This was an amazing story!  I loved it!  It really showed the love between Brian and Justin!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! It makes me so happy to know that you enjoy my angsty, Christmas fic. I wrote this a few years back, but it's still one of my favorites too... Hugs Darling ~ Kathleen

Oh. Wow.  That journal.  Wow.

(he should have told him he visited every single night he was in a coma)

Oh, and Justin hasn't revealled he remembers the prom.

Author's Response: I know the journal... I was an emotional wreck when I was writing it... and my beta said she cried when she read it... I guess my job is done... Thanks for reading ~ Kathleen

Oh geeze.  I am about to tear up with Sunshine now, this is so darned sweet!

The sex was tearful and HOT, Brian litterally having a panic attack over the kitchy-ness of Christmas decoractions was funny, Justin figuring it out and knowing what to do and  how to handle both his man and Emmett is genius,  THIS: God, I love chocolate. Brian leans in and kisses me as he says, “Should I be jealous of that Godiva chocolate you’re sucking on, because your eyes look like you’re about to cum.” Is just hilarious.

I love the adoption of their first "child" and how perfect each of the gifts Brian chose are.  His to himself was the best, self acceptance, lol: There was a time when the idea of being a married man and having a Christmas dinner would have sent me running to the sanitarium. Yep I’m a fully-fledged dyke now, complete with pussy.

Finally, though, I have to question your choice in such a ripped man pulling off his santa suit to represent Brian.  LOL.  To me, it was Gale's sweetness and rich soulful eyes that attracted me to 'Brian', though I figured that to the many men he easily seduced it was his combination of animal magnetism and potent pheramones.  Either way, Brian/Gale was at best 'toned', so I find the pic a little funny.  However, I'm sure Justin agrees with you.  LOL.

Only one chapter left.  Boo.

Author's Response: Thanks I'm so happy you're really enjoying this story... What can I say, I guess I was having my own Santa fantasy... I mean who wouldn't want to sit on Santa lap... He, he, he... Later Hon ~ Kathleen

I've never read this story.  How dumb of me.  Its damn cute.  I just loved the very clever and original lines, especially:

Brian's POV:

He really wanted to get married on Christmas Eve, but then he decided on the 10th of December because, well, because he’s spoiled and wants to celebrate as much as possible throughout the month. (Anniversaries, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and let’s not forget Valentine’s Day…) He actually starts planning his parties in October I think, or maybe he just has Emmett on retainer.

And Justin's thought: ... and the little hairs on my neck stand up like they’re clapping that I finally remembered.  (freaking brilliant description!)

Then: ...I know I should tell him, but I’m already too emotional about every little thing. I’ll wait until I can talk about what I want for lunch without crying first.  (I Can hear Justin's voice thinking this.)

Finally, your Molly is fantastic.  One line, but perfect.

I can't wait to see what's next.

Author's Response: Thanks so much... So glad you found it... I had fun writing this one even if it is a little sad in the beginning... Later Darling ~ Kathleen

This was a great story.  Glad Justin got his memories back about prom.  Loved the list of things that Brian put in his journal.  Great fic.

Author's Response: Thanks Darling, Thank goodness after all these years Justin finally has a clear picture of how Brian feels, even if he still has a hard time verbalizing them... Later Darling ~ Kathleen

What a great ending.  The list was knda scary in parts, but at least now Justin knows.  Love the pics.

Author's Response: I know that there were dark parts, but I think Brian sometimes puts on his mask, hiding he's deep feelings... I love that pic of the naked Santa, so sexy... Later Darling ~ Kathleen

Oh my. Those journal entries are amazing. So sweet and romantic and brutally honest of Brian. I've got tears in my eyes. Damn I want a man like that and really it sucks 'cause I know he doesn't exsist except in this amazing story of yours. So very very well done. I'm blown away. Thank you for sharing this!

:)

Author's Response: Thanks Ali, I guess I'm just a total romantic. And when it comes to these two, they just make my heart swell... I'm so happy you enjoyed it. Take Care Darling ~ Kathleen **Hugs**

Okay, have to clear my head first of that image of the Santa in this chapter before I can write legibly - LOL!  I loved the journal entries Brian kept.  I'm sure that took quite some time for you to compose them, but I thought they were great. What a wonderful way for Brian to express his love to Justin without having to come out and actually say the words!  And I thought the idea of the new hospital unit was inspired. Thank you for the heartwarming story, Kathleen - and for the sexy Santa.;)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response: Thanks so much Kim, that really means a lot to me... When my beta sent it back last night, she said she cried when proofing it... And I have to admit that it is an emotional chapter. I actually wrote this about five years ago, before I had a beta and was a fledgling writer... When I realize that I never posted it here on Midnight Whispers, I thought that it was the perfect time, with Christmas as the back drop... It makes me so happy that I've gotten such positive responses... Thanks so much for reading, and commenting... Later Darling ~ Kathleen **Hugs**

Love, love, love this.  Brian makes the best Santa!  I was a little confused though, I thought it was the kitty wearing the Santa suit.  LOL.

Author's Response: I meant Brian, playing Santa... Yeah, I can see how that line was confusing... He does make the perfect Santa!!! Later Darling ~ Kathleen

Wow!  What a chapter!!!  Love how sweet Brian is.  There is no greater love than forgiving someone for wrecking your corvette.  Love, love, love Daphne for the great cap idea, Emmett for his careful planning and Ted for organizing it all.  consumption control?  That was a new one on me, but Hunter is just the person to handle it.

Author's Response: Thanks so much... I think Brian is finally coming into his own, being able to express his feelings. Finally letting Justin know just how much he needs him in his life... Later Darling ~ Kathleen

"...they noticed a very tiny wood splinter working its way out of his cortex on its own."

I liked that twist.

This was a beautiful chapter and, again, I loved the picture.

Author's Response: Yeah, I thought that twist made his memory loss more explainable and then allows him to slowly remember... Later Darling ~ Kathleen

"I feel like I’m in some old Fred Astaire movie in some ballroom, spinning and dipping."

I love this first chapter. I enjoyed Justin's thought while under water and I enjoyed the pics.

Omg Brian getting caught literally with "egg" on his face was too funny lol. But it's also a relief that Justin has woken up and has the chance to recover.

Author's Response: I know Brian really is something else, but whatever it takes to wake up sleeping beauty... So glad you're enjoying my story, hopefully more chapters will be posted later this week... Later Darling ~ Kathleen

I think the idea of the paint and turpentine was a good one.  Thank goodness for that cold water.  To have Justin come back from a blow job, LOL - that was a good one.  Explaining it all?  Glad it's not me having to do it.

Author's Response: Yes, Brian sure is talented bringing him out of his coma... I had fun writing this one, I'm so glad you're enjoying it... Merry Christmas Darling ~ Kathleen

Hi, Kathleen!  I figured I had read this before after what you wrote in the synopsis, but I don't think I have.  I really like this!  I adore a loving, protective Brian.  And I love the things he did for Justin to help make his hospital room like his home. And he had quite an inventive way to get Justin's attention.;)  I laughed at this line:  “Could we please have some warm towels and a menu? I’m starving,” like it’s room service.  So funny!

Looking forward to the rest; oh, and read your note on LJ that you're going to try and update "Christmas Presents."  That's great!  Good luck with the writing!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response: I posted this out on Livejournal years ago, when I was just a fledgling writer. So I figured it was time to post it here on Midnight Whispers, it kind of goes with the season... I'm so glad you enjoyed it, hopefully the next parts will be posted over the next week or so. And thanks again for nudging me in the right direction, I'm back working on "Christmas Presents" right now. I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed writing it... Sending you Big Hugs Darling ~ Kathleen
