Love how you describe Brian's technique from Justin's POV!  Justin does call it though!  A persistent Brian!  Em getting the dish on the details!  Poor Justin taking the bait.  That was perfect!  Brian rubbing sunscreen on Justin!!

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie! I don't mind if you 'cheated.'  I'm just happy that you're reading this story.:)  I didn't want to start posting it elsewhere until it was finished on here, but yes, you can read the rest all at once now.;)  Thanks for leaving me feedback!  Don't forget to check out all the fan fiction stories for the challenge; they're great!  A lot of the LJ writers posted a story on here, also.  Here's the link:

Brian's antics are just too adorable. And I must admit, I didn't quite get the Gidget analogy other than them both being cute. I was thinking of Sally Field, not Sandra Dee.

You romantic comedy well, but reading this I became nostalgic to read The Secret Admirer again. I get in my mood to do marathons sometimes and get distracted from the new stories. As a matter of fact, I never got my nap. The kid kept me up and now I can't sleep, but I can enjoy some fan fiction and catch up.

Okay, I'm rambling, which means I'm going to pass out soon. :)

Author's Response:

LOL! Well, whatever you do, don't start reading "Secret Admirer" then; you know how long THAT story is!!  You might even have to go all the way back to "Remember Me" if you're looking for the angst.;)  I'm heading off to bed myself. Thanks for all the wonderful comments, Sandra!  Hope you get some rest soon, too.;)  *Hugs* ~Kim

This is funny to me, because my dog's name is Gidget.  She's black and one ear stands up while the other always had a bit of a bend to it.  The shelter named her that because I think she looks like Sally Field's curious-faced Gidget when she's listening to you.  :)

- Jackie

Author's Response:

LOL!  Cute name for a dog.;)  You'll have to send me a photo sometime.;)  Thanks for reading and for all the comments!  Will post another couple of chapters tomorrow - 1st day of teaching tomorrow - ugh. Wish me luck!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Gidget indeed! this chapter was a hoot. Just because I'm blond, I'm not stupid. We all loved this one. Read it to about twenty people who crowded into our little cubby. I feel so IMPORTANT. Ha! anyway they all loved it and will be waiting impatiently for more. lol

Author's Response:

OMG, lindc!  Now I have all this pressure with such a large audience - LOL!  I hope I don't disappoint anyone, and that they like Justin playing a little hard to get.  Don't worry, though, we WILL get to the 'good stuff' eventually.;)  So glad that you are all enjoying it.  BTW, if you haven't had a chance, I think you would enjoy Laura's story about 'P-Town,' too. I know I am.;)

Thank you for reading and for the comments; I will never take for granted all of your support (along with the peeps).  Say hello to everyone for me, and I promise to post another chapter sometime before the day's over.  *Hugs* ~Kim

"You can't do that!"

"What? Tighten the drawstring? You wouldn't want my shorts to fall down would you?" Oh that was hilarious....lol but I can't wait for our dashing duo's lunch date, it will definitely be more interesting than that tuna sandwich that Justin packed ;)

Author's Response:

Hi, Tamara!  Tee hee - I couldn't help myself.  I could just see Justin starting to panic there, couldn't you?  Ha!  I'm evil, I know.;)  Just like Brian. And yes, I think there will be some very interesting 'conversation' going on during that lunch.  You might be surprised, though, by someone's feistiness.;)  I'll post the next part later today. Thanks for all the comments, Tamara!  *Hugs* ~Kim

Okay... I've got a sun lotion scene, too.  Weird... but it's different, so... Our muses must do lunch together.

I love the Gidget reference, I'm showing my age.

Your romance/sexual scenes are so wonderful, I can see and feel it all.

I tell ya, I'm struggling with my fic, I'm exhausted, and my eyes are sore from looking at a computer scene all day for work. I'm so tired, I can't really focus.  I'm so behind and will probably stay behind in reading all the different fics that are popping up by the minute in MW.  I don't know when I'll catch up.

BUT, I look forward to escaping from it all and slip away to CA and the romance dance of the boys.  Your story is nice break from my reality!

All the best,

Laura

Author's Response:

Well, if you ask me, we can NEVER have enough sun lotion/sun blocker scenes, so write way!  "Our muses must do lunch together" - funny!  BTW, you wouldn't know that you're struggling with your story; I think you're doing a wonderful job.  Sometimes you just have to step away for a while and then come back to it. That's kind of what I'm doing today; I just have basically the last chapter to write, but it seems like I've been having to write a little at a time and then come back to it.  It helps to know I still have one more week to finish it, and that it's almost done already.  I'm just about to pass the 50,000 mark now - yowsa!

I'm sure you will find a way to finish it, and the rest of your story will be just as wonderful.  After reading what you have so far, now I want to go to P-town, too!  I've always wanted to go to New England; maybe I'll have the chance next summer.  Closest I've been was to go to the Berkshires to see Randy in a couple of plays.;)  Beautiful area, though.

Thanks again for all the comments, Laura!  *Hugs* ~Kim

Ohhh you are always making me fall in love with your stories sweet Kim! I love the KISS and the sunblock thing....oh my.... Brian is so damn wohhhhooooo super hot flirt! I LOVE IT....more please :) :) :) {{{Hugs}}}

Author's Response:

Hi, Cindy! What lovely comments, Sweetie; thank you so much.;)  And you're right - Brian is sort of that combination of sexy, arrogant asshole and bad boy that makes you fall in love with him.  I suspect that Justin will soon be wrapped up in his spell.  But first I think our feisty little blond will put up a good fight.  Of course, that will only make Brian even more interested.;)

I will have the next part posted later today - and maybe a bonus one after that.  Thanks again, Cindy, for all the support!  It means the world to me.  *Hugs* ~Kim

you are really fast with updating this one :-)

looking forward to the next chapter

oh and by the way, you once mentioned that you were thinking about writing a mpreg... are you still thinking about this? cause i'm kind of waiting for this story *makes cute puppy eyes*....

Author's Response:

Hi, Kiddo!  Thank you for reading and for taking the time to comment; I hope you're enjoying their frolic on the beach.;)  About the updating - how I wish I could do this with ALL my stories!  I actually was writing this one on the side in between everything else, since I knew it had to be finished by 8/25.  So except for the very last chapter, it's pretty much done.  I just have to have time to get it posted.  Hence the fast updates.;)

As for the mpreg, I know there are two camps about that. But to answer your question, yes!  I have the title, banner, and general outline of the story already constructed.  The big problem is just finding time to write it!  I don't dare start a new (WIP) one unless I have one of my others done, because I have a strong suspicion this would be a long one.  But yes, I DO intend to write one.  I have always wanted to, and I think I have a fairly unique plot that hopefully will hold my readers' interest. So I do hope you will check it out once I start posting it. It will be a while, though; I would like to do my Tricky story next to finish that series up. I owe readers a wedding there first.;)

Thank you again for reading and for your support!  I really appreciate that.  *Hugs* ~Kim

This story is hugely entertaining!!! I love that Brian has to sweat for a change, though I can't see Justin resisting for long ( who would??).....

Can't wait for the fireworks at lunch :)

Author's Response:

Aww..thank you so much for your lovely comments! I'm thrilled that you're enjoying this story.  Justin may just display a little more willpower than we think.  Everyone might be surprised. But we know that eventually he's not going to be able to hold out - like you said, no one could!  Thanks for reading and especially for taking the time to comment!  I will have their lunch posted later today.;)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hello, my dear friend!
Her story is so wonderful. Your images are so vivid that I feel watching a movie to imagine them going.
Brian is very good as a persecutor. He is relentless! Poor Justin! Is fighting with all his strength to resist and we know that Brian is useless.
Spending lotion on body who are interested is commonplace around the world, is not it? Was very sensual!
As you might imagine, I had no idea what was a Gidget, thanks to you, now I know. Who said that fanfiction is not culture? Loved how you used the surname.
Many hugs, dear!
Fatima.

Author's Response:

Resistance is futile... Lunch it is...

Later Darling ~ Kathleen

Author's Response:

Ha! Been watching those Borg reruns again?:)  I'm actually a closet trekker, too (I heard they don't like 'trekkie' - LOL!).  Well, let's see how long "Gidget" can hold out. He just might surprise everyone a bit. Thanks so much for reading and for the comments, Kathleen!  It is greatly appreciated. I will have another part up later today.;) *Hug*  ~Kim

Ohh, this is such fun!

Gidget? LOL Hadn't thought of that in years!

Love this Brian. So, so, beachy-snarky.

Roni

Author's Response:

"Beach-snarky" - that's great, Roni! Love that.:) I'm very honored that such a great writer as yourself is enjoying this one.;)  I used to love those old Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello and Sandra Dee/James Darren movies. They were hokey but I still enjoyed them just the same.  With "Gidget," I loved how she made Moondoggie jealous and how she was desirable even when she didn't quite realize she was.  I guess a little bit of that is being transferred into this story, although I suspect that Justin knows he's quite attractive already, and is not nearly as innocent.  BTW, I did have a "Moondoggie" reference in the story at some point regarding Brian, but it was deleted somewhere along the line.  I think the "Big Kuhuna" makes an appearance, though - ha!

Thanks again for reading and for the comments, Roni!  I appreciate that so much, and I hope you continue to enjoy the story.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

omg I LOVE this soooo much!!! I love how persistent Brian is :)

Author's Response:

Thank you, Julieta! I get a lot of pleasure out of knowing how much you're enjoying this.;)  Yes, Brian is persistent, but in a cute, arrogant, way.  I think you'll find that Justin isn't going to budge much; at least not yet. No fun in that.;)  Thanks again for all the comments and for reading; I'll post another part later today.  *Hugs*  ~Kim
