Looks like Justin obeyed his rules this time. Kudos for paying attention to the fact that Justin broke the rules he insisted on for their relationship. A lot of people seem to overlook that. Brian eavesdropping and almost dying of jealousy was still amusing. Loving this story so far.

What a wonderful chapter, my friend!
The vision of the past Brian is always welcome and enlightening and best of all is that Michael is not in the picture. And the almost-kiss was much more intense if the kiss had really happened. I just hope Brian realize the risk they're running for being so stubborn in resisting her feelings for Justin.

I like Justin getting an insight in to Brian's life before he meet Michael. BM (before Michael); Hilarious. So does that mean Debbie has a BC and Michael has an AD?

And the poor guy (Justin) doesn't realize a certain brunet saw the whole thing, or maybe he would have gone through with it as a sort of "see, I can do it, too!" type of move.;) But you will see in the next chapter that Brian and Liam do have a discussion about a certain blond, and how pigheaded Brian is being. :)

Justin doesn't seem very trustworthy. He was about to kiss Brian's very own cousin after Brian had already accused him of sharing the wealth. I can see why Brian is making him earn his trust.
Author's Response: Hi, Sandra - thank you once more for reading, and for your comments. I think I will have to respectfully disagree with you on this one.:) I look at it totally differently. Liam was about to kiss HIM, and made the move to do so; I looked at it as Justin proving his heart belonged to Brian when he turned his head to avoid kissing his cousin. Also, he could have proven his point to Brian by spending the night with Liam somewhere else, rather than coming back to the loft in full view of him. Granted, Liam is a very attractive guy, and Justin is not made of stone, so I could seem him briefly tempted to pursue a relationship, albeit a temporary one, with him. But at the last moment, he had a decision to make, and I think he made the right choice. Because when it's all said and done, despite how exasperating Brian can be, he still loves the guy, and your heart doesn't always do what your brain thinks it should do.;)
So I hope you don't mind if I look at this chapter differently; at least, that's the angle I was writiing it from. That being said, I still hope you're enjoying this story, and will stick around for the rest. Thanks again for the the feedback! *Hugs* ~Kim

Author's Response: Hi, Tamara! LOL - I figured as much.;) In the end, I just couldn't do it, although in a way Brian might have deserved it. Except...as he mused about earlier, it wasn't HIM who broke the 'no kissing anyone else on the lips' rule (except with Michael, which I think says loads about how he does - and doesn't - feel about him. Something always bothered me about that, though, how he kissed him!). Anyway, I think our brunet will be starting to come around in the next chapter. ;)
