I had a honest intention to review more often, but couldn't tear myself from reading.

This is entirely your fault for making the story so mesmerising :lol

You have the talent to describe them so vividly and real.

I love little gems like "I hate new shitrs" :)

Hopefully THIS elections will go right...

Can't wait for more interaction with Alex!

I'm so glad Justin told Brian of his dreams to have a baby, I hope he agrees to it. Lordy how on earth did he get bail grrrr

OMG, I totally forgot to review this! I knew the baby issue would come up and I liked how you handled it. Brian didn't say yes, didn't say no. I'm not sure canon!Brian would agree to another child, as much as he loves Justin. I think them taking in Alex would be a good compromise.

And now Adam's out?! *shudders* Even with the extra security, I think Justin and Tony are right to be scared.

Well shit!  Poor Justin.  Just when he thought he'd been through the worst, and that maybe he could finally put everything behind him and move on, he finds out Adam is out and probably aiming for Brian again!

Glad he finally told Brian about wanting a child, and I'm so glad Brian took it as well as he did.  He didn't say yes, but he didn't say no either.  That is HUGE for Brian Kinney.

I suspect that the more he thinks about it, the more Brian will warm up to the idea.  He loves his son, he loves his husband, and he will love the child they raise together.  Now we need to put the creeps in this story away permanently, get Fin in the Governor's mansion, and get our boys back to their normal chaos so they can move on with their lives.  But don't do it too quickly.  I'm loving this story!  Can't wait for more.

Author's Response:

Hello again, Sweetie!  I'm glad you're still enjoying this story.  Don't worry - I have so many loose ends yet, I think it will take a while to get it all completed and tied up  I should have the next part up very soon, since I had a lot of it already written.  Alex will be making a return appearance, as well as a couple of ne'er-do-wells.  (Hmm...who could it be?).  And which man will be the bigger problem?

I'll get this updated again shortly, and then it's onto "Parent Trap;" I'm just now getting to the climax there (in more ways than one - ha!).  Thanks again, my friend, for reading and taking the time to review.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I still hope that Alex will be the “baby” that Justin gets. There are already so many stories where Justin biologically fathers a child (in around 75% of cases it will be a girl, Daphne is the biological mother appoximately 50% of the time and there is a 25% chance that the girl will be called Briana!) but I can’t think off hand of another story where Brian and Justin adopt an older child so that would be a refreshing change.

Author's Response:

Hi, Rixa!  THANK YOU for reading and for the thoughtful comments!  Ha!  I had to laugh at your synopsis of the typical "Justin as a father" stories - unfortunately, in more cases than none you are absolutely correct (I'm somewhat guilty of that myself, although I would NOT name a child "Briana" - I think that has been used WAY too much by now!).  Anyway, Alex will be making another appearance in the next chapter, and not exactly in a good way - at least initially.  And there will definitely be some surprises along the way regarding that character.  So I hope I can continue to make that aspect of this story a little different than most.:)

I'm working on the next update to this now - it was actually supposed to be part of this chapter, but I went ahead and posted the first part to get it updated.  So it shouldn't be too long before the next part is finished.  Thank you again for reading and taking the time to comment; that is greatly appreciated and keeps me motivated to keep writing.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Nice moments between B&J talking about the possibility of a child.  Not a decision to make lightly, for sure.  Nice read, hon' ... keep 'em coming.

- Jackie

Author's Response:

Thanks for reading and for the encouragement, my friend; I really appreciate that so much.  I am working on the next chapter right now - it will hopefully speed things up just a bit more. Thank you for all your support; it means a lot.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Great chapter Kim. thanks.

Author's Response:

Marny!  I've missed you; hope everything is okay and my story isn't starting to get too predictable.:/  I'm glad to hear from you; hope everything is well on your end, my friend.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

"How can someone who professed to love me change so much?"

It was always difficult for me to understand that aspect of Craig myself. I could never believe that he would turn on his son just for being gay. I can see Justin having a hard time accepting that he father could hate him in this story.

"First I need to make sure all of your father-producing parts are in good working order just in case I DO decide to say yes."

I love that line. I always enjoy the playful and humorous sexual comments Brian makes to Justin.:)

I thought you did a nice job of showing as aspect of Brian and his father's relationship with the touchy-feely example.

I thought the Steward incident was behind them. Now they have Craig and Steward to worry about. My money is on Craig.

Excellent chapter and I can't wait for more!

Hey, I loved that "vote" part of the banner. What happened to it?

Author's Response:

Hi, Sandra!  I always look forward to your comments and the thought you put into them; thank you for going to all that trouble; it really helps me to determine what parts readers like the most.  I wouldn't worry TOO much about Stewart; yes, he is still intent on causing trouble, but I think it would be a little overly melodramatic to have him hunting them down again.  I think that while he is still disgusted by Brian and Fin's lifestyles, at this point I see him directing his anger elsewhere, and that will manifest itself probably in the next chapter.  I should be able to post the next chapter soon.

As for the banner, sigh.... I was told by another reader that they preferred the old one, so I changed it back.  But maybe I can tweak it a little more to include the "Vote" part from the other banner.  I'll see what I can do.:)

Thanks again for all your support, Sandra; I am very grateful to you for that.  I hope I can continue to write stories that you will enjoy.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

ok I know I have already reviewed this chapter but what the hell, great update! I

can not wait to read what your evil mind came up with for the next part!

BTW- I really liked the previous picture you had for this story, I like the photos

Where randy is really young, like from the show. why did you change it?

Either way, I love all the beautiful photos you have for each story. And again, amazing

update!

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend - I'll never complain about getting duplicate feedback.:)  I have most of the next chapter already written, so it shouldn't be too long now.  As far as the banner goes, I'm sorry if I disappointed you with the new one.  I may go back to the old one and tweak it a little; I wasn't too happy with some of the positioning in that one, and I thought that in light of the timeline in this story that they should look older.  But I'll take what you said into consideration.  Thanks again for reading and for your support.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

OMG justice sometimes does seem to favour the criminal and leave the victims to feel violated all over again. Poor Justin he is on such an emotional roller coaster first Craig and now fearing for Brian's life again. Then he also has that safe feeling that Brian did not say no :)

Author's Response:

Hi, Chris - thank you for reading and for the feedback, my friend; I guess this was more of a transitional type chapter in between some more of the action.  As far as Stewart goes, I really don't think I could realistically have him going after Brian or Fin again, but he WILL be around to cause some more trouble coming up.  The question is, will Craig be the one they really need to watch?  Thanks for all your support, Chris; I'll have the next part up very soon:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hi Kim,Oops, well I’m late to the party as usual, LOL where’s the margaritas? Oh man I’d hate to be Craig right now, Brian is going to kick his butt up between his ears eventually, poor Justin!

I’m glad Brian didn’t give Justin a definite “no fu**king way” when Justin told him about wanting a baby, Ha- I can already see a blond haired, blue eyed, Justin mini-me, even though I think it will be along time in coming.

I also have a feeling now that Adam Stewart is out of jail; Fin, Tony, Brian and Justin haven’t seen the last of him. As Benton said “the guy sounds like a real lunatic”. Great update and looking forward to more, my friend : )

~*~ Hugs, Janet

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  Not too late - just posted this yesterday, and it's been pretty quiet lately.  So I appreciate you taking the time to leave me feedback.  Yes, both Adam and Craig are not slinking away quietly into the night, but Craig may actually wind up being the worst of the two, at least when it comes to the four men.  I think it would be unrealistic to have Adam come stalking back now, but that's not to say that he won't still create some problems.  (How's that for a tease?  LOL!).

I have much of the next part of this written, so it shouldn't be too long before I can post the next update; then it's onto "Parent Trap."  Thanks again for the comments, Janet; and congrats on the wonderful response to your first story post on here!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

What a super chapter, well worth the wait.  Was over here looking and what popped up makes me very happy--doing the happy dance.  I really hope things don't get too much worse, but I know you and more angst will be a coming.  Justin finally brought up the baby--I'm so excited.  I wondered when he would broach this subject.  Y ou did well to put it on the shelf for a while--but it cropped up.  Will be interesting to see how this plays out and who the momma will be.  We all know it will come to fruition sometime soon.  You have a few badasses to get rid of and a successful campaign to win first.  Of course the lady in question could become pregnant and deliver after the governor is elected.Hee Hee!!!  Just a thought. Have to go and finish my housework.  My place has been neglected too long. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, lindc!  LOL!  Lee DID beat you this time - he said he thought you hadn't seen it yet.:)  I'm so happy that you liked this chapter.  I actually wanted to wait and post it along with the next part, but it had been so long since I posted I felt bad, so I thought I could at least post the 7,000+ words I had so far and then post the next part shortly thereafter, so hopefully that will help make up for it.  Yes, Adam isn't quite done yet, but how he responds is still up in the air.  And we haven't seen the last of the 'other' badass, Craig, yet, either, I'm afraid.  And Alex will be making a return appearance in the next chapter, I think.  So I have still have a lot to cover yet (oh, yeah, there's an election, too - ha!).

Thanks so much as always for reading and for the review!  I'm so glad that things seem to be looking up for all of you.  I hope you all have a great week!  Tell Nonie and Brian I said hello. *Hugs*  ~Kim

GOOD BUILD UP  FOR WHAT I KNOW IS COMING.  GOD THE PRESSURE.  I LOVE IT. POLITICS IS SUCH A DIRTY GAME, DON'T KNOW HOW ANYONE WANTS TO RUN FOR GOVERNOR OR PRESIDENT, SUCH A THANKLESS JOB FOR NOT THAT MUCH MONEY.  THIS STORY IS QUITE ON TOPIC NOW AS WE WAIT FOR THE BIG ONE COMING UP.  HAVEN'T REALLY MADE UP MY MIND YET.  I DID REGISTER THOUGH.  I'M REALLY GLAD THIS CHAPTER IS HERE.  LINDC HASN'T READ IT YET I THINK.  SHE WAS TALKING A WHILE AGO ABOUT THE BABY PLOT.  SHE WILL BE GLAD IT WAS DISCUSSED.  BRIAN WILL BE ON BOARD AS HE GIVES IN TO JUSTIN WHATEVER HE WANTS.  MUST BE NICE TO HAVE A SPOUSE LIKE THAT.  WELL I'M OFF TO WORK.  LUV 2 U.

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetheart! Yes, I think you beat lindc this time - LOL!  I wanted to put up what I had so far, since I knew it had been so long since I had updated.  There may yet be a few surprises along the way; in fact, I can guarantee it (wink, wink).  I still have quite a bit more to tell yet, so I hope you and the others will bear with me.:)  I have quite a bit more of the next part already written, so it shouldn't take too long before it's up.  Thanks for all your support, Lee; you really are special, my friend.:)  *Hugs* and love to you, too.:)  ~Kim

Oh, and yes, another new banner! I thought it was time to change things up a little.:)

Author's Response:

Hi, Luisa, my friend! Thanks for bearing with me during my rather long delay in updating this.  I have a lot of the next part already written, so it shouldn't be too long before I post it.  I appreciate your feedback and your ongoing support.  Thank you again reading and for the comments!  *Hugs*  ~Kim
