Poor Brian and then add insult to injury. But he will get to be taken care of by Justin! Justin took such good care of him! So glad Justin went to check on Brian!! More info and caring Justin!! These two! I think our little Justin protests too much and it's sad. Unsatisfying victory is right because it's not a victory.

I'm just catching back up to this, so many stories popping up and trying to get my story done in time. I'm not a fast writer, so...
Anyway - ooooohhhhh, so close to a B/J smash moment, but love how you are drawing it out. Liked reading about Justin showing his abilities and a vulnerable, but snarky Brian. Love the snarky Brian.
Enjoying this so much, love the chase between the guys.
Hope to catch up to the other chapters soon. Have work-work to do, a busy time of year for me.

I see you had some luck this time leaving a comment this time.;) Thanks for your perseverance.;) Yeah, I imagine a LOT of things would be painful on the beach if you stepped on them, such as a starfish or even a sharp shell. They actually have such a thing as a "surfer shuffle," where you're advised to shuffle you feet in the shallow water to avoid stepping on a stingray, but apparently Brian didn't learn that - ha!
And you'll be glad to know that Justin is, indeed, cracking under the pressure.;) I just posted the next part, and then after that, he finally caves in (wink, wink). Thanks so much for leaving feedback, Annie! You're very kind.:) *Hugs* ~Kim

I have to admire the strength of will to resist getting Justin to Brian that way.
Brian is using every trick that allows Justin to win, he just has to learn to keep his mouth shut or busy with something else more productive (in Justin for example). It would also be nice that Justin stop being a drama princess with everything Brian says.
Why more that is being frustrating for our favorite surfer (and for us), hope he gets breaks soon the resistance of our beloved and angry lifeguards.
Eager for more.

Damn it Justin....why couldn't he have just told him that he was worried about his father finding out instead of throwing another tantrum....to be fair, he can't keep leading Brian on like that. But kudos to him for knowing exactly what to do to help our beautiful brunet with his injury.

Oh to get so close. It's gotta be frustrating. Like you said one step forward, two steps back. Maybe Emmett can come up with a plan to help? Brian is one HOT surfer and he need some TLC from Justin badly. You worded this chapter so well I felt like a voyeur.

I see someone else has been busy, busy today, although I know you have much of this one written. As much as the UST is killing me - not to mention what it's doing to our dear persistent 'surfer boy', it is still fascinating how they connect and eventually come together in these various worlds. This one is definitely a fun one. I am always anxiously awaiting more! And, undoubtedly, it's always a pleasure to see Justin's more nuturing instincts, especially in regards to one beautiful brunet. Such moments are so IC for him, and I always enjoy them. :)

But I noticed you DID update "Warden's Obssession," so I will have to trot over there shortly to take a peek.;) And yes, if I didn't have it already written, there would be no way I would be updating so fast. But I feel that deadline breathing down my back, and may have to even pick up the pace and post several chapters at once if it draws too near! Will have to wait and see.
