QAF Brian and Justin Fanfiction

In the flashback sequence, Justin is thinking of the first time he saw Brian and it was at Babylon. The flashback also alludes to it being the night before he was to begin school, so I thought it might be a discrepancy in the story...no biggie, and yes I'm enjoying this story muchly!  I think it's a good collaboration. Keeps things from being too sweet. :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Kelly - thanks for the followup note.  I see what you mean now.  I think that was supposed to be before the two actually met face-to-face at Woodys; perhaps Justin was at Babylon initially and noticed Brian then. But I could see why they might look like a discrepancy.  One of the hazards of co-writing a story, I guess.;)  I'm glad it's not affecting your enjoyment of it, however.  It was a challenge to co-write with someone in a different country/time zone, so not sure if I would do it again. But it was an interessting endeavor!

Thank you for letting Mika and I know that you are enjoying the story.  We appreciate the feedback.  ~Kim and Mika

I thought the first place Justin saw Brian was at Woody's the night before his first day of school at St. James...

Author's Response:

Hi, Kelly - it was. This was their first 'official' date, however. Not quite sure what you are asking (?). Would be glad to respond if you want to clarify it for me. I hope in either case you're enjoying the story. (?)  Mika, my co-writer and I, appreciate the feedback.  ~Kim

Wowwie, what a date. Ex-5 minute stand is the waiter, that just sucks, no pun intented.  But, love how the chapter wove around the obstacles and brought B/J together at the end.  Lovely!

All the best,

Laura

I love this story.  I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens when everything is out!  Can't wait for your next updates:)

Author's Response:

Hello there! Thank you for reading our story and for the comments!  That makes both Michal and I very happy to hear that you are enjoying this!  (Michal prefers that I respond to the comments).:)

I love this story idea that Michal came up with, and I'm really enjoying co-writing it.  She is working on her part of the next chapter right now, so an update should be posted very soon.  As you can imagine, things will be getting quite heated and tumultuous for a while until this unlikely triangle is resolved.

Thank you again for reading and for taking the time to leave us your thoughts; that is so motivating to both of us.  *Hugs*  ~Michal (Starshine-Green) and Kim (Predec2)

Very hot and sexy chapter. So, after the big reveal, are Brian & Justin gonna double date with Gus & Tristan? Love your extra banner, too, Michal. TAG

Author's Response:

Hi,Tag! Ha! Well, I don't think their dating arrangements will be that cut and dried as soon as father and son discover what's going on.  I think that is when the real angst is going to kick in for sure.  And Brian's choices along the way just might surprise some people.  Thanks so much for reading and taking the time to leave your thoughts, Tag; both Michal and I really appreciate that.:)  *Hugs*  ~Michala and Kim

Great story! I didn't know about this. Why you don't have this on LJ? And when next chapter? You make my next addiction! :-p

Author's Response:

Hi,Sweetie!  Great to see you on here.:)  I've been having major posting issues on LJ, for one thing; that's part of the reason for not posting it over there.  Plus it's being co-written with someone else who is not on LJ, so I think I would need to get an okay from her before posting it from my journal.  I will probably wait until it's completely finished and then see if she wants me to post it on there.  But thank you for reading this one and for the feedback.  That makes both Michal (my co-writer) and I very happy. I hope you will continue to enjoy it.:)  *Hugs*  ~Michal and Kim

"For just one fleeting moment, he thought that this must be what Gus might have felt like as he waited for his own date to appear yesterday."

Brian was so perceptive with that thought. He and his son are so alike, LOL.

“…so the idea of experiencing one, mind-blowing night with this gorgeous specimen of man - even if for just a brief interlude - was more than intriguing to him.”

So Justin did do a little stalking of Brian. Justin wanted Brian and went after him. This is not a young, naive Justin enamored with the man who took his virginity. Maybe Brian fell for Justin quickly because he was confident, more mature and less needy. When Justin was on that catwalk, I could not help thinking of Brian doing the same thing. They seem to be similar in attitude and taste.

"I can't believe you're here! Brian Kinney actually came looking for ME!"

I could not help feeling sorry for Mark. I’m surprised it didn’t happen to Brian more often.

"It somehow made me feel less lonely,"

I’m very interested in knowing exactly what Justin’s back ground is.

I love the pictures. That Tristan and his tattoo look yummy! Not a bad consolation prize.

Author's Response:

Hello, Sandra.:)  Glad that you liked the photos that Michal chose to represent Kayla and Tristan; I told her that I think the dragon tattoo is just as I had imagined it; quite elaborate!  Very perceptive of you in your description of Justin; I agree - while he has had his share of disappointment in his life, he has had to grow up fast and is by no means a shrinking violet.  I do seem some similarities as well between Justin's night at Babylon and how Brian acts when he is at the club.

If only Brian realized just how much he and Gus DO have in common - ha!  We all know the big reveal is coming; and it's certainly going to be a major shock for everyone.  As far as Justin's back story goes, I do see some more being revealed regarding his childhood at some point, so hopefully that will answer some of your questions.

Thank you for reading this latest chapter and for the insightful comments, Sandra; Michal and I are very appreciative.  We'll get this updated again soon.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Wow, brilliant chapter! Apart from amazing date, it also has some unexpected moments, such as a flashback. I love those things!:) And I loved Brian being nervous about his date with Justin, he must feel very out of character – it’s funny that he’s experiencing all those emotions in the age of 32 for the first time in his life. The way he looked at Justin when he was approaching him… ah, it was so beautiful! You definitely know how to describe man in love.

Justin’s first visit to Babylon was incredible! Along with his first one-sided meeting with Brian. It was like I watched him through Justin’s eyes, feeling that dangerous, sexual atmosphere surrounding him. I loved the idea of the backroom being named after Brian – that’s so hilarious and so true!:) Brian’s cold attitude and disdain to those he already slept with always make it even more impressive when he concentrates his whole attention on Justin – I adore reading about everyone’s reaction when they see how smitten with the blond Brian’s become. Of course, even being in love he remains Brian Kinney, overwhelming and dangerous - Justin isn’t innocent himself, but I’m afraid that Brian anyway has all chances to break his heart. Though I suppose it goes both ways.

I love the way Justin is able to soothe Brian, to calm his nervousness and maybe even fear. He knows him so well already. The moment with that crazy admirer was so amusing – I couldn’t stop laughing!:) Brian’s shock and Justin’s amusement were something indescribable:) Poor hopeless Mark, he certainly behaved like a madman. He’ll be lucky not to lose this job. And it’s great that Justin is mature enough to laugh, not be offended by the whole situation. It’s a pity, though, that he and Brian can’t even go to a restaurant without running into one of his tricks. This could be really embarrassing.

Ooh, Gus and Tristan’s interactions are really amazing! Gus is clearly affected by him, though of course not as much as he is by Justin – at least not yet. And if Tristan chooses to cancel his plans so just to spend some time with him, it already means a lot. Thank you for the photos, by the way! Now I can envision both Tristan and Kayla much more better:)

I’m so impressed how you turn the most ordinary and banal things into something incredible, unusual and completely unforgettable. When Brian and Justin were watching stars, I was overwhelmed with emotions! It was so beautiful and touching, especially when Brian assured Justin that he will never feel lonely again. I instantly fell in love with the phrase that Justin makes him look at everything in a new way – this is so true to fact when someone is in love! And knowing Brian, his character and his beliefs, it means much more than it would if it was someone else in his place. If man like Brian falls in love, this is for good. That is one of the reasons why I so strongly believe in bright B/J future after 513.

Their love-making was so beautiful and tender, I loved every moment of it! And I was both shocked and excited when Brian longed to say those three words! He didn’t, but he wanted to – it already means *so* much!

Thank you, girls – the chapter was amazing, as always!

Author's Response:

Hi, Katrin!  As usual, Michal and I am blown away by all the time you take to leave us your comments!  And if we have evoked some emotion in you as you read this, that means a lot to both of us.  You are so thoughtful in the way you describe which parts of the story that you are enjoying; and it gives Michal and I such a thrill to know how much you are enjoying this story.

I do see a definite attraction between Gus and Tristan, but Gus is still in the 'enamored' stage with Justin, so I feel he can't quite see what is right in front of him yet.  Let's hope there is promise there, however, because we all know where Justin's heart lies.  The path is certainly not going to be a smooth one, however; in fact, it's liable to possibly blow father and son apart.

Thank you again for reading and for all the time you take to leave your thoughts, Katrin; both Michal and I always look forward to your response.  We hope you continue to enjoy this story, and we'll get it updated again soon.  *Hugs*  ~Michal and Kim

Oh my god, Brian and Justin are falling deeper and deeper for each other. Deeper and deeper...with Brian and Justin that's always a good thing. Lol. Oh man I can't wait for more. I love the way they are. Gus needs to open his eyes and see what's staring right at him...Tristan. Yes!! They would make such a cute couple. Keep him away from Justin...lol. Let Gus see that Justin has a boyfriend...anything. Ahhh. I love this story so much. Can't wait until more comes. Thanks for writing for us. Take care.

Author's Response:

Hi, Tay! You're so sweet with your comments; Michal and I are very grateful for your support.:)  LOL - I wish I could tell Gus "hands off," but what would be the fun in that?  Poor fella; he just doesn't see the forest for the trees, does he?  And as you mentioned, it's obvious how much Brian and Justin are falling for each other, which is going to make things quite tense coming up.  Let's just say they're all going to be in for quite a shock very soon, and Brian will be the one right in the middle, not Justin.  Will he sacrifice Justin's love or Gus's?

Thank you for reading this latest chapter, Tay, and for your wonderful feedback!  That is very motivating to both Michal and me.  We'll get this updated again very soon - I think there's a ballgame coming up.;)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

BTW - I hope you'll be participating in the Spring challenge coming up; I'm still trying to decide if I can handle another one, even if it IS completed beforehand!  *Hugs*  ~Michal and Kim

I loved this chapter alot darling. It was so romantic ~ Yvonne xx

Author's Response:

Hi, Vonnie! Michal and I are happy that you liked it.:)  I think it was time the boys experienced a little more 'loving,' don't you?  At least before the 'you-know-what' hits the fan, which is bound to happen eventually.  Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment, Sweetie; we both really appreciate that.  *Hugs*  ~Michal and Kim

This chapter was wonderful. The date between Brian and Justin, Mark (poor guy....), Tristan & Gus..perfect. Did you think about someone in particular for Tristan (actour, model, singer...)?
I don't know why but I'm sure that «you'll never, ever be lonely again» will be source of tears later. Thank you :)

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  Michal and I thank you for reading this latest chapter and for the comments.  I would have to ask Michal about Tristan's character; I'm not sure if she had someone in particular in mind for him or not.:)  He does sound pretty hot to me, though - ha!  And I suspect you're right - I'm not sure if there will be issues surrounding the 'lonely' part, but I DO know that things will not be all rosy in this story; there will be some real issues involving love and devotion that will need to be addressed when the three discover what's going on.

Thank you so much for reading and for going to the trouble of leaving your feedback; and if I have not told you before, thank you, also, for the favorite author designation; that means a lot to me.:)

Michal and I should be able to update this again very soon.  *Hugs*  ~Michal and Kim

Oohhh what a lovely chapter both Brian and Gus starting to see people differently :) I think Tristan is going to make the shock of Justin being with Brian slightly more palatable for Gus

Author's Response:

Hi, Chris!  Well, hopefully that will happen at some point; but Michal and I have some hurdles to overcome before everything is resolved; and there's going to be some heavy angst coming up for a while.  Thank you for reading and for the comments, my friend; we should be able to update this again very soon.  *Hugs*  ~Michal and Kim

Hello Kim and Michal! :) :) :)

I love this chapter. It shows the romantic side of Brian much more. And there is one thing I notice, Maybe I have missed some details in previous chapters but...Is Tristan gay? Coz I can sense a little attraction between Gus and Tristan. Well, I hope...coz it will be perfect if Gus will fall in-love with his best friend's brother! :) :) :)

{{{Hugs}}}

Author's Response:

Hi, Cindy!  *Hugs* back to you, my friend.:)  Yes, I think it's a safe bet that Tristan is gay; not sure if that has been mentioned before or not; I don't think so.  But there is definitely an attraction of some sort going on between the two of them, and a deepening bond, I would say.  That may be Gus's lifeline when he discovers the truth about his father's 'love.'  And, of course, Brian is really going to be in a big dilemma here once that is uncovered.

Thank you for reading and for leaving your comments, Cindy!  Michal and I are very appreciative of your support; we'll work on getting this updated again very soon.  ~Kim and Michal

This is really something of a story-just keep leading us on for the showdown.  Soooo good.  Am really enjoying this one.  You two are the dynamic duo.  Props to you.

Author's Response:

Hi, lindc, my dear!  I hope you're still not working quite as hard as the last time (more than one shift).  And I hope you all have a wonderful time at Lee's new digs today!  Michal and I are thrilled that you're enjoying this one, my friend.  So many facets to this story - and there's bound to be some heartache occuring here shortly that will need to be addressed.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for leaving your thoughts; sounds like life is crazy for you right now, so we both really appreciate that.  Tell Lee, Brian, Nonie, and all the others that I said hello!  *Hugs*  ~Kim and Michal

Very hot!!!! Although the star-struck trick at the restaurant was hilarious :)

Oh sweet little Gus, Tristan is just dying for you to notice him. I do wonder though, does Kayla know her brother is gay? Has she even suspected it? And how will she react when she finds out that Tristan is interested in her best friend?

You know I can't wait to find out ;) JP

Author's Response:

Hi,Tamara - Michal and I can always count on your support with this story; thank you so much for that, my friend.  Hmm..interesting question about Tristan and whether Kayla knows or not; Michal is the 'driver' of the plot for this for the most part, so I'll have to run that by her.  I imagine Kayla would be fine with it if they DO wind up together.  But before that happens, a lot of drama is about to unfold, I'm afraid.  Glad you liked the boys' 'interlude' in the meantime.;)  We should be able to update this soon; before we can do that, though, I need to trot back over to "Stallion" to complete the next part of that.  Thanks again for reading and for the comments, Tamara; we both really appreciate that, my friend.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

"For just one fleeting moment, he thought that this must be what Gus might have felt like as he waited for his own date to appear yesterday." That sentence amused me so much.

And I love that Brian isn't hiding his feelings. Well, at least not to himself.
And on top of waiting for the confrontation scene, I am now waiting for something to happen between Gus and Tristan.

Author's Response:

Hi, Nikki! Well, at least we've given you plenty to think about now - LOL!  I sense some definite foreboding in this chapter; you know it's about to all come out fairly soon, and probably with disastrous results.  (Of course, we wouldn't have a story if we didn't throw the angst in there..).

And yes, I couldn't help including that sentence in there; how ironic is that??  If only he knew it was the same guy he and his son were pining over at the moment...

Michal and I thank you for reading and for the comments, Nikki; we'll get this updated very soon - Michal tells me the ballgame is up in the next chapter!  Thanks again.  *Hug*  ~Michal and Kim
