I like your Carl. he likes Deb, trying to understand gay people, and very good detective!! I hope he consider Craig and kip as suspects too, though. But no one knows Justin and Kip's incident. *Sign*

I wonder why you mention no funeral scenes. There was no such scene after the Rage party. When Brian was attending what he thought was Michael's funeral in a dream and saw himself in the casket it was after the bombing at Babylon much later.

The "no funderal scenes" refers to this AU fic. It's a hint to the reader... I don't want to give away too much, but it's my way of saying that the ending won't be as bleak as it may seem. Especially in future chapters.
Again, this is an AU, and it may parallel the show at times, but it is will veer away, facts will change, etc. Many fics do that.
