Wow. You write Brian with such candour- and first person POV's for him are extremely difficult to pull off. You definitely chose the right scene for this- there was so much sexual tension between them at the end of 3x04 it was blindingly obvious the spark was still there. I also loved the introspection throughout. Very touching.

I find it extremely anxiety provoking (I know its ridiculous, but there it is...). I'd love to repost S&F and IHK/Together here, but just the thought of it makes me hyperventilate.
But I do have something new coming up, so I wanted to do a 'dry run' post here to check out just how hard it would be to do on this site. Not too bad. Blech. Still hate posting, though.

That is one of my favorite scenes. You can see them both hurting and longing for the other, this was a good ending. If Brian could admit these feelings to himself may he could say them to Justin.
Author's Response: That scene, IMO, is the quintessential B/J moment. Their entire relationship in an eggshell, the angst, the stubborness, the miscommunication, but above all the love.
And then, they went and wrote season five. *shakes head*

We can all use some fluffy shmoopiness from time to time.
First time I saw that episode I recognized Brian leaving his door open was very telling... it was no wonder Brian was such a prick in the following episode. Justin had stopped reading Brian, couldn't understand what wasn't said, and while he didn't deserve Brian's coldness, there was no reason he shouldn't have seen through it.
