I'm glad that Brian asked himself if he enjoyed hurting Justin. It is one thing for Justin to tolerate the tricks, but another for Brian to humiliate him. No one should put up with that. You are doing a great job of showing both Brian's and Justin's fears and insecurities. Your writing is so good.

Author's Response:

Aww...thank you so much, Kacey! Thank you for your kind words, and for reading this story; I am very happy that you are enjoying it.  I hope you enjoy the rest of it.;)  Brian will have to do some groveling eventually to reunite the two of them before his cousin steals a certain blond out from under him.;) Thanks again for choosing to read this story; I deeply appreciate that. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Great chapter! My favourite line in this was "Share the wealth amoung families?" That had me ROFL'ing. Without a doubt the very kind of thing Brian would say. And as I said before, he is being incredibly unfair on Justin. Will wait to see what happens now.

Justin is doing a little reexamining of his relationship.  Good for him to review.

"Well...it's not exactly a tourist attraction, but..." oh, please let it be Babylon's backroom.  I'm sure Liam would like to take the tour of Brian's home away from home. LOL  Okay, just so you know, I'm hoping for L/J hook up; fingers crossed as I read the next chapter.  Pleeeeease.

Cheers :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Flossee! Thanks for reading, and for the comments. I thought about the two of them hooking up, and perhaps it would have served Brian right.  But I figured if I did that, especially with one of Brian's family, it would be a lot harder to reconcile the boys, and you know I'm a trued dyed-in-the-wool B/J person.  As you already saw in the next chapter, I just couldn't do that to him.;)  Thanks again for the feedback!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Tsk, Tsk, Tsk... Temper, Temper, Temper...

Now their both left to contemplate what they mean to each other...

Later Darling ~ Kathleen

Author's Response:

Hi, Kathleen! Thanks for reading, and for your comments.  I think the two cousins will be having a heart-to-heart coming up in the next part  Perhaps Liam can finally get through to a certain, bullheaded man where no one else has been able to.;) I should have the next part up today or tomorrow. Thank you for the feedback!  It is much appreciated.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

"You're just doing this because of that trick I brought home, aren't you?"

"Remember - I know exactly what to expect from you!”

“Just what was he trying to prove? What was the point?”

“He had been honest with Justin from the beginning about their relationship, or lack thereof…”

“Do you prefer having your needs met instead by someone like my cousin, who apparently isn't interested in a long-term relationship?"

Heavy questions. It was those very questions that rolled through my head several times during my contemplations over that period in the series. I believe it was a turning point in their non-relationship. Somehow, you’re done a wonderful, non-judgmental approach to that tumultuous time. I’m looking forward to read your answers to those questions or at least Brian’s continued jealousy. I always love your Brian-jealous fics and this one is excellent!

Author's Response:

Hi, Sandra!  As always, I love it when you indicate which parts you enjoyed the most.;)  Thank you for being so thoughtful.;)  I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought about those issues.  Yes, Justin IMO definitely had some culpability in not being straightforward with Brian about sneaking around, and I can understand how Brian could prevent himself from being so open about his feelings after the type of parents he had. But I still think that despite his strength Justin needed that validation of Brian's feelings.  Hopefully in this AU story I can make that happen, but in a believable way.

Thank you for your kind words about my stories, and for reading, Sandra. Will get the next part up later today.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hi Kim love this new story. You've got Jealous!Brian in this and that is without a doubt one of my favorite Brians. I feel bad for justin though as I guessed you've set this in season three after they got back together. Season three is my favorite season of the series so this is just lovely to me. Really liking Liam as an OC too he was so sweet the way he was flirting with Justin. DSort of hoping something happens between he and Jus because it would serve Brian right.

Looking forward to more. HAve a feeling I'll be reading all new chaoters with a smile on my face!!

Well done!

:)

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend! So great to hear from you.;)  Hope you and Buddy are doing well.;)  I do adore a jealous Brian myself, and always loved it when that part of him peeked through on the show.  Still remember him removing Emmett's hands from around Justin at the car before Craig showed up.;)  Since this is an AU, it WILL be veering from canon past Ep 308, so it will not exactly follow how the show went. That way, I can play around a little with the boys.;) Thanks so much for reading, and for your comments! I should have the next part up later today.;)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Kim:

Very inriguing story.  I can't wait to read the rest. So glad it is complete so I won't have to wait.  I wonder if Brian will admit to himself and Justin just how he feels and if Justin will stop allowing Brian to make all the rules.  I know it is based in canon but a girl can always hope

Author's Response:

Hi, Sandy! Thank you for reading this story, and for your comments.;)  I think you may be on the right track here.:)  Liam is going to help in his own way to straighten his cousin out.;)  (In a manner of speaking - ha!).  Should have the next part up later today. Thanks again for the feedback!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I'm really liking Liam.  Maybe he can help Justin in figuring out where he stands with Brian.  He does seem to want to help.

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie - sorry I overlooked your review! Thank you for continuing to read this one.  I agree; Liam is obviously interested in Justin, but he's actually a decent guy, and is just perplexed over exactly what their relationship is (so is Justin, for that matter - LOL!).  I do think Liam will not only be of help to Justin, but to his cousin as well. I see a heart-to-heart coming up between the two cousins.:)  I should have the next chaper to this up sometime this evening. Thanks again for reading! I greatly appreciate that.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Sorry! I missed some spelling-guess I am too tired to type-just got off two doubles. lol

Author's Response:

Eek! Go get some much-deserved rest, my friend.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Well! that was a fine how do you do. Justin always defends Brian and Brian most always treas Jus like crap. Liam is the catalyst to make things happen between them. It will be inbteresting to see how this plays out. Everyone says hello and I am reading this one to the listeners as I love it with the twist being Liam. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, dear friend!  You know how much I always look forward to your comments.  Please tell everyone that I said hello, too, and give them my love (why do I hear that ep where Brian tells Justin his mother sends his love, and to be in bed by 11?  LOL!).  And yes, I agree. I think Brian will have to do some soul-searching here, and his cousin just might be the one to make him see things in a different light.  I hope everyone continues to enjoy this one, lindc.  Thank you as always for all the support.  The encouagement all of you give me is so motivating to me. I should have the next part up tomorrow.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Am I terrible that I want Justin and Liam to hook up and make Brian pay for his shitiness?  Sometimes he needs a good, hard slap of reality - or rather a taste of his own medicine ;)

Author's Response:

Hi, Fray - thanks for the comments.  LOL! I know the feeling; if it helps, he will have some soul-searching to do - as well as his imagination running amok - until this gets resolved.  BTW, I'm glad you thought Brian was IC for the other chapter. Wasn't too sure of that. I DO think he will have to slowly transform somewhat toward the end of the story, though, because I just can't keep him as a total asshole.;)

I hope you continue to enjoy the story. Thanks for reading, and for the feedback.  ~Kim

Liam needs to be a little more perceptive. Justin seems very hurt, I hope he doesn't do anything impulsive that will cause problems with Brian.

Author's Response:

Hi, Lorie! Thank you for continuing to read, and for the comments!  Do not worry; you know where my heart - and Justin's - lies.  I'll make sure the boys are happy before I'm done.  I should be able to post the next chapter tomorow, which will involve more of a heart-to-heart talk with Justin and Brian's cousin.  Thanks again for the feedback!  *Hug*  ~Kim

I drove home so fast when I saw u updated so I can get comfy to read it I always love your stories and seeing a jealous Brian always gets me excited keep up the great work can't wait for another update

Author's Response:

Hi, Bridget!  I consider that a great compliment that you wanted to hurry home to read this. You're very kind.;)  Thank you for reading and for the feedback!  I, too, love a jealous Brian.  I think a certain proud, stubborn man will have to eat a little crow before this is all over with.  I should be able to post the next update sometime tomorrow. Thanks again for the support, and especially for the comments!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hey, dear Kim!

You are master in the provocation, is not it?

But I can only agree that Brian deserves all this and is reaping what he sowed.

A hug, my friend!

Fatima.

Author's Response:

Olá, Fátima! Sim, Brian nem sempre pensar antes de falar. Eu acho que o amor de Justin para ele impedirá Brian de perdê-lo. Obrigado por seus comentários, meu amigo. By the way, eu estou trabalhando no último capítulo de sua história. Eu deveria ser capaz de enviar mais para você o que eu tenho em breve. * Hugs * ~ Kim

Emjpyed the 2 latest chapters.  Wonder if we will see a Liam vs Brian battle for Justin?

Author's Response:

Hi, Bill! Thanks for letting me know you're enjoying this story, my friend.  Hmm...I actually wouldn't mind seeing that, but I suspect a certain blond's heart is already stolen by a bull-headed brunet. We don't always do what our logic tells us we should do when we're in love. That being said, though, that doesn't mean that Brian shouldn't have to do a little groveling.;) I should be able to post the next part tomorrow. Thanks so much for your comments!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Okay Kim it's time I pull out my flogger and punish you for being such a tease ;) I must admit though, that in light of the events that are taking place, Brian is starting to see the error of his ways and Liam is starting to realize how fruitless his attempts to have Justin really are.

Author's Response:

Hi, Tamara - I know.  Bad Kim, bad Kim, very evil!  I do think it's time for Brian to stew for a while, though, don't you?;)  At least your torment will be eased when I post the next part; not so sure about Brian, however.;)  Thank you for bearing with me.  I promise to answer the question of where the two men went probably tomorrow.  *Hugs*  ~Kim
