Okay, I saw this and had to see what you did with this story. I have to say, this was a fun read. I laughed so hard when justin said 'what big eyes you have.' Oh and don't  get me started on what other big part of brian's anatomy justin commented on ;) You had me smiling all the way through this story. Great job.

Author's Response:

This story was so much fun to write.  I love Halloween stories and this one was inspired by the rather spooky version of the red riding hood movie that starred Amanda Seyfried.  I love adult versions of children's classics.  I'm so glad you chose this one to read.  Thank you very much for your fun comments, Boriqua.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Yaaaaayyyyy!!! I loved it! And so much more on track than the ones I do! Great job!

Author's Response:

What a wonderfully kind comment, Jon.  Thank you so much.  I checked your page and can see that you are a huge fan of fairy tales too.  There are a lot of lessons to be learned in them if one pays attention to what they are actually saying.  QAF had a ton of valuable lessons to learn about humanity in its stories too, so I love combining  the two together.  I've only written two 'adult' versions of old fairy tales, this one and my version of Rapunzel called 'Rapunzel's Cousin'.  I noticed you wrote a Rapunzel version too.  I never seem to have enough time to read anymore, but I'll definitely have to check your story out.  Again, thank you for being so kind.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Thank you very much, JP.  It is so much fun imagining our boys in fairy tale settings.  I appreciate your comments a lot.  Huge hugs, Grammy

I love how you wrote this in true fairy tale form. Brian as The Lone wolf and Justin Red Cloak was very clever. Thank you for sharing this wonderful version.

Cheers

Author's Response:

I love your comments, Flossee.  This is the second B/J version of a 'fairy tale' that I've written and I partiularly wanted the form to sound like a true fairy tale rather than a modern story.  Your comments are such a wonderful affirmation that I succeeded, and I appreciate it a great deal.  Thank you very much.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

That was lovely, romantic, and had a happy ending for the boys.  I couldn't ask for more.  Thanks for sharing that.

All the best,

Laura

Author's Response:

You are most welcome, Laura.  Always a happy ending is my goal for our boys.  Wouldn't have it any other way.  I'm so glad you liked my Halloween 'treat'.  Huge hugs, Grammy

This story gets better with each reading. I just have to sigh and go awwwwww when I reach the end. I have always been partial to wolves and I think Brian makes a perfect wolf. This adult fairy tale is way better than anything I read as a child. Loved the swimming action. I was afraid a large mouth bass in the lake might have been tempted by a wiggly worm before Brian made his move! I have a feeling the red cloak might end up with a rip or two if it keeps being used as a bed...but I'm guessing Justin will be willing to put up with damage of that sort.
Happy Halloween, this is way better than a bucket of candy.
Lori

Author's Response:

Wait a minute...wiggly worm??  What an insult!  We're talking big thick snake here, not a puny little worm.  LOL!  And you know that water action was just for you, Lori.  I tried to find a camel in the forest, but had to settle for the lake.  I'm so happy that you liked my 'treat' for this year, my dear friend.  And don't worry about that red cloak...I suspect the Wolf will be more than willing to buy him as many as needed to keep his mate happy forever after.  Thank you so much for all your support.  Warmest hugs, Grammy
