Starting you series again for the 750 something-th time. Always go back to it when I need a good Brian and Justin stayed together and live a happy life story...and of course I love every moment of the good bitch slapping you give Lindsay the grasping bitch and Mikey the wanna be whiner.

I've read the whole series multiple times and just started again. Always meant to comment on this....Mikey always wanted Pepsi and saltines when sick while Brian wanted ginger ale and ritz crackers. That alone says a lot about the differences in little Mikey and Brian.

That was fun to read! Very descriptive and clear. You started with a main character to have feelings for, and added the hero for the moment. Then you leave the reader wanting to know more about these characters.
Loved the hair dryer trick, and I'll probably get some ginger ale tomorrow. It's been decades since I've had any and really like it, too.
Since these stories are epic in size, it'll take me some time to read up to your present day writings. I've added this one to my SSW work breaks for something fun to do.

I have been waiting for your story to be completed before I started reading. I have been burned/disappointed in the past when a good stpry does not get completed. That being said, I was not disappointed this story was wonderful. Even though you left us hanging on several issues. I can't wait to read the sequel. You had me in love with the big personality of Jennifer. She was amazing. Alice too. You write beautifully. You pulled me in and wouldn't let me go some nights way into the morning. Darn that having to work thing! Thanks again for a beauitful story. Looking forward to finding out how things turn out. Oh, I forgot I never liked Mikey, Lindsay or Joan. Great job in writing them.

Love the story. Can you tell me Brian and Justin are life partners and business partners. But are they legal married or had a commitment ceremony. Did they change their names and where rings? I know they are monogamous right?
Author's Response: They are monogamous and they are comitted to each other but no marriage, rings or name changes. Legal marriage wasn't an option in PA during the time period the story is set in. They have a civil union and all their businesses are equally owned by them. Cynthia and Ted have very small ownership stakes in Kinnetik so they could be tie breakers if B&J ever disagree. Molly and Justin's agent, Charlotte have small ownership stakes in TayKin Art. Jennifer has a small stake in KT Properties. All the businesses are seperate corporations. They also have a charity foundation, JB Foundation, a portion of all their corporation go to the foundation. Hope that answers all your questions. Not sure if I ever explained that in the story but that is what has been in my mind as I write the story. They have nver disagreed but when they set this up they didn't want any stalemates in their businesses andthey know how stubborn they both can be. Hmm, you're right about L&M, the characters we love to have annoy us. What would we do without them?
I'm not sure Lindsay and Melanie should stay together; they might be better off as friends, who are always mothers to both Gus and JR. I do hope to see Gus spending at least half his time with B&J. (Lindsay used to be a pretty good friend to Brian--and to Justin--before she became jealous of Justin for his relationship with Brian and his artistic talent. If she can learn to rely on herself, maybe a bit of her friendship with both men can be redeemed.)
Ben seems to cope with that "octave audible only to dogs", so he'll probably support Mikey through his ongoing dependency on Brian. (Justin helped Brian get past his codependency on Mikey; maybe, someday, Ben will manage the same for Mikey. Maybe he'll even grow up enough to become Michael, instead of Mikey. Then Michael and Brian could be friends and, more or less, equals.)
Author's Response: Glad you agree with me about annoying L&M! I think Mel really cares for Lindsay but I'm not sure why. I think Lindsay was a friend to Justin when she thought Brian didn't really care about him and he wasn't a sucessful artist. Now he had a great career and he has Brian, she is less of a friend.
I think Ben also cares for Michael because he can be in charge and Michael is happy deferring to him. Ben knows that Brian will never have any romantic interest in Mikey. Thanks for tow reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill

The story sounds great, though I haven't read it yet. Don't like to start stories until they are finished, so I know how it ends. That's why I'm writing this reveiw. It's more like a question.
How many more chapters and/or when do you think you will be done with this story?
Author's Response: Sorry to tell you that I don't actually have any firm plans to end this story. Still gets good number of readers for each new chapter and still get a nice number of reviews. Hope you'll ready the story anyway, nothing too bad happens in my story but can't say when it will ever be finished. I do promise that I won't leave you hanging in the middle of some story line. When I end it I will tie up any loose ends, I hate when stories just seem to end in the middle of something. Bill

I certainly not liking Lindsay's attitude, she should thank Brian and Justin for all the financial supports instead of being bitchy lol, and I'm sure Claire won't rest her case, she will keep providing drama for B/J household, and surprisingly i'm liking it, it gives dynamic to B/J relationship as well because Claire is Brian's dear sister, not to mention that I guess Joan also will annoy Brian more with her values.

Hey Bill! I've finished all the chapters and curious about what's going on next. I'm such a slow rider, I know!
I hate Claire who almost killed Justin with her sick scheme! god don't let it happen, she needs to get herself together, and Joan the frigid woman, i think from her perspective Indiana is the best state in US and she could consider to live there lol and Lindsay, I've been reading alot of anti Lindsay fics lately and hate her because all the fics I read she grows unhealthy obsession to Brian.

Author's Response: Glad you finished the current chapters and are still enjoying the story. Claire and Joan make it easy to hate them, luckily there is Grandmom Jen to mother everyone who needs it. My Lindsay will not be as obsessed as in some stories. She and Mikey aren't evil they just can't accept they Brian has chnaged and they aren't number one in his life any more. I think that happens sometimes when someone gets "married" their friends have trouble accepting the new person in their life. I always try and post chapters faster but that doesn't happen for some reason? Thanks for the review, i LOVE them. Bill

oh i'm so hooked with your story because this is family-centered story, not really upisde down of BJ relationship, I love that too but sometimes it's emotionaly exhausting even I just read it lol and i love the interaction between all characters in your fic. and how i wish John and Peter could stay with their uncles for a long time, I don't know what you have in store for these boys but four of them would make a cute family together :)

So, saying that I’m late to the party is the understatement of the century. I’ve been meaning to read your story for quite some time.
I thoroughly enjoyed this first chapter! Poor Brian – the flu is never fun, but he’s got a very good caretaker in Justin. Also, $25,000 for a roof? Something seems fishy to me.
