want to hear it himself. His anxiety over admitting to Ethan that he has done the same thing he did to Brian was also very good attention to detail. Having Brian at the end, more determined to hold onto Justin was a sweet touch- again, paying attention to how his one confession does not change who he is, but makes him more committed to keeping Justin. On the whole, very well done.

Author's Response:

Thank you for the review, oh how I love feedback! I agree, the structuring is a little 'bleh', but I'll work on that over time. If you have any other ideas for scenarios I could write, feel free to share! xoxo

Reviewer: Dido_MagnaCarta (Signed) · Date: July 17, 2014 11:01 PM · On: Chapter 2-Would you care?

This is more in character of Brian than Chapter One. Definitely more like him to express his love through fucking. I could very well pictyure him asking Justin not to go. Yes, this is the better chapter. Don't worry about the errors in canon. Not everyone can reproduce the entire script. I had trouble doing this with my own work. Very sweet scene you created here.

Author's Response:

Why, thank you darling ;)

Reviewer: Dido_MagnaCarta (Signed) · Date: July 17, 2014 10:55 PM · On: Chapter 1-Rage Party

An interesting alternate scenario. It is difficult to decide whether Brian would be this impulsive, but it does kind of link to when Justin said in 3x08 that Brian should not have let him leave in the first place. I actually, preferred Brian's original reaction, because it is clear proof of his love, but this makes sense too.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review. I agree that this is unlike Brian. If it was like him, he probably would have done it. But he was far too proud and piss-afraid in his pants to do what this chapter describes. And yet, I couldn't help but wonder...what if?

Bravo! I wrote a fic about this particular episode and scene, but it was not as beautiful as this my friend ;) I can't wait for more of this!

This would have made a great episode.  You have all the elements.  Brian refusing to admit he cares.  Justin going to Ethan and deciding he'll stay and having Ethan refuse him.  Serves him right.  Having Brian not only admit he wants Justin to stay but actually telling him he loves him!  Fantastic.

Author's Response:

Thanks hun, glad you enjoyed it ;)

Oh no, you lost your reviews.

Welcome to MW.  I can't remember what I wrote, but I know I did mention how I love the idea of reliving all the missed opportunities Brian had to say those three little words.  I have never read this approach before and I love unique ideas.

I look forward to the next update.  If you need help so you don't lose your work again admin are really helpful or I'm sure most member/authors can walk you through the process. :D

Cheers :)

It seems like a very interesting, unusual story! I loved the first chapter, I love how you describe Brian's pain and fear, Justin's uncertainty. The idea of this is great - when I re-watch QAF, I always torture myself with thoughts of how Brian could say The Words in other situations, and here is a story based on it, full of all possible scenarios! I look forward to the next chapter, thank you for the brilliant idea and wonderful execution! Beautiful ending - and great dose of good-written angst, I love it!:)

I also always loved Ethan plot line, I think it was vitally important to Brian and Justin both. It showed Brian that Justin can get fed up with his bullshit, after all, that he can find the strength to leave if he's not happy. He realized how much he himself needs him, how lonely it is without him in his life - Brian in those first S3 episodes almost reached the point of craziness, and the only thing that saved was his decision to do everything so Justin would stay in his life one way or another.

Justin, on the other hand, could say that he's been in two relationship, he can compare them - he realized he can't get over Brian, that Brian just got extra-assholish and pushed him away, while Justin didn't have strength to push back.

Oh, I'm babbling again :) Sorry. Anyway, loved your first chapter - can't wait for the next one! Thank you!

Author's Response:

So glad you enjoyed it. I am also glad that we agree on the whole Ethan thing. I refused to write him in a demonizing manner, as I have never seen him that way. Thank you for the review, I'll keep you posted real soon ;)

I believe I am one of the few people who like of phase Ethan in Show. I always saw this period as the time in which Brian really realized the importance of Justin in his life and admitted to himself how much he loved Justin. I believe that after reunification, their relationship would mature and become all that we expected, if Cowlip had allowed and not push in the fifth season. But unfortunately it was not how it happened.

I really liked the way you worked the time when Brian recognized his feelings and how Justin felt when he went out with Ethan of  Babylon. It would have been great if we could have seen it on the show.

Great idea! A good story! I hope to see more moments like this in the next chapters.

A big hug!

Fatima Klayn.

Author's Response:

Thank you, so glad you liked it. I am also one of the few people who liked all the Ethan drama. I didn't want to demonize him, but write what he may really be like. Keep reading!

Well, my not-so-good memory precludes me from recalling exactly what I said before - ha!  But glad you reposted this.  I do wish Brian had been more open like this toward Justin on the show, but I guess they both had some growing up to do.;)  Will be looking forward to the next part of this.  Let me know if I can be of any help.  *Hugs*  ~Kim
