Well this chapter surprised me. I thought we were in for a little more mayhem at the Barbeque. "I had a reviewer give me a hard time over being anti-Michael" you wrote this in a reply to a review I gave; I really hope you didn't change your script because of this. I was waiting on tenterhooks all through this chapter to see the affray and it didn't eventuate. Maybe it was just my expectation. I know I've said it before, but I do like your Jennifer and the way you are writing her.

Author's Response: I wanted the barbeque to be fun but don't worry mayhem is coming. I'm pretty stubborn about my story lines, I hope people like them, but would never change my story just to try and please someone. I don't view Michael as a bad person but he is very immature and has a hard time dealing with the fact that he is not number one in Brian's life. I think that sometimes happens with long time friends when romantic entanglements happen. That is why I don't think of myself as "anti" anyone. Some people just have a lot of issues. This was the best 4th of July chapter ever. I found it funny that Brian had a sexual fear! It was so nice that Jennifer spiked Lindsay's plans, but I wonder what Mikey's going to do and who will be defending Brian and Justin when he makes his move. Because you surely aren't going to let him get away with anything.

Even if there's nothing dramatic happening, it's always a great pleasure to read a new chapter. It's never boring and I'm waiting every week for the next installment.

I think Lindsay and Michael both miss being in first position with Brian. I think she is jealous that first Justin and now the nephews seem to get more of Brian's attention than she does. I loved this chapter!!! :D The 4th of July party was fun to read, and I soooo loved the way that Jennifer put Lindsey in her place..... XD I just hope that Michael and Ben get the story straight soon, and in a peaceful environment, away from confrontations.... Also, I absolutely loved the way that Justin and Gus manipulated Brian into wearing his shirt.... XD Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the next chapter! Hope to read you soon! Kisses!

Someone from another site asked me "pretty please" to update quickly and I promised to update by mid week. Supposed to be a rainy week here so I won't be tempted to spend as much time outside as I was this past week. Wonderful chapter as always...but Lindsay is really starting to grate on my nerves with all of her greed. I'm glad Jennifer and Debbie aren't falling for her bullshit.
