Awe that's so sweet. Brian is such an amazing dad and Tricky got into his heart in a big way. Even if Brian is I think afraid to show it openly. I love Tricky more stories from him please.

Lol poor Brian he is going to have so many bruises from the dog. He would be much better if he gave the dog hugs and head scratches lol

This is a perfect Easter fic! Thanks!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, JoAnn!  I'm delighted that you enjoyed it.  I will be writing another Tricky story in the near future.  Have to wrap up my two WIPs first. I AM working on the update to "My Heart's Desire," and should have that posted very shortly.  Thank you again for reading and for your support.  It is much appreciated.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

So much happening in this chapter.  Tricky finding a dead possum.  I'm surprised Justin didn't notice when he was hiding the eggs.  Good thing it wasn't a skunk, they would have had to use tomatoe juice to clean off the smell.  I learned that from watching Turtleman.  Justin has a knack for doing eggs and fixing up Easter baskets, but Brian knows how to please his Sunshine.  A basket filled with yellow submarine related items!  As always the pictures added so much to the story.  A wonderful Easter story, makes me long for chocolate rabbits and yellow peeps.

Author's Response:

LOL!  Don't get me started!  We just passed Halloween, and now there's Christmas candy and then Valentine's and then Easter. Ack!  I'll never get on a diet - ha!  I wonder what it is about dogs being attracted to dead animals and then rolling on top of them?  Yuck!  I am trying to incorporate what I have seen my own dogs do at various times, and this was one of them.  Thanks for the skunk idea, though!  That may just come in handy coming up; I love it!

And I love YOU for reading so many of my stories and for all your lovely feedback. Thank you so much.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Poor Brian.  His admirer seems intent on all things Kinney.  Well the dildo probably did look like a dog toy to him.  Nice of Deb to drop in and distract the two younguns.  Love the shirts she found.  Don't think I would be able to explain what a dildo is either. lol.

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: November 08, 2013 12:06 AM · On: Hop On Over To My Place

Brian seems to go through a lot of designer clothes whenever Tricky is around.  Sad to hear that Lindsay hurt her leg, but at least Gus and Tricky get to come Easter Eggs at Britan.  And what beautiful eggs they are!!!  The pictures are fantastic. Tricky's trick with the basket is pretty good, maybe when he gets home he can do it and little JR can pick up her toys to put in it?

Author's Response:

Thank you, Michelle; I'm so pleased that you enjoyed it!  I think Tricky will be making a return engagement (emphasis on the word 'engaged' - hint, hint) during Gus's summer vacation.  I've grown quite fond of that big scamp.:)  Thank you again for reading and for the feedback; and thank you for all the support you've given my stories.  I am very grateful.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

OMG! I can't believe I haven't reviewed this at all, it wasn't on purpose, honest. I like totally forgot, seriously, I was so intent on reading that I completely forgot to review. Oh... and *gasp* I don't think I reviewed your other stories either... which I definitely will, provided I don't forget again. ;)

Anyway, there's something strangely unique and truly entertaining about watching Tricky's interaction with Brian, and of course, with Justin and Gus. I absolutely love the comparison's between the "two blondes" LOL! So funny and clever, and bizarely similar. I could totally see these scenes completely written into the show, you've nailed the characters, and I love it!

And the previous chapter with "Cujo" finding his "new chew toy" that was too friggin' hilarious. It reminded me of a story I read quite a while ago about a very young Gus finding the "big boy toy box". ... It took me a little while to get the yellow submarine (and susequent yellow everything else) reference, but I figured it out, and thought duh! Oh well, I'm tired, what can I say?

Brilliant story my friend, absolutely amazing as usual, your talent and imagination knows no bounds, and I happily and gladly follow and enjoy your fantastic stories!

Cheers, Laura :)  xoxoxo

Author's Response:

Laura!  You must have heard the little hamster wheel squeaking in my head, because I was thinking about you!  I was getting concerned abou twhere  you went, Sweetie, so I'm so glad to hear from you.:)  I always love to hear your thoughts.  I'm so happy that you enjoyed my little Easter tale; there really is a dildo called a "golden vein," BTW.  I just hope my parents never check my web history on this computer or they'll wonder what I'm up to - ha!  I think Brian might be warming up to Tricky, and come summer when he and Gus come back to visit I have a sneaking suspicion he just might play a key role in something Brian needs to have done (how's that for a teaser?  LOL!).

Thanks again for the comments, dear friend; always a delight to hear from you.  I hope they'll be some of your own wonderful stories coming up soon.  Take care -  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Pepe LePew indeed!  He is adorable though.  What a fun Easter for Gus, the guys and us!  I liked when Gus noticed the Easter Bunny brought him lemon bars and said "I didn't know he knew her." Hee, so cute!  Brian is definitely mellowing about Tricky – at least until the dog finds something else dead ;P

Author's Response:

Hi, Kim!  Thanks for reading and for the comments, Sweetie; you're always so good about that.:)  Yes, I think especially after Tricky helped save Justin's life Brian is having a hard time not warming up to him just a little. I suspect he'll be back for summer vacation, too (hint, hint), and Brian just may have a special 'job' for him then....So glad you enjoyed this story!  Thank you for letting me know - that means a lot to me.  I hope I can continue to write stories that you will enjoy.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Thank you so much, Kim!  I'm glad you liked it.:)  I'm assuming you're a dog lover, too.  I love labradors - they are such lovable, goofy dogs.  I think Tricky may return for the summer if readers don't mind; Brian has a studio still to build for Justin and I have some other ideas for our favorite pooch.  Swimming, anyone?  And I'm not sure how much tennis the boys will get in when they're using a certain dog's favorite toy - ha!  Thanks again, Kim, and thanks for always taking the time to leave feedback; I really appreciate that.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

- Jackie

Author's Response:

Hi, dear friend - thank you for reading and for the comments!  I didn't realize how many gifts there were for Yellow Submarine until I checked it out.  They even had a shower curtain, but I knew that would be way too much for Brian to stomach - ha!  Thanks again for all your support, Sweetie.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

loved this story it was wonderfully sweet and funny.  we all loved it.  we are all happy to be back together again. BB talked to the powers that be that he isn't to go travelling to other hospitals for a least six months to a year as he andwe his team need to take care of things here and he has too much paper work to do to be gone long periods of time.  Lee is waiting for his fav to be updated.  just passing this tid bit along ha! ha!. have a wonderful week. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, my friends!  Glad to hear that you're all together again:)  BTW - I almost gave Debbie a different Easter shirt that said "chillin' with the Peeps" in honor of your group, but ultimately I decided that unfortunately it wasn't quite 'goofy' enough for our favorite redhead.:)  Tell Lee that I have started on the next chapter of his favorite story and hope to have it updated very soon.  I don't see any more (new) stories getting in the way of updates for some time now, so that should help keep me on track.

Thank you again for all the encouragement and support!  Take care and talk to you soon - *Hugs*  ~Kim

What a perfect story. I did shed a few tears over the death of the poor possum. I've always had soft spot for those cute critters, they are so pink and I love their bald tails. I just had to tell myself he died a peaceful death after a long healthy life of eating free range chickens he saved from a horrible death in a chicken factory. I know Tricky enjoyed his roll in the remains. That is Doggie DisneyLand. Now I want an Easter Basket, they all were so special. Are you sure this story is finished, don't we need to be at Deb's at 5:00.... come on, what's another chapter or 12. Thanks for making my Easter very festive.
Lori

Author's Response:

Hi, Lori - you're so sweet to read and comment; thank you for that!  Yes, I think this will have to do it for now, because I'm feeling decidely guilty about not working on my other WIPS, and I really need to get back to those.  But I definitely think I see Tricky making at least one more 'guest appearance' in the summer when Gus is on vacation if everyone can put up with one more episode.:)  Thank you for all the support and for your kind words, my friend;  I appreciate that so much.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Gotta love that dog! LOL

I'm in-between working on my kid's science project and going to pick him up from school before cooking dinner, but I had to read and review. I think that dogs did it out of jealousy.

Thanks for the laugh!

Author's Response:

Aww...thanks, Sweetie, for taking the time to leave a comment; I appreciate you making the effort to do that!  I'm glad you're enjoying the latest tale of our rambunctious pooch.:)  Wait until you see what trouble he gets into during the Easter egg hunt!  I  couldn't resist Tricky finding Brian's 'toy' - LOL!  It WOULD look a lot like one of those rubber rolled-up newspapers I suppose - ha!  So glad you're enjoying the story!  I'm close to finishing the last part - up to about 8,000 words on the next chapter so far - so I'm hoping that maybe I can post it later tonight still.  Thanks again for taking time out of your busy day to comment; that means a lot to me.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Actually Kim I only removed second banners that were on your story panel. And as mentioned we are having issues with the tinyMCE editors; it isn't just you for sure.

Because there's a limit how many images one can save per account - we now have Capt. Photon here for more images as admins need to add them. For the record, Mike and I trade off answering the emails from the "Contact Us" feature of the website. We do sign our names usually.

bob, aka: Capt. Photon!

Author's Response:

Thanks for the info, Bob!  I did notice that I have almost a page of images uploaded now for my stories, and I was curious if there was a limit per author.  Hopefully that won't be an issue for me - so far it's been working out very well except for when I somehow post duplicate banners.  At least that might give some of my stories more attention, though - LOL!  Thanks as always for your prompt reply - you guys are the best!  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie - had to find a good shirt for Debbie as well as 'spread the love,' too - LOL!  Poor Brian - had no chance to try out his new toy on his man.:)  So glad you like Tricky's latest adventure, my friend!  I'll get the rest of it posted very soon.  And let me know what you decide about the convention!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Reviewer: Marny (Signed) · Date: April 09, 2012 10:52 PM · On: Hop On Over To My Place

I so love Tricky !! and this story, thanks.

Aggrr I'm having trouble deciding if I'm going to the convention. Haha I know I know last week I said I'm not going. Yesterday my mother-in-law and brother-in-las  ... they say I must go, it's someting only for me. And my stepsister agrees. * sigh *

I which hotel are you going to stay?

Haha ... to be continued

Author's Response:

Hi, Marny!  Well, I for one am glad you're still thinking about going!  I would LOVE to meet up with you and spend some time ogling our gorgeous boys together.:)  Three of us are all staying in the same place as the convention - the Maritim.  But someone else tried to book a room there recently and was told they only had space from the 7th through the 11th, I think, and she's staying until the 14th like we are, so she wound up going to the City Hotel Koln, which Elke recommended as an alternative.  Do you know Rory  (galeandrandy on LJ?).  That is who is staying there.  If you're only going to be there for the weekend, though, you might still be able to book a room at the Maritim, but I know it's a lot more expensive.  You are more than welcome to spend time with the four of us, Marny (wirthwoman and BJ52 - Dixie and Judy) as well as Rory!  Please think about it!  It would be great!!  At the very least, let's plan on meeting somewhere while we're there, okay?  We can take the train to see you if necessary.

Please think hard about it - I think it will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and you really need to go!  (Puppy-dog eyes...).  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Added Easter as a new sub-category. Did I sufficently freak you out about the banners vanishing? (snicker)

Author's Response:

Yes!  And sending me an email under Mike's name didn't help, either!  BTW - you must have read my mind about the Easter sub-category, because I meant to ask you to do that when I sent you the email - thanks!  I wish I COULD chalk the banner issue up to you just being mischevious, but I have a feeling it's more than that.  Of course, if it's just me having the problem, then it appears to be more of an 'operator error' issue on my part - ha!  Thanks for the response - I'm keeping my fingers crossed it won't 'disappear' again!  ~Kim

Clever of Justin to ‘call in reinforcements’ and get that lovely private time with Brian. :P  Deb’s t-shirts were a crack up but the dildo theft KILLED ME!  LOLOL

Happy Easter!

Author's Response:

Ha!  I know - talk about a "big" insult!  To Brian that would be like pulling one of his teeth out - LOL!  Well, you must admit that to a dog it would seem quite attractive, too - kind of like a big rubber loaf of bread.:)  So glad you enjoyed this one, my friend!  I should have the last part up very shortly.  Thanks for taking the time to comment - and don't forget to lock up any valuables you may have lying around - ha!  Happy Easter to you, too!  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

Great to see Brian's "most zealous admirer" (snicker) back!  Britin would be an awesome place for an Easter egg hunt, especially with him to carry the basket.  Justin's eggs are adorable!

Author's Response:

Hi, Kim!  Great to hear from you, Sweetie.:)  I'm happy that you're enjoying Tricky's return engagement - not sure if Brian feels the same yet, especially when you find out what Tricky does in the next chapter - LOL!  I'm working on the 3rd part right now - I think that will be the end (although I've said that before - LOL!).  I hope you like the rest of it.   Thank you for reading and for leaving feedback; that means so much to me.  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

Author's Response:

Hi, Stephanie, my dear.:)  Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment.:)  Perhaps it's due to being around a holiday - the site seems kind of slow right now for everyone for some reason.  I'm glad you're enjoying Tricky's little tale, though - I may have to bring him back for summer vacation possibly.  I'm working on the next chapter right now, and of course Tricky's getting into just a little more trouble (what else would we expect?  LOL!)  But I think he's slowly wearing Brian down....Thank you again for your kindness, my friend, that means a lot.:)  *Hugs and woofs - LOL!*  ~Kim

I love Tricky, I would be willing to cast Justin aside for a giant lovable dog like Tricky...but I guess the story would be a little less exciting. The Easter eggs are adorable and now I want to dye eggs. I love this story.
Lori-the doglover

Author's Response:

Hi from one dog-lover to another, Lori! Always so nice to hear from you, my friend.:)  I couldn't resist Tricky showing up for Easter - love that dog and he's so cheap to feed - ha!   I think Brian may be going out to the stables in the next chapter to try and find a saddle that will fit him, though, if he gets any bigger!

Thank you for reading and for your comments, my friend, I appreciate that so much!  I'm not sure if I would completely push Justin out of the picture - he's pretty spectacular as well - but I think maybe by the time the story's over they can at least all come to an 'understanding.'  I'll get the next part posted very soon - I'm working for a deadline of Easter if at all possible.  Thanks again - hope you enjoy the rest!  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

Hi, Brian, my dear - what can I say that I haven't already said about you, lindc, Lee, and the rest of the peeps?  You always manage to lift my spirits when I need it, and for that I will always be forever grateful to all of you.  You and the others who so religiously review for me are so special to me.  I hope the hospital realizes how blessed they are to have all of you working for them and taking care of the patients.  I can't imagine a more compassionate group.  I only hope when I need someone like that that they will be as great as you all are.:)

I'm sorry to hear how hard you've been working, but I'm not surprised.  I do hope they let you go home on Easter.  And please try to take some time for yourself!  You so deserve it.:)  BTW - I love dogs, too, but due to living with my older parents I don't think they really want me to have one right now.  So I will just have to continue to dogsit for my neighbor's dogs and hope one day I can have another one.  You are very thoughtful not to have a dog with your work schedule, but perhaps a couple of cats?  They could keep each other company and seem to not need the constant company of humans.  I'm more of a dog person, though, definitely.:)

Anyway, thank you again, Brian.:)  It means a lot to think that you took the time out of your busy schedule to read and review my story.:)  I should have the rest posted very soon, and then it's onto Lee's favorite ("My Heart's Desire").  Have a safe trip home Sunday.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

What a sweet, funny, cute story.  Sorry I haven't been up to snuff in reading and reviewing-have had a lot of rl issues knocking me for a loop.  Things are better now I hope.  This story is just what I needed for my doldrums.  thanks. Hope you have a nice Easter.

Author's Response:

Hi, Kym!  Don't worry about me - I'm just glad that things are better for you now.  I've missed you, though!  I'm so glad you enjoyed Tricky's latest adventure.:)  I'll get the rest of this posted very soon - hopefully before Easter.  Thanks for all the support, and I hope things remain on the upswing for you.  Happy Easter to you, too!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

love this story-love the three (four) of them together.  all the innuendo is adorable-doggy style. cracked me up.  trickey is a riot and loves brian so much so funny when he jumps on him and slobbers so feakin funny.  laughed my butt off.  can't wait to read this one to the peeps.  i just got back from bean town and am really tired.  i'm not really comfortable being away from my digs for too long.  BB is still there for a few more days.  he would have liked to be home for easter, but no luck. this one is a keeper so adorable. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  I'm glad to hear you got home safely.  I hope you can get some rest for a while, and I'm glad you enjoyed the story.  Poor Brian - he's used to a lot of adoration, but I don't think he quite knows how to handle this particular blond - ha!  You'll be glad to know that he does get to do something else on his back in the next chapter other than being knocked down (wink, wink).  Thanks again for all your encouragement - you're very special.:)  *Hugs*  ~ Kim

Kim, I just absolutely love these little glimpses into everyday life that you give us in this series - and this one is a hoot!!!

"Doggy style.  The last time I was here I heard you tell him how hot he looked in the Jacuzzi when he did it doggy style.  Why does HE get to do it but not Tricky?" > > > too funny - I almost peed myself laughing!

Can't wait to see how Justin deals with getting his alone time with Brian - not to mention the growing attraction - not to mention growing body size - of the dog that has kept them frustrated.

Besides that, I know that there will be some great 'hot activity' between these two when Brian rebuilds the private studio that his boy is pining over.

great story - thanks for the little Easter 'gift'

Charle

Author's Response:

Hi, Charle, my friend.:)  Yeah, not much plot to this one, is there?  Occasionally I have to write one of these, though  and I couldn't resist the 'doggy style' comment - ha!  It's amazing how children take a lot of things literally, isn't it?  Poor Gus - just wait until he gets old enough to understand what's REALLY going on - ha!

I'm so glad you're enjoying this little Easter tale - thanks again for taking the time to comment.:)  *Big Hug*  ~Kim

Adorable! Looking forward to more!

Author's Response:

Hi, Stephanie, my friend; thank you for reading and especially leaving a comment.  At the sake of sounding pitiful, after 185 readers and no comments I was beginning to wonder if anyone liked this. :(  So I thank you sincerely for the kind feedback; that means a lot to me, as well as all your ongoing support.  I will get the rest of this posted very shortly, and I'm sending you a *big,* grateful hug.  ~ Kim
