Hmmmm......I understand Shane wanting be released from the hospital asap, but I still think they should've at least given it 24hrs. Even though he got her discharged I'm still not fond of Slatter. There is just something about him that rubs me the wrong way and I feel like Shane is going to get hurt in the end.

Author's Response: Shane has been dealing with her 'addiction' for a very long time. Rena is her physician, and got her to stop. Staying in the hospital would have just made Shane worse. They would have pumped her with drugs and that was the last thing she needed. She needed to be with family. Slatter is a funny character, I hope you'll warm up to him later. :-)

When you are tramatized as a child, that child never really gets over it. She doens't feel like an adult when it comes to Emilian .She fells like that abused child.

Kudos to Justin for getting John to realize that he couldn't run from his problems or find the solution to them at the bottom of a bottle. Brian also needs to heed Justin's advice before his drinking causes some real problems between them.

Author's Response: Justin was always impulsive... All this is new to both of them, it's almost 'too' good to be true. Brian always expects something to go wrong, (doen't trust his good luck) and Justin has a lot of history with Brian falling back on old bad habits.
John has not felt anything for anyone since his wife died... Rena struck something in him he thought dead for a long time.

Wow this chapter was so touching and moving. I think at some point I had tears in my eyes (I will deny it, if someone asks of course).
Brian was "so cute" with his plan to have Justin move with him. Well done, there was such an intimacy between them that I felt like an intruder!!!! Just Beautiful. It's my favourite chapter so far (ok I may say that a lot during this story).

You totally captured Justin's nature, he is reckless lol. He didn't really occur to me while watching the show but he went out, for the first time, on his own, at 17 in liberty avenue, at night. He didn't even have a mobile phone. Anything could have happened to him. If one of my brothers did the same. I would kill him. And Daphne she left him there alone? I know being outraged 12 years later is insane but I am. LOL.
I loved Justin's introspection, so far, just like the first time: I am hooked. I'm dying with anticipation, even if I know what's coming! told you I was insane!!!!

Rena is one of a kind!!! If Brian Kinney was a woman it would be her. I really love your secondary characters. They are well written and deep but they don't overshadow the lead ones!!! By the way you wrote a story called love will always win? Why is it not here?
Author's Response: I didn't write love will always win! Someone else did, it was the first qaf story I read. Sorry, I should have clarified that. Not sure who wrote it, but it was great. This was my first story. BTWYTWY. And I'm sooo glad you like the secondary characters! Stay tuned, they have their own stories coming up! :-) Thank you so much for commenting. I'm happy though that I can repost it and introduce it to new readers! I hope to be posting two chapters a day. It's a long story, and I so appreciate your feed back!

Just curious why you would delete this and then turn around and repost it.
Author's Response: I didn't delete it, it disappeared. I've been talking to tech support, and they have no clue what happened to it. I lost all my reveiws, everything. And I had to dig it up from another site because I didn't have back up. (new computer, lost most everything)
But I'm glad to have the opportunity to repost it, and introduce it to new readers. I made it clear in the summary that this NOT a new story. I do hope people will read it again, and maybe some will read it for the first time. It's been floating around forever! I don't have the beautiful graphic Viv made for me, she's trying to dig it up as we speak.

Now I remember this story and it was my inspiration to attempt fan fiction writing myself. It was like the first story I read on Whispers - 2009 was the year probably.
