Fantastic, I was sad at the start when Justin was alone on the train, that horrible man demanding Brian go for a meeting with him making him stay behind. I was delighted when the widow of the man who died rang and gave Brian the news that she was in charge not the horrible man and he didn’t have to have the meeting.

Justins reaction to seeing Brian turn up just like he did to Brian all those years ago was fantastic and beautiful. They really made magic on the train didn’t they. They make you smile with their love and passion.

Such sn amazing story xx

Author's Response:

I am so excited that you also read this sequel to my very first story, Vicki.  I thought it would be ironic if Brian was the one who couldn't travel this time because of a client rather than Justin.  But as always happens with our boys, Lady Luck was on their side and provided a means for them to be together anyway.  I had such fun researching the kind of train trip they would have in Europe and I'm so glad you enjoyed going along for the ride too.  Thank you very much for taking the time to let me know how you feel about my work.  I am deeply grateful  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Another great fic I enjoyed it so much I was sad it suddenly ended for me lol

Author's Response:

This story was so much fun to write.  It reminded me of how nervous I was when I wrote the very first story, and how proud I was when I completed it.  I'm so pleased you enjoyed the story, Chris.  Thank you so much for checking out some of my work recently.  You are truly appreciated.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

I felt a need for some deeply felt love between Brian and Justin in the wake of the QAF Cologne convention.

I admit a bit of sadness knowing that Randy ultimately saw the couple parting ways (though he carefully tried to coach his words to leave a bit of possibility)... but I choose to think that they are soul mates that would always return to each other.

Clearly, he needs to read some of your excellent fanfiction!

Author's Response:

A very dear friend of mine attended the Cologne convention and I am looking forward to her reports on the events.  I know from previous Randy interviews that he was always hesitant to think of Brian and Justin as soul-mates who would end up together in the end, but that is just one person's opinion and I can't fault him for it.  However, he can't escape the fact that far more of us believe in the 'forever after' relationship for the couple.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate the fact that you turned to one of my stories to reinforce that image.  I'll always see them as the ultimate couple.  After all, they brought out the best in each other, and isn't that what true love is all about?  Thank you so much for your comments.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

This story was beautifully written. The attention to details really brought the story to life. I loved seeing Brian show his love for sunshine. Glad to see them still itn it for the long haul. Thanks for sharing :o)

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for commenting on this story, ColorLet.  One of the best parts of writing involves researching details of scenes I'm going to write about.  I learn a great deal that way, and i love pssing it on through my stories.  I am so glad you enjoyed the holiday with Brian and Justin.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Oh no why a bottom Brian in this story? :(

Author's Response:

Oh dear, I'm sorry if that isn't something you like to imagine, Erin.  But if you will recall, Brian did indeed bottom for Justin in the series.  It is true that he didn't make a habit of it, but he wanted to give Justin that gift and so he did.  That doesn't have anything to do with changing his personality.  Top or bottom, a man is who he is and Brian will always be Brian!  Thank you for taking the time to comment.  Grammy

Well that was even better than I had hoped for.  You out did youself on this one.  The way you described every detailed was beyond amazing.  I could feel the train moving and hear the wheeling clicking along the rails.  I couldn't help wondering if your train ride was as exciting as Brian and Justin's?  I hope your food was at least as good!  It's hard to believe you really are a grandma who lives in Texas when I read your stories.  I think you really must be an international playboy living an exciting life around the world drinking for exotic fountains where ever you find them.  Here it is almost 1am and I'm to wired now to go to sleep, this has been a big day for me, cell phone and a new story from you.  Not too many days like this in one life time.  I am so glad to know that you are safe and alive and writing like a wild woman.  I will wait on my chair for the next update.  I'm so proud of you for working so hard on your craft for another year.  Your talent is a national treasure and will be loved for years and years.

Hugs Lori

Author's Response:

Is it any wonder that I love to dedicate stories to you and find your friendship to be one of my greatest treasures, Lori?  Your generosity of spirit is more inspiring to me than I can ever put into words.  My gratitude for your encouragement is boundless.  I hope you know that.

Boy, do I wish my Florida train trip was even half as exciting as Brian and Justin's.  LOL!  But of course I had my Granddaughter with me so that could hamper any hanky-panky, even if by some miracle I had the chance to indulge in any.  And no, the food on Amtrak is certainly good, but nothing like what the Orient Express has to offer.  I researched it and that is exactly the kind of meals they serve.  Now I have added a trip on the Orient Express to my Bucket List.  Of course, I first have to figure out a way to get overseas.  Btw, I posted a picture of Brian and Justin's hote suite at the Ambassador Hotel in Vienna on my Live Journal site along with the story.  I couldn't figure out how to do that here.  I hope you'll check it out if you can.  It is really quite a place made for romance.

Warmest hugs and affection, Grammy

I have to leave you a review before I even read this story.  I was getting very worried about you as I haven't heard a word from you or seen a single posting from anyone in the family in days!  I was starting to panic.  I'm glad to see you are still alive.  Now I can read this before bedtime tonight.  I want to wait for a calm quiet time to savor this jewel.  I know it's going to be filled with everything I love.  Hands down you are my favorite author.  I will shower you with more praise once I'm done with this long waited for gem.

Huge hugs and I can cancel the panic attack.

Lori

Author's Response:

Oh my dear Lori, I have spent the last few days trying everything I could think of to hook up with you through Skype.  I finally managed to do it with my oldest brother, Marq in Denver, but the info I have for you wasn't working for video calls.  I'm going to send you an email and tell you what Skype says I need and maybe that will work.  I also need to check out all your videos.  I've been swamped lately with trying to get out the very best Anniversary story I could while also finishing up another chapter of 'In An Alternate Universe', plus working on a fic for a different couple.  My second favorite couple is Deniz & Roman from the German soap, Alles was Zahlt and there has been a lot of turmoil going on at their fan sites.  It's even worse than when they cancelled Queer as Folk.  I'll tell you more about it when we talk.  You've been in my thoughts, as always.  I hope you will enjoy this story.  No lamb gets eaten, but there are no camels.  Never panic, Lori.  If something ever happened, someone in the family would make sure you knew about it.  I promise you that.  Much love, Grammy
