really hate Mel & Linds! I've never liked them in the series, always blamed Brian for everything, and yet took an advantage on Brian because of Gus, and never felt guilty of that.
way to go Brian & Justin! I love how you wrote about them, to stand up for Gus, be there for him. I hope once Gus reach his 18th birthday, he'll choose to stay with his dads and leave his evil moms behind.

So many awesome elements. Gus near Brian and Justin, Justin present and active in the life of Gus and a good anti-Lindsay and Mel.
I never really liked Lindsay, always seen as a manipulative and cunning. Believed throughout the show (and have never seen anything to make me change my mind) she always envied Justin, Brian not only because she loved him, but also because of his talent, far superior to hers. To me, she is largely responsible for the separation of the two at the end of the show.
As for Mel, I always saw her as influenced by Lindsay, but I recognize that it also has its share of responsibility.

What a powerful chapter. There is so much emotion tied into the words, that I don't even know where to start.
Admittedly Mel and Linds were not my favorite characters because of the way they always tried to manipulate situations to fit their needs. Brian signing over his rights and pushing Justin to go to New York are perfect examples. So don't apologize for getting it right where they are concerned ;)
I do have to say that I wouldn't want to be in their shoes when Brian starts to verbally stomp a mudhole in their asses.

What a perfect title. From Justin's indignation over being told not to come to Gus' graduation to Gus' own after hearing Melanie and Lindsay shows that this story is going to be outstanding. I never liked Mel or Lindsay. They always manipulated Brian to get what they wanted, using Gus as their leverage. I can't stand people like that! I had high hopes when I saw there would be a lesbian couple on the show, but I was really disappointed in them.
Don't worry, Gus has his eyes wide open now, and he's got a few surprises up his sleeve for both his mothers.

I never have liked Mel and Lindsay, and this story just kind of started rattling around in my head. And Justin has loved Gus since the night he was born, so I kinda knew this was the way he'd act about it. Hell hath no fury than an angry twink! LOL
