That was brilliant, I'm so proud of Fin and he will do brilliant things in there. I bet he and Tony can have fun there and when Gus comes to visit playing hide and seek would be fun or riding mini bikes down the long halls lol I still hope they get to do the pony ride,

I am trying to slowly develop Brian's relationship with his father; after all this time I think to push them together like nothing had happened before wouldn't be very realistic. It's funny what you said about Brian not wearing hats. I think that the only time I remember him wearing a hat was during the candleight vigil, when Ben got into a fight. By the time Brian was in the car the hat was off. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong. Anyway, VERY little hat wearing, for sure.
Lovely story. Maybe Fin will realize what that flash was on Tony's face. (?)

Author's Response: Hi, my friend! Well, I can remember a few times when Brian wore some questionable shirts (I still remember that ghastly plaid one! Who was dressing his character that day? LOL!), but yes, he normally didn't wear a hat, did he? I am trying to find some more similarities between father and son in the story, and thought this one would fit.; I'm glad you're still enjoying it; and yes, the question about Fin and Tony will be resolved one way or the other.;)

Thanks for the chapter.
“We did it”, said by Fin, meant so much. A wonderful emotional
comment, for us readers too. Then just a little later Brian said, “it's
been a hell of a ride.” It sure has, and again for us readers too.
I thought it was kind of funny that Fin started off his address by
telling everyone what he is not going to talk about, which means he
just talked about it
Also, it seems that Justin and Brian took special notice of Alex. But
why?

Author's Response: Hi, David! Thank you for continuing to read this story, and for bearing with me in between updates; hopefully I can update quicker now that I am not betaing so many authors. I have really grown to love Fin and Tony's relationship, and there will be more to come between them as they adjust to their new lives. Both men are strong and confident, which could create some difficulty. But their love will persevere and carry them through eventually. As for Alex, there will be some further adjustments needed by both men, as well as by her. Where her ultimate role lies remains to be seen, but it will be resolved before I'm done.

Finally Fin sworn in. Nice chapter. I hope things go smoothly for him and Tony. I know how your creative mind works---sooooo, maybe a few bumps along the way. I will tell Lee this is up, he is sleeping. Just got off a double. Is there a problem with your job. I read in one of your answers to a reviewer something going not so well. Sorry, just worried for you. lol
Author's Response: Hi, lindc! Don't apolozie; I appreciate your concern. My teaching job is secure for this year; but it's on a year-to-year contract, and the enrollment has been way down. So not sure if I will have the class next year or not, which will leave me out in the cold, at least figuratively speaking. I'm hoping they'll find some role for me, however. Might be the impetus I need to actually try and write a fiction novel, though; would love to try at some point.
There may be a few other 'bumps in the road,' especially with Alex, and I do have some loose ends to tie up yet, so at least a few more chapters to go.;) Give Lee my love. And as always, thank you for all the support! *Hugs* ~Kim

Wow what a chapter in this we see the full gamut of emotions for Fin. He wants the role but he cannot believe he is there, he wants his partner and his son very close. However he knows that he has the love of his partner Tony and son and son in law and the extended family.

But I have a feeling he will rise to the occasion. At the same time, he will need to reassure his partner that things will not drastically change between them.
