A very good chapter! Gus's mom's crying brought tears to my eyes, seriously. And I love the idea of this young couple's scheming/determination to bring Brian and Justin together, as well as peace to the family. And yes, just like Sunny, I'm glad (sorry, Daniel) that Daniel is dead and Justin is single. Yeah!!! Well done, Vin!

Thank goodness that Daniel Fletcher(RIP) has passed.For a while I was worried that this would not have a BJ ending. Now I can see the possiblility of it, however, I would still prefer the journey to it.

I liked the way both parts of the story moved along here. The way you described the roots of Lindsay’s actions is thorough and thus very satisfying. Her selfish, traitorous actions are heartbreaking. Gus was admirably kind to her.

My thoughts on Lindsay in this story were that she's one of those people that consciously takes the easy road and is therefore perpetually dissatisfied with her situation and rather than blame herself for her choices, she blames others for their success. Or maybe I am overanalysing...lol...oh well, it happens.
As for Gus being kind... yeah, I thought that Gus being mad at everyone on Justin's or Brian's behalf would only create more problems. Gus wants to solve things, not perpetuate the sad situation his family is in. His route to a happy togetherness with family is forgiveness.

Yes...I knew Lindsay was jealous of Brians and Justins happiness and purposely destroyed it. Such a cheap and nasty thing to do. She is a real bitch.
It made me sad that Justins partner died, but now I have a little bit hope, that Justin will talk and listen to Gus. Maybe there still is a chance to get Brian and Justin together again, to be happy again. I'm sure they still love each other.
Gus and Sunny are so cute together. *sigh*

Oh, I am so glad Gus and Sunny are cute, rather than nauseating... LOL! I was so afraid that I'll get them somehow "wrong" and turn off the readers. Your validation means a great deal to me.
Yeah, Lindsay was a total bitch, but I hope I was able to portray her remorse and at least allude to the fact that 12 years of guilt had changed her for the better. If I didn't...oh, well...maybe next time! :)

You gave us a new mystery : the little girl's name. I really hope it isn't Brianna. It would be disrespectful toward Brian and Daniel to raise the child of the actual boyfriend and named her after his ex-boyfriend. I saw even worst : Renesmee. Really disappointing.
I can't wait to see when Gus will succed to make Brian talk about Justin.

Funny you should mention that...LOL. My original idea WAS naming the kid Brianna, but I wasn't sure whether or not it would work. I've been going back and forth on that pretty much since the beginning, which is one of the reasons her name was 'missing' from this chapter. It wasn't because I was trying to create a mistery, actually, but because I was still so very unsure of the name. After reading your very accurate comment (yes, it would be on the disrespectful side) I decided to go ahead and scratch Brianna off the list of possibles. But... since the moment of revealing her name in a natural-sounding situation has passed, I'll have to leave it for the epilogue (which is close at hand, thankfully). So, this complitely unintentional mystery continues. LOL

For the first time in many years of reading stories about BJ, the revelation you gave in Lindsay's speech and honest answers she gave to Gus, WOW, you finally described her in all her "glory", and to revel that once she was very jealous woman, and the awful thing she did to BJ never lessen the guilt she is feeling still after 12 years. Most of all, I loved the ending of this chapter, Gus maybe looks like Brian, but he is not afraid to show his feelings, and he is prepared to shout them for world to hear it. Now I'm waiting for Justin's grand entrance. Metka

I must confess. I was hoping Justin stayed happy and content with his husband and kid in England. I would want no part in dealing with Brian and his family again. I would keep a safe distance. So I was disappointed that Daniel was dead.
I have to see how Brian can make up for this one. I still feel he should have stepped up to the plate. It was his friends that screwed it up.
