Your stories always gave me such of wonderful feelings - warmth, love and peace.
Every time I got pissed off with something Brian did, I re-read one of them.
Now I'm smiling :-)

Thank you, Kim

Wow, what a story!!   As much as I was not a fan of Liam in the beginning, he reluctantly became a "friend" to Justin and to Brian as well in his attempt to get him to finally admit his feelings towards Justin.  And get through to him, he did.    After realizing what he may have lost in the week Justin stayed away, he did a total 180 and became a true parter to him.

Author's Response:

Hi, Sarah!  I was responding to a recent review, and noticed that somehow I never received notification of yours. I'm so sorry for not answering it!  But I still want to thank you for reading, and especially for taking the time to comment. I really liked this story too. I loved Brian and Justin talking in Daphne's house. They finally made their feelings clear. I liked Brian's changed behavior. And I loved the whole story. Thank you very much for this experience.<br />Thank you very much for this pleasant feeling. I finished my reading with a smile on my face.

Author's Response:

Hi, Juditka!  Thank you for reading this story, and especially for taking the time to leave feedback.  A lot of times, especially, on the older stories readers don't do that, so I truly appreciate it. And I love a jealous Brian - ha!  Thanks again for the support and encouragement.  ~Kim

I'm glad that Brian asked himself if he enjoyed hurting Justin. It is one thing for Justin to tolerate the tricks, but another for Brian to humiliate him. No one should put up with that. You are doing a great job of showing both Brian's and Justin's fears and insecurities. Your writing is so good.

Author's Response:

Aww...thank you so much, Kacey! Thank you for your kind words, and for reading this story; I am very happy that you are enjoying it.  I hope you enjoy the rest of it.;)  Brian will have to do some groveling eventually to reunite the two of them before his cousin steals a certain blond out from under him.;) Thanks again for choosing to read this story; I deeply appreciate that. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Reviewer: Kacey (Anonymous) · Date: January 28, 2015 02:35 AM · On: The Ball Is In Whose Court?

That was harsh, Brian (he is so jealous). Whatever are you going to say to Justin out on the sidewalk? I'm glad Justin looked away instead of suffering another of Brian's smirks. I'm getting the sense that Justin is not going to put up with much more of this behavior.

Reviewer: Kacey (Anonymous) · Date: January 25, 2015 11:52 PM · On: A Not So Welcome Mandate

I know that when B&J reconciled that Justin said he knew what he could expect of Brian, which I suppose was his way of saying he would tolerate the tricks, but it still seemed out of character for him to put up with essentially being tossed out of bed for the "11:00". I never thought of penance as his reason, but this makes sense to me (at least in the short term), especially in someone as young as Justin. This story looks very interesting. Looking forward to the next chapter.

BTW, wanted to say Hi after all this time. It has been a tough three years. I can see that you've been busy with writing, which is great.

Author's Response:

Hi, Kacey - Hello back! Good to hear from you again.;)  I do hope you enjoy this story, and any other ones I have written in your absence. Yes, I am still plugging away, and still love writing about these guys.;)  I'm sorry to hear it's been hard for you this past three years; I hope the coming ones are a lot better for you, and I hope in some small way that reading my stories will help just a bit.

Thanks for reading this one, and for your comments! I deeply appreciate that.;)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Great ending, lol, Justin and his stomach.  I love that Brian went the old traditional route - 'the way to a man's heart is through his stomach'.  :P

Liam was an interesting OC and I enjoyed him very much, not the least because of how he scared Brian into declairing himself to his blonde.

Thanks for another great read!

Author's Response:

Thank you, again, for choosing to read my stories and for all the comments!  That is so motivating to me. I enjoyed writing Liam, and tormenting Brian just a bit.;)  Sometimes he needs a little nudge, although I think both he AND Justin made some mistakes along the way, just like with every relationship.  Thanks again for all the feedback, Michelle.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Haha! What a fantastic, beautiful, heart-warming and hilarious ending! Any more chocolate stawberries, LMFAO. I have absolutely LOVED this story. Definitely well worth using up my phone data and staying up into the small hours to read. Your writing style is light-hearted, cute and very very funny. Still smiling and chuckling here at some of those priceless lines you threw in. Yes, I really loved this! Well done!

Reviewer: Dido_MagnaCarta (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2014 02:16 AM · On: Laid Bare

That is SO cute! I just can't... Adorable! Well done! I like Justin standing his ground and asking for more than he was being handed down. I now realize that the cavalier fashion Brian treated him from 3x09 onwards in so soon after their reconciliation makes it a little pointless that they even "made up" at all. The ending of this rectified that. Very lovely. And Biran secretly thanking his cousin for helping out- very cute and egenrous of him.

Reviewer: Dido_MagnaCarta (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2014 01:54 AM · On: Confidantes and the Painful Truth

The Brian and Liam interaction is simply priceless, just as I predicted. Too many awesome lines: "You think its wise to get plastered just before you catch your flight?" was brilliant. Liam is such an adorable kid deep down. A decent guy who does what is right. I love him speaking to BRian to get him to see that this pretend nonchalance isn't working. What's going to happen next?

Author's Response:

Thank you for continuing to read and review! I'm loving all the comments about which parts you're enjoying.;)  I'm dying to write another light-hearted story; so much angst in mine lately!  Hopefully soon I can do that.;)  Thanks again for all the feedback! *Hugs*  ~Kim

Looks like Justin obeyed his rules this time. Kudos for paying attention to the fact that Justin broke the rules he insisted on for their relationship. A lot of people seem to overlook that. Brian eavesdropping and almost dying of jealousy was still amusing. Loving this story so far.

Reviewer: Dido_MagnaCarta (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2014 01:33 AM · On: Do As I Say, Not As I Do

Great chapter! My favourite line in this was "Share the wealth amoung families?" That had me ROFL'ing. Without a doubt the very kind of thing Brian would say. And as I said before, he is being incredibly unfair on Justin. Will wait to see what happens now.

Reviewer: Dido_MagnaCarta (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2014 01:25 AM · On: The Ball Is In Whose Court?

Almost crying with laughter. Brian and Liam- I can jsut tell these scenes are going to be priceless. Now I have a real gripe with Brian- whilst it is established that he can fuck any tricks, the sight of Justin flirting gets his blood boiling? Hypocrisy, as Justin noted in the chapter beforehand. Although it is kind of weird now Justin knows who Liam is. But then again, it was only flirting which s more than can be said for Brian, so why the fuss? It's not like Justin actually knew who he was (although I think he should have at least suspecte- but that it is just me. I am a detective story junkie!) Poor Justin.

Reviewer: Dido_MagnaCarta (Signed) · Date: August 23, 2014 01:14 AM · On: Cue the Complications

So isn't Liam Brian's cousin? If so, there could be some major competition. Now, I can see why Justin doesn't recognize him, but something should have clicked at least! Irish accent, for a start? LOL. Onto the next chapter, it seems. Nice instalment.

Author's Response:

Well, it is Irish night.  I think Justin's expecting someone totally different.;)  But yes, things are about to get complicated.;)  Poor Brian - LOL! Thanks again for choosing to read this one! *Hugs*  ~Kim

Very very funny. I am going to enjoy continuing with this one a lot. I lvoe your Brian in particular and his shamless assault on his cousin's looks. It would be hilarious if said cousin turned out to e really hot or something! I can't wait for him to be introduced. Glad to see the reunion and dynamic between Brian and his mother; some very sweet lines in there- especially about him wishing his parents could just be proud of him instead of fixating on the supposed evil of his sexuality. Very lovely touch there. Another hint of attention to detail was Justin almost walking out thinking Brian was having an 11:00 turning up, and Brian eager to keep him as always. Loved that ending. Was laughing pretty loudly during much of this chapter, at around 11pm at night. Great stuff.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! I'm delighted that you're enjoying it so far.  I always felt bad for Justin when Brian told him he had an 11:00 coming, although I guess it was his way of reasserting himself in the relationship.  BTW, you just might get your wish about Brady.;)  I do enjoying tormenting Brian for a while - ha! Thanks again for reading, and for the feedback. It is greatly appreciated. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hi, Kim! I was so happy to return and to see this story almost completed. I was so excited to start reading, and when I did, as always I just couldn’t stop!

I usually wary of original characters, but I loved yours. Liam is great, now that is the man with ‘no bullshit’ policy. Unlike Brian, he was constantly honest – about his attraction to Justin, about wanting to take him to dinner, about Brian being stupid and cowardish in his intentions to keep Justin hanging. He was such an asshole in here sometimes, I just wanted to smack him! He obviously loves Justin deeply, their connection felt so strong, and yet Brian all but almost lost him, thanks to his fear to commit completely.

Brian’s jealousy – ah, my favorite topic, and you’re fantastic at writing it! It’s almost funny, Brian thinks it’s okay for him to trick, to throw tricks into Justin’s face, but when he just sees Justin with someone else, he’s instantly suspicious and angry.  Like when he saw him with Liam. Jealous Brian is an asshole Brian, the one who seeks to hurt first. It must have been so insulting for Justin – when Brian acted like they are just some acquaintances! Liam didn’t even realize what they were to each other at first, Brian was being so cold and distant. I was surprised Justin didn’t tell him to just fuck off – personally I was furious at that point. But when Brian actually came for Justin, I melted. Finally he was able to say the right words, to behave like a man instead of a scared child. I wish we could see your story on TV!:) I’d love that!

Epilogue was great, I like how much of an impact Liam has made on Justin and Brian. He really helped them – who knows where all of this would have gone if it hadn’t been for him? I also love the fact that Brian is still so jealous. And that Justin isn’t afraid anymore to push him. The happiness they felt was palpable, I myself now feel so relaxed, so alive and content! Thank you, it was a wonderful story! I truly loved it! No surprise here, of course :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Katrin! As always, I'm so delighted when you choose to read one of my stories and reply. Thank you for your kind words!  I also love a jealous Brian myself, and what better way to do that than to use his own cousin against him as a rival?  Of course, you know I would never let these boys stay apart for very long.  Thank you again for all the support, Katrin. I'm trying to finish up a story for the challenge, but not sure if I will make it in time. Will do my best, though.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Sorry! I am really late with this review--very busy. Had to help out in another hospital auto accidents put them in need mode. Trauma unit way over used not enough nurses or trauma drs there. What a cluster f--k. Sorry but that is my take on the last few days. I did, however get to see Queen and my boyAdam--what a show, just love him to death what an entetrtainer and what a voice. Was in seventh heaven for two hours. This story ended so good-was so happy that Jus is happy. Hopefully you will finish Lee's story before he has a major heart attack. Ha! enjoy your trip to see Randy's movie. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, lindc! Well, I wouldn't want Lee to suffer that! :) I know, I desperately need to update that. Will be working hard on doing that shortly, so tell him I hope he'll bear with me a little longer.  As you've already figured out, today is the LA premiere for "Such Good People," and while Randy can't attend due to his schedule, I am still very much looking forward to finally seeing it.  Should have a post about it on my LJ afterward, too.  Can't believe the after-party is only two doors down from my hotel room, too!  What luck!  I can stumble back plastered afterward - ha!  (Just kidding).

Thank you as always fo reading my stories, and for your comments, my friend. And please tell everyone I said hello and send my love.  I'm glad you got to see Adam and Queen together; I'm sure that was amazing!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Congratulations my friend, for another wonderful story. I love how Brian shows his love for Justin. Who said Brian knows not to be romantic?

I love how you can demonstrate in their stories as Brian loves Justin. And jealousy is always welcome in their stories. I love every one of them. His stories are always on top of my favorite stories and this story became more one of them.

Many hugs, my friend.

Fátima.

Loved the chapter, Kim!

You could show Brian and Justin so adorable together at the scene of breakfast. You know how I like to see Brian and Justin interacting intimate and comfortable as you could describe this scene.

The discovery that Liam is gay for Joan was phenomenal. "Oh, I showed him the sights, all right." This is so typical of Brian! Loved it! Does Liam's family is as homophobic as Joan?

I was glad Liam and Justin maintain a friendship. Justin is very irresistible to men Kinney and Liam,  unfortunately for him, can only be satisfied with the friendship of Justin.

Great chapter, my friend! Loved every line.

Many hugs, Fatima.

hey - read your whole story - and love it, of course

I especially loved the way Brian grew, without the 180 that would have changed  him into someone he is not...but learned that Justin didn't really need the grand gestures...its the small, thought out moments that count

also really liked the Liam character - wouldn't mind a re-visit from him sometime...but not necessarily to come between our boys (although you know a jealous Brian can be very sexy - and get very creative and possesive and just plain hot!)

good read - it was like catching up with a friend who has been away - hope all is well in RL and that it won't be long until you share more great story for us to enjoy - thanks for this one

Charle

Author's Response:

Hi, Charle! Always so great to hear from you, my friend.;)  Thank you for reading, and for your thoughtful comments.  I agree with you about Brian; I think he CAN make changes - and did, to a certain extent on the show, although I think Season 5 was kind of out there with the 'for my prince' comment - but there is such a thing as too much of a change too soon. And I think he would always do it in his own inimitable way.;)  So glad you enjoyed this. Thank you so much for the support.  RL is going okay for now - father passed away in early May, and that has been very difficult.  But things are slowly getting better. Will always miss him terribly, though.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hey Kim

I thought Brian was going to show Justin how much he loves him by eating the chicken parmesan after 7pm. :D

"My compliments to the un-chef" oh, this reminds me of "The Unbirthday Song" and now it is stuck in my head and it is entirely your fault. Haha

Thank you for finishing this Kim and although it was late for St Patrick's Day I still think it should be in that category since it does include St Patrick's Day celebrations.  Yes, I know you will be the only author in that category x 2. Haha

Cheers :)

You know, as touching as the entire chapter was, it was the last few lines about the strawberries that got me the most.  It just seemed so...them.  I know it's probably weird because of all the nice, fluffy stuff that came before - which was also great by the way - but for some reason those last four lines really stuck to me.

Lovely story, and I love how Brian said he will never take Justin for granted. They both deserve a happy relationship, and Liam is a surprisingl charming character.

PS: I love how Justin has to make sure if there's any chocolate strawberries left hahha

This was a perfect ending, except for Brady. And it was a nice touch to have Joan guest star again.

Well done! :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Sandra!  As always, I'm grateful for your comments and for reading.;) Actually, it's not quite done just yet; I have a short epilogue to post. Have to polish it up a little and go over it first, though, before I'm done.  Thanks again for the support!  *Hugs*  ~

Wow, Brian's double entendre "Oh, I showed him the sights, all right." was funny and I was hoping that's how he would handle the whole conversation with Joan, and hopefully he wouldn't tell her about Liam's sexual orientation as Liam comes from a small town and he may not be out to the townsfolk (OMG, how old does that word make me sound, lol) or his parents.

"But Justin prefers the best, and he loves me" that is just so BK sweet.

I love Liam and Justin's phone conversation.  I still wouldn't have minded if they had a little private time together before they had found out who each other was. LOL   I know, I'm a terrible J/B cheer squad; however I always want them to end up together. :D  Also, I have double standards as Brian can't be with anyone else only Justin.  Haha

I'm looking forward to the epilogue.

Cheers :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Flossee - thank you for reading, and continuing to leave feedback; I really appreciate that.  I have to admit, the line about showing Liam the "sights' was one of my favorites, too.;)  And, yes, I toyed with continuing Liam and Justin's relationship - that would have been very hard for Brian to take due to it being his own cousin - but I intended on this one not being a very long one, and ultimately decided not to go that route. Maybe one day, though.;)

Will have a short epilogue coming up very soon. Thanks again for the comments.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Love how Brian knows the way to Justin is through his stomach.  lol.  The call from Joan was an eye opener - for Joanie.  I wonder if she calls Liam's parents and tells them what she's learn?  I wonder if they know?

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  Yes, that will come up again in the epilogue.;)  I could see Justin waking up to food, couldn't you? LOL!  Don't think I will really go into detailabout Liam coming out to his parents, or I'll be writing this forever - ha!  But thank you for continuing to read and leave feedback; I appreciate that so much.  Will have the last part up very soon.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Now girl, you know you can't successfully end this epilogue in one chapter. HA! I read your review of Atomic. Sounds like you had fun. Does your nephew like Randy? Do you know if Randy's moviue will be released in the u.s. We all want to see it. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, Lindc!  Yes, you know me way too well.  Don't know when to quit!  As for Atomic, my nephew has enjoyed it - THREE times!  What a good sport. I had about given up getting to speak with Randy, but lo and behold, we found him yesterday before the show (a Twitter friend and I), and we managed to get a pic.  TBH he did not seem very happy about it, but still agreed to it. Do wish he would spend just a little more time with his fans. Sigh.  But he DID enjoy the cheese, and I know he got it. I was happy about that.  Will post on LJ about it soon.  As for Randy's movie, I know it's being released in more locations coming up, but so far it has been strictly film festivals. I will finally get to see it on July 7, and I understand it's coming to my neck of the woods in the fall, too.  Can't wait to see it on the big screen!

Oh, and tell Lee I visited one of his favorite places today:  the Bethesda Fountain at Central Park. I thought of him today.  Tell everyone I said hello, and send them my love.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Such a kleenex worthy chapter my friend! I love how Brian is making a real effort to be emotionally available to Justin. Brian more or less understands what's truly at stake now if he isn't able to open himself up just a little.

I'll admit that I almost wet my pants reading Joan's reaction to Liam being queer...hilarious Lol. I can't wait for the epilogue now, hopefully you will be able to update soon ;)

Author's Response:

Hi, Tamara! Thanks for much for reading this latest part, and for your comments.;)  I'm glad you liked it. Brian will continue to make progress toward showing how much he loves and appreciates his boy in the last part/epilogue, which I should have up very soon.  Thank you again, my friend, for the support.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi, Susan - thanks for your kind comments, my friend!  So glad you're enjoying this one, and that you like my version of the boys.:)  I pretty much have the epilogue done, but need to look it over first.  Going to see Randy in "Atomic" tonight, though (so excited!), so I may not get it posted for a couple of days. Author's Response:

Hi, Marny! So good to hear from you, my friend. And I'm happy that you're enjoying this one. I wasn't really going to do an epilogue, so I didn't have that part finished. But I DO have almost all of it done, so it should be posted in the next day or so.  Right now, I am in NYC, about to imbibe in a little 'Randy adoration.'  I'm here to see him tomorrow in his new play with my nephew; can't wait!  So that may delay it just a teensie bit, but I think you will forgive me for the reason.;)

Author's Response:

Hi, Jackie.;)  Yeah, actually I think that's the hardest part at times, because it's so difficult to write Brian's emotions while still trying to progress his character maturity wise.  Maybe that's why that last season was so odd. LOVED the ILU after the fire; I could actually see that. And while I'm  a sap for romance, that 'for my prince' seemed off to me (although I loved the line - sigh...). Stupid placement and Uni and life. But I finish my first year of Uni tomorrow, so I'll have plenty of time for reading and reviewing. :)

Go Liam for finally making Brian realise what was right in front of his nose. And yay! Brian for finally deciding to do something about it.

(Also, I'm loving the english-isms you've used, even though mate is more of an english, rather than irish, thing.)

Author's Response:

Hi, Niikki! I wish Brian could admit his feelings without feeling like they don't matter or would be used against him.

Author's Response:

Hi, Lorie  - thank you for reading and for the comments; I really appreciate that. :)  I'm not sure if this is a case where his feelings would be used against him; I just think Justin needs to know where he stands with him before he recommits to him.  I think Brian HAS tended to not open up to his friends and family about how he feels, because he has never really had the right type of role model to allow him to do that.

I do hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the story. Thank you again for the feedback! I should the last part up either tonight or tomorrow.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

"There're also a lot of reasons why I WOULD stay with you,"

The title to this chapter was very appropriate. Once Justin answered Brian’s question about what he saw in him, I got a clearer picture of Justin’s feelings and reasons for wanting Brian. I often thought that it was more infatuation than love. You’ve done a nice job of spelling out why it was so much more.

Author's Response:

Hi, Sandra! As always, I'm grateful for you reading and reviewing, and I'm glad you liked the title chapter. I try to come up with names for them that are relevant.  Personally, I prefer that writers have names for their chapters, partly because if I have to catch up on a story it normally helps me to remember where I left off.   I hadn't really thought about how much trouble he could get his nephew into after he accused him of such awful things, but I do think there are a lot of reasons that Brian could be loved for what he did - and didn't do.

I should have the last part up either today or tomorrow. Thank you for all the feedback; much appreciated.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Reviewer: JAZZEPOET (Signed) · Date: June 23, 2014 01:33 PM · On: Laid Bare

This was a fantastic chapter and I absolutely love how strong Justin was. Brian needed to hear that him coming back meant no more hiding or making Justin guess about how he feels or what they mean to each other.

Justin also needed to take the time to reflect on why Brian may have treated him in such a manner. Deep down he knew that insecurity played a big part in why Brian was so ambiguous about how he felt...Brian truly didn't understand what was so great about him besides his cock, that made Justin want to stay after that first night.

You brought up a very interesting point, Brian could have gotten his nephew in deep shit for those vicious lies he was spreading, broken David and Mikey up for good, or any number of other things to uphold his asshole persona but in the end he always does the right thing...and you have given us a perfect example of that here my friend :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Tamara! So glad you enjoyed this chapter.  I always struggle somewhat when I'm trying to write about this sort of discussion, so I'm glad you liked it.;)  I do think it was important that they lay their 'cards out on the table' here.  How I wish that I had happened to some extent on the show, but then again, I guess it was also part of how their relationship matured eventually.

Will try to post the epilogue later today.  Thanks again for taking the time to read, and for all your comments.  They are greatly appreciated.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

‘throw-everything-where-ever-it-landed habit,' oh great I'm not the only one then. :D

It looks like Liam should get a great big thank you from both these men.   From Brian because he finally realizes what he has and from Justin because he finally got to drive the jeep.  lol

Bring on the update, pleeeeeeeeases.

Cheers :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Flossee!  Thanks for being my 100th reviewer.;) And thanks for the good wishes.;)  I'm the same way, BTW; my jewelry box can be five feet away, and yet I STILL will place my earrings down somewhere else - ha!  I'm trying not to use the word 'slob' in this sentence, but...LOL!  I try....

I wasn't really going to write an epilogue after I wrote this initially, but I decided to after thinking there was a bit more that I could say.  So there will be one coming up. Hope to get it posted later today, but if not should be tomorrow. Then I have to finally get back to my WIPs. I'm a little disappointed as it looks like you are winding up this fic.  It has been thoroughly enjoyable to watch Brian squirm as Liam makes a play for his man. :D   I like the fact Liam had to remind Brian that he could actually go and see Justin in person, lol, what have our lives become?  I'd say hurry back, but then it might all be over so now I'm in a quandary; oh, I know, hurry back if it's not the final chapter. :D

Cheers :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Flossee!  Had me worried with that 'I'm a little disappointed' beginning until I read the next part of it - thought you were disappointed with the story; very relieved - LOL! And yes, it will probably be wrapped up in the next part, unless I write an epilogue. Have to get back to my WIPs, and have started on a challenge story, although even with the extension, I'm not sure I'll get it finished; hopefully.

Thanks so much for reading, and for your comments. They are greatly appreciated.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

"Struck out, eh, Brady?"

“If you don't get your head out of your ass and see what's right in front of you, you're going to LOSE that boy.”

“As much as he loves you, he is too amazing a person to stick around and be your perpetual whipping dog."

“But I can tell he's trying to repair what he did. You, however, are NOT making it easy on him."

“And I don't think Justin's talents include being a mind reader."

“Chances were, also, that whoever it was, Brian had had him first anyway.”

"You're worth it."

Oh, what a difference a little sleep makes! I submitted the last review and then thought about that Brady was the one making the advance, not Justin – who, sequentially, made like a bat out of Hell. I was too sleepy to delete it and figured I would get around to correcting my error later but it didn’t happen. Nevertheless, Justin was not at fault. I haven’t read your complete response only because it would be a moot point. I totally agree and this chapter continues to prove that point. 

There were so many poignant things stated in this chapter that I nearly quoted it in entirety. I could see the friendly competition between the cousins and at the same time I could see how much Liam cared for and looked up to Brian. Liam was able to point out the relationship objectively. I think Brian’s friends were too close to the situation and some a little too biased, no matter how well meaning. Even Daphne was Justin’s best friend, but a little infatuated with Brian. It was nice having a different perspective from someone who didn’t witness the breakup. I loved that Liam pointed out that basically, even if Justin could read minds, that it’s nice to be told. One of the biggest arguments I’ve heard is that Justin should have known how Brian felt, but even without PSTD or a brain injury, it seemed ambiguous, especially with Brian trying to maintain his legendary image.

I often wondered about the 11’oclock trick and all it signified and why. It did seem like Brian was punishing Justin because of Ethan, but since Brian tricking in his face was a vital reason why Justin left in the first place, it only seemed natural that Justin eventually left again.

Liam telling Brian that he deserved Justin was very enlightening. I always theorized that Brian’s parents had done severe damage to Brian’s self-esteem no matter how he appeared to his many admirers. Did Brian really feel worthy of love or a relationship?
I loved that line about Brian having all Liam’s tricks first, so I had to include it. ;)

Lastly, even though my last review was a mistake, please don’t hesitate to continue disagree with anything I’ve written here. I love seeing different opinions and perspectives.

Great thought-provoking chapter!
Sandra:)

PS: Is there any way you could edit without deleting the entire review?

Author's Response:

Hi, Sandra! No worries.;) I'm just glad you're continuing to read.;  And, as always, I'm grateful for your thoughtful comments.  BTW, I agree with you about Brian and his childhood. I really think he wasn't taught how to love growing up, and that's why he has so much trouble expressing his love for Justin. Thank God for Debbie! Loved that woman on the show.;)

I will have the boys' talk coming up in the next chapter. Thanks again, Sandra. I appreciate your support.*Hugs*  ~Kim

P.S. To answer your question, as an admin I CAN edit review comments. But it's fine; I did not take offense at all with your response.;)  It's not a problem.:)

Author's Response:

Hi,  Bill!  Thank you for reading this latest chapter, and for the feedback, my friend.;  You will be getting your wish. A certain, stubborn brunet will at last be speaking to a certain, stubborn blond.;  Time will tell, though, how long it will take to come to a resolution.;)

What a wonderful chapter, my friend!

The vision of the past Brian is always welcome and enlightening and best of all is that Michael is not in the picture. And the almost-kiss was much more intense if the kiss had really happened. I just hope Brian realize the risk they're running for being so stubborn in resisting her feelings for Justin.

Hugs, my dear!

Did Brian forget how to drive, or where Daphne lives? Why did he have to be told to go find him if he wouldn't answer his phone? Great writing, dumb Brian. :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Lorie!  LOL!  Yeah, Brian doesn't always think too clearly sometimes.;)  I think both men are being stubborn here.  And when Brian goes to speak with him, I think that will continue, at least initially. Hopefully, though, they will finally start clearing the air, and then we can all get to the makeup sex.;)

I'm loving Liam.  He's Brian without all the hangups and he tells it like it is.  Wonder what Joanie would think if she knew that Cousin Brady batted for the same team as her son.  She married a man whose family producted two queers.  LOL.  Hopefully Liam's parting words have a positive effect on Brian and Justin's non-relationship.

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  LOL! Yes, I thought the same thing about Joan.;)  Maybe I'll have to write an epilogue and include something about that.  I'll give that some thought.;p  Although that may just give her a heart attack - ha!  I think the boys will finally get their heart-to-heart coming up.;) Thanks so much for reading and for the feedback, mhy friend.  I appreciate that so much.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Finally-maybe Brian will get his head out of his ass and tell Justin how he feels about him. Liam, afterall, was good for some thoughtful information. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, Lindc, my friend!  I think you may just get your wish.;) I know he really didn't do that on the show - at least not in Season 3 - but that's one of the perks of doing an AU.;)  It may take some doing - and it won't be easy for Brian to say - but I think the boys may finally make some headway in the next - and probably last - chapter.

Thanks as always for taking the time to comment; that means so much to me. And please tell Lee I haven't forgotten his favorite story.;)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Uuuuugggghhhh you're killing me Kim! Lol, I will say that if Justin was purposely not answering Brian's Call then he was being very juvenile here. Staying away for the week is one thing, but refusing to keep verbal contact was not the wisest decision for Justin to make.

Brian on the other hand could have gotten off of his ass and gone to see Justin in person when he couldn't reach him by phone. Liam gave him some very good advice and in my opinion, he took way too long to take heed to it. Liam's drunken goodbye served as a huge wakeup call.

Author's Response:

Hi, Tamara! Sorry for not responding sooner - been a very hectic day.  I know - very evil.;)  I had to end it at some place, and that seemed like a good spot. The all-important conversation between B and J is coming up.  Hopefully Brian will be able to get through to a stubborn blond. Speaking of which, yes, I suppose it IS juvenile not to respond to Brian's calls, but I think Justin is hurting due to the way Brian is rather cavalierly treating their relationship, and flaunting tricks in his face, because he knows that Justin will have to accept whatever happens after the Ethan fiasco. But on the other hand, I think he wants to make Brian squirm just a little bit, and let him know that he's a little tired of being treated like a convenience.

I should have the next part up either tomorrow or Saturday.  I will probably be able to wrap it up within the next post, and then I can FINALLY go back to my WIPs.;) Thanks for reading, and for the feedback; as always, I am very appreciative.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I like Justin getting an insight in to Brian's life before he meet Michael.  BM (before Michael); Hilarious.  So does that mean Debbie has a BC and Michael has an AD?

I love the mate references.

"just in time to turn his head to avert the lips that were seeking his" NO, NO, NO I demand a rewrite. LOL  You are being such a tease with this fic and I love it.  Please hurry back.

Cheers :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Flossee!  Well, Justin was certainly tempted.  And the poor guy (Justin) doesn't realize a certain brunet saw the whole thing, or maybe he would have gone through with it as a sort of "see, I can do it, too!" type of move.;)  But you will see in the next chapter that Brian and Liam do have a discussion about a certain blond, and how pigheaded Brian is being. :)

Thank you for the feedback, and for reading.  I should have the next part up later today.  And glad your doctor visit went okay; looking forward to the remainder of your own story, too.;) Thanks again.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Cheers :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Flossee! Thanks for reading, and for the comments. I thought about the two of them hooking up, and perhaps it would have served Brian right.  But I figured if I did that, especially with one of Brian's family, it would be a lot harder to reconcile the boys, and you know I'm a trued dyed-in-the-wool B/J person.  As you already saw in the next chapter, I just couldn't do that to him.;)  Thanks again for the feedback!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

You're very kind, Elly. Thank you for saying that.  It's tricky writing Justin with someone else, and in the end I just couldn't let Liam kiss him on the lips. I think as attracted as Justin is to the guy, his heart still belongs to Brian, and after Ethan I think he realizes that would have been a big mistake. I should have the next part up later today. Justin doesn't seem very trustworthy. He was about to kiss Brian's very own cousin after Brian had already accused him of sharing the wealth. I can see why Brian is making him earn his trust.

Author's Response:

Hi, Sandra  - thank you once more for reading, and for your comments.  I think I will have to respectfully disagree with you on this one.:)  I look at it totally differently. Liam was about to kiss HIM, and made the move to do so; I looked at it as Justin proving his heart belonged to Brian when he turned his head to avoid kissing his cousin.  Also, he could have proven his point to Brian by spending the night with Liam somewhere else, rather than coming back to the loft in full view of him. Granted, Liam is a very attractive guy, and Justin is not made of stone, so I could seem him briefly tempted to pursue a relationship, albeit a temporary one, with him. But at the last moment, he had a decision to make, and I think he made the right choice. Because when it's all said and done, despite how exasperating Brian can be, he still loves the guy, and your heart doesn't always do what your brain thinks it should do.;)

So I hope you don't mind if I look at this chapter differently; at least, that's the angle I was writiing it from.  That being said, I still hope you're enjoying this story, and will stick around for the rest. Thanks again for the the feedback!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Fun take on Brian's childhood adventures.  Liam is going to wear out his welcome with Brian pretty quickly if he keeps trying to get romantic with a certain blonde, bubble butted twink.  As always a great story from you!!!!  Bill

Author's Response:

Hi, Bill! Thank you for the comments, my friend.  I think oddly enough Liam will turn out to be an ally for his cousin; you will see that coming up in the next chapter. Should have it posted later today sometime. As always, I'm grateful for your support. Thank you, Bill. *Hugs*  ~Kim

How nice to get a glimpse of young Brian BM.  hehe.  Justin was so tempted.  And Liam would have been more than happy to get a little closer and personal with the young blond.  Loving this.

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend.  I'm very happy you're enjoying this one. Poor Justin (and Brian!). He's sorely tempted to take Liam up on his offer, but at the same time his heart is firmly held by a stubborn, bullheaded brunet.;)  I don't think it would have been realistic for Justin to betray Brian in that manner, even though Brian probably would have done it, if only to 'prove a point.'  But in the next chapter, a certain cousin will be setting him straight hopefully (in a manner of speaking - ha!). Thanks so much for reading, and for taking the time to comment; I really appreciate that.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi, Jo! Thank you for continuing to read and comment.;)  Yes, Brian is very obstinate, isn't he? I think, however, that you will find in the next chapter he is beginning to realize that he'd better work things out with Justin, and he will be getting support from an unlikely source.;)  I should have the next part up later today; thanks again for the encouragement and the support; it is greatly appreciated.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi, Tamara!  LOL - I figured as much.;)  In the end, I just couldn't do it, although in a way Brian might have deserved it.  Except...as he mused about earlier, it wasn't HIM who broke the 'no kissing anyone else on the lips' rule (except with Michael, which I think says loads about how he does - and doesn't - feel about him. Something always bothered me about that, though, how he kissed him!). Anyway, I think our brunet will be starting to come around in the next chapter. ;)

"You're just doing this because of that trick I brought home, aren't you?"

"Remember - I know exactly what to expect from you!”

“Just what was he trying to prove? What was the point?”

“He had been honest with Justin from the beginning about their relationship, or lack thereof…”

“Do you prefer having your needs met instead by someone like my cousin, who apparently isn't interested in a long-term relationship?"

Heavy questions. It was those very questions that rolled through my head several times during my contemplations over that period in the series. I believe it was a turning point in their non-relationship. Somehow, you’re done a wonderful, non-judgmental approach to that tumultuous time. I’m looking forward to read your answers to those questions or at least Brian’s continued jealousy. I always love your Brian-jealous fics and this one is excellent!

Author's Response:

Hi, Sandra!  As always, I love it when you indicate which parts you enjoyed the most.;)  Thank you for being so thoughtful.;)  I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought about those issues.  Yes, Justin IMO definitely had some culpability in not being straightforward with Brian about sneaking around, and I can understand how Brian could prevent himself from being so open about his feelings after the type of parents he had. But I still think that despite his strength Justin needed that validation of Brian's feelings.  Hopefully in this AU story I can make that happen, but in a believable way.

Thank you for your kind words about my stories, and for reading, Sandra. Will get the next part up later today.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hi Kim love this new story. You've got Jealous!Brian in this and that is without a doubt one of my favorite Brians. I feel bad for justin though as I guessed you've set this in season three after they got back together. Season three is my favorite season of the series so this is just lovely to me. Really liking Liam as an OC too he was so sweet the way he was flirting with Justin. DSort of hoping something happens between he and Jus because it would serve Brian right.

Looking forward to more. HAve a feeling I'll be reading all new chaoters with a smile on my face!!

Well done!

Hi, my friend! Thank you for continuing to read, and for the comments!  Do not worry; you know where my heart - and Justin's - lies.  I'll make sure the boys are happy before I'm done.  I should be able to post the next chapter tomorow, which will involve more of a heart-to-heart talk with Justin and Brian's cousin.  Thanks again for the feedback!  *Hug*  ~Kim

I drove home so fast when I saw u updated so I can get comfy to read it I always love your stories and seeing a jealous Brian always gets me excited keep up the great work can't wait for another update

Author's Response:

Hi, Bridget!  I consider that a great compliment that you wanted to hurry home to read this. You're very kind.;)  Thank you for reading and for the feedback!  I, too, love a jealous Brian.  I think a certain proud, stubborn man will have to eat a little crow before this is all over with.  I should be able to post the next update sometime tomorrow. Thanks again for the support, and especially for the comments!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hey, dear Kim!

You are master in the provocation, is not it?

But I can only agree that Brian deserves all this and is reaping what he sowed.

A hug, my friend!

Fatima.

Author's Response:

Olá, Fátima! Sim, Brian nem sempre pensar antes de falar. Eu acho que o amor de Justin para ele impedirá Brian de perdê-lo. Obrigado por seus comentários, meu amigo. By the way, eu estou trabalhando no último capítulo de sua história. Eu deveria ser capaz de enviar mais para você o que eu tenho em breve. * Hugs * ~ Kim

Oh, God!

When Brian will learn to keep your mouth shut and it is he who gets hurt more when he departs Justin this way?

I knew it was Liam Brady. When I asked about the middle name, I meant that the name was  Brady Liam.

I love Ted and Emmett together. It is always a sign of fun.

I love your story, my friend.

A big hug!

Fatima.

Author's Response:

Oi, meu amigo! Obrigado por me deixar algum feedback. Eu também gosto de incluir Emmett e Ted em minhas histórias, quando eu posso.;) Você estava certo sobre Brady. Estou tão feliz que você está gostando disso. * Hugs * ~ Kim

Emjpyed the 2 latest chapters.  Wonder if we will see a Liam vs Brian battle for Justin?

Author's Response:

Hi, Bill! Thanks for letting me know you're enjoying this story, my friend.  Hmm...I actually wouldn't mind seeing that, but I suspect a certain blond's heart is already stolen by a bull-headed brunet. We don't always do what our logic tells us we should do when we're in love. That being said, though, that doesn't mean that Brian shouldn't have to do a little groveling.;) I should be able to post the next part tomorrow. Thanks so much for your comments!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Okay Kim it's time I pull out my flogger and punish you for being such a tease ;) I must admit though, that in light of the events that are taking place, Brian is starting to see the error of his ways and Liam is starting to realize how fruitless his attempts to have Justin really are.

Author's Response:

Hi, Tamara - I know.  Bad Kim, bad Kim, very evil!  I do think it's time for Brian to stew for a while, though, don't you?;)  At least your torment will be eased when I post the next part; not so sure about Brian, however.;)  Thank you for bearing with me.  I promise to answer the question of where the two men went probably tomorrow.  *Hugs*  ~Kim
