Playing a little catch up on all the challenge stories, Vonnie. Sorry I haven't been able to review before now.  Lovely story; sweet and hot, and I loved all the little details about Ireland. Would love to go one day.  And I always thought Maureen O'Hara had such classic beauty; I loved watching her as an actress.  I can't remember the name of the movie, but my favorite was the one with her and John Candy.

Thank you for participating in the challenge!  And good luck.;) Although I think everyone here is a winner just for entering. I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every story.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi Kim,

I'm seeing your beautiful comment now, thank you so much for reading my story. I think you are right, we are indeed all winners aren't we?

I think you film you are referring to is Only The Lonely, not sure if I saw that but Maureen is a great actress. She still comes to Cong you know, she was there last year too.

Hello, Yvonne!
I did not have much information about Ireland, now thanks to you, I have several pictures of this beautiful country in my mind.
I loved the cast that you climbed. Mainly, Colin Farrell. Imagine Brian, Justin and Doyle was breathtaking.
Loved the story!
Hugs!
Fatima.

Author's Response:

Hi Fatima, Wow thank you so much for your beautiful comment my friend. Yea, I had fun with Brian, Justin and Doyle very much lol.

I had a lot of fun visiting Ireland, thanks to your story, Vonnie.  Brian certainly does like to show his Justin a wonderful time.  But what is it about our boys that makes so many of us stick them into those tiny little airplane bathrooms, doing the deed... I wonder?  LOL!  I guess it is just the fact that we wish Brian was doing it with us in the bathroom instead.  Hmmmm?

Seriously, I enjoyed the images of the scenery and the people a great deal.  I'm not fond of scenes where Brian and Justin are with anyone else, but so much of the story was fun that I can easily ignore my preferences on that score.  I'm so glad you got this work finished and added it to the Summertime list.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Author's Response:

I'm so happy you like this sweet grammy :)

I wish Brian did the naughty deed with me anywhere lol, as I'm certain we all do.

The scenery was indeed very stunning, I wanted to make sure before posting this story that all my readers saw first hand where the boys would go that's why I posted the images in my journal.

I don't think I toyed with Brian and Justin doing the deed with others before and I know alot of folks don't like it, which is why I thought of them doing this in each others company, then its not tooooooo bad I think lol.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting grammy, it really made me smile :)

Author's Response:

I don't suppose you heard them then? lol. No wait, his mouth was covered, but you probably would have if Brian hadn't done that lol.

I'm so glad you liked and commented, thank you so much darling ~ yvonne xx

When I imagine all the actors in the roles, I got so excited. Though Brian is always joking, his love for Justin comes through.  I really enjoyed the fact that this was a different kind of story.  Everyone isn't upset or getting hurt.  I love Ireland, too.

Connie

Author's Response:

I wanted Liam Neeson so much in this story, that is why I decided to give him a small part. I had already planned the cast but wrote him in especially.

I wanted this to be different, I really wanted my readers to come along for the vacation too in some way. To maybe fee part of the story if that makes sense.

Brian had to show his love for Justin in this, I wanted him to point it out but to not feel freaked out if Justin said anything to him about it. That's why I made Justin hold back. He already knew Brian loved him anyway I think.

No, no one was to be upset or hurt in any way in this story, I wanted a happy Irish story for the boys, where love was the main ingredient lol.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting, Connie - Yvonne xx

You had me captivated right up until the men stopped to ask directions.  It is genetically impossible for a man to ask for directions.  They would rather get lost.  LOL  I was hoping to visit Ireland this year, but my health put that on hold.  I’m hoping now it will be in 2014.  You should change your occupation to tourist guide or ambassador.  Please remember we are waiting for updates on “I Need You In My Life” and “Falling for Justin”.

Oh, I must tell you this.  I stumbled on a fic by qafcrazy called “Falling for Brian”.  It was started in 2010, but never finished, and is based on the movie “Falling for Grace.”  I haven’t read it as it doesn’t look like it will ever be finished now, however, I perused it and it’s interesting how the same movie can come up with two completely different fics.  The weird thing is the author has written and finished a fic this year, but has quite a few unfinished ones from 2010 to 2012.  I know that’s useless information to you, but I thought you might like to know.

Good luck with the challenge.

Cheers

Author's Response:

Yes, men never ask for directions. Ever actually, that I know of. But I wanted Liam Neeson in this story too and had my cast all figured out from the start which didn't include him, so I wrote him in this way.

I really hope your health returns to you, not just so you can visit Ireland but anyway.

Lol, I had a book to help with all the locations and stuff, but I did go to them as well, except for the cottage that has now turned to ruins but my parents saw it.

The only comparison to Falling For Grace that my Falling For Justin has is that they meet, Justin lies about stuff and Brian finds out. It's just the plot really it's not a corbon copy at all. I'm working on that now that this story is completed.

Thanks for reading and commenting hon - Yvonne xx

I wish someone would have offered me a trip during my spring breaks - course that was ages ago.  There had to have been a lot of research for this story, it was amazing.  The Irish sure are friendly, aren't they?

Author's Response:

I did do alot of research, and also personal experience for some of it. We are quite friendly. It's how we are seen I think. But I know alot of people are unfriendly too, so don't read too much into it lol.

This had so many wonderful elements - B/J loving relationship, hot sex scenes, a wonderful, old, romantic movie reference and landmarks, the beauty of Ireland, and a ring!  Who could ask for more!  It's light, bubbly, and a real nice change of pace from the serious, angsty stories. (Not that there is anything wrong with the other stores!  LOL)

What I liked most is that this story whisks the reader to Ireland and let's us escape into it.

Thanks so much for posting this here.

All the best,

Laura
