I think this is the best dark Brian..... I especially loved what he did to Chris Hobbs 😂😂

Author's Response:

This was definitely one of my darkest Brian's, but I do love writing him like that. I guess why I do it so often. I think he fits in these roles and it's fun to let him loose. LOL.

Thanks so much for commenting! :)

Oh my God, I cannot believe this story is finished! What an amazing piece of art. I enjoyed every chapter! I'm glad 'Trapped' was rewarded, it deserves it. Exciting and full of love - it was great seeing how Brian was changing slowly. And Chris' destiny! What an evil, fantastic plan! THANK YOU! I love it!

Author's Response:

I love when a story that had such darkness can end like this. So much changed from where they started. Brian was such an unfeeling and unapproachable man... and he evolved more than I even thought possible. It was such fun taking him on that journey. I'm very glad you enjoyed this. I know these dark themes aren't for everyone. I am honored that it was found worthy of that reward. That truly means a lot.

Thanks for reading and commenting! :) *Hugss*

This is the first dark Brian AU story that I've finished and I have to say that I loved it a lot more than I thought I would. Slowly seeing Brian love in such a deep way is definitely a wonderful journey to take. I really enjoyed the level of drama in this story, I felt it was in all of the right places and not too much! An absolutely perfect ending too! I absolutely love your writing and plan to read as many of your stories as I can! Just wanted to leave a comment saying how much I enjoyed this and hope to see more dark and extremely AU/OOC stories from you! (:

M.

Author's Response:

Well I am very glad you enjoyed it. I warned from the onset that this one probably wasn't for everyone. Some readers didn't heed that advice and got a bit angry when they read it... but I did warn them. :)

Excluding some oneshots I wrote earlier on after I first discovered QAF, I primarily write AU. I just like to get into the different premises where our special boys can meet in a different way. That's just exciting to me. Overall you will find most of my AU stories featuring a Dark!Brian. I do see him as a darker soul with many issues - often trust - to resolve. I really enjoy the process of letting him find his way out of that darkness in the only way that a man such as himself truly can - through his love for Justin. It's always a fun journey for me, and I hope those that read these stories share that feeling too. :)

Thanks so much for reading and the feedback. That is truly a great motivation for me. *Hugss*

It’s hard to believe that this great story has come to the end. I remember time when it had only a few chapters – I didn’t really know you as an author then, but the summary got me so interested, I was fighting whether to read it or not – usually I preferred not to start on works that are still in progress, but then I looked at your other stories and realized they were finished/being updated regularly, so I decided to try. I didn’t regret it! I love the structure of all your works – you always write everything carefully, create very interesting characters (and DarkBrian has been my weakness for a very long time), and you never rush the ending. Not to mention surprises you give us throughout the story. This chapter has a big one, too.

I would never, *never* in a million years think of this kind of punishment for Chris! This idea alone is already incredible and unique, I’ve never seen anything like that, but then I guess it’s completely in character with this Brian. He surprised me with Craig, but with Chris – I can’t even describe just how shocking it was! Brian managed to both get rid of the threat and make Justin happy without abusing his trust by making a wrong decision. Poetic irony, that’s for sure. Justin’s reaction to big news was simply indescribable! I laughed uncontrollably too. My God, how did you even come up with something like that?! I spent some time during the previous day thinking of what Brian might plan, but *this*! I had no idea. It’s cruel, of course – beyond cruel, but Chris deserved it. He didn’t hesitate when he almost killed Justin, so this fate might even do some good things to him. Maybe he’ll stop being so afraid accepting his own homosexuality. I’m sorry only about one thing – that we didn’t see ourselves Chris’ reaction after being informed of Brian’s plan. But it’s great that Brian told Justin the juiciest details! I enjoyed them immensely as well.

Poor Rafael, I think the only thing that saved him is Justin. If it was not for him, if Brian wasn’t afraid to disappoint him and didn’t want to get to him as soon as possible, Rafael’s fate might have not turned so good. But then again, if not for Justin, he wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place. Brian has changed a great deal and in a variety of ways, I think some things just stopped being that important to him. He is more relaxed, calmer now… he is absolutely in love. It’s great that so many people can notice it already – it’s a pity though that Ethan isn’t here to witness all of this. He would be beyond shocked and outraged, that’s for sure! Ha, I’d *love* to see his reaction to Brian and Justin’s idyll.

Ha, no matter what, Brian can be sooo infuriating! When he called Justin Princess, I was afraid out blond would just explode with anger – this was exactly the term he would better not hear. Not when he is rather unsure of his place in Brian’s life. Luckily, all doubts disappeared really quickly – I think even Justin could see how much he means to this man who is ready to do just about everything for him. Your humour is fantastic – I couldn’t stop laughing when Brian said about on/off switch that would help him skip Justin’s ‘queen out’s’. Ha, I’ve never heard something like that before! Hilarious! Especially in combination with upcoming seriousness. I loved how immediately scared Justin got when he thought Brian had just let Chris go, how he suggested running away with Brian without any doubts – just with sheer determination. I think this moment was invaluable for Brian – it proved Justin’s feelings to him one more time. That might be the sweetest thing he’s ever heard at all – to have someone ready to abandon everything and everyone he knows so to be with him, to keep him safe. Justin’s devotion is remarkable.

I always love when you go ahead and show us what life Brian and Justin will have in further months/years. I was so glad to see Jennifer – after having heard so much about her, I was looking forward to meeting her! And Brian – ah, I’ll never get tired of seeing his romantic side. It was so lovely how he wanted to secretly buy all Justin’s paintings when he realized the gallery was empty! Though I’m glad he changed his mind – he clearly believes enough in Justin. The fact that he decided to sell the casino… wow. That was unexpected. I knew Justin didn’t really like that life, but anyway, I didn’t think Brian would go so far. It’s amazing! They have so many opportunities now! They can visit so many places, be always together without being afraid who might decide to threaten them again. What Brian did is Love.

Thank you for this extraordinary exciting journey. I enjoyed it tremendously. I’m so glad you still have many WIPs and even ideas for future stories – it makes me so happy. Maybe one day you’ll decide to write the epilogue to this one (I love when you do it!) :) Thank you!

Author's Response:

Hello, dear friend. It does seem like this journey just began, but really it started so very long ago. In my wildest imagination when I started this story never did I believe I could evolve this version of Brian to such a degree. Love can truly change anyone. I think this story is a testament of that! I guess we know very well by now I have this deep affinity for Dark!Brian. But, I do love when he can fall in love with our special blond and still keep those hard edges. He needs that to stay essentially himself, and of course, protect Justin from any and all that ever think to hurt him. We certainly know he will do that!

I didn't want to go with the obvious for Hobbs. We knew Brian would never just let him go, and killing him would have created many future complications for Brian and Justin... so I had to come up with something that would be in keeping with the Brian in this story. I debated on the resolution for awhile... but when it dawned it just fell together in my mind like clockwork. It was scary really how quickly that part wrote itself. When Justin first arrived at the cabin he was of the mind to save this horrible man that had inflicted such horrors on him... but Chris' continued attitude and threats did himself in. If he handles himself with his owner as he did with Brian, his future could indeed be grim. Then again, perhaps this will only be a brief punishment. It is possible that Chris really would come to terms with his inner self in such an environment. I guess that is one of those 'what ifs' we can leave them with here. :)

I would imagine that this must have been Rafael's only time making such a grave error. I think if he was going to make one, this was probably the time to do it. Love has defintely make our beast a bit more understanding. Still he had to be playful with how he told Justin about Chris. But, we know Mr. Kinney doesn't do things the normal or easy way. :)

I do like to end a story with a glimpse into the future. I think that gives a much better closure. Jennifer really needed to be seen... and I think the casino really had to be sold to really cement their future happiness. Justin would have never been happy in such a life, and now they are more free to travel... and probably much safer not having a casino owner for a partner. Thank you so much for joining me on another journey. I really appreciate your support and encouragement more than I can ever say. *Hugsss*

MY husband is about to call me to breakfast at any moment, but I had to attempt to review. These lat two chapters were exceptional. Chris was more menacing than usual, even tied to a chair. I liked that Justin decided to allow Brian to make the final decsion of what would befall him. The punishment was perfect as well as Brian's closing thoughts:

"Lord of all he surveyed had been the one to become trapped."

Another nice job!!!.

Author's Response:

I am honored that you snuck time to comment before breakfast with your husband. It doesn't get much more complimetary than that!

Chris definitely hadn't learned his lesson, and that was visible for both Brian and Justin to see. Initially I think Justin was going to fight for him, but his attitude and threats changed that entirely. The punishment was probably a fate worse than death. But, who knows, Chris might enjoy his punishment in time!

I'm really glad you enjoyed this one. Thanks so much for commenting! *Hugss*

Honestly, I don't feel this is much darker than any of your other stories...in fact; the characterization of Brian is usually about the same.  I always wait for the point in your stories where Brian says (or thinks) "...Oh yes, you will be mine!" or some variation of that & I just howl with glee.

He seems to always have that 'stalky' 'predator' 'vampish' thing going on & I feel that is the case with almost every story you've written.  Not to say they aren't entertaining and well written, because they certainly are, but I can usually guess from chapter to chapter how Brian is going to act.

That being said - thanks for another story & looking forward to reading your other WIPs once they are complete!

Author's Response:

Excluding my vampire stories, I think Brian was a bit more ruthless and dark here. Even if only in regards to his dealings with Craig and Chris. That was definitely savage... and Chris' fate probably bordered on the inhumane. Actually, I have had a few stories where Brian isn't quite so predatory. I have written a few that are closer to canon, and some others where Brian has a much softer nature. Granted, those are not my comfort zone, so I do Dark!Brian quite a lot. It's probably easy to lose sight of those in the middle of all these other more dominant stories. I'm not sure I enjoy having Brian THAT predictable... but in keeping with some of the bizarre premises in which I place him, I think his stalking and predatory ways just fits.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story... at least I hope you did. I'm not quite sure. Lol. Perhaps there will be some on the horizon that won't be as familiar. Thanks for commenting. :)

I am thrilled with the way you ended this gruesome tale. Selling the casino was the most I could hope for. I'm proud of the plot Brian came up with to make Hobbs really suffer for his behavior, I do hope he doesn't start to enjoy it all too soon. I was shocked by Brian's response to Rafael's betrayal I think that was a sign the monster was slowly dying. I hope once Justin can live in a world away from the poison of Las Vegas his sense of right and wrong will return. Then he can either make sure Brian leave all the horrible things behind or he realizes he must cut off all contact and return to a life worth living. I will never like Casino Brian no matter where he lives and how good he is at acting the part of a somewhat normal person. His soul has been ruined by the bright lights and evil that is Las Vegas. As always, thank you so much for using you skills and magic to transport me away from my dull boring life. I love getting caught up in your thrilling stories.
Lori

Author's Response:

Well... I am glad you enjoyed the ending despite the fact that your heart will never warm up to Brian here. I think he did change a lot in this story. His actions in the final chapter indictative of that. Brian's mirth as he remembered Hobbs begging for death when his truth fate was revealed was fun. I think at times that evil predator will slip out, but I know Justin will be safe from that. I almost feel sorry for anyone who ever tries to harm his precious blond. Without a doubt, Brian loves him completely. Although, I can't see Brian losing his more nefarious ways totally, I think they will be much reduced now. And... I think Las Vegas will go on without him. That was the best gift he could offer Justin. For sure Justin didn't love that city either. It was a loving gesture that Brian acted on that, and put his happiness and security first.

Thank you as always for your support, Lori. I truly appreciate you suffering through such a gruesome tale. Haha. Hopefully the next one won't be so trying. :) Thanks for commenting, my friend. *Hugss*

Chris Hobbs' fate is just perfect LOL!!!!! That's why I love Casino Brian!!!!!

I don't care if a story is dark or if Brian is a villain, a ruthless, an unforgiving and hard person etc.(same for Justin). A character doesn't need to be likable to be touching or amusing. Your story is well written and different, therefore it works, it's great!!!!Thank you for it!!!

I love extremely AU/OOC Brian/Justin. I read ff to see something different from the show. I know I'm going to get lynched for saying this, but it was not that amazing, above all the last two seasons.

So thanks for this AU/OOC.

*hugss*.

Author's Response:

I think Chris' fate could be more harsh than death... but in order for Brian to give in on that, he had to come up with something both creative and a solution that would keep Justin safe. That was all he really cared about towards the end.

*Sigh* I know some probably felt this was a bit too dark... but I did warn that from the onset. And, I think it expected in his life as a casino owner. I get what you're saying about the show. Probably why I write so much AU. As much as some things were great, others could have been done much better. Hopefully I can rectify some of that in my largely canon fix-it fic I just started writing.

Once again, thank you so much for your support. It really means a lot to me! I'm very glad you enjoyed this story. I had fun writing it. *Hugss*

“I hate sounding cliché... but at times that’s all there is. I am your worse nightmare, Mr. Hobbs.”

“You can’t look at it in those terms. In another era this would have been considered justice."

“How about I release him from his bonds? Will that make it fine in your little blond head?”

Brian's quotes are just hilarious!!!!

Chris hobbs has some nerves and he is totally stupid. If I was Brian I would have hurt both hands....

Great chapter!!!!

Author's Response:

Craig will never get the big picture. He is so stuck in hate and his own ideas that he'll never be open. Stupid is definitely well attributed to him. Brian has really evolved a great deal here. I'm sure he'll always be ruthless, but he has also realized he can love too.

When you told me Hobbs' decided fate would surprise me, you did not disappoint. Talk about poetic justice indeed, Chris being forced to live the life of those he meant to destroy is karma in action.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ride this story took us on and can't wait to see what your creative mind comes up with next~JP

That was a very intense chapter, I loved and enjoyed every moment of it. I think it’s fantastic how you continue to make the story exciting and interesting even as you approach the end. I’ll be so sorry to see ‘Trapped’ completed, but I’m sure it’ll stay in my head for a very long time. I both love and hate it when my favourite stories reach their endings. Anyway, it was an incredible and captivating journey, and I just simply cannot wait to read the last, final chapter! Though honestly, I have no idea how you intend to wrap everything up in one piece – but I’m looking forward to it!

I will always admire how easily Justin can read Brian, how he can see right through everything the Casino owner might want to hide or disguise somehow. Just like Justin, I also think that Brian tried to do everything to make him stay in his city, to make him feel loved and wanted, to keep him satisfied. But of course the reason he stayed with him all this time can also partly lie in Brian’s desire to relax Justin’s vigilance, so he wouldn’t notice he’s planned something. No matter what all his motives are, I love how he spoils Justin, trying to show him in every way how much he cares for him and how far he is willing to go to make him happy. But, I can understand Justin completely – I doubt anyone, especially an independent young man like him, would like to have all his needs taken care of. No wonder Justin may feel like a toy, even though he is so very wrong. This may be a little problem in future – because no matter how they love each other, they are still very different, from entirely different worlds. I guess Brian believes that money is a great way to express his love, and to tell the truth, I agree with him to some degree. It’s always good to know that the person you love is ready to do just about everything for you. I hope they’ll be able to work it out. I like Rafael, how respectful and loyal he is, even if Brian probably won’t be too happy with him in the nearest future.

Brrr, the conversation between Brian and Kip gave me goose bumps. Seeing Brian so much in love with Justin sometimes makes me forget just how dark and dangerous he is. ‘Do you have the item I requested at the cabin?’ – oh-oh, I shivered when I read this. Sounds terrible and cruel, though I‘d rather support Brian’s decision than be against it. Chris really deserves something very bad happen to him. I loved how Brian thought that he hadn’t told Justin anything so he wouldn’t be able to change his mind. It means he realizes and accepts what influence the blond has on him, how he affects him. One more proof of his feelings.

Wow, I’m just shocked at Chris’ audacity! He should be far more afraid than Craig was, and yet he demonstrates his rudeness? He is lucky Brian didn’t kill right away. BTW, I’m starting to love Kip here, he is a really good assistant to Brian, he seems to understand him immediately, even without hearing the actual order. It’s great that Brian came to trust him, too. That whole episode with Hobbs was both terrifying and breathtaking, I was reading with my mouth wide open! You definitely know how to create a scary, dark atmosphere. I enjoyed every bit of it tremendously! I was pleasantly shocked when Brian broke Chris’ fingers with the bat just because he insulted Justin. Painful, but, well, well deserved once again. If Hobbs has already realized what it’s all about, what the hell does he think he’s doing throwing remarks like that? A very stupid person indeed. My heart clenched when Brian said ‘something that means everything to me’ – it was so beautiful! I almost cried out loud when Justin appeared. By this time I figured he would, but anyway it was unexpected. Their short talk – ah, I *loved* it! It was sweet, heartbreaking and funny simultaneously. I laughed when Brian suggested releasing Hobbs from his bonds so it would become okay to Justin. Only he would say something like that! And his last phrase touched me deeply. It effectively showed how much Brian has changed thanks to Justin and his love to him. It seems Justin decided to let Brian make the very important decision again, though this time he assured him of his love. I loved that. I can’t wait see what Brian will come up with – I’ll support anything, even the murder in this case.

Thank you!

Author's Response:

Yes, I know this chapter did have much going on. I probably could have spread out these last few chapters and turned them into more chapters... but the reason I push to the end of this one is that the impossible has been reached. Casino Brian is in love, and I didn't feel it best in keeping with his character in this story to make him lesbionic. So, time to start pulling that plug before that happened. I don't think this Brian would ever fit in such a mold. :)

Justin has read Brian so very well here... and stood up to him as well. These two each have such independence and spirit. Of course, this Brian would have never fallen so hard for a weaker man. He needs a man of strength. And... I think he definitely found the one to compliment him in every way. I can understand how Justin overreacted to Brian leaving his credit card, but I agree - he is long past treating Justin like an object. He genuinely loves him and only wants to take care of him. Granted, Justin is strong and doesn't want that... but I'm sure they can find a middle ground. Most likely Brian would cross the line in the years to come... but that's all part of the man that Justin fell in love with.

I do think that no matter how much he has evolved there will be times that the ruthless predator will appear. Such as his talk with Kip. He doesn't hold anything back. And then, Chris, well as usual - he takes idiot to an all new place. I think he signed his own end with that. Justin seemed intent on interfering, but seeing Chris' hatred and contempt made him once again realize how evil that young man truly still was. Well, you won't have long to wait for the next update. It is here when you are again. I hope you enjoy my conclusion with a surprise or two.

Thank you so much for your wonderful support. I appreciate it so much. Next, it will be back to the land of Brakania. :) *Hugsss*

As I think you might have guessed, this has not been one of my favorite stories, but I have enjoyed trying to make you realize the danger of Las Vegas. Even when you use your alphabet magic to compose such a shocking story I am still compelled to read each word. I am still holding out hope the Hoover Dam will burst, washing the entire town of sin away and perhaps a new city will grow up in the moist area. Then Justin and Brian can bounce from cloud to cloud in heaven...hmm angel wings might mean for some new positions. Well that is assuming Brian does end up floating in the cloud and not sweating next to a fire pit in hell. Bet you can guess where i think he'll be. I sure hope Brian kills Chris Hobbs, he might as well do one good thing in his wretched life. It also makes my tummy go whoosh to picture him and Kip working together. I'm also worried Brian might do harm to his houseman, the foolish man let Justin know where he was doing his less than humanitarian job. I am looking forward to how you end this, I'm sure it will be good, one way or another. Thanks for keeping me amused.
Lori

Author's Response:

Yes, I do know that this story won't ever be listed as one of your most favorites... this Brian in particular. I do think he's become a bit more human as the story progressed, at least in regards to Justin. I doubt Craig or Hobbs would agree with that assessment. That you have abhorred this particular premise and the locale so immensely and yet hung in with the story means a great deal to me. The good news is that the end is almost here now. I am working on the final installment now and will post the final chapter very soon. Hopefully you will be somewhat okay with the ending. It might not go as you expect... but you know I have to throw a surprise or two out there. It has been strange for me to write Kip as loyal employee... but I figured he would fit in with that world very well. I am hoping that I don't come up with any ideas in the future that is so unsettling. For sure, it wouldn't be in the near future. As we know, I have more than enough of them on my plate now! :)

Thank you so much for reading and your support, Lori. In light of how you feel about this one, I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. *Hugsss*

I hope Brian do the right thing and turn Chris over to the police.

Great chapter, looking forward for more.

Author's Response:

Unfortunately I don't see Brian contacting the police in this particular verse... and with Chris' apparent broken hand by Brian, probably even less likely. I do think Brian might have something clever in mind, though. We should see soon. I plan to finish writing this before I update anything else.

I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, hun. I hope you like the conclusion. Thanks so much for commenting! *Hugss*

Brian don’t do it. I hope he can find another solution where Chris doesn’t hurt anyone else, without killing him. Although, to keep this dark Brian character he would probably do it. Maybe he is even spurred on to do it, just to see if Justin would still be there for him. I can’t wait to find out what he does.

Cheers

Author's Response:

In this moment I think Brian thinks his only option is the path he's on.... but you never know what's going to happen. I don't think all of the surprises are over quite yet. This Brian has definitely evolved tremendously, but that darkness still lurks. I think it always will in his chosen profession.. and without a doubt when the ones he loves are threatened. This one will be finished before I update anything else. I'm already working on the final chapter. Hopefully not too long.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting. *Hugss*

I'm so sorry to hear about your misfortune, sometimes R/L can be a real bitch but as the saying goes and this too shall pass and things will start to get better :) * big hug*

I have two very definite opinions about our boys here, one) I think Justin was queening out just a little bit about Brian leaving him his credit card and having drivers available for him. I'm sure Brian never meant to make him feel like he was some little boy-toy he was keeping. For the most part it seemed to me that he was doing these things to make sure Justin was comfortable in his absence and to keep him from worrying.

Two) Brian definitely showed his true self by telling Justin that he couldn't go through with making Hobbs' injuries fatal if it meant losing him. Brian knew from the start that when Justin caught wind of what he planned to do he would try to talk him out of it anyway. Now that Justin has once again put the ball in Brian's court, what he felt was an easy decision to make has now been clouded with doubt.

I can hardly wait for the conclusion ( but not really because actually I want lots more lol)

Author's Response:

Thank you, my dear. I'm sure something will turn up in time. It's just a waiting game right now. We'll see if I can promote this business in the meantime. :)

I think you could be right about Justin 'queening out'. Goodness knows he does have those moments from time to time. *Grins* I don't think Brian was being patronizing either. Now, earlier in the story this might have had a much different meaning. If he hadn't left the credit card, Justin might have let it slide. But... with all that's going on, we'll see if and when he remembers to mention it.

It was good that Justin's arrival was so timed. He heard quite a declaration as Brian thought he was only talking to Hobbs. I think Brian went there with the intention of killing him, but we'll see what he does. I will just say it might be a surprise. I think Justin was determined to stop Brian, but when he heard such an admission I think it finally clicked that Brian needs to do this - whatever this ends up being, primarily because he has to protect the ones he loves. The list is very short in Brian's world, but Justin definitely tops it. More of this to come soon. I plan to finish this before moving on.

Thanks for commenting, my friend. *Hugss*

Brian is no murder so am sure that he will come up with an innovative way to make Hobbs pay.

Look forward to it.

Love it!

am sorry to hear about your R/L situation but good luck, who knows sometimes its the push we need to becoming our own boss.

Author's Response:

I'm not going to give away the ending. I'm just saying it might not be quite as expected. Whatever Brian's decision, I'm sure he will be certain of Justin's safety in the process.

I'm very glad you're enjoying it. Thanks so much for commenting! *Hugss*

I'm sad to see this story is approaching the end, but it's great that you have so many other WIPs! I can still enjoy them for a very long time. Great chapter, I'm so excited to see that Brian plans to deal with Chris, too. I hope Justin will understand him and accept his decision. Brian is a person who must have everything under control, who must show how much he cares about those he loves.

Brian and Justin’s moments together are so sweet! I loved it, can’t wait for more!

Author's Response:

I always feel much the same when I near ending a story. I hate ending then, and yet it's good to give them closure and spare up some time for all the others. I'm really glad you enjoyed the chapter. My goal is to wrap it up with two more, but I'm not sure I can manage it. It could end up being two chapters with an epilogue. We'll see how that goes. I do think Brian really needs to do this for Justin. It was hard enough on him to let Craig go, but Chris Hobbs... I'm not sure he's civilized enough to do that. In his more ruthless mind he would see that letting him go shows not only weakness... but a future threat to the man he loves as well. I think the Brian in this world would fear Chris seeking revenge someday. And we know he would never allow anything bad to happen to Justin now.

I'm glad you enjoyed their time together. They will probably have a bit more of that in the next chapter, before excitement begins again. Thanks so much for commenting! :) *Hugss*

Craig received a punishment worse than death. Perfect.

Well, I can't believe how quickly I rushed through this once I got going. I liked this chapter  very much. However, I thought you were very merciful to Craig. He got off quite easy since Brian could have just crushed him. Ahhhh well! Maybe next story! :P

Lookin forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you could get caught up. I think Brian was merciful to Craig primarily realizing how Justin would feel about his lover being the man that killed him - down the road. Brian has indeed fallen hard for Justin here, and is looking at their future relationship. In that case I think he did what he felt he had to do. Now, regarding Chris Hobbs... I'm not sure he's feeling so generous. I understand completely, though. Craig is such a fun target. It's nice to make up in fanfiction all the wrongs committed in canon. The next chapter is up, but hopefully the final two chapters arriving soon too.

I know you're trying to work your magic and get to believe Brian has a heart. The hints of what might happen to Chris Hobbs still isn't enough to make he feel anything good about this Casino Brian. I'm sure the hot tub was filled with mind altering drugs to seduce Justin weak little mind into thinking there was a sliver of good in the dark soul of Brian. I refuse to drink the Kool Aid and follow your cult leader. It's a slippery slope to hell and even if he make Chris Hobbs pay in a wonderful gruesome way it still won't make me like this slot machine son of Satan. Even with all this I am still fond of this story and will be sad to see it end. However I know you will continue to keep me amused with your next work of art. I found a new baby Lizard today, no sign of a family so he might need to find a foster family. He's currently soaking up the sun and trying to figure out his color changing abilities.
Lori

Author's Response:

Haha. I think I have given up on trying to sway you into Brian's camp in this story. Of course, stranger things have happened! *Grins*

I will definitely miss writing this story... and of course, I will miss your spirited comments on this one. I am hoping for two more chapters to do it, but I won't know for sure until I get the next part finished. It remains to be seen yet the severity of Chris Hobbs' fate. I think Brian has his mind made up, but will our sweet little blond get involved? We'll have to see on that. Now, I will have to defend Brian and say the hot tub wasn't drugged. He didn't know Justin would avail himself of it. A baby lizard? How fun. Well, our casino owner has had chameleon moments. We'll have to see if his good side triumphs over the bad.

Thank you as always for your fun and insightful comments. It's always such a pleasure. *Hugsss*

Wow, very passionate chapter – and of course very impressive! I love seeing Brian as a big scary Boss who other people obey, and then, with Justin, him being immediately a tender and caring lover. You’re really expert in writing him this way!:)

I’m shocked that Craig had the audacity to grumble! He obviously still didn’t realize just how lucky he was that a man like Brian Kinney was so deeply in love with his son. I can’t believe him, he is really so disgusting and revolting here, I almost can’t stand his being mentioned! I hope we are rid of him for good. Brrr. It’s much more pleasant to concentrate on Brian and his fervent desire to make Chris pay for everything he’s done to Justin. I have to say, this is getting more and more intriguing, I wonder how far Brian will actually go to take revenge. For now, I’d say he is ready to do the worst – to kill Hobbs, but whether he will indeed do that remains to be seen. I have no idea how Justin might react if he finds out about it. And I’m sure he will, one way or another, because Chris lives in Pittsburgh, and his sudden disappearance will definitely evoke questions. Justin would be the first to suspect that Brian had something to do with it, and for now his reaction to that is unpredictable. At least I’m sure it won’t be as violent as it could have been if it’d been his father in Chris’ place. As for Hobbs, I hope Justin won’t care *that* much.

You know I *love* it when we can see Brian and Justin’s relationship through somebody else’s eyes! So, I really enjoyed that piece with Kip thinking of how much in love his Boss seems to be, and how fatal it can be to threaten Justin, his Chosen one. That’s so sweet (yeah, I know, not the most appropriate word when it comes to Brian). As for Justin and his faith in Brian, I think nothing can be more convincing than the way he was enjoying his hot tub, trusting Brian so unconditionally, so completely. I was surprised that he didn’t ask anything about his decision – it must really mean a lot to Brian, seeing how much the man he loves believes in him. I just hope that future incident with Hobbs won’t destroy or damage it. I love so much how you describe all these beautiful and passionate moments between Brian and Justin… and that joke about the pool boy that almost turned into a real jealousy scene! Ha, I adore teasing Justin and Brian’s reaction to it! It was so funny to see how he so cunningly evoked Justin’s jealousy over his own little joke. Only Brian can do that:) I loved it! And Brian obviously enjoyed every bit of it as well. Though I wonder why he didn’t react to Justin’s “after I’m gone”. Maybe he understands that will never happen, just like Justin does - I think it’d be impossible for him to leave Brian now, Las Vegas or not… another reason – of course Brian is afraid to say the actual words, just as always. Maybe he didn’t tell Justin anything because he’s still unsure what he can offer? But I can’t believe he would let him go, words or no words! Not now, not when he feels so much to him, when he understands his whole life has been changed.

I can’t believe there are only two chapters left – I’m looking forward to seeing how you’ll wrap everything up! Chris, Justin’s reaction, Brian’s inability to say words, his Casino… I can’t wait to see the resolve of all those things! Thank you for the great chapter!

Author's Response:

Hello, my dear! :)

I think these two have evolved so much since this story began... Brian especially. Of course, his dark side is still fiercely present, but now it seems primarily focused towards defending the honor of the man we know he loves - whether he has spoken that aloud yet or not. Often I think Brian fails to realize just how easy identified his standard traits are. When he deviates from them it really stands out to those who know his specific mannerisms. In this case, Kip reads him very well. Yes, I do think we've seen the last of Craig in this story. He was a bother, but a very useful tool in making Brian realize just how important Justin was to him, and how far he was straying from his normal practices all because of this one special blond boy. As you know, I always enjoy inserting those little jealous episodes, but this time it backfired on Justin. As that green-eyed beast appeared it was Justin that was affected the most.

Two chapters is what I am hoping it to be, but I am not committing myself to that eventuality yet. Much will depend on what gets accomplished in the next chapter. I do hope you enjoy how this one continues to come together. Thank you so much for your comments and constant support. It means the world to me! :) *Hugsss*

Author's Response:

I think this was the only realistic choice Brian could make. As much as he thinks the world, and Justin in particular would be better off without Craig in it, he realizes a time would come that Justin would feel guilty and it could harm their relationship. Already I think he knows he doesn't want that to happen. Chris Hobbs, well that might be another story... Thanks for commenting, TAG. This one updates next. *Hugss*

At first I wanted to read just one of your stories, but then I just kept coming for more and more! I can't stop now, I spent this week reading everything you've written. I like how you play with characters, how you make Brian almost evil, but then change him and show us more than a cold and uncaring person. A Casino owner - that surprised me! And this whole thing with Craig shocked and infuriated me. What a complete S.O.B.! I really hoped Brian would kill him, but Justin, well, I don't think he would be very understanding. At first I thought it was wrong of him to place such a decision on Brian - I mean, and what if he made a bad choice? Justin might even hate him as the result! But then I realized just how much Justin trusts him. That's was love is.

I loved how Brian dealt with Craig! You made this moment really scary. The entire story is fantastic, I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response:

I am so thrilled you are enjoying my stories so much. That means so much to me! I do have a habit of beginning with a Dark!Brian and evolving him as much as I think it befits realism in that particular story. It's just fun for me to have such a man of control and see him going through the 'falling in love' process with our special blond. Craig really deserved much worse, but I think Brian did what Justin wanted... and what he needed to happen in order to live with himself. These two have truly progressed to a loving relationship.

rian did not kill Craig. Justin may hate his dad but he would have come to hate Brian , when the guilt became to much.

Author's Response:

I think Brian made the best decision for Justin. As much as he may have been okay with it now, the time would come when the guilt would overwhelm him. Brian only proved that Justin's trust in him was well placed.

Wow, that was intense! So much danger in this chapter, the immense desire to take revenge, to repay Craig for everything he’s ever done to Justin and his mother. I love dark and threatening Brian, and he proved once again just how menacing he can possibly be. I think it will bother Craig for the rest of his pathetic life that one way or another, *Justin* was the reason Brian kept him alive.

Brian is fantastic, this chapter made me fall in love with him ten times more than before! I couldn’t wait to see his decision, and I’m absolutely thrilled with it. It’s perfect for both purposes – to teach Craig a lesson and to please Justin. It’s incredible how far our dark Casino owner is ready to go in order to gain his blond’s love, gratitude and smile. It must have been difficult to control the beast raging for murder inside, but he managed to control himself. I *love* the way he talked to Craig, displaying his power with every word. I love how Craig compared him to barracuda – huh, the man must be terrified with no end:) But, I’m still shocked at the amount of hate this terrible person feels towards his own son. How can he be such a bastard? What perplexes me even more – he is so sure he did everything right, and that he is just a man who made some bad choices (like sending Justin to Brian). So delusional that it’s even scary! Scary because there are people like him out there, and no matter what you do with them, they will never admit they are wrong. That’s so fucked up. More than that – Craig seems to be devoid of common sense. He already knows who he is dealing with here, he understands that his life is now in Brian’s hands – but he dares demonstrate his stupid false bravado and arrogance! God, maybe it’d be good if Brian quietly organized his death, making it look like he had nothing to do with it. But of course, it’s too risky, and it’s definitely not worth losing Justin.

Ah, I enjoyed every bit of this wonderful chapter – I just *love* when Brian shows who is in charge, and when he protects Justin so fiercely! I savored every line of his and Craig’s conversation. ‘Reptilian man’ – haha!:) And – physical violence? Wow! I went crazy when I read it, it was such a powerful, dangerous moment! For a second I was afraid that Brian would kill Craig after all, but he stopped – it proves once again how strong his feelings are for Justin. It was fantastic how he silently repeated his name over and over again in order to control himself! And protective Brian is my weakness – as jealous Brian is. I love when he is ready to do anything for Justin, and willing to protect him from everyone and everything. After *this* episode, Craig surely must have understood that Brian is even more dangerous than he’d thought before, and – love or not for Justin, he will not react well once being provoked. Something to keep in mind.

You intrigued me with Brian’s determination to get to Hobbs for his attack on Justin! I thought he may leave him unpunished, but now I realize I should have known better! Of course Brian will never forgive anyone who harmed the man he loves in any way. I wonder what he will do to *him*, once Craig is out of the picture. And what Justin will think if he knows about it at all. As for Brian’s decision - Mexico, ahah!:) ‘A fucking nightmare’ indeed. I think it’s a perfect destination for Craig – I can just imagine him there, going out of his mind!:) I adore this Brian, he has really thought of everything. It was so touching when he returned to the car and smiled tenderly thinking of Justin. Such a great contrast between an overly-dangerous, menacing predator and loving, caring partner. I love moments like these!

Thank you for the fantastic chapter! It was amazing as always, filled with such darkness, yet all of it aimed only at Justin’s protection. Thank you, I’m looking forward to our blond’s reaction to Brian news and Brian’s way to deal with Chris. Should we expect the magnificent ‘Dante’s Cove’ next?:)

Author's Response:

This was definitely a more intense chapter. Part of the reason I elected not to have Brian reuniting with Justin here. I didn't want to spoil their time together with the darkness that Craig represented. I can't imagine Craig enjoying his time in Mexico. That just doesn't feel like a good fit for me. Nothing against Mexico - but Craig has a way of being overtly offensive. I don't think that will work out so well for him. :)

I think Brian finally was able to put his menacing ways to good use. All in all, it was about protecting Justin. His thoughts were more than clear that the stolen money was a thing of the past. Now, it was all his adorable blond. I couldn't allow Brian to have the contfrontation without exerting himself physically as well as mentally over the weak Craig. He did well to pull back. I'm sure, in this case, it wasn't easy. Regarding Hobbs, I don't sense that Brian is feeling very merciful. We'll see how far he intends to go... and if he intends to clue Justin in on those plans.

I'm very glad you enjoyed this dark chapter, my dear friend. I have been hoping to get through this one in order to get them to a better place where this story can begin to be wrapped up. Yes, you are correct with the rotation. 'Dante's Cove' is next. I'm so excited to be back to the next part of that one. :) Sadly, we're heading into the weekend now - which is my busy time - and I am at that point of the schedule where my next update is non QAF related... so it will be a few days. My best guess is we're looking at Monday. Good news is that I get a vacation in a little more than a week. I will make finalizing this story a priority then. Thank you so much for commenting and your wonderful support. It means so much to me! *Hugsss*

Oh no, I think Brian is really turning into a soft fluffy kitten. He actually provided him a plane ticket to Mexico. I think the old Brian would have made him take a bus. I hope the casino will soon be put up for sale and the pair can retire to some quiet peaceful location to live out their lives away from the flashing lights and evilness that is Las Vegas. I'm sure Justin will want to be close to his mother to help monitor her recovery. Somehow I don't think Sin City is the place for a woman with alcohol issues. I still think Amish country would be a perfect place. Brian can get in touch with a simpler way of life and the fresh air will go toward healing Justin's lungs after the smoke abuse he was forced to inhale, he was so sweet and pure before his time trapped in the casino. I hope your hint about the Hobbs situation comes true, will Brian be the one who actually takes care of the scum sucking dirt bag or will Kip be sent on one final job? I hope the buffet chef knows how to make Hobbs Kabobs,
Lori

Author's Response:

I know it's not possible that I sense some softening for this particular Brian. Surely not the evil incarnate casino owner! Haha. Seriously though, yes you are correct. The Brian at the beginning of this story would have most likely killed Craig; at the very least had wicked forms of torture to exert. Whereas I don't see Brian ever becoming fully domesticated here, he has obviously grown a loving heart - at least for one special little blond. I'm not sure Brian will give up the casino in the end, but maybe he won't reside there 24/7. We'll have to see what the end brings. I'm hoping to do that in two more chapters. Regarding Chris Hobbs, I don't feel any mercy in him there. I think it depends whether he is coerced to show any. I don't get the impression that Brian will hand this matter completely over to Kip. He didn't get to enjoy his bloodlust with Craig. :)

Thanks as always for your comments. They are always so unique and fun. I appreciate that. *Hugsss*

All the best,

Brian wasn’t as hard on Craig as I was hoping for. I had my fingers cross he would strip him of any identification, plant drugs on him and drop him in a foreign, non-English speaking country where the crime of dealing would bring the death penalty. Craig would eventually get help from the US authorities but it would surely mess with his mind until that happened. I think you were to kind but I’m sure Justin will appreciate Brian’s leniency. I can’t wait for the update with a little fun time for the men.

Cheers

Author's Response:

I think Brian was as hard on Craig as he felt he should be under the circumstances. In the here and now, Justin didn't care what happened to his father... but down the line would he feel the same? Especially whenever he seen Jennifer again. Justin giving Brian the choice may have felt some guilt at that point... so I think Brian made that choice for Justin. He really has come to love him, whether he verbalizes that or not. I don't think jobless, Craig will enjoy Mexico very much. He really doesn't fit in at all there. I think Justin will probably be both surprised and pleased by Brian's choice. Next, they will definitely reconnect. :) At least Brian did get some aggression out on defenseless Craig. I think that made him feel a bit better.

Thanks for your comments, hun. I hope you enjoy how it finishes out. *Hugss*

Banishment.....the perfect punishment for Craig. Serves his ass right for trying to whore out his own son.

Yes, I think Craig got what he deserved... although it could have been much worse. This should make Justin know he made the right decision in trusting Brian. More as soon as I can. Thanks so much for commenting! :) *Hugss*

Don't know how you do it with so many stories on your plate; incredible.  You do sleep, don't you?  LOL!  I'm envious; I wish I could keep up with this sort of posting schedule.  Amazing!  I'm glad you took care of Craig without killing him; as repulsive as the man is, I think he was probably right that Justin would really have not wanted Brian to do that for Brian's sake.  Looking forward to the boys' reunion.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Thank you, Kim. I'm not sure they have a term for this level of insanity. If they did I would think I would have sought the cure! LOL. Yes, I do sleep. Two days out of the week I get the most done... and those are now over. Yes, I do agree... killing Craig probably wasn't in Brian's best interest - in the big picture. Although, I'm sure it would have felt immensely satisfying. At the very least, he did get some aggression out. I think in this case Brian can only evolve so far. I think he's reached that point. Now it's time to work towards the wrap-up. Thanks so much for the comment. It is greatly appreciated. Good luck on your updating schedule. I know it's not easy! *Hugss*

Ohhh, and thanks for not berating me for not holding off on starting the 'Captivated' sequel. You know I am not good with patiently waiting! LOL.

Reviewer: Severus_divides_into_H (Signed) · Date: March 02, 2013 01:39 AM · On: Confrontation and Realizations

Ah, what an update! I’m so happy to see it. It’s a real disaster that so many things were lost due to the server crash:( I hope you’ll repost ‘Captivated’ epilogue and ‘Beguiled’ chapter soon, though it’s so sad that many comments are lost:(

I love seeing a deep contrast between Brian’s attitude to Justin and to other people, like Kip. Kip seems to be quite a devoted and obedient worker, he follows every order Brian gives him, but still our Casino owner is cold and menacing with him, intimidating him without even really intending to. And when Justin comes in, this dangerous attitude changes right away! I enjoy it so much watching another Brian, softer and more attentive one – Justin’s Brian. He obviously can read the blond very well already – and I admire his readiness to make such a difficult decision for Justin. Yes, it’s true that he is ruthless and uncaring in lots of ways, but I don’t think it makes deciding such things any easier. Yet for Justin, he is ready to that without doubts and hesitation – and well, Craig hardly deserves any sympathy.

Wow, Craig and Justin’s meeting was so impressive! And I’m so glad Brian was there the whole time, supporting Justin, ready to protect him if the need arises.  I’m in love with this thick dark and dangerous aura surrounding him, making it clear to everyone that Brian is not the person to toy with. I enjoyed seeing how momentarily Craig became hopeless, how he realized almost immediately that it was his end, how he saw death in Brian’s eyes. Yeah, Brian wouldn’t hesitate not even for a moment – one Justin’s word, and he would destroy this sick, abhorrent man who hurt his own son (not to mention Jennifer) so much.

I *loved* how Brian admitted he cares for Justin right in front of Craig! It must be a real shock to him, he thought he could get rid of both his debt and his ‘disgusting’ son with the help of cold and unfeeling Casino owner, but all of it went wrong. Brian now is ready to do everything for Justin, and Craig can clearly see it. It was so funny when Justin completely forgot about his father and concentrated on Brian instead!:) And I can’t wait to see them both at Brian’s home - the last time was *fantastic*! I loved the way you finished this chapter – Justin let Brian make the final decision. There is so much trust in it… though I believe Justin isn’t sure what he wants to be done to Craig, and Brian still can take a very wrong step. But, it seems he knows exactly what to do – I can’t wait to see what it will be! It’s obvious how much he values his relationship with Justin, so I’m sure he won’t do anything to threaten it.

Thank you for another one great, brilliant chapter! I’m looking forward to more! And, as far as I remember from your last answer, the next story updated will be ‘Dante’s Cove’? I’m so madly in love with it – can’t wait to see the beginning of Brian’s pursuit!

Author's Response:

Thank you, my dear friend. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I think we had much going on here... yet with much to resolve yet. Without a doubt the unthinkable has happened. Brian has fallen hard for his prey. Well, they do say when the mighty fall, they do so in a big way. I think if ever there is a case we have that here. I think this Brian in love would be fiercely protective and of course, jealous. I do love those qualities in him. It is a huge jump for Justin that he trusts Brian so much... but I think Justin reads him very well here and sees the immense change that has progressed in him since they first met. And... you make a very good point. I don't think Justin wants to make this decision either. We'll hope that Brian chooses wisely and doesn't lash out as I think he instinctively probably wants to do. What he could lose is much more rewarding than a momentarily satisfaction in his revenge.

Yes, 'Dante's Cove' will be next. Most likely not for a couple of days. I've yet to start, but hope to get much of it done tomorrow evening. Thanks so much for your comments and support, my dear. They are appreciated more than I can tell you. Yes, it was discouraging to lose those chapters and comments. I will probably upload one today and the other tomorrow. I don't like to clog up the page with all my entries. Goodness knows I have enough of them as it is! Haha.

I see a new item appearing on the rabid all you eat buffet, Filet of Craig in Cream Sauce. Served with a side of Tums and a puke bucket. So now Brian is going to take Justin to his private home and lock him in a dank dark room and continue to force him to do Casino Acts of Evil? Tie him to roulette wheel and spin his way to a life of sin? Justin is still feeling messed up from the mind altering flashing lights he's been forced to endure all to save his poor mother. There is no way I will believe Brian is/has fallen in love with Justin. Not until I see him burn down his Evil Casino and moved to a normal place and begin a new life. Maybe if he moves to PA, and not a flashy city like Pittsburgh, I'm thinking Amish country, far away from electricity and other things of the devil. I think a nice quiet dairy farm might be the only thing to save him. It might take years before his cows can give milk fit to drink. I would imagine one touch of his hands would turn the milk sour. As you might have guessed by my tender hints I am not fond of this Brian, but I am still very fond of this story. By the way, I keep watching the Hoover Dam on google earth and I can see sign of a slight crack forming. I can only hope no one else notices before the water takes care of the problem knows as Las Vegas.
Lori

Author's Response:

Oh my. I have read this comment several times trying to think of a witty response. You definitely stumped me on this one. How these comments delight me, Lori. I can't tell you how much.

Well, I wouldn't get my hopes up for that dairy farm, but we'll see if Brian remains in the casino life at the end of the story. Undoubtedly, it would be a rough life for a man who has formed enemies and has someone he cares about to protect. Whether you like it or not, I do think Brian genuinely cares for Justin. But... we'll see as he makes his big decision regarding Craig's fate. The best solution probably would be to 'off' him - Vegas style... but despite Justin leaving him in complete control of it, could he forgive that?

I do appreciate you hanging with this story, my friend... even if you abhor this Brian. LOL. Thanks so much for your comments. As always they are so much appreciated! *Hugss*

Brian cares about Justin darleedalalalala. Great chapter, thank you for the update and I'm curious to know what choice Brian will make about Craig's fate.

Author's Response:

I think that was a big admission for Brian to make... especially as controlling as he is here. I'm sure they will be talking about that revelation. We will have to see what Brian decides about Craig's fate. Either way it would probably be justified... but let's hope he makes the right decision.

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for commenting! :)

Craig begging and pleading with Justin to save his life......he's got a hell of a lot of nerve to ask Justin for anything after all the pain he's caused him.

Now on the flip side, it's real test of Justin's faith in Brian to trust him to do the right thing.

I can't wait for the next chapter~JP

Author's Response:

I find it quite ironic that Craig groveled so to the son he has so mistreated. It's not really much of a surprise that Justin would wash his hands of him. Definitely Justin is taking a huge step in trusting this Brian to such a degree. We'll see how Brian handles that. I have a feeling Brian will do the right thing - no matter what that is. Our little blond has most assuredly worked his way into this heart. :)

This was my favorite chapter!

Author's Response:

Thank you. I'm really glad you liked that. It seems like it's taken forever to give Brian some more human characteristics. It seems he's moving in the right direction. It all depends on how he handles Justin's decision regarding Craig.

Author's Response:

Oh, I’m so happy to see this wonderful update! I think you spoiled me with updating once in two days, because the waiting was truly torturous – I know everything about real life and other stuff, but my mind (or heart, or whatever it is) just always can’t wait to see the continuation. I missed ‘Trapped’ very much, and oh my, how it was worth the wait!

Brian is still so amusingly arrogant, but it’s a part of his charm. Besides, his feelings for Justin are so obvious – I enjoyed reading how long and intently he was staring at him, craving him, even wanting some sort of continued relationship – sexual, but still *relationship*, in Brian’s unconventional way. Justin has completely wrapped him around his finger, though our menacing Casino owner will probably never accept it. But, it’s already great that he so freely accepts the fact that Justin is not like the others, and that he just can’t get enough of him. For Brian it’s a big start. And, after all, he has fought so fervently to finally have this beautiful boy – he must be absolutely unable to back off now, having touched and tasted him for the first time!

The sex moments are so *hot*, just the way they always are when you describe them! I love the possessiveness of Brian, Justin’s passion and his small unique remarks. They are so beautiful together. Of course Justin will never feel like that with any other man, and in fact, I believe that soon enough Brian will forbid him to even contemplate such thought. I’m sure a few more days – and he will turn insane even thinking about Justin with someone else. Judging from his reaction to Justin and Ethan’s date – he already has.

That conversation about Craig happened in such a bad time! Poor Brian, I think he was really looking forward to spending this night with Justin in his arms. And I think you have put yourself in a very difficult situation here – I guess Justin will never agree to have his father killed, despite he was a threat to his mother and to himself as well… Brian can’t do it without his permission either – it would destroy their relationship without even letting it start. But, putting Crain in prison – if that’s even possible – doesn’t seem good enough. What can he be charged with? The organization of bashing and of Jennifer’s murder? In our country he would get seven years – tops. He would get his freedom soon enough, feeling even more anger and hatred. If he can do things like that now, I can only imagine what he might be capable of after being in prison. So, for now this situation seems hopeless to me, I see no way out. I can’t wait to read what you will come up with - for now, as always, I have no idea!

Justin was so vulnerable when he learned about everything Craig has done – I felt so bad for him… and Brian, too – it’s so obvious how much he cares for him, how he desires to make things better. I loved how Justin tried to decipher whether Brian is a cruel cold person or just a fierce protector... I’m afraid he is both – it’s just in his nature, though being protective definitely prevails. It was so touching to see how he does everything he can think of to make Justin feel better, to support him. I guess it’ll be easier (if that word is appropriate) for Justin to deal with those horrible things with Brian by his side. He is strong, but Brian makes him stronger. I love the ending! FINALLY Brian admitted that he is indeed falling for Justin, and there is no way in hell he can stop it.

Thank you for the great, brilliant chapter! I’m so glad you continue to share your hard work, your constant inspiration with us – I’ll never get enough of your fantastic stories! Thank you!

Author's Response:

Hello, dear friend!

First of all, thank you for your patience with me. It is so difficult sometimes to manage the daily grind of R/L and keep these stories moving forward. I hold myself much to blame in having too many stories in progress. I am really trying to lose some of them - this one is probably the closest. I am hoping to have 'Somewhere in Time' updating by this time tomorrow. *Crossing my fingers* that I can do that.

Yes, this is indeed a precarious situation here. It's one of those cases for Brian - damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't. We'll see how it turns out. I will only say - I know how it will be resolved, and I hope it's a resolution that everyone finds to be a viable solution.

Brian is definitely smitten with Justin. His harshness slowly becomes peeled away when they are in a more intimate moment. That intensity is still there, but I think it always will be with this particular Brian. I think he will only become more and more entranced by his young lover. Once the dust settles around the 'Craig' situation, I think it will be just as obvious Justin feels the same.

Hopefully the meeting with Craig isn't too traumatic for our beloved blond, but I know Brian won't be far from his side. Thank you as always for your comments and incredible support. I can't tell you how much it means to me! *Hugss*

I love this Brian, but I am surprised he asked Justin what he wanted to do with his father as we all know Justin couldn’t harm a fly; however, casino Brian lives in a world where he wouldn’t seem to have a problem with killing someone. So I will just cross my fingers and hope that Justin comes up with a solution Brian hasn’t thought of. I can’t wait to see where you go with this.

Cheers

Author's Response:

This Brian is definitely complex, and making concessions he wouldn't normally make. I'm not even certain he realizes he makes them at times. At this point, I think Brian is hoping Justin will do what is best for his own safety and his mother's. Earlier in the story he would have done this on his own. But... I think in the back of his mind he's already realizing he wants Justin to stick around. That can't happen if he acts out on his own and kills his father - whether deserved or not. In order for things to work out, a compromise will probably need to be made.

Well in my dream world, Casino Brian would kill Craig and then commit suicide! I still can't find a single reason for a evil nasty Brian to live on this earth. Even Las Vegas doesn't deserve such a fiend. It was all I could do to read the horrific acts of sex he forced poor sweet Justin to endure, coating him with his gooey spit and other bodily fluids. I am so sickened by all the vivid pictures you planted in my head I am going to have to go read some of your nice stories to get them out of my mind. Damn you, why do you have to write such amazing descriptions but make them come from that beastly Brian? Right now I can't imagine anything you could do to change my mind about Casino Brian, even if he were nearly killed in a helicopter ride over the Hover Dam and needed a heart transplant from an Irish Wolfhound would I believe there was a drop of goodness in that man. I am sure the only reason Justin is able to think he's enjoying the sexual abuse is because Brian has been drugging him or even paid a hypnotist to work his dark magic on Justin. He probably thinks he's being tickled my a cute little squirrel monkey every time Brian touches him. There has to be some logical reason.

Thanks for all the torture this story gives me. I love all your stories regardless what you do with Brian :)..thank god it's only fiction.
Hugs, Lori

Author's Response:

Ahhhhh, dear Lori. I am truly speechless here - I mean truly! I have all but given up on redeeming this Brian in your eyes. I don't even think he's nearly bad as Warden!Brian. But... time will tell on that yet. :)

Back to your comment... I don't think your dream world will become a reality. I'm not even sure Craig will die here. It seems Justin gets to decide. Despite Brian thinking he will decide for him if that correct decision isn't reached, I do think Mr. Casino Owner is falling hard for Justin, and he will abide by his wishes. I do think there is some goodness in this Brian. It's just very well hidden. I think we all know he didn't have to go to all these lengths to get Justin. After all, in whichever 'verse, he is still Brian Kinney. :) Hopefully as the entire Craig/Justin drama comes to a head... and we are moving there next, perhaps this villian/protector will perform a few more redeeming acts. *Crossing my fingers* that he does! :)

Thank you as always for your comments, my friend. They are uniquely expressed as only you can do. *Hugss*

I agree completely. I don't think Justin will be able to tell Brian - kill him. That's just not our Sunshine. No matter what life hits him with... and without a doubt, it's been a lot - he never loses his giving heart. They will probably need to find another solution. We'll se how that goes.

poor Justin - this is a no win situation - he could never live with allowing Brian to kill his dad - nor could he live with not doing so and having harm come to his mom as a result

looking forward to more

Charle

Author's Response:

Thank you, Charle. Yes, Brian is quickly becoming tormented. He is completely taken with Justin, and is just beginning to realize this. I think this might be what humanizes him even further.

We'll have to see how a meeting will go between Craig and Justin. It could benefit Craig to be nice, but I can't really see that happening. Undoubtedly, I think some compromise will need to be reached. I can't ever envision Justin sanctioning his father's death in any verse.

Great update, my dear! And hot as usual.  You certainly are the best at the dominating, forceful Brian that gets our blood pumping.;)

I'll be interested to read about Justin's confrontation with his father if that is what he decides. I'm curious, though, why the other option of just handing the documentation/proof over to the authorities and letting the cops take care of him wasn't explored. However, unless he was put in jail with no bond that wouldn't be any guarantee that he still couldn't carry out some sort of vengeance against either Justin, Brian, or Jennifer.  Exciting update - I'll be looking forward to the rest.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hello, my friend. Thank you! You know I would never make their first time only one chapter. It had to be extended here. LOL. Well, if I excel at a more predatory Brian, you certainly do the same with a strong, yet more sensitive one. A hard mixture to maintain, and you do it so very well! :)

Whether wise or not, I think this hot-headed version of Justin will feel the need to confront his father. Of course, he'll know his safety won't be an issue. Justin would have to know that his sudden protector would never be too far from his side. In regards to your question. I think this Brian is accustomed to handling things his way. And... in this case, he fears leaving it in the hands of authorities. On paper all they really have is money passing from Craig to Chris. I can imagine that he would worry that the word of tape recordings and investigations done by one of his 'thugs' wouldn't go down favorably in a court of law. In the end, I think Brian will leave this decision to Justin. Some sort of compromise might need to be made.

Ahh, the passion between the two of them is *really* unquenchable, completely uncontrollable. I LOVE this chapter, and everything that happened here! The anger and jealousy and insanity are so palpable, I though I might explode while reading! Absolutely great, as usual!

I think even despite Brian seems to be in control, Justin is the one who really trapped him and who is now twisting the frightful and menacing Casino owner round his little finger. Maybe he is doing it unconsciously, but I noticed how many times he has already threatened Brian he’ll live this place for good in a mere attempt to get from him what he wanted. Brian obviously doesn’t quite realize he is being unintentionally played, though he has already figured he can’t say “no” to Justin in most cases, and the blond now captured all of his thoughts and feelings. I adore this Justin, he is so cunning! The equal partner to a threatening dark Brian.

I love the way their meeting progressed – at first Brian was furious, but after having talked with Justin just for a while, he completely lost his head with anger, he became beyond mad. Justin knows exactly how to push:)  And then… then everything changed into desire and passion, and even some tenderness, as far as I noticed.

The sex scene was so *hot*, I loved it! Finally they did it! In fact, I even started feeling sorry for Brian a few chapters ago, he was so dying to touch Justin, to have and to claim him, but the blond happened to be one of a strong resistance. But now games are finally over, and they both got what they wanted. I wonder what’ll happen after that – in the morning, I mean, because obviously one time isn’t going to be even nearly enough. I hope Brian and Justin will have at least a few days of happiness before the problems start appearing between them. I still don’t know what’d be better to do regarding Craig… if trying to imagine myself in Brian’s place, I would not hesitate to give an order to kill him… but then again, there is Justin here now, and his opinion must be included while making the final decision. I think Brian should be open for once and tell Justin everything, though I’m not sure it’s going to happen:( Anyway, I hope that eventually they’ll find their ways to each other again!

Thank you for the great hot update, I’m looking forward to more!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, my dear. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I couldn't see them waiting any longer. Brian might think this will take the edge off... but it may have just created a greater monster. We'll have to see on that. :)

I do agree totally. Justin is very clever here. He is working Brian into a state that is uncommon for him. We'll have to see how it plays out. Of course, Brian still needs to tell Justin about Craig. That could go in a number of ways. That should happen very soon. I have a feeling no matter what Craig has done, that Justin would sanction his death. There could be a greater battle of wills upcoming.

I'm very glad you enjoyed their tumultuous union. I think it was time. Thanks so much for commenting, my friend. I appreciate that so much. *Hugss*

I am working on 'Warden's Obsession' now. But I did update 'Somewhere in Time.'. It shouldn't be too long before another update. :)

Oh that clever devil. And Brian thought he was in control. And the resulting sex was unbelievable!

This was one great chapter!

I still cringe at the thought of poor stupid Justin being foolish enough to allow that to happen. I can't believe Brian is going to be willing to consider a real relationship with Justin, he's still too much of a control freak in the worst possible way. Lets hope a miracle happens and Brian can grow a tiny heart. Is Brian going to go even more nuts now that he had a taste of Justin? Will Ethan end up getting buried in the desert instead of only fired? How soon till Craig dies of lead poisoning? Maybe Brian's underwear are too tight and that's what making him be so mean. Maybe he should consider roomy boxers.
Lori

Author's Response:

*Grinning* I do so enjoy your remarks, Lori. They just make a chapter more complete. :)

I don't think Brian's plan worked too well. If he thought he could have the one go at our beautiful blond and be satisfied... well, I think he has only began to whet his appetite. Of course, what happens when Justin finds out Brian is holding his father. Undoubtedly, this Craig deserves every vile thing Brian would inflict on him... but will sensitive Justin be so heartless? We've probably seen the last of Ethan... so no death in the desert. I'm trying to wrap this one up too. We need to deal with Craig, and then see what we can do for these boys. I'm still laughing here - Brian Kinney in roomy boxers. Imagines all sorts of things falling out! LOL. What a delighful image! Haha.

DAMN!!!!!! that was a hot chapter. The fact that both Brian and Justin have come to realize there is something special happening between them makes it even better.

Update soon please~ JP

Author's Response:

Thank you, hun. Glad you liked it. I enjoyed writing some SMUT for our boys. My stories have been at the drama stages so much recently that it seems I hadn't done that in awhile. Of course, more drama to unfold in this one yet. Justin still doesn't know Brian is holding Craig. A few things to resolve yet. :)

Another hot chapter as only you can do.:)  I kind of wished Justin had held off, though, and made Brian work for it some more.  You know how much I enjoy the sexual tension and the chase, but I suppose we all knew this was inevitable. Since he's given his body to him, though, I don't think he'll have much of a defense against Brian now.  As harsh as Brian appears at times, though, ultimately we know his motivies are never totally narcissistic in nature.  Looking forward as always to the rest of this. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Thank you, Kim. I appreciate that. I was a bit on the fence whether they should or shouldn't yet. Obviously from a caring perspective - Justin shouldn't be giving himself to Brian yet. I elected not to drag out this particular chase since it isn't intended to be the long, drawn out saga such as 'Captivated'. Yes, you do have a good point. This intimacy could make it harder on Justin to stand on a solid footing with this Brian. He's held his own so far. As far as the rest of this goes, though - basically it will be in dealing with the Craig situation... and giving them a proper wrap-up. Of course, I don't think it will be a fluffy one. That really won't work in this one. But... I think we can still find them in a happily ever after without too much fluff. Haha.

Thanks so much for the comment, my friend. Now it's back to the land of time travel. A much different set of circumstances. LOL.  *Hugss*

Craig is awful and deserves everything he gets!  A date!!  Holy smokes the anger this is going to unleash...  I don't know how this can end well?.  Good Luck boys!

Author's Response:

Craig is definitely beyond evil in this story. It's good that Brian has him isolated now. I don't think the 'date' was what Brian expected. I can't imagine how much that angers him with all he's doing to protect both Justin and his mother. Sparks will undoubtedly fly. Thanks for commenting! :) *Hugsss*

Come on Jennifer, buck up and leave him.  OK I take it back, leave him (secretly and sneaky) and run for cover.  That's it Justin drag it out making it that much hotter!  That's it save the day and his mom!!

Author's Response:

Jennifer may seem weak, but she has strength too. I don't think Craig expected her to stand up to him. Despite being so dark, Brian is exhibiting a few hero qualities. Of course, we won't tell him that. :)

I hope you don’t mind my saying this, as a long time reader of your stories, but if Brian becomes Craig’s executioner than he becomes no better than Craig himself (regardless that his intentions are good or what Craig has already done). He’ll be just another killer. It’s not his place to be judge, jury and executioner. That’s what the justice system is for. It’s not perfect but it’s better than people taking the law into their own hands. I hope Brian doesn’t cross that line into vigilantism.

Author's Response:

I don't mind at all, and do understand your POV. Brian may or may not follow through with his plans for Craig. At this point it is being told from the mind set Brian would have in this world he lives and what he feels to be the only true way to - as he says - fix Justin's life. Brian has yet to evolve in this story. Perhaps once he has a bit more of a heart he will view things a bit differently. We'll see how it goes. But... nothing is a foregone conclusion just yet.

Thanks for reading and your comment. :)

OMG for once I guessed correctly, Ethan made a play for Justin. What a fool. I wouldn’t like to see Justin give in to Brian just because he is jealous and angry. Mr. Lord of all I survey! I love this line and I hope it indicates Justin is just as infuriated. Thank you for the update.

Cheers

Author's Response:

Ethan never does use much common sense. One would think he would have with this particular Brian... but the pattern does continue. I don't think Justin would give in just because Brian demands it. Although, I can envision a heated anger erupting into something approached equally by both men. I can see how Justin would have said that to Brian in this instance. That has been exactly how Brian has been behaving.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I hope you continue to enjoy it. *Hugsss*

Oh-oh-oh, I don’t remember the last time you’ve left such an EVIL cliffhanger! I can’t imagine waiting for the next chapter now, it’s simply unbearable! This morning I woke up thinking of how much I miss updates on “Trapped”, and here it is – fascinating, exciting as usual.

In this chapter, there are almost all moments which I’ve been hoping to see. Brian finally learned about Craig’s role in Justin’s bashing… I love how he immediately got concerned, angry and protective. I love that he seems to be ready to do anything for Justin, despite he doesn’t like to acknowledge it even to himself. His actions speak for themselves loud and clear.

This chapter made my beliefs about which Brian is darker waver. Now I think *this* Kinney is even more threatening than the one in the prison story! He frightens me more! At least for now. I can’t decide whether it’s all right that Brian intends to arrange Craig’s murder. Of course the monster doesn’t deserve to live, he can’t be called human anymore, but he is still Justin’s father, and the blond must still have some feelings for him – even if they aren’t strong at all. On the other hand, what choice does Brian have? If the evidence isn’t enough to imprison Craig, what can be done apart from the murder? This creature shouldn’t be allowed to walk freely, though I’m afraid if Brian does kill him, this will put a big wall between him and Justin. I can’t imagine what solution you’ll come up with!

Curious, how is Jennifer doing? Now she is alone, without her son or husband. What does she think about his disappearance?

Wow, Brian is sooo jealous! It’s adorable to see him like this. He hates the mere possibility of Justin’s liking someone else, and it’s obvious he is ready to destroy everyone standing on his way. Has Ethan gone for good, or should we expect to see him once more?

I love Ben’s words about Brian placing a safety net around Justin and being angry when the boy tries to break through it. This is such an interesting, unusual thought! So Brian is not only jealous, he feels like he is losing control, that his actions are not appreciated. All the more reason to be hostile towards anyone who is to blame for it even partly, particularly - Ethan.

The last scene made me squeal. Oh, please, please-please-please, let something finally happen between Brian and Justin! It’s been so long, I’m on the edge just like Brian is! Though I wonder how Justin can turn from being *this* angry into the one dying from desire. The fact that Brian is beyond furious, too, only makes the forthcoming hotter! It somehow reminds me of the last scene of 19th episode of season 2. Brian is so hurt, so angry, so jealous there… I can feel that that moment and the one in your story have a lot of similarities, and they both are *so* passionate! I can’t wait to see what and how will happen! Pleeease, update soon! And thank you so much for you constant inspiration, devotion and creativity!

Great title for the chapter, by the way, I completely love it. Thank you!

Author's Response:

Hello, my dear. It's always wonderful to read your insightful comments! Your kind and oh so encouraging support means more to me than I can say. :)

In my mind, at least at this point, the Brian of 'Trapped' and 'Warden's Obsession' are very similar. Each of them have good reasons to be that way, in accordance with the lives they live. Craig's fate isn't definite yet... although, I'm sure it is Brian's mind. I do agree totally, though. At this time, death would seem the only option to not only keep Justin safe, but his mother as well. Things can change. That's all I'll say on that right now.

Brian is definitely jealous, but Ben was insightful as well. There is more to it than just that. He is very territorial, and obviously a control freak. Justin has challenged that tremendously. And, with what Brian has just learned about Craig Taylor in regards to his own son, that had to be very unsettling to the man that is always in control. We probably won't see Ethan again. Of course, he will be discussed a bit in the next chapter. I don't think I want any prolonged Ethan moments. Lol.

Regarding Jennifer, I'd say she is going through the motions of filing for the divorce she informed Craig she was determined to have. I think she really needs to hear from her son to make her peace of mind more solid. We'll see if that happens.

I think you'll like where the next chapter will be heading. Something tells me that full-blown anger - between both of them equally - is going to erupt into a passion that neither of them expects. I'm glad you enjoyed the title and the chapter, my friend. Thanks so much for commenting. I appreciate that so much! *Hugsss*

Poor stupid little Justin, I think his burst of anger is not going to help him now. He might as well just lay down and take it like the hostage he is. His hope of surviving is less than zero. I'm sure Brian doesn't even have human blood keeping his evil body going. It's a given he doesn't have a heart. I knew Ethan wouldn't stand a chance at saving Justin, but I do have to give him credit for being brave enough to get him out for a small breath of fresh air. I would be gasping in relief to get away from the smokey tainted air in Brian's dudgeon of lights and sounds. I can't wait to hear about the disposal of all the bodies Brian is going to have to deal with. Oh God, I hope he doesn't feed them to the coyotes and lizard wandering the desert. Nah, I bet he just slops a little BBQ sauce on them and adds them to the buffet. I sure love to hate this gruesome tale. I can only hope Brian will turn into a semi human after his assault on Justin. I doubt it will happen but since the Grinch was able to grow his heart after learning what real love is it might happen to the Casino Devil.
Lori

Author's Response:

I think poor little Justin has just handed himself over into the lion's jaws with his outburst. With these two, a total explosion of anger can probably only be resolved in one way. At this point I'm not even sure which one will instigate their more intimate games. It could go either way with these out of control passions. I do think Brian has a bit of a beating heart... although maybe not very visible. He does seem to not only be jealous, but anxious about Justin's safety too. Of course, he believes that will disappear once he's satisfied his urges. I doubt it will be quite that simple, though. Regardless, I think that sexual tension needs to be resolved so they can move onto the matter of Justin's villianous father. In the end, I can see some softening in the 'Casino Devil' - at least towards Justin, but this premise was never designed to resemble anything fluffy. :)

I enjoy your comments and possible outcomes so much, my friend. As always, they make me smile. I only hope in the end, your suffering is greatly lessened. Thanks so much for your support, Lori. I hope your torment gets better soon. :) *Hugsss*

Justin on the other hand just jumped right out of the frying pan and into the fire. I'm sure Brian will make the burn as enjoyable as possible and have our little Sunshine coming back for more.

Author's Response:

I know another cliffhanger... but not quite so evil. Lol. I think Ethan was fated to be gone quickly. This Brian isn't one to play those kind of games. And Craig... well, I think Brian has already decided what to do with him.

Justin is definitely in a spot right now. We'll see how he handles that. I have a feeling two fiery tempers could erupt rather quickly. I can't imagine Justin leaving that suite - this time - without them exploring this almost undeniable attraction between them.

Uh, oh.....somebody's jealous....and somebody's in trouble....ha!  You WOULD leave it there, wouldn't you? Bad girl!  Not sure if Justin's going to go along with Brian killing his father, though, even if he IS a scumbag.  That's pretty drastic, but I could see the Brian in this story carrying that out.  Looking forward to the next chapter - watch out, Justin!  I DO like this more fiery version of him!:)  *Hugs* ~Kim

Author's Response:

Haha. I couldn't resist throwing in that jealousy card. I do adore a jealous Brian! You know I couldn't resolve it there. Will they or won't they? Perhaps that can be the next chapter title - we'll see! LOL. It is hard to imagine Justin sanctioning the hit on his father. I don't know if discovering Craig to be the mastermind behind his bashing and also intending to kill Jennifer would make him agreeable to that end. I'm not sure this Brian will give him a choice in that. In Brian's world, and in any realistic one this could be the only true way to protect both Justin and Jennifer. I guess we'll have to see how it plays out. I enjoy this fiery Justin too. He definitely does his best to hold his own. I'm not sure which one of them will lose it first when the tempers rage out of control when we see them again. :)

Damn, I don’t remember the last time I felt such a strong hatred towards someone like I feel now to Craig. What a horrendous bastard! He is so extremely bold and arrogant, how can he even dare talk to Jennifer like that while hoping to have her money?! I love the way you described this woman - she had weakness in past, but now she is strong enough to fight the temptation for the love she has to her beautiful son. I fell in love with her in this chapter, I admire her newborn strength and her devotion to Justin. But Craig! A real monster! I think he has completely lost all humanity, the impunity for having his own son bashed turned him into a bloodthirsty beast who now won’t stop. I only hope Brian will get him just in time, and this “creature” will finally pay for all his crimes!

I loved how two trainees left without Brian even telling them a word. The man is so powerful and independent – with all my love for Brian, it’s always a pleasure to see how everyone around respects and fears him. He knows how to present himself.

Justin finally realized that he has power over Brian. I guess it will help him to feel surer of himself in their further interactions, although it may drive Brian totally insane. I don’t know how long he will be able to tolerate seeing the blond beauty so close, yet so far away from what he truly desires. Ah, I can’t wait for something to finally happen between them! Though with this strong Justin it may not be so soon. The boy knows how to play, even with this dangerous kind of a real predator.

Interesting, what did Brian come up with to stop Craig’s evil intentions… I’m sure he’ll do everything he can to prevent them from happening - after all, I guess he cares about Justin and don’t want to see him that hurt. Now that he knows about Jennifer being in danger and Chris, he will also learn about Craig’s part in bashing Justin. Can’t wait to see his reaction! Craig will become a very dead man, and he so deserves it!

Thank you for the great update! I’m dying to read more!

Author's Response:

Craig is beyond evil in this story... but I think he has definitely met his match in Mr. Casino Owner. It was good and bad that Jennifer voiced her inner strengths in front of Craig. Now that he knows he can't fully control her or weaken her further, he elects to eliminate her entirely. A very bad man is this Craig. He took a big risk in sending Justin to Brian, as I think he will quickly discover. Not wise to send your son to the man you fear above all others - a man that is very adept at dispensing justice.

It seems Justin and Brian both have enormous power over each other. It will be interesting to see how much longer it takes for Justin to succumb. Justin does seem to be continuously weakening. I think some upcoming events will lure Justin in even closer. We'll see about those very soon. In any event, I think the elder Mr. Taylor is definitely living on borrowed time!

Poor sweet Justin, being mauled by that horrible boss and being forced to watch training films on how to cause serious drinking problems on others. You would think he would be unable to force other people to drink alcohol knowing what a evil drink it is. How can he be forced to do that after growing up with a alcoholic mother? I think Mr. Casino owner would be better off trying a different game to get more than just his hands on Justin. Perhaps offering him a sweet fuzzy puppy. I can only hope that once Brian does force his way into Justin's pants he is immediately transformed into a caring wonderful human being and he decided to devote his life to better things. I'm beginning to suspect Chris Hobbs is really Craig's boy toy lover and he is taking all that money to keep Chris happy because he has a small penis and can't really please the boy sexually. I hope Kip is able to follow orders good enough to prevent the demise of Jennifer. I can only hope the hit man is on the dim side and when he sees Craig cross dressing in Jennifer's clothes he mistakes Craig as the target and takes him out. As always I do enjoy your stories, even this one! It's a story I love to hate.
Lori

Author's Response:

Ahhhh. Your comments always make me smile. Poor Justin in the jaws of the hungry barracuda. Such a horrible fate he endures. :)

I don't think Justin has associated his new job with his mother's condition. We'll see if that becomes an issue, and if Brian pushes it upon realizing that it does. It doesn't seem like Justin's resistance will hold out too much longer. But, with all the other drama they have regarding Craig and Jennifer, perhaps it will be delayed yet. That is definitely an interesting theory regarding Craig and Chris - but I don't think it will happen in this story. I don't think I could stomach writing any sort of sex scenes for those vile monsters! Lol. Regardless of what happens back at the casino between these two very opposite men, I have confidence in Brian to do what needs done to handle Craig. I am glad you are enjoying my 'love to hate' story. I do appreciate your insightful comments immensely! *Hugsss*

"Why don't you pull it out?"

Oh, boy; LOVED that line - ha!  Of course, keys were the last thing on my mind when I read that.:)  Very neat twist at the end, BTW, and I happen to LOVE the UST and thrill of the hunt, as long as we get what we - and they - want in the end (wink, wink).  Great chapter - waiting anxiously for more:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Liked that line, eh? Haha. I think Brian was hoping it would place Justin in the right spirit. :)

I think Craig is digging himself into a hole he can't escape. I'm glad you're enjoying the chase. I think a quick surrender in this case wouldn't be realistic with how they started. I'm not sure this Brian will ever be Mr. Nice Guy... but he is showing more glimpses of humanity. LOL. I'm so glad you enjoyed it, my friend. Back to this as soon as I can. Thanks for commenting, Kim. *Hugsss*

Love the suspense! Hate the Craig! TAG

Author's Response:

Haha. Suspense is at a high... but it will go up a bit more yet. Yeah. Craig is a major pain that needs to be gone. The foolish man is definitely writing his own ending with this Brian. Thanks for commenting, TAG. *Hugsss*
