HA! Michael once more shows us what an egotistical clingy idiot he constantly proves to be. Then he tries to back-pedal out of it to no avail. I was expecting something and this result exceeded my wildest ideas. Well done.

And Justin is awarded the murals' contract; that's going to be a considerable amount of work, for a considerable payday(s).

Got to do some SSW work next. I'm looking forward to returning to this story very soon.

Author's Response:

Glad you are enjoying the story but get back to work!  Bill

Interesting to have the Brown's visiting them. I've never read that in a story before. Maybe the Bloom Gallery is a worthy cause for the JB Foundation. Just a thought.

I DO NOT TRUST MICHAEL!

Author's Response:

I like to blaze new trails!  Mikey is always reliable, he is a consistant jerk!

Reviewer: Bob (Signed) · Date: June 22, 2017 07:16 AM · On: Chapter 8

Always good to add some feel good events to a story - sort of balances out the angst or any drama happening. It seems your story has B&J with money like dirt. My stories did that, too.

Author's Response:

I know, Iread some of yours!  Bill

That was very clever of Justin. I'm already hating Michael again. In my stories he gets totally wrecked or snuffed out. Sometimes I'll save him after extreme torture.

Author's Response:

I think of him as Brian's brother, family is often annoying but we still put up with them.  To Justin he is kind of the in law from HELL!

And a new enemy element enters the plot. Love me some Michael bashing.

How very Joan of you. Thicker grows this plot.

Reviewer: Bob (Signed) · Date: June 22, 2017 05:55 AM · On: Chapter 3

Father Bolton adds an interesting twist to the plot. In this chapter there are a few times you need to make paragraph breaks when the character voice changes.

I need to get back to my work; however, I'm having a hard time ending my reading at the moment. Very good story, Bill.

Reviewer: Bob (Signed) · Date: June 22, 2017 05:44 AM · On: Chapter 2

The plot thickens.....how will this turn out?

Reviewer: Bob (Signed) · Date: June 22, 2017 05:31 AM · On: Chapter 1

That was fun to read! Very descriptive and clear. You started with a main character to have feelings for, and added the hero for the moment. Then you leave the reader wanting to know more about these characters.

Loved the hair dryer trick, and I'll probably get some ginger ale tomorrow. It's been decades since I've had any and really like it, too.

Since these stories are epic in size, it'll take me some time to read up to your present day writings. I've added this one to my SSW work breaks for something fun to do.

Well done, sir.

I started your story in early February shortly after you posted the last chapter. I knew it would be good when I was reading how Justin man-handled Claire. Now I will pick up where I left off. I can't believe this massive tale was your first story. Great job! 😉

Author's Response:

Thanks for the kind words.  I swear this is the first story I ever wrote.  I never expected it to last for 100 chapters.  It was fun to write and reviews were the icing on the cake for me.  I am glad you enjoyed the story, thanks for letting me know.  I love to hear from the readers!!!!  Bill

I'm curious, what do you do for a living?

I know you're not very fond of Michael, neither am I but I do hope the way he thinks about Justin changes somewhat in the sequel.

Hi there, I've just started this story & I'm on chapter 21.

I am enjoying it very much and I like the way you write.

Question: please tell me Michael is either going to come to his senses or seek some professional help because he clearly needs it.

I look forward to Brian & Justin becoming close to the boys. Peter is very sweet.

Author's Response:

I'm glad to know you are enjoying the story and appreciate your nice commets.  Sadly I must tellyou that I don't think Mikey really has sesnes to come to. I look at him more as Brian's brother than friend, someone that Brian has outgrown but has too many good memories of to stop seeing.  Hope you continue to enjoy the story!!!  Thanks for the review,  Bill

I have been waiting for your story to be completed before I started reading.  I have been burned/disappointed in the past when a good stpry does not get completed.  That being said, I was not disappointed this story was wonderful.  Even though you left us hanging on several issues.  I can't wait to read the sequel.  You had me in  love with the big personality of Jennifer.  She was amazing.  Alice too.  You write beautifully.  You pulled me in and wouldn't let me go some nights way into the morning.  Darn that having to work thing!  Thanks again for a beauitful story.  Looking forward to finding out how things turn out.  Oh, I forgot I never liked Mikey, Lindsay or Joan.  Great job in writing them.

Author's Response:

Hi Dee Dee, thanks for taking time to review.  I am really glad you enjoyed the story.  I enjoyed writing it.  Our likes and dislikes of characters seem to match up pretty closely.  Of course I love the Jennifer in this story, always lookig out for her boys.  I hope you enjoy Holiday Happenings.  If you are going to wait to read until that is completed it won't take as long as this story nut there will be another sequel following.  Thanks agaian for the review!!!!  Bill

WOW!! I am confused with a capital C. So...what is going on with Lindsay? Has she...just gone completely cray cray? So...was she just locked in the room planning the whole time to pull the rapo card or are these ligitimate flashbacks? Cuz...this is right out of left field here. I mean she was living there for a while with no problem with her father.

But at the same time stealing petty cash, that whopping lie she told her parents about it, moving out of Mel's, starting something with Tom, crashing a party....these are all deliberate and intelligent acts that required planning and some sort of right mind thinking. Self desctructive, sure, but well, planning and knowing what she was doing.

So what's going on? Oyyy....my head hurts.

Author's Response:

Could she have bought that lock for the door because she didn't feel safe????  Lindsay semmed to feel betrayed a lot and always wanted someone to take care of her, almost seems like maybe she was looking for a father figure to make her feel safe and protected ot she could be a just a lying bitch.  Take an aspirin and maybe the final chapter of this story will satisfy your curiosity.  Bill

I'm really enjoying the Teddy man,Blake, and Nina story and happy they include Viola in their lives. Nina reminds me in a way of John and Peter they didn't have much in the way of happy memories. Viola being ill and not a lot of money, and the boys with a drug problem and no reality for their mother, and a grandmother who could't show them any love. Jen has such a big heart and loves all her boys and trying to make beautiful memories just Ted and Blake are doing for Nina and her grandmother,

Author's Response:

Nina, John and Peter are all lucky to have landed in situations where they are loved. Everyone is lucky to have them in their lives. It would be nice if things in real life always worked out as well as they do in this story. Thanks for the review!!!!! Bill

I've been reading your story all along, but I haven't reviewed the last three chapters. My 90 year mother passed away, I kept on reading you and three others, but couldn't get thoughts together to review. I'm late but I entend to go back and review. Mom was not really ill until the last ten days of her life, she had empisema, I did her breathing treatments and checked oxygen four times aday. Now your review! I was so happy that Kevin and Gus are still seeing each other I don't think Linds knows what a kind and caring son she has, everything is still about her, I think her parents should have some of the blame, they taught their two daughters they were entitled and better than other people her sister was married four times and she and Linds have led lives were reality never really took place. Mom and dad are still living that way. I was so happy that Brian told her off then he finally told mikey what he thought of him when mikey was telling Ted he was cheap . I've had it with that moron fussing about the price of doll furniture compared to what he pays for action figures rather than helping out with JR. Brian has changed he still loves his son, but found he had enough love for John and Peter an even little Kevin I think he finally figured the more love he gave he was rewarded with still more room to love, it problemley scares him to death but I think a baby girl would even give more joy.

Author's Response:

Sorry to hear about your mother dying. How lucky that she wasn't sick for a long time. My parents died pretty young and I think sometimes it is harder to lose parenst who have lived a long time and are such a part of our adult memories. No one ever replaces Mom but we do get to keep all our memories. I had a great aunt, that I was close to, dies this year at 106. I didn't get to see a lot of her for the last couple years - east coast/west coast thing - but still miss knowing she was there.

Linds is pretty wrapped up with her own issues.  I agree her parents play a big role in how she turned out.  I love the Gus/Kevin friendship so it will continue. Earlier in the story Brian tell Justin that he never warned him that "love is contagious".  Mikey is Mikey always the same.  Happy to know you are still readng and enjoying.  I appreciate all your support!!!!  Bill

Big start for the new school year.

Mel handled the marker situation well. She has a high stress job, how will the family manage that?

I'm interested in seeing where you are going with Lindsey. It's almost like she had a brain transplant.

Jen continues her strong minded approach to life with her comments to Craig.

A lot going on in the chapter. Of course, you know, the more you give us, the more we want. Giggles!

Author's Response:

Everyone seemed to get a good start at school.  I don't think we have heard the end of the "marker situation"???  Lindsay continues to have "issues" and I think that may continue to a while.  Jen has a lot going on in her life no time to be bothered with Craig.  Glad you are still enjoying the story.  Thanks for the review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

Wow first day of school loved Peters enthusiasm I think Johns lack just shows how much he liked being in a good school.  Lindsay's nose is going to grow so big with her lies she going to break a window.  Craig trying to make nice with Jennifer was really funny. Gotta love Ted questioning Brian even when he knows Brian will steamroll right over his objections. Teddyman and Blake are maybe trying to hard with Nina but they are on the right track.  Why do I think someone Brian and Justin know will work at the school Lindsay is trying to get a job at and will realize she lied to get the job. Brian letting Gus just talk and know he can call anytime was sweet Gus telling his sister to stay away from the markers his Papa bought him is going to get him yelled at by dimwit I mean Michael more mind reading and by the way Happy almost birthday to me a dimwit free chapter loved that though nothing tops Brian and Justin Ina shower ever my fave part of the whole chapter.   More soon my finger hurts from hitting the refresh button for the past couple of days.

Author's Response:

John is just being a teenager, doesn't want the adults in his life to know everything about him.  Lindsay has a story for all occasions, so far it is kind of working for her.  Jennifer has no interest in havng anything to do with Craig.  I think he has a hard time accepting that truth.  I think Teddy Man and Blake just think that Nina is the best thing that ever happened to them.  They are too sensible to let her get out of control.  Mind reading not working on the Lindsay storyline but may be better on the dimwit front. There might be more soon.  Happy almost birthday.  Bill

Reviewer: Blossomlegs (Signed) · Date: October 19, 2015 04:26 AM · On: Chapter 91

Linz certainly can lie to anyone and make them believe what she is sayig and it usually make her look good and anyone else bad.

Looks like John may get to be a hand full ( teenager). Justin received very good advice from Alice about the alcohol. Peer pressure can be rough.

Jen sure laid into Craig, good for her. Hope he won't bother her again.

Mel did real well with Gus an JR, happy she went along with Gus reg. his markers and him t not to share.

Fantastic s always, thanks for sharing.

JoAnn

Author's Response:

Hi JoAnn, Lindsay is very creative, believable stories for all occasions. I think John is just being a teenager and doesn't want to be telling the uncles everything that goes on in his life. Peter has a different opinion for sure. I agree high school peer pressure can be very powerful. Alice knows that from her own children. I think except he is the father of her children, Jennifer would like to forget she ever even knew Craig. I am thinking Mel isn't thrilled with the marker situation, there may be more to come. Glad you enjoyed this chapter. Thanks a lot for taking time to review. You know I love to hear from the readers. Bill

Possum, moonshine and Granny Clampett, hilarious. Loved that show. I agree with Justin, it's better if you don't have to think about the meat being alive.

Love Jenn's comments to Craig.

Hope John is okay and just being a teenager.

What the hell is Lindsay up to now?

Ted and Blake are getting the parenting thing down quickly.

Great chapter.

Author's Response:

I love the Beverly Hillbillies myself, especially the early seasons.  That is my own personal feeling about meat.  I always say when I have to kill and butcher my own meat that is when I become a vegetarian!  Jennifer has no need for Craig, her life gets more full all the time.  Linds is up to influencing young minds - that is kind of a scary thought.  Teedy Man & Blake are pretty thrilled with the new addition to thei family and Nina seem pretty pleased with them as well.  Thanks for the nice review!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

Yippy.  A new chapter.  First day of school and all is well.  Except that someone will have to buy JR her own markers.

How will Lindsay's lies go over and will the truth come out? Will she end up losing yet another job?

Great stuff!

Author's Response:

First one to review this chapter.  I thik the markers may become a little issue.....  The truth coming out and Lindsay losing another job are two different question with possibly two different answers.  Thanks, as always, for all your support!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

Love it, protection for the girls at a gay bar.

Great sex for the boys, always a plus.

Good, Lindsay's parents are getting tough with her. She should have 'figured her life out' before she had a child.

Poor Gus, a child that little should never have to worry about not having what he needs. That bitch really screwed with his head.

Ted and Blake will be great dads too.

Grandma Jenn, so sweet to make the kids breakfast on the first day of school.

Loving this.

Author's Response:

Brian is comfortable in protection mode. I don't think Lindsay's parents were ever the warm and comforting type. That might be why she is so screwed up. With Viola playing a guest star role.  Jennifer is taking her grandmother duties very seriously and having a great time doing them.  I really appreciate you reviewing each chapter as you caught up wth the story!!!!  Thanks,  Bill

Reviewer: Lorie (Signed) · Date: October 14, 2015 11:43 PM · On: Chapter 89

WOW, now she's going to lie to her parents about Justin and Mel, saying that they caused it all.

Michael acts like Toys R Us is Herrod's. He is so cheap, even with his own child. He will always be a jealous, petty asshole.

Maybe Justin should invest in the Partridge Family bus. That way he will have room to pick up playmates for everyone.

I love when they have a houseful. They always seem so happy to have company.

Great writing

Author's Response:

You have to admit Lindsay came up with a great spin on the story that makes her a sad, little victim.  JR was too smart to fall for the cheap doll furniture in her favorite color.  Mikey is lucky Brian didn't buy the doll furniture, he would ahve bought much more expensive stuff than Justin did.  Maybe Prada had a line of doll furniture???  The Partridge Family bus or the pink minvan - hmmmmm  hard to decide which Brian would hate more.  Brian has adjusted to a lot of kids running arond his house.  Luckily there is someone for everyone to pair up with.  Thanks for the nice review!!!  Bill

Reviewer: Lorie (Signed) · Date: October 14, 2015 11:29 PM · On: Chapter 88

Peter is a smart kid, he had a great way of making his older brother see things another way.

Michael, as usual, once a prick, always a prick.

Now that Ron and Nancy know the truth, hopefully they will confront their lying bitch of a daughter.

Does Craig think that Justin will forgive the loan if he plays nice? Another ass.

They really are wonderful parents. I hope they do have a baby, it will be the luckiest (hoping for a girl) child in the world.

Author's Response:

Peter realizes how good he and John have it living with the Uncles.  He just had to remind his brother what their alternatives would be, none are good!  Mikey will always be Mikey.  More to come on the Lindsay story.  So you don't think Craig is sincere?  Time will tell what his motives are.  So you think Brian could cope with a little girl, do you think she could ever date?  Thanks for the review!!!!!!  Bill

Lindsay will never learn. Wonder how fast she will go through the money.
What a bitch, blaming Justin for the way she feels and saying that to Gus. Too bad Gus isn't old enough to know the truth.

Ted's tough with Craig, love it. They sure have Craig over a barrel.

Great chapter. Great story.

Author's Response:

One trip to Atlantic City and she could probably go though all her money, it will take longer with just lottery tickets.  Gus is smart enough to know that Justin isn't the cause of his Mommy's unhappiness.  I think Ted enjoyed letting Craig know just how things are.  Thanks for the nice comments!!!  Bill

Maybe someday Michael will realize that Justin works too. How would he feel if everyone started saying that he was spending all Ben's money.

Lindsay better watch out or her parents will throw her out on her lazy ass.

I wish I'd grown up with parents as wonderful as Brian and Justin.

Still loving the story.

Sorry I haven't reviewed in a while, I've been helping an author with a story. It's a lot of fun but I don't know how you guys do it.

Author's Response:

Mikey realize things change,  You and Linds are both having a little trouble with reality.  I think her parenst are already sorry she is staying in their house.  B&J have lots of love to share.  Glad you are still enjoying the tsory.  Thanks for reviewing as you catch up.  You know I love to get them!!!  Bill

Well, didn't take long for Lindsay to revert to her old ways. You have to want to get help, and unfortunately at this point it doesn't appear she is interested in that.  A shame, but Gus is being taken care of the way he should, which is good.  Loving Jennifer in this story, and how she has become a 'grandmother' to so many. And I continue to love Alice's take-charge character.

As always, I'll be looking forward to your next chapter, Bill. Thank you. ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi Kim, thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to review.  I think you are right about Lindsay, she is not dealing with reality. B&J will always try their best to make sure Gus is taken care of.  Jennifer and Alice are a dynamic duo for sure.  Glad to know you are still enjoying the story.  Thanks for the rview!!!  Bill

I got caught up in B&J & family...Lindsey etc, that I comnpletly left out The "girl's night out and Ted & family. (smack my hand)

I've had a few of those nights out back in teh day adn enjoyed them thoroughly. I never had the limo service or personal security mind you, but I guess that's par for the course with Brian. LOL

Teddy-man, Nina and Blake are a wonderful family. I'm so glad you've brought in that story line. always makes me smile. It makes sense that ted would have the patience for repetation. He can bo back to his days with Worm-whatever his name was when he was just doing accounting. Lots of repetition there. :) He has such a bif heart, such a lovely soul that he'd be able to be there for Nina. Happy to see her making friends in the neighbourhood and that they are open to T&B.

As I said in the review just before, it's a wonderful story. I'm so happy, excited and relieved to see each update. There's always a little part of me that gets worried when I'm so involved in a story that the writer will just suddenly stop. It's too much of a beloved story for that to happen... (right?? ;)  )

elaine

Author's Response:

Brian ia always in protective mode for people he cares about.  He wants to be sure Molly has a good time and stays out of trouble.  He probably remembers all the trouble her brother got into at Babylon. I thought the same thing about Ted; he is used to doing repetitive tasks.  I thought Nina should have a local friend, it gives Ted & Blake more of a reason to become part of their neighborhood.  Thank you for all your nice comments and for being so loyal about postng reviews.  I appreciate all your support.  No plans to end the story and I promise not to leave you hanging.  Thanks!!!!!  Bill

Very nice angst free chapter. I enjoy them as it lets my emotions calm somewhat between sessions. LOL.

The day-to-day domesticity of the Taylor-Kinney clan is always a joy to read. Even just having them prep for the 1st day of school. It's sweet. Especially having Jen coming over for her special breakfast.

I'm wondering if Lindsey's parents will reconsider their belief in her story. Seeing as she's so unispired to get work or get on with her life. she's just sitting their like a bump on a log. They may just wonder if the story she told was actually BS after all. It's going to be interesting to see what they do etc. I don't think they'll put up with her much longer if she continues on that way. She definitely seems to need realy psychiatric help. Just sitting there in the back yard, one has to wonder what's going through her mind. Is she really trying to sort herself out (doubtful) is she fantasizing what coulda, shoulda woulda happened, is she planning something underhanded to try to come between B&J? (not that it's possible)

Sorry for the late review btw. Was Thanksgiving weekend and was busy in the kitchen. Was able to read, but waited till today to review.

Author's Response:

Glad to know you enjoyed the latest chapter.  More romance than angst in this chapter.  I think Lindsay's parents want to believe their daughter s fine and will soon be sefl sufficent and out of their house.  I think you are correct that Lindsay could use some professional help but will shet get it??  That is the big question.  I think her parents have their heads firmly in the sand and don't want to see any issues.  Always happy to see a review whenever it comes.  Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.  Next time you review let me know what you eat at Canadian Thanksgivng.  Thanks for the ewview!!!!!!!!  Bill

Enjoyed all the glimpses into the domestic scenes of the various households. Gus is so adorable. Gus' dialog is so realistic...his concern over forgetting his pencils, for example. It is good that his fathers listen to him and don't belittle his concerns. I wonder that Lindsay's parents aren't more concerned about the fact that Lindsay is barely functioning and staring off into space. Lindsay seems to be suffering from some sort of mental/emotional issues. Not sure if her mother's tough love approach is going to make much difference at this point. Glad to get a peek at Ted, Blake, and Nina. Mother Taylor rules! Can't wait for the next chapter. Thank you!

Author's Response:

Glad that you enjoyed the chapter. Thank you so much for saying you find Gus's dialog realistic, it had been a long time since I was 7 or was around any 7 year olds.  I don't think Lindsay's parents were ever too concerned about her. Might be part of the reason she is not dealing with reality very well.  Happy you liked the updates to various households.  I agree that Jennifer ruled!!  Thank you so much for taking time to review!!!  Bill

Sounds like the girls had a great time dancing at Babylon, it's a good thing they had a chaperon we wouldn't want them wandering into the backroom... he, he, he...

Hugs Hon ~ Kathleen

The backroom might be too much reality for the ladies, especially if Mary's brother in law happened to be in there.  Hugs, back to you!  Bill

It's great to see the boy's are doing so good. Just wait until they hear about Lindsay's distorted explanation of how she lost her job. The woman is delusional...

Well, Lindsay failed so far making her family co-addicts - it´s time to wake up befor it´s too late. Will she end up in prison or a facility, still hoping Brian will come to her rescue? I hope he will do nothing!

Sorry for JR to get in the middle of the nonsense her father is in. Thank God having Ben around, I hope he will stay...

Craig at the exposition, I´m not quite sure: Is he serious, perhaps lonely or is trouble around? J&B don´t need trouble!

The boys are back to school, finally. I hope we will have fun, new friends...the uncles will have their hands full.

I enjoyed every chapter and I´m always happy to see a new one. Keep on the good work & many thanks!

(Since I started my new job, haven´t had much time to review, sorry!)

Author's Response:

Hello my friend, always so happy to hear from you.  I don't see Lindsay in prison but she is certainly headed for trouble.  I don't think her parents are going to cope with her very well.  JR is a little girl who knows her own mind.  No way was she agreeing to cheap furniture for her dollhouse.  I don't think her Dad will have a lot of luck getting her to think badly about Uncle Jus.  I think you are correct the uncles will have a lot to deal with because they have Gus and hus school to contend with as well.  Gad you are still enjoying the story.  Hope your new job goes smoothly.  Thanks for the review!!!  Bill

I love grandma Jenn! and how she made the Boy's first day of school special lol.

Linz needs a reality check! Big time !!!!

I think Grandmom Jen got as much pleasure as she gave.  Linds is certainly not dealing with reality very well.  Thanks for taking time to review!!!  Bill

Linds didn't stay up for very long. I see her mother gave her the go to work or get out rule. Linds really needs a good therapist.

Lindsay's acting 'true to form' - I like how her mother told her off - about time. Love how all the boys are great with the kids - Ted showing patience with Nina - I can see that - Ted always had hidden depths that others didn't see at first because of his quiet demeanour. Love Jennifer's 'first school morning breakfast and photos. I wish my mother had done that for me and although I did the photos first day of school, I never thought to do a first breakfast - wish I had - wonderful idea.

Author's Response:

I don't think anyone would describe Nancy Peterson as overly maternal and she is more feeling than her husband.  Wonder why Lindsay has so many issues???  It's a mystery for sure.  I agree 1,000% with you about Ted.  I always thought he was a very caring person. Jennifer is really enjoying being Grandmom Jen and the boys are enjoying having her in their lives.  To be honest my family didn't do pictures or breakfasts for first days of shcool but it seemed like something Jennifer would have done with her own children.  Thanks for taking time to review!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

You do a wonderful job of displaying the love between Justin and Brian, between Gus and his dad, Peter and John with their cousin and uncles, and the rest of the extended family.

I am wondering what will happen with Lindsay and the teaching job. If she applies and gets the job, I'm guessing she won't be able to hold onto it. She's not at all ready to acknowledge and address her addiction.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate them.  I don't really see Lindsay sticking with teaching for the long term.  I have some "fun" stuff in mind for her.  Thanks for the review, you know I love to get them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

Reviewer: Blossomlegs (Signed) · Date: October 11, 2015 03:48 AM · On: Chapter 90

Wonder how Linz is going to get out of applying for the teaching job?

Also if she even heard her Mom about finding a job or a new place to live?

Love of Gus is so excited about colors and art, plus Justin being so good at explaining everything to him.

Love Jen and her first morning of school breakfast, plus pics which included Brian.

Justin should know better than to disagree with her.

So happy to get an update on Ted (Teddy Man) , Blake and Nina. Looks like Nina is getting a new friend.

Brilliant update, and axiously waiting for next!

Thanks for sharing!

JoAnn

Author's Response:

I suspect Lindsay may get that teaching job for a short time.  I used to love those big boxes of Crayola crayons that had the sharpener in the back of the box.  Such great colors like blue-green and green-blue, yellow green and green yellow.  I thought markers were more up to date for Gus.  Special breakfast for first day of school just seemed like such a Jennifer thing to do.  I think you are correct about Nina getting a new friend.  Thanks for your nice comments.  Happy to know you are still enjoying the story.  Thank you JoAnn for always taking time to review.  I really appreciate your support!!!!!  Bill

Getting ready for the first day of school was well planned.  They even got a great breakfast out of it.  I bet this was the first time anyone made a fuss over John and Peter going to school.  Grandma Jen is quite the super mom.  Lindsey is not going to be able to waste her days if her mom and dad have anything to say about it.  It looked like Ted was unsure about how the neighbor was going to react to Nina.  Love how Ted was better at working with Nina then Blake.  Yet another great chapter.

Author's Response:

My friend, you know I am always happy to see your review. Glad you liked this chapter. Grandmom Jen is trying her best to make up for the bad times in John and Peter's life. She had to get up really early to be at the house in time to make breakfast. I think Ted was wary about why the neighbor suddenly decided to pay attention to them. Turns out it was a good thing. I think Ted feels comfortable with familiar things so I thought he would be good for Nina.  Thanks for the nice review!!!!!  Bill

Thank you Thank you Thank you for the quick chapter I loved it. Brian and Justin sex the best part of the whole chapter no Michael at all, cute Nina Blake and Ted no Michael Jennifer obviously doing something she did for Justin and Molly to establish something good for first day of school mostly for John and Peter but also for Gus along with the pictures that every parent that loves their child takes no Michael. I saw in a review you were considering no baby I really want baby but then I never want this to end and baby means there is more and more to write about not there isn't tons without baby but with the mind boggles and to think you could do whole chapter then where all you talk about is Brian Justin John Peter Gus and baby or like I keep dreaming babies and no Michael. I don't like Lindsay much either but I see story there unlike with you know who where when you write about him I just keep thinking if you forgot about him think about all the people I like to read about you could spend more time on while you ponder my rant Thanks again for the quick chapter and I have a birthday coming in about a week and a half was that too subtle you keep writing I will keep reviewing 1 more thanks you because the above were not enough

Author's Response:

I did promise someone that I would post an update today.  Maybe my next chapter will be solely about Michael, you seem to have missed him in this chapter.  Glad to know you enjoyed your requested chapter so much.  I just threw that no baby comment out there to see if anyone reponded.  The number of reviews for the new chapters is down so I guess I may need a baby to generate more interest.  I do appreciate all your support and I'll see if MAYBE I can get two chapters out before that birthday.  Of course one could be just about a day in the life of Michael Novotny???  Thanks for the fats review!!!!!  Bill

I was so excited to see an update on this! It seems that the Petersen's are just about at their wits end with Lindsay.hopefully she realizes that she can't keep going this way...it's not fair to her son nor her parents. On the plus side, I would give my right arm to have had that breakfast. Jennifer has gone above and beyond to make sure the boys feel loved and safe. Brian and Justin have really lucked out in the love department.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the fast read an review.  The Petersons' don't have a very long wit and yes they seem to be at the end of it!  That French toast sounded good to me too.  Jennifer has a lot of love to give and is happy being Grandmom Jen.  B&J are very lucky to have found each other.  Thanls for all the nice comments!!!!  Bill

Hi, Bill! Well, Lindsay's total denial is complete, and she is quite the little actress...or her parents are just too gullible!  As always, I'm impressed by all the details you put into your story, and how all the characters interweave with each other. It takes skill, IMO, to introduce OC's into a storyline, and make you care about them, and you have done that in this story. Looking forward to the next part. Thanks. ~Kim

Hi Kim, just read your latest update and loved it!!!!  I think Lindsay's parents wanted to believe her.  Thanks for your kind comments, really happy that you are still ejoying the story.  Always good to hear your comments.  Thanks,  Bill

Lindsay is certainly cleverly manipulative about her addiction. Since she doesn't believe she has a problem, it's clearly going to be a while before she deals with her addiction. Her parents, in the meantime, are happy to be manipulated.

Always heartwarming to watch Brian and Justin's relationship get deeper and stronger. I like the idea of contagious protectiveness. :)

After a not so pleasant day at work I felt like cheering like Gus does when I found this new chapter waiting. Such a pleasure to read. Could Lindsay's parents be more gullible? Lindsay is a piece of work. Talk about delusional. Which, of course, reminds me of Michael. He is so immature. I guess Michael is the child that Ben never had. How else could he tolerate him? Gus and Kevin are so cute together. I liked seeing Brian so engaged in their soccer game. Was worried about Justin's near panic attack...did not realize he still had those residual issues. As always, loved all the B&J affection. Will be interesting to learn more about Emmett's new friend. Thanks so much for this. Looking forward to the next installment.

Author's Response:

Happy to know the latest chapter brightened your day.  Lindsay's parents were happy for a story that made their daughter blameless.  I like your idea that Mikey is the child Ben never had, that thought made me laugh.  I love Kevin and Gus time in the story.  Lucky for Justin that Brian is usually around to drive away his panic.  I have a feeling that Rusty may be the "one" for Em.  I love to hear from the readers.  Thanks for all your nice comments!!!!!!  Bill

Wow! Lindsey has totally gone over to the dark side! So many lies! I can see how her parents would would believe that, no one wants to know that they raised a person that bad. I'm waiting to see what changes their minds.

Mikey is his usual petulant, hating self. Does Ben ever feel worn down by all of it?

Then you end the chapter on an upbeat, thank you, with a view in B&J's loving, happy, and normal family life.

Author's Response:

I agree that Lindsay's parents wanted her story to be true, so they could feel their daughter was the victim.  Lindsay may slide a little deeper into her own reality before she is done.  Mikey is pretty adverse to any change.  Ben seems to accept the good with the bad and realizes that Mikey's obsession is Brian is completely one sided.  I agree B&J have built a very nice life for themselves.  Maybe it shouldn't be disrupted by a baby???????  I really appreciate you being so loyal about posting reviews!!!!  Bill

Lots going on in this chapter! Impressive. How you keep track of everyone & their story lines is beyond me. I imagine a wall in your house that's filled with charts, names, arrows etc... ;)

I'm interested to see where things go with Lindsey and her parents. Naturally she lied through her teeth. Sadly though, it was an entirely plausible explanation for those who don't know teh situation. Wonder how long until they see what's really happening. How far will Lindsey try to take this BS scenario and what will happen once she's found out.

Micheal actually made me laugh. He is just so insecure...such a petualnt child. will he ever grow up?

I just love the interactions between B&J and their friends. You've had them create such a home. A great family!! Now...for Wednesday's dinner with Em & "Rusty" hehe. We'll see if he get's Brian's stamp of approval.

All in all a great chapter as per usual. Was once again thrilled to see it there upon arriving at work. My work computer is bigger than the one at home...that's my excuse!! ;)

Cheers!!

Author's Response:

Hi Elaine, sorry tot disappoint you, no wall chart - just an devery frowing stack of paper that I occasionally have to search through to find a name or situation.  Also sometimes going back to read past chapters.  Lindsay did have a great story for her parents and it's possible she might even believe it's true.  We can always depend on Mikey not to disappoint us.  Glad you enjoyed this chapter, I always look forward to your comments.  Hope you are reading on your break and not when you should actually be working.  Thanks for the review!!!!  Bill

I can't believe how conniving Lindsay is - her parents certainly got suck in. Hopefully she'll show her true colours and her parents will 'get a clue'... Still want to slap Michael - nothing new there - Ben's idea of the furniture being good birthday and Christmas presents is spot on - I used to do that with lego for my kids - plus it makes the kids appreciate the toy and have something to look forward to. Brian is so good with the boys and Justin is so good with Brian..... great chapter - looking forward to the next one.

Author's Response:

Lindsay was able to weave a very convincing story for her parents. She might even believe it is the truth. Mikey is Mikey, he can't help himself. It is kind fo a great thing to have a go to thing for kid's gifts. Glad that you enjoyed this chapter. Thanks for the Review,I still love to get them!!!!! Bill

What a story sspinner Linz is and what is worse her parents believe it, just wondering where is all o this heading and what is the end results going to be!? She really is only digging herself deeper in a hole.

Going to be interesting what Brian thinks about Em's new man.

Love all the family/friends get togethers and how Justin is the protector of Brian.

Brilliant update, staying tuned for next update!

H JoAnn, thanls for letting me know you enjoyed this chapter.  Lindsay had an answer for everything and her parents were happy to accept her version of the story.  I thnk maybe her hole may get a little deeper yet.  I think it will be interestingwhen Brian finds out the main course for dinner is rabbit.  I think B&J are always looking out for each other thst is one of the strengths of their relationship.  Thank you for the nice comments!!!!!!!  Bill

I can't get over how devious Lindsay is.  She purposely spouted bull shit to her parents and they bought it.  Then you have Mikey who feels that the cheap furniture he wanted JR to have is better then the nice furniture Justin got for her.  It's good that Ben is there to reign Mikey in.  So Em's got a new boyfriend.  I hope that Brian doesn't find anything wrong for Em's sake.  Justin's money paid for the gallery so I can't get over Brian's so called friends insisting that it was Brian's money.  Want more, more, more of this wonderful saga.

Author's Response:

My friend, no chapter is complete until I hear from you.  Lindsay came up with a pretty good story, totally based on lies, but a good story.  Her parents so want to believe their daughter is the victim.  I don't think that illusion will last very long but all three are happy with it at the moment.  Mikey tried his best, going for the pink crappy doll furniture but JR didn't fall for it.  Ben is always the voice of reason.  I think Em & Rusty may turn out to be well matched but who knows????  I did just promise another loyal reviewer I would post the next update no later than Saturday so you won't have to wait too long.  Thanks, as always, for your review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

So I gather killing Lindsay and Michael is out of the question. I want Lindsay parents to catch her stealing stuff out of the house since it may be the only way they realize Brian was telling the truth. I loved JR throwing a fit to get better furniture Ben gets it Michael never will.  Loved all the kids at the house and Brian dealing.  But my favorite part was Justin at the gallery talking about how crowds still make him uncmfortable when Brian is not around. That was just a little sweet add on. May chance of more real soon like maybe by Saturday night begging here.

Author's Response:

I really do think we would miss them if they were gone. I think her parents were eventually regret swallowing her story hook, line and sinker.  For now they are happy that their daughter had a plausible story that made her the victim.  Jr os her motjer's daughter - she wants what she wants.  B&J are always looking out for each other, glad you enjoyed Justin ackowledging how much he depends on Brian.  I promise to post something by Saturday or before, you deserve a reward for all your support.  I do really appreciate you and look forward to your comments!!!!  Bill

They so wanted to believe it was true.  The alternative is that their daughter is a lying, stealing, gambling addicted bitch.  Lots of parents would prefer to hear Lindsay's version.  I think they will come to regret being so gullible.  Thanks for the review!!!!!!!  Bill

Thank you for your reply and not taking it badly which isn't what I intend but may have come across that way. Very interesting about Lindsay. Getting help is good, especially for Gus.

Although my reviews are mostly about the terrible duo, I also want to say I love everybody else. B/J goes without saying. John and Peter are fine young men. Gus and Kevin are so sweet. JR is a pip. And let's not forget about Nina and her Teddy Man and hope we'll see them soon!

Author's Response:

I was sincere in my reply.  Of course it is great to hear that someone loves the story and I am a genius for writing it but that is not reality.  I am not Lindsay I am not completley delusional (at least not yet!).  I really do appreciate hearing what someone does not love about the story.  You were just trying to get me to improve in an area you thought needed it.  I do really appreciate your honesty.  Happy to know you do like most of the story.  Thanks for all your support!!!!  Bill

I love your fic, but it just keeps going in circles with Lindsay and Michael getting away with the things they say and do and never getting any real comeuppance or self awareness. How many time do we have to hear about how Justin is to blame for everything and Justin is spending Brian's money? That record is broken. Time to throw it out.

I love bashing Lindsay and Michael as much as the next person, but wouldn't it be more fun to read about their misery if they finally acknowledge to themselves that Justin is rich and successful in his own right and hate him for that insead of the same old song?

I'm sorry if it's too critical, but it's been 89 chapters and over 300k words and I just want to read something else other than "Justin is spending Brian's money. Justin is soing things without Brian's permission." from those two.

Author's Response:

Good feedback, thanks.  I am trying to do a little something different with Lindsay that may change her behavior in the future.  She is having actual mental issues that cloud her thinking and she will need help to recover.  The thing with Michael is that he never changes so his story never changes.  I truly believe there are people like that in real life.  I really do appreciate your different view and I will give your ideas some thought.  I think it is good to look at things from a different perspective.  Thanks for taking time to post your comments!!!!  Bill

In your last response to me you asked if I had read Predec2 stories. I've read a lot of her work and since I'm dog lover her Tricky series was a delight. I try to look a posts of many new authors, that's how I found you! I think my first review was for Moonshadow Woman's Broken Angel it was so good I had to let her know how much I enjoyed it, there are many authors I always read : Tagset, Ispazz, and 7wildways,  and the story on updates The Intrudner. I read as much as five to eight hours each day, HOO RAY FOR RETIREMENT! The only stories I won't even check out are vampire and major death fics, just not my thing. It seems MW has something for everyone and I enjoyed so much to have  something is constantly changing and challanging.

Author's Response:

I LOVE the Tricky universe! I don't like the death stories either. As you can guess from my story I am a low angst story kind of guy. Glad you enjoy MW and it is great you review the stories you like. I know all the authors enjoy hearing from the readers. Hope you continue to enjoy my story. Bill

And Craig's an example of a parent who has no clue how to put his children first...

Lindsay may be in for a rude awakening now that her parents know that she was fired from the gallery and why. She needs to take responsibility and, with professional assistance, learn to help herself.

Author's Response:

Sadly lots of examples of bad parenting on QAF: Joan, Claire, Ron & Nancy.  I think it may be a little while yet until Lindsay starts to deal with her issues.  Bill

I know I submitted a reivew for this chapter previously, but I wanted to add that I appreciate how you depict daily life for Brian and Justin and, especially, how you show them putting Gus first--just as parents should do.

Sorry Bill I forgot something, even though there are some troubles in some of the charactors lives for the most part this story has really been upbeat. It makes you to appreciate the good times and accept some difficulties. I think the most changed is Ted after all he has been thru Brian and Justin truly respect him. Of course Brian and Justin have greatly changed, they grew up and had the sense to move away from the loft that people just walked in at any old time. It's your writing that we are allowed to see the growth or lack of growth of our charactors. They grow with us.

Author's Response:

Never apoligize for double reviews!!!!!  They are among my favorite things.  This is a low angst story and those are the ones I enjoyed reading the most so no big surprise that is the kind I write.  It was Predec2's stories that inspired me to write my own story.  I hope you have read her stories because they are great.  Like so many fans I hated the ending of the TV show and always liked to think this is the way B&J would have lived their lives.  As you can tell I never liked Lindsay in the show, Michale always kind of orrated me and I always liked the character of Ted and hoped for the best with his relationship with Blake.  You are very kind in your comments and I truly appreciate them.  Thanks,  Bill

Great chapter. Nice to see the opening go without a hitch. Definitely a few intersting goings-on, but nothing to disrupt thankfully.

Well...The Peterson's certainly got an eye-opener. I'll be interested to see where things go from there. Do they believe Lindsey's BS or Brian and Jennifer. It wouldn't take much to get either story backed up and for them to see that that Brian and Jennifer are telling the truth, no matter what Lindsey says to them upon any kind of confrontation.

I had a feeling Craig was going to make motions towards reconcilliation. IF he's being forthright and honest, he's going to have an uphill battle. It's going to take a lot for him to get any of them to trust his motivations. It'll be an interesting arc to watch.

Gus Peter and John interactions were all great. Guss thrilled to just be a part of it, Peter putting things into perspective for John, and John understanding that while he definitely appreciates all B/J have done for him, it doesn't hurt to give back as well.

I love opeining up MW and seeing an update from you first thing. Makes my day start so nicely. thank you!!

There was a bunch of stuff going on at the gallery opening but you are correct nothing that disrupted things and most people didn't even notice the drama that was ocurring.  Lindsay's interactions with her parents promise to be pretty interesting for sure.  You are the first reviewer not to be surprised by Craig showing up at the gallery.  I agree it will be an uphill battle for Craig with Brian at the top of the hill throwing rocks at him.  I think it is a nice change for Gus to be in an all male household (except for Alice) after spending most of his time in a female dominated household.  Thanks for all your nice comments, glad I started your day one a good note.  I really appreicate you being so loyal about posting reviews because it make my day to read them!!!!  Bill

Hi Bill, Was so glad to see your lastest chapter. I was afraid someone would try to ruin the opening and was happy it was sucess. I was surprised the Peterson's attended the opening and was glad Brian told them the truth about their daughter just wondered why all of a sudden Nancy wanted a kiss from Gus, I think maybe to impress others. Jen was right there by Gus's side if need be. mikey wasn't there, acting like the two year old he is but I'm sure he would have made a scene just to hurt Justin. I though Peter telling his brother that they were so lucky to have their uncles and reminded him how much they were loved, glad John woke up realized Peter was right. Then Craig walked in. I was sort a happy he saw his son was a sucess, no thanks to him. Molly let him know just because he was ready to be in his life, that was not going to be a easy as easy as he thought. He had left a heart broken son with no support, and blamed the one man that saw Justin's pain and loved him and took care of him. Every chapter just gets better and better. Please more chapters.

Author's Response:

Hello my friend, so happy to see a review from you.  Glad we didn't scare you off, I would have really missed your comments.  I think Lindsay put her parents on the guest list when she worked at the gallery and they made plans to get together with friends there.  Nancy likes to think of herself as a "loving gradmother" but I don't think she has Gus convinced.  I'm pretty sure Justin was just as happy that Mikey did not attend, one less ossue to deal with.  Peter has gotten more confident since coming to live with the uncles.  Molly told her father the truth and I'm sure that was hard for him to hear.  Time will tell how much he is willing to do to become part of the family again.  Brian may blackball his application.  Thanks for all your reviews, I appreciate your support.  Bill

When did Peter get to be the smart, sensible brother.  Love how he told John to suck it up.  Gus certainly enjoyed having John's help with the tags, it was nice that he had a job to do and made him feel grown up.  Boy, Lindsey's parents got an earful from Brian.  I wonder if they check when they go home to see if anything is missing?  Then the surprise of the evening - Craig showed up.  Molly and Jennifer really told him off, but I think he just might have a clue now.  Thank you for such a lovely chapter!

Author's Response:

Everyone needs a reality check once in a while and Peter provided that for his big brother. Peter showing a little more self confidence than in the past.  Gus likes to help and likes to spend time with his cousins so his gallery job was made to order for him.  Lindsay's parents' really got an eye opener from Brian.  Of course any discussions they have with Lindsay may have to take place through a bolted door.  I think you are correct Craig may just have gotten a small clue about ehat he needs to do if he wants to get back on good terms with his family.  The questions is what will he do now?

My friend I never consider any chapter to be complete until I hear from you.  Thanks you for being such a loyal reader and reviewer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

So many great moments in this chapter. Peter reminding John of all they have with the uncles, Jennifer using her WASP skills to skewer the Petersens, with the Brian no words minced follow-up (loved!), and Gus--so adorable all through the chapter. I was kind of disappointed not to see Kevin at the opening, but then you totally fixed it with arranging the lunch the next day. You surprised me with Craig's appearance at the opening. Molly really hit the nail on the head when she explained her perception of his actions to Craig. Is Craig really going to try to be a father again? I don't trust him. Have to love scary Jennifer. Justin is so lucky to have both Brian and Jennifer protecting him. I always enjoy the B&J interaction...so nice to see so much love and respect. Well, I could continue to ramble on, but I'll just say I loved this! Thanks.

Author's Response:

Happy to know you enjoyed this chapter.  Jennifer's WASP can sting when she wants it to.  Lindsay's parents got some surprises at  the gallery for sure.  Molly know her father really well and gave hom plenty to think about.  The question is what will Craig so with all that truth???  I think Brian and Justin are lucky to have each other and they are both lucky to have Mother Taylor looking out for them.  Thanks so much for all your nice comments.  I really appreciate you taking time to review.  Bill

Invasion of the unwanted relatives... Thank God Lindsay didn't show and cause a scene. It's hard to believe that Craig doesn't have an alternative motive, Justin's right to be skeptical... And Gus is just too adorable, as always...

Hugs Hon ~ Kathleen

Author's Response:

I love that old movie "Invasion of the body snatchers" (the original) so I like your "Invasion..." reference. I think Craig expected to be welcomed with open arms as the prodigal father, he was disappointed.  Glad you enjoyed this chapter.  Hugs back to you.  Thanks for the review!!!  Bill

Craig really had a lot of nerve! Thank goodness that so many gave it to him straight from the shoulder about what a shit he'd been to his family. I can't wait to see what Lindsay will tell her parents about the real reason she is no longer at the gallery.

Keep it coming Bill ;)

Author's Response:

Craig got a dose of reality but didn't come with a spoonful of sugar.  I think it was pretty bitter tasting to Craig.  Lindsay and her parents may be having their discussion from opposite sides of a bolted door.  I intedn to keep it coming as long as people are reading and reviewing.  Thanks!!!!!  Bill

Well, it was nice of Craig to act civilized and realizing his mistake. Then he lost some points with that remark about Justin needing Brian's permission. Molly got him pegged that he's still thinking of himself and what he lost. But everybody's got to start somewhere and hopefully he'll keep improving. A therapist or PFLAG may help......or sic the cuteness of Gus on him.

Author's Response:

I think Craig realizes what he lost but still not willing to admit how much of it is his fault. He still sees Brian as a villain. Molly let her father know the truth and gave him food for thought. Thanks for taking the time to post a review, I love to get them!!! Bill

I found this chapter to be sort of depressing John being schooled by Peter on why their life was so much better living with Brian and Justin instead of their mother and Paul.  Nancy and Ron Peterson learning about Lindsay's transgressions having nothing to do with show setup, gambling, and stealing. I admit I have no actual idea what they were doing there unless they were the guests of the others they mentioned.  Last Craig I felt bad for Justin having to deal with him on his opening night for the gallery, though I did like Molly putting her father in his place. I think the cuddling scene with Brian and Gus and Justin was the happy place I kept waiting for the whole chapter. I can't wait for the first day of school and the little beg I knew you were waiting for can that be soon pretty please

Author's Response:

Wow sorry to depress you, it did have a happy ending.  I thnk everyone needs a wake up calll once in a while and Peter provided that to his brother.  I'm pretty sure Lindsay put her parents on the list of invited guests when she worked at the gallery.  They believed her stories so would have shown up to try and make Justin uneasy about unfairly firing Lindsay.  Didn't work out the way they expected.  I think Craig meant well but was disappointed that he was not welcomed with open arms.  Molly gave him the wale up call he needed.  I have a very silly excuse for not posting thsi chapter sooner.  I must have pulled a muscle in my side and it is very uncomfortable to sit up straight.  So I can only type for short periods of time.  I told you it was a a silly reason!

Thanks for the review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

Brian and Justin totally are in sync to each other. Brians's protective love is just that a giant hug of love and support. Craig still didn't get it even after Justin told him and he saw Brian and Justin interacting he still thought Brian ruled Justin. This chapter had everyone protecting Brian and Justin. Peter talking to John and explaining some home truths, Justin protecting Brian from Craig, Brian protecting Justin from Craig. Jennifer protecting Gus and Brian from Lindsay's parents and Craig! and Molly protecting Justin and Brian from Craig. And Alice listening in ready to intervene if needed to protect her little brood if needed

Author's Response:

Jennifer has said it before, Brian and Justin are true soulmates.  Craig just can't accept the truth about Justin and Brian's relationship.  Just show that he has a lot of work to do before he could become a part of their lives.  He might surprise us??  I think that is what families do they look out for each other.  Alice was on the bench waiting to be called in if she was needed!  Always enjoy reading your comments - thanks for the review!!!  Bill

Craig certainly came back fast. Molly did such a good job reading him.

B&J make such a happy family for themselves and the boys. It is a joy that you share them with us.

Glad the gallery opening went off with out a public melodrama. And Peter got a chance to be the wiser younger brother.

Thank you for making my evening!

Author's Response:

Molly gave her Dad the harsh truth now Craig will have to decide what he wants to do.  Thank you very much for the nice comments about the little family at the center of my story.  I am really happy you are enjoying them.  All the drama at the opening was pretty low key which was a good thing.  Everyone occasionally needs a dose of reality and Peter delivered that to his brother at the right time.  Thanks for the review, you know I love to read them!!!!  Bill

Fantatstic

L ove how Brian and Jen told the Petersos thr truth bout Linz. Wonder what Linz's parents are going to do with their daughter now?!

Wow, didn't exspect Craig to make a appearance, and actually nice, even if it was very late from when he disowned his son.

Wat a lame excuse from Mikey and Ben for them not showing, putting the blame for having to watch Jenny.  I agree with Brian they could have brought her along. Her and her brother and cousins could have hung out together. But then again Mikey voud to keep Jenny away from Justin.

Made my evening to see and read the update!

Thanks for sharin, eagerly waiting for next!

Fangirl, JoAnn

Author's Response:

Hi JoAnn, not sure Ron & Nancy loved hearing the truth about their daughter.  They are so concerned about how ithers view them that their options are limited.  If they put Lindsay out that would cause a lot of gossip.  I'm glad i was able to surpise you with Craig showing up at the opening.  Molly really let him know how things really are! I think Justin was just as glad for Mikey to not show up.  Happy to know you enjoyed this chapter.  Thanks, as always, for the review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

Whew! Finally got a chance to get caught up on your wonderful story, Bill! Not sure which one I find more abhorrent in the past few chapters - Lindsay, Michael, or Craig. Is it odd, though, that Craig here is probably the least offensive in a way?  And I think I would just call Michael deluded, however annoying he is, so I think Lindsay gets my vote. I'm trying to be sympathetic toward her in light of what I see as an addiction, but she needs to help herself a little here and get her priorities in order, and she is woefully lacking in that at the moment, so it's hard to feel sorry for what she has brought upon herself.

And now that the custody issue has been resolved, there is a little one about to enter the picture. So this is going to be 200 chapters now? Ha!  I would not be surprised! Congrats again on all the accolades - this is a richly interwoven story. Thanks. ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi Kim, know you are busy so I appreciate you taking tiem to get caught up and leave a review.  Hard to pick a winner from L, M & C, they are all pretty annoying.  I think I am going to have to move things along faster or it wil take more than 200 chapters to get to a baby.  That seems to be a popular additon to many of my faithful reviewers.  Thanks for all your suppport!!!  Bill

I'm so sorry Bill hope I didn't embaress you or cause you a problem. I had no idea that it was breaking a rule, I hope I'll be able to still review my favorite stories.

Author's Response:

I don't think there is any big problem. I think it is kind of a gray area.  I know you were just trying to be nice. No biggie!!!  Bill

By all means please do write reviews bktush.Writers love the feedback. In fact it wasn't an offical clear rule yet, but an area we will have to address because it would upset other writers, and could clog up the archive with review requests; it sort of comes under solicitation which is a policy rule. We have no problem with the author requesting reviews and I've done it myself lots of times. However, if readers start to do it then it could really stir our little pot and cheapen reviews in general.

I didn't remove your request for reviews because of what you said; it was removed before it had a chance of setting a precidence, and others would see it and do the same thing. Nobody did anything bad. It's all good, bktush. And thank you for reviewing. ~bob

Wonder how well Linz parents are going to take her bolting her door from the inside?

She is a bitch to put Gus i the middle of everyting between her , Brian and Justin.

Mikey is just digging himself deeper in a hole.

Love Ted handling Craig, giving him no options, reg. the loan.

Hope Justin's gallery opening goes smoothly.

Seeing a update from you, makes my day, thanks for saring!

Author's Response:

Hi JoAnn, somehow I don;t think Ron and Nancy will be happy about the new lock on Lindsay's door. Brian and Justin are trying hard to keep Gus out of their Lindsay issues, would have been a good thing for his Mommy to do the same. Mikey is Mikey, I don't think he will ever change. Our "best friends" in one chapter: Michael, Linds, Craig...how can it be worse?

Michael - I like the way Ben is handling his partner´s issues, his patience, his efforts to protect little JR. I hope Mickey will come to his senses soon, if not, what will Ben do?

Linds - addicted, depressiv, passive-agressiv...she is hurting her childs and digging her own grave = social life. Lindsay is the new Claire -drama around the corner.

Craig - on the way to learn his lesson the hard way..!

John with a twist, no longer the nice boy, but more and more questioning, looking for his own way, becoming his own person...So good to see him with little changes, never loose the security and love in his new family. Great work!

(sorry, I couldn´t rewiev lately, been exhausted, one got lost in www, I´ll do better, I promise ;)))))

Author's Response:

My friend, always happy to hear from you!!!! Mikey coming to his sense?? I suppose anything is possible.  Lindsay as the new Claire made me laugh! You are right Linds had lots of issues and who knows what is next there. John is maybe feeling more secure so he can express his opinions. Thanks for the review, I always look forward to hearing from you. Bill

I just realized that with Lindsay locked inside the bedroom, how are her parents suppose to show and sell the house? Me thinks Little Miss Lindsay's little teenage rebellion will not go as she expects and that may be the final straw on her parents backs. I think the Peterson's are horrible people, but I do enjoy when anyone gives Lindsay the what-for.

Author's Response:

Well the good news they don't have much chance of selling their house unless they clean it up and reduce the price.  I do think you are right that the Petersens are horrible people and I'm sure their patience with Lindsay will not last long.  Stay tuned!  Thanks for the review.  Bill

Interestin, you see Michael as clueless and I see him as

(mildly) delusional.  After a long chat with Ben, the outcome is

that Michael will keep JR away from Justin.  As far as I can see,

B&J will probably see less of Michael.  To me that is a good

thing.  Given the good relationship between Mel and

Brian/Justin, JR will see lots of Justin.

Now it looks like Lindsey has also crossed the line.  Locking

herself in her room will certainly make this difficult for her

parents.  Just how they are going to handle this will be

interesting. Can Brian help?  Would he even want to as she has

turned against  Justin.

On a lighter note, many chapters back, didn’t  I remember

John meeting a girl and they got along real well.  John is such a

good guy, maybe it is time for something special for him.

Once again, thanks for the chapter and for the story.

DavidR

Author's Response:

You know I can't argue with delusional.  Mikey refuses to see what everyone else does, that Brian and Justin really love each other.  I thubk making things diffcult for the Petersens is a good thing but Lindsay has some MAJOR issues and doesn't seem to be getting any better.  I think Lindsay telling Gus lies about Justin kind of eliminates any personal inetrvention from Brian.  He will probably provide whatever help he can from a distance for Gus's sake more than anything else.

Now that John and Peter will be starting school John will more opportunity to see Patrice.  Will be interesting to see what develops there.  How will Uncle Brian deal with hetero teenage romance happening around him?  Always enjoy getting your perspectve on the story.  Thanks for being so fathful about posting comments!!!  Bill

Hi Bill, I just keep on loving this story and most of the characters. Lindsey makes me so mad, how she tell Gus that Justin is the reason she's so unhappy, but Gus won't buy that he loves his daddy and papa he's a smart little guy and knows she wasn't happy in Canada either. mikey needs to be placed in the booby hatch, if he has any brains I'm sure he sits on them. I can't believe his response to Justin buying a little bit of doll house furniture to make JR happy, she won't like being kept a way from Brian and Justin she loves them both, not for what they buy her, but for how they treat her. I thought Ted did a really great job when he had his meeting with Craig, I don't think he has any idea how sucessful his son is. I wish he could be civil to Brian and Justin they didn't have to help him, they don't need his gratatitude just being civil to them is all Brian wants for Justin.

Author's Response:

No love for Lindsay???  She is making it difficult to love her.  The person she is hurting the most is her self but i think she would like other people to be as unhappy as she is feeling. I think Justin could give Mikey a life saving transfusion and Mikey would still not be happy.  He just can't adjust to not be number one with Brian. Ted did a great job with Craig and I think he enjoyed every minute of letting Craig have it right between the eyes.  I think old Craig might just be having a little chnage of heart but time will tell.  Thanks for the comments, I really love hearing from the readers!!!  Bill

I thought Brian and Justin did a good job dealing with all of Gus' questions about his new living arrangements. I wouldn't have guessed that Lindsay would put a bolt on the bedroom door. She is so immature. The way she's going pretty soon she will have no money at all and, as usual, will sit around crying about how unfair the world is. Of course, Michael isn't much better. Wonder how much longer Ben will put up with him. Loved all the B/J affectionate moments. Also, I think everyone needs an Alice. Always enjoy reading about Ted. He really handled Craig. Brian will be so happy. I'm looking forward to the art exhibition and whatever else you have planned in this wonderful story. Thanks!

Author's Response:

Gus is a smart little boy and he really loves his Daddy and his Papa.  H eknows they haven't caused Mommy's unhappiness.  I think he is going to be okay.  Hard to say just what is going through Lindsay's mind. Mikey is, was and always will be clueless.  Ben is just unhappy about Mikey trying to infect JR with his craziness.  It would be nice if everyone could have an Alice.  I think Ted really enjoyed his meeting with Craig.  Grand reopening of the Bloom Gallery should be fun.  That is coming in the next chapter.  Thanks for posting a review, I LOVE to get reviews.  Bill

Lindsay is up to something besides wasting money on the lottery. Blaming Justin for her unhappiness, and telling that to Gus who loves his Papa very much. So wrong.
Ted was in his glory. Go Ted. Craig finally did something right for a chance.

Author's Response:

Lindsay has many, many issues and I don't think she will deal sucessfully with them for some time. Lucky that Gus knows that his Papa is not the cause of Lindsay's unhappiness. I think it is more correct to say that Craig got forced into doing something right. I could be wrong but I think old Craig may be taking a new look at some things. Guess we will have to wait and see what happens there. Thanks for posting comments I really enjoy reading them and am glad to know you are still enjoying the story. Bill

Loved how Ted basically told Craig that to our boys, the money for his loan means little more than loose change found in their sofa cushions. Justin's success and happiness is gotta be eating away at him.

WOW! I was not expexting to see an update so quickly! this started my day off incredibly well. thank you. I was thrilled!!

Some day I'm sure Mikey will get his cummupance, and I'm not sure all his relationships will stay intact. I have to say though, I'm enjoying his journey into the duldrums. HAHA, I'm such a bitch, but it's fun.

Same with Lindsey. Concerned about gus talking to her on a more regular basis and her influence on him. I'm sure the others will assure him as they did here. I just hate the fact that she would put her own child in teh middle like that. Again, watching for her downfall. :)

Craig is finally realizing the success of his son. that it's his son's success and not Brian's. Would be nice if he eventually did an about face, adn not just for financial gain, but for his own sake. I loved that Ted got to deal with him. His digs were subtley at it's best. He gave the correct info without giving away too much, but his point was made. Loved it. Have always loved Ted;s character.

thank you so much for an incredibly quick update. Brilliant as always.

Author's Response:

There are other reviewers (don't want to name any names they know who they are) who are always urging me to update faster so I finally took pity on them.  I like to think that Mikey will always be Mikey.  There are so few things that you can absolutely depend on.  Mikey being a clueless idiot is one of those constants.  Now Lindsay is another story altogether.  She has serious issues and I suspect they will get worse before they get better.  Gus has a great support system so I'm sure he wil be okay.  He knew that Lindsay was unhappy even before they came back to Pittsburgh.  Craig doing an about face, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm that might have ocurred to me - stay tuned!  Not sure how Justin would deal with having a fther after all this time.  I love Ted also and Brian has been a big influence on him.  You could see echos of Brian in the way Ted took control of that eeting with Craig.

Great chapter. Michael is an idiot.

Doesn't seem that Lindsay is going to get her act together anytime soon.

Good old Ted - 'stick it to him'........ I had a great laugh over him dealing with Craig. I can just imagine how much Ted would have enjoyed that meeting.

Hopefully the gallery opening will go well but knowing Lindsay and Michael's frame of mind, I imagine things won't be go as smoothly as they should. If they interfere I can see Brian's reactions being explosive and the two self-absorbed idiots won't see it coming - well - it's one way to go......LOL Looking forward to what you devise for us.

Author's Response:

Happy you enjoyed this chapter. No one could argue against your opinion of Mikey. I thonk you could really see Brian's influence on Ted and his enjoyment of raking Craig over the coals. As always I was delighted to see another chapter of this story.  Looks like Lindsay is going to be out of money shortly.  Wonder what happens then.  That was very mean of her to tell Gus that Justin was the problem, it's the way she views things that's wrong.  Mikey has the same problem, I wonder if it's contagious.  I'm really surprised that Craig agreed to Kinney's terms.  It would have been funny if Ted took out his cellphone on the pretext of letting Brian know the outcome and took that picture.  Do you have something planned for the gallery open?  Like Lindsay showing up and making a scene?  or Mikey?  Love that Ben and Debbie lectured Michael about his attitude, but the fact that he still refuses to believe he's wrong is disturbing.

Author's Response:

My friend, as always I am delighted to see your review. If you ever stop commenting I will know it is time to fold my tent and slink away. Maybe Lindsay will win a million dollars and have a wonderful exciting life? Nah, not never happen in my story! Even Gus knows that Justin is not reponsible for his Mommy's problems. He even told her she didn't like her job at the gallery and always complained about it. Craig knew he didn't really have any good alternative. You could see Brian's influence on Ted during his meeting with Craig. A scene at the gallery opening, hmmmmmmmmmmmm Lindsay won't cause one. She is not good at face to face confrontations and she probably knows Jennifer and Alice will be there. They are her kryptonite. I don'tthink Mikey will even attend. Thanks you very mcuh for all your support for the story. I truly appreciate you!!!  Bill

Keep it coming Bill! I have to say I see quite a bit of foreshadowing in this chapter....Michael and Lindsay aren't too likely to let up anytime soon and Craig sure as hell isn't going to take being indebted to B/J lying down....but I love how they're keeping him in check Lol.
Have I told you lately that I love this story and you for writing it ;)

Author's Response:

Thanks for the kind words.  Happy to know you are still enjoying the story after all this time.  I don't see Mikey ever changing.  Lindsay is seriously screwed up right now.  I think Craig knows he has no other option but hates that fact.  Ted ceratinly let him know who the boss it.  I love to hear that people like the story so thanks for letting me know.  Just so you know I NEVER get tired of hearing that.  Thanks for the review.  Bill

so thank you for a new chapter really fast I like it.  Michael is an idiot and I find it doubtful that either Ben or Debbie will change that.  I hope Michael is not invited to the gallery opening. Lindsay is a mess and I worry about what she says to Gus. My biggest fear is that Lindsay will try to crash the gallery opening.  I can see her doing it and Michael helping her try to ruin Justin's night. I am glad Craig realized he has no choice go along or lose everything because Brian and Justin don't care. I can't wait for the boys to start school I think their schedules will drive Brian a little nuts at first especially the back to school night. Just so you know I do try not to be mysterious and this really is my favorite thing to read and reread over and over while I impatiently wait for more. thanks again for the quick chapter hope to see more soon.

Author's Response:

You should not take my comments so seriously.  I enjoy teasing you.  I always look forward to reading your reviews and sometimes your pleas do spur me to post as soon as possible.  The best thing we can say about Mikey is that he consistant.  We always know that he will blame Justin for anything he doesn't like.  I think Ben understands that and is willing to deal with it but he and Debbie don't want to see Michale pass his irrational behavior on to hsi daughter.  I think Lindsay is having too much trouble getting through the day to cause any trouble at the grand opening.  Now her parents are a different story??????  I wonder who will dislike parent teacher meeting more - Brian or the teachers he deals with.

Supposed to have a few cool and rainy days here so the odds for a fast posting of the next chapter are excellent.  Thanks for all your support I LOVE your reviews and always enjoy bantering with you!!!!!  Bill

Omg we have two dilution all people who are projecting their hate on Justin. Michael and Lindsay are so twisted with hate because they believe Justin has taken Brian away from them. Stupid people they never had him that way and have almost lost what they did have.

Author's Response:

I think Mikey would tell you that he is driven by his "love" for Brian but we all know he is clueless and refuses to see reality. Lindsay has some serious issues and to put her son in the middle of her feud is really, really wrong. Luckily Gus knows that his Daddy and Papa are not the cause of his Mommy's problems. You are correct Mikey and Lindsay are wish thinking about their relationship with Brian.  Always happy to see your review.  Thanks!!!!!  Bill

Well, I wonder if that is the end of Craig's input in the boys' lives, or if he will be back again?

I am glad B&J were able to soothe Gus' concerns, he's too little to have so much stress in his life.
How nice to see another chapter so soon!

Thank you.

Author's Response:

I don't think we have heard the last of Craig.  Gus loves his Daddy and Papa and knows they have not caused his Mommy's problems.  Glad you enjoyed the latest update.  Thanks, as always, for your review.  I appreciate all your support for the story!!  Bill

Oh what a nice update. It was nice to read about the celebration, letting tillie see Brian now and how far he's come. YAY!! surrogate! Can't wait.

Good to see Deb finally putting Micheal in his place. Mind you, I think it has more to do wit hJR than it does Justin, but either way,as long as she starts really seeing Michael for the snivling little twerp he is.

Not sure about Lindsey. There's so many ways you could take her character now. Definitely curious. Hope her parents forget about her threats and boot her out. Wondering if their reation was actual fear of their own standing in siciety, or just merely stunned and will not pur up wit hher crap. hmmmmmmmm...

Was very excited to see this the other day. Lat reviewing as I hate tyoping on my tablet. :)

cheers and many thanks!

Author's Response:

Glad you enjoyed this chapter.  I think you are correct about Debbie, she is most concerned about JR.  Everyone kind of knows Michael has a blind spot about Justin's relationship with Brian but don't want him involving JR in his silliness.  Lindsay has some real issues and I'm not sure her parents are equiped to deal with them.  I don't like typing on my tablet either!  Thanks for the review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

great update-  nice having achpater without a whole lot of drama-  although I do love the angst.  love that Peter and John are nowfull fledged Kinney's.   can't wait for more

Author's Response:

Glad you enjoyed the latest chapter.  Got to have no angst every once in a while so we can enjoy the angst when it comes.  Thanks for the review!!!!!  Bill

Fantastic update! Nice celebration for John ad Peter along with the change of their last names  Happy  Debbie is seeing how wrong Mikey is about Justin, also Ben ( always thought Ben was too good, smart and nice toe with Mikey).

Don't think Linz is going to last long at her parents.  Just hope she doesn't end up being a surrogate, a surprise one, that has gone through the clinic that Justin and Brian is using. Surly you wouldn't be that mean.

I forgot about Craig and the loan he has with Brian and Justin. Going to be an ineresting meeting with him and Ted.

Cont. to LOVE this fic, so looking forward to next update.

Thanks for sharing!

Always your fan, JoAnn

Author's Response:

Hi JoAnn, always good to hear from you!!!  Glad to know you enjoyed this chapter.  This starts a new happy chapter in John & Peter's lives.  I think they realize how lucky they are to have wound up with the uncles!!  Debbie has always had a soft spot for Justin, she was the first to call him Sunshine.  I think Ben has accepted Michael's obsession with Brian but, like Debbie, he isn't happy about Michael trash talking Justin to JR.  Wow; Lindsay as a surrogate, that would be too weird.  I will not be anywhere near that mean.  I think Ted knows he is in the driver seat for that meeting and Craig won't have  a chance against him.  To be honest I kind of let that story line slide but it took a while to get the reports from the accountant and business consultant - that is my excuse and I am sticking to it.  Thanks for being so loyal about commenting on each update.  I always enjoy reading your comment, although the thought of Lindsay as a surprise surrogate may give me nightmares.  You know I love to get reviews so thanks very much for taking time to post them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

Michael has gotten worse.  At first while reading this chapter I

wondered why people haven’t just sat him down and

explained to him why he is so wrong.  You know, not just that

what he said was wrong, but explain the issue. Then I

remembered in back chapters, people did.  Well – Michael has

reached a point where Brian and Justin should wash their

hands of him.  Simply put, he is just no good.  Sadly he is such

an important character that it is just not possible.

Anyway, we have another line I really enjoyed. They were

going to meet for dinner in a sort of celebration. Sure enough,

so typical of Brian:

Brian frowned. “I hope no one is going to get too

                         sloppy or sentimental.”

I liked that line a lot. Of course we all know just how happy

Brian was, no one happier than him.  In side, though he would

never show it, he was as sloppy and sentimental as anyone.

Thanks again for the story.

DavidR

Author's Response:

I think Mikey is incapable of change.  He wants to be his 14 year old self when he and Brian were best friends.  I never think of him as deliberatley mean just clueless and single minded.  He preferred a screwed up Brina who relied on him more.  I agree that line is typical of the Brian we all know and love.  No outward expressions of emotions suits him best.  Happy to know you enjoyed this chapter.  Thanks for being such a faithful reviewer.  Bill

Sorry Bill, I forgot my questions, Will Hal re-appear? Any chance Justin will become Justin Taylor-Kinney ? somehow I think will bring the small family closer and their will be less jealousy for the new little Kinny showing there is enough love for all of them. Plus the big bonus: Joan will go screaming into the night cause there is nothing she can do! Lindsey will pull her hair out and will look like Kojack! Best of all Mikey will climb a tree, police have to get him down and rush him to a nice padded cell where it can talk to the walls about his bestest friend. Come on giggle I know you want to.

Author's Response:

We are done with Hal, he is not interesting enough to have another story thread for him - I am having enough trouble keeping evryone and evrything straight and not dropping any story threads.  Not a big fan of hyphenated names but I have thought about it.  It might become more of an issue if there are little Sunshines running aorund the house.  I imagine Joan just drinking herself into a stupor.  Maybe Lindsay and Michael can get adjoining padded cells but she may get there first.  I did giggle!!!!  Bill

Hi Bill, I really enjoyed this chapter, you're always worth the slight delay. I'm glad the boys are so happy with Brian and Justin and Gus is really to young to understand even   Clair's sons don't understand her attitude. Mikey aka Dumbf--k was so mean trying to spoil JR's fun with her doll house he is a jealous boob. I think Lindsey has a form of mental illness, I don't like anything about the Petersons but they should be treated with respect they gave her everything she wanted until she wanted Mel and Gus. They should give her a month to find a job and move out so they can sell the house or rent it out due to financial problems. About the people who have a problem with with the drinking, in my family we didn't drink, but on big gatherings on Thanksgiving and on Christmas   I being the only child was allowed a sip of wine, I still only drink on those holidays and I'm in my 60's and didn't turn into a wine-o.please more chapters.

Author's Response:

Glad you enjoyed this chapter.  Sorry my schedule is not strict enough for you.  Mikey pretty much is a jealous boob but I always think he really can;t help himself.  I never think of him as mean just clueless.  I think you may be right about Lindsay.  Lindsay always felt that her parents favored her sister so she may not feel musch gratitude to them.  I do actually think about things before I write the and thought about the champagne,  Gus got a cordial glassfull and John and Peter had two small glasses of champagne.  I am one of those believers in exposing kids to stuff to take away the mystery and appeal of the unknown.  My Dad was a functioning alocholic which I didn't really realize until I was an adult but I drink only rarely in social settings.  I don't think a little champagne will cause any life problems for the three boys but everyone is entitled to their opinions and I respect them. I was going to insert in the story that none of them liked champagne but I didn't bother, oh well.

I will try and meet the arbitrary schedule some of my readers have set for me and get a new chapter posted soon.  Bill

Wow! Such good stuff! Lots going on!

Just remember we want you to keep writing for years!

Lindsey seems to have her parents on the run., while Michael 's Mom is dishing out the rules to him. And Ben seems to be wising up to Michael, or maybe just getting fed up with him.
A good day for B&J, with custody of the big boys and news on the baby front.
Thank you for posting!
Hope you and yours are safe from the fires.

Author's Response:

Happy to know you enjoyed the latest chapter. Lindsay's parents don't seem to have any idea how to deal with her. I think both Debbie and Ben are upset that Michael is tryig to infect JR with his jealousy of Justin. B&J are expanding their family right now and maybe later.  The fires are all on the other side of the mountains but one day the wind direction changed and we dealt with smoke for a day before the winds switched back.  Thanks for the good thoughts!!!!  Bill

So I changed my mind your not allowed to fast forward to get to baby time if you ar still writing this in a year or so when it could legitimately be baby time I will still be reviewing and be annoying you for more chapters tomorrow not in a week

Author's Response:

So you don't want me to agree with you????????  You are a mystery.

Happy for the boys, permanent place to live, a surname they can take some pride in. Good. But given their grandparents backgrounds, they should have celebrated with sparkling cider.
I had forgotten all about Craig and the loan. Teddy is going to be in heaven relaying the news to him. I'm with Tucker, I do think he's going to give Jenn a call. Figures he'll save some money on her commission. Wring!
As for Lindsay, Ron should just pack het bags and put her out on the side of the road. Call her bluff. She'd be too embarrassed to write and tell anyone what's happened to her.

I do look forward to a new chapter.

Author's Response:

I think the name change makes them feel more like one family.  I think we are OK with 2 small glasses of champagne but it is something the uncles should keep their eye on.  I agree that Ted will enjoy telling Craig hat he has to do and I am thinking Tucker is correct. I don't see Jennifer giving Craig any discounts, he may get charge an annoyance fee on top of her commision.  I think the Petersens are going to have quite a bit of trouble getting Lindsay out of that bedroom.  Glad you are still enjoying the story and I appreciate the review!!!!  Bill

“It’s easy to be generous with someone else’s money.” It certainly is Michael. As YOU well know. At this point, I think he knows Justin has his own money, but he thinks if he says it enough, others will believe. And he's stupid enough not to realize the only person he's trying to convice is himself.

I wonder what Ben's strange look is about. You keep saying Ben loves having a helpless partner, but dare I hope he's realizing there's helpless and there's.......Michael?

Author's Response:

Poor Mikey I'm not sure what he knows and what he dreams. Helpless is one thing mean is another, I don't think Ben liked Michael trying to turn JR against Justin.  We wil have to wait and see what happens there.  Thanks for the review, I love to get them and see what readers think of the story.  Bill

Yes it taking more than a week for a new chapter was noticed but it was a good one so not a complaint just me whining for more faster....

Anyone who thinks Michael is done cutting on Justin in front of JR raise your hand no one I thought so...

I love Gus but I have to admit I think you may be trying to kill him you know it's not legal for him to be in the front seat booster or not it's also really dangerous. Sorry I have become really fussy about car seats the more I learn about them my youngest niece will be rear facing until at least 4 because that's when your spine fuses one accident and a forward facing baby can be internally decapitated. Gross I know but my older niece is still in a booster she is 8 it's safer.  They need to keep Justin's small SUV for when Brian has to drive Gus to school and get the bigger one for when everyone is in the car. Public service message over.

I was so happy to find this when I got home today I refresh the site 2 times a day just to see if miraculously there is something new.  I loved how Gis questioned both his Papa and his Daddy' so he could understand why John and Peter are celebrating. I think Craig is going to throw a fit when Ted tells home to downsize it should be pretty funny.  I want Ron and Nancy to have another open house so they force Lindsay out of the house that should be fun, not that it will sell but Lindsay being pissed cause she has to get out of bed will be fun to see.  I liked how the Hospital wanted Greg back not a chance in hell and Hal got fired again yippee.

I almost want a huge fast forward to Justin and Brian bringing home their twins and sorry that's what I keep thinking and either both girls or one girl one boy. That is what is stuck in my head and now I continue to gently hint (or forcefully shove the idea) to you.

fYI I do not see a pink mini van in their future maybe a tricked out Cadillac Escalade in black with every safety feature available.

Another great chapter I am still willing to bribe you for the next one to take less than 7 days what do you like Chocolate, candy, cookies, Lobster gimme a hint....

Author's Response:

One lousy day!!!! Picky, picky. I don't think any rational person beleives Michael will stop complaining about Justin. Strangely our minds travel along similar paths (one of us should be worried). I did consider the whole Gus riding in the front seat thing.  Here is my take on it:  my calculations say that Gus is 7 and will be 8 in a cople months.  He was born when Justin was still in school so I am going to say his birthday is in November - at least that is when it is in my story.  He is also tall for his age since both hsi parents are pretty tall.  So I decided it was borderline OK for him to ride in front but I understand your concern.  I also feel a little emabaressed to have put this much thought into this car thing - now you can understand why it takes a while to post these chapters.

I think Ted will enjoy giving the news to Craig and won't care if Craig has a fit or not.  He really has no options so he is going to have to go along with the requirements or delare bankruptcy. It may take dynamite to get Lindsay out of that room.  I thought we would all enjoy Hal failing at another job.  I agree that we wil need to do some fast forwarding to get to babytime.  I refuse to comment further on baby things at this time!

I will try my best to pst the next chapter in less than a week.  Alway enjoy reading your comments!!!  Thanks,  Bill
