If only I didn't have to work.  I'd love to stay home all day and finish reading your stories.  <sigh>  Glad to see that Daphne's next on the list.  I wonder how much if any Justin remembers of her.

PS.  Andrew is in love with Jacob, thought I'm sure that Justin in any form is easy to love.

My first thought was not Michael...Emmett maybe, Cynthia definately, but Michael?  Then you throw Deb in the mix and it turns out that Deb's the one to trigger a bit of memory!!! It was good that Ben, ever the diplomate, was there.

>

Author's Response:

I agree - at least Ben was good at being the sensible one in the pair!  Always seemed like a rather odd matching to me, though...:)

This story just keeps on getting better and better.

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 13, 2011 07:50 AM · On: A Mother's Miracle

Well that went well...I just have this feeling that once Debbie finds out she's going to blame Brian.  Maybe I'm wrong, I kinda hope I am.

Author's Response:

Don't fret - she won't look at it that way....:)

I wonder if Justin will be able to talk Brian into making the loft more lived in.  There is so much that this chapter will lead to.  Deciding who and how to tell people that Justin is ALIVE!  and going to get groceries. lol.

Author's Response:

Yes, there's going to be several chapters where this is explored......I wouldn't send him out for groceries, though - may run into the "zucchini man" - LOL!

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 11, 2011 09:27 AM · On: Sow With Tears, Reap With Joy

it's so nice that Brian admits that getting Justin back is worth any amount of pain that might result.  But does he really want Justin to remember the bad times?  The times he pushed Justin off Mount Kinney?

Author's Response:

Hmmmm....Good question; but I guess if he didn't, it wouldn't really make Brian the person he is, or make their eventual stronger relationship as sweet....:)

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 11, 2011 08:59 AM · On: Filling in the Gaps

Sigh.  This chapter makes be melancoly.  I feel sorry for Andrew, sorry for Brian, and sorry for Justin, especially when he finally meets Debbie.

>

Author's Response:

Yes, they still have some ups and downs to go through.  But if you hang in there, it's heading toward a pretty spectacular finale (if I do say so myself - LOL!):)

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 11, 2011 08:29 AM · On: Where is Home?

I'm glad to see that Justin's willing to go back to Pittsburgh with Brian, but I can't help but feel that Brian is being a little unfair to Andrew.  True Andrew never stood a chance with Justin, but he did take him in.

>

Author's Response:

Yeah, Andrew is actually a decent guy, and he won't be giving up totally, but he unfortunately had the bad luck to fall in love with a man whose heart already belongs to someone else...:)

Reviewer: Emy (Anonymous) · Date: January 11, 2011 12:11 AM · On: Poppa's Back!

Hi!

first of all, i'm sorry for the mistakes i'm going to make but i'm  french and unfortunately not really bilingual so please forgive me!(but I can read and understand your stories, lucky for me..;)

I wanted to thank you for that story and for your stories in general because there are just so good... I have a preference for this one, stirring up trouble and I don't (I haven't read the wedding present for now, but I'm planning to very soon!) but all your stories are really great.

I have to said you have a real gift for writing emotions. It's so good to read stories so well written with a very good plot. I understand you are a teacher and I admire you for finding the time to write such good chapters so fast! So, thank you for taking the time to share your gift with us and please keep going!

Et encore Bravo!

Author's Response:

Hi, Emy!  No need to apologize for your English - I can understand you just fine!:)  Thank so much for the kind words!  I am so glad you are enjoying my stories - just knowing others are enjoying what I am writing is compensation enough for me to continue them - as long as I know they're being enjoyed, I would love to keep writing about them.:)  I should be (hopefully) wrapping up "The Wedding Present" soon before I start on its sequel, so hopefully by the time you begin reading it, it will be a finished story.  Thank you again for all the kind words and especially for taking the time to leave a review!:)

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 10, 2011 10:16 AM · On: I Won't Give Up

So you take the last bit and make my stomack drop, then you have Justin clarify what he meant.  Wohooo!  "No Brian...I won't give up on us. either."  Way to go!!!!

Author's Response:

I know - I was really naughty with that line, wasn't I?  But it worked, didn't it? LOL!

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 10, 2011 09:57 AM · On: Doing What's Best for Him

I don't think Andrew is delaying this reunion but I could be wrong. And he thought Justin was inpatient!!!Will meeting Brian bring it all back?  If that's the way it works send me a good looking guy who loves me.  Please!!

Author's Response:

You and me both, especially if it involves someone who looks Brian (Gale) does - LOL!

Reviewer: Ergenie (Anonymous) · Date: January 09, 2011 12:46 PM · On: Poppa's Back!

This is such a beautiful story!!!!!!.... Some chapters had so much emotion in them that I had to cry with your characters!!!! I love that although you made Brian a more sensitive and loving man, you still kept his character just like canon!!!! Well done!!! simply well done!!!!!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much - what a lovely review.:)  I'm so glad you enjoyed reading - thank you for taking the time to leave me a review.:)

Reviewer: ColorLet23 (Signed) · Date: January 09, 2011 06:05 AM · On: Poppa's Back!

Thank you soo much for this journey. I cried my eyes out because I really and truely did sympathize with Justin and Brian. I could feel their pain and frustation-tear. Their love for each other was felt from chapter to chapter. I always knew that Brian's mind fucking cock could be the cure for all things. Yummy!  I also love your writing and ability to pay attention to details and story developemnet. This fic is definately a FAV :o) Two Thumbs Up!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed my story - that is what I need to encourage me to continue them!:)  I love writing these and knowing that others are deriving pleasure from them, too, makes it worthwhile for me.  Yeah, this one was a real tear-jerker at times, but I hope it made up for it in the end.  I would certainly remember a LOT of things if I had the pleasure of Brian Kinney's company, too - LOL!  Thanks again for reading and especially taking the time to leave a review!:)

Patience has never worked very well with Justin.  It was nice that he got to see Kayla again.  I wonder what you've planned for the fundraiser?

Well, don't want to spoil it, but let's just say it's going to lead to a very dramatic turn in the story....:)

Finally, maybe someone recognizes Justin.  Did Blake ever meet Justin?  Will Teddy believe him? Onward to the next chapter.

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 08, 2011 09:37 PM · On: Here in Your Heart

Gee, what happens when Justin finally gets to Babylon?  The whole place will be so changed he won't recognize it.  Love the part about the story that leads to giving Brian a chance to tell Gus about Justin.  To think he told the truth, he just didn't know it.

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 08, 2011 09:20 PM · On: Looking for Answers

Poor Brian, he really doesn't want to tell Gus about Justin. And with good reason, he just doesn't know it yet.  I approve of the way Melanie is portrayed, it's so refreshing.

I like Andrew, but I don't want him getting too close to Justin.  See what your writing does, it brings the characters to life.

Justin's art and Brian seem to be the keys to his memory.

>

Author's Response:

I think you're definitely on the right track, my friend!:)  Brian alone will be the one who finds out about Justin through a rather unique method - stay tuned.:)

Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: January 08, 2011 07:58 AM · On: Poppa's Back!

I did finish the last chapter but my happy pill was kicking in and I was too sleepy this morning to leave the last review.

This was a most delightful read which I totally enjoyed having. Your description of the characters was perfect; the plot spell-binding and executed perfectly. I was glued to my chair (most of the time) and driven to finish the story.

I write therefore I'm a writer; however, when I read a story like this one I know I'm seeing not the work of a writer. Anybody can write. You, are an author and that's a big difference. Thank you very much for publishing this story here so I could find it.

Author's Response:

Thank you for all the encouragement and the kind words, my friend - they mean a great deal to me.  I am posting the sequel to "Going, Going, Gone" right now - hope you'll have a chance to read it.  It's complete but is 47 chapters long - I'm loading the chapters as fast as I can - LOL!  Thanks again for the very warm welcome on here.

It's a lucky thing that Andrew took such a liking to Justin.  I'd hate to think what he'd be going through it not for the offer of an apartment to stay in.

Oh no, It's beginning to look like Brian's going to be in Canada when Justin makes it to Pittsburg.  I have a sneaking suspicion that Justin's not going to meet anyone he knows, hopefully I'm wrong.  Good chapter

Reviewer: Diana (Anonymous) · Date: January 07, 2011 06:43 PM · On: Poppa's Back!

WOW !!!

That's all i can say right now. I'm still wiping tears from my eyes as i write.
I love ALL the stories you've posted so far, but this one was really special.

The thought of Justin never regaining his memory and Brian beeing without him for the rest of his life has really scared me. But i absolutely LOVE their happy ending. Especially their reunion in BRITIN. LOVE THAT PLACE!!!

Best wishes to you.
Diana

Author's Response:

Thank you, Diana!  So glad you lked it - this one was one of my favorites, too.:)  Hope you'll keep reading the stories - I plan to update all of the open ones regularly and I have a couple of other ideas for new ones (but I have to get some of these other ones finished first - LOL!  Thanks again for takng the time to review.

I'm sure glad I stayed up some more to get to this lovely climax in the story. You wrote it so well too! You captured the happy playful Justin perfectly and it was so sweet how he teased Brian to realization.  BRAVO!

Author's Response:

Thanks for all the comments, my friend - glad you stayed up to (almost) finish it (not sure if you got to the last chapter or not....And, no, you do NOT get a free dinner although I HATE to make mistakes when I write - LOL!  I actually don't use a beta so I try my best not to do that, but after writing several thousand words in one chapter one or two invariably slips out, even though I've probably gone over it several times - ACK!  Thank God for larger font size....ha!

Do you love to pour on the major angst routine! HA! The new Justin will be livid and Brian will be in a world of trouble for doing this to him.

I tip my hat to the good doctor for setting Justin up for the emotional breakthrough he needed to experience; for Jim Beam to loosen up Brian before hand, and for a persistant little blond who knows how to best repair want's wrong with him. Now they are getting somewhere :P

Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 02:31 PM · On: Reality and Hope Collide

Well I didn't see that coming at all, but under the circumstances I can understand. Maybe absence can make the heart grow fonder for Justin. Like he said, he needs some space.

And maybe it will be harder to find him for Dr. Bradley since he won't be at the loft :)

Or I see a plot set up coming that brings that Dr. Meddler into the fold at Justin's weakest hour. You are so wicked girlfriend!

Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 01:51 PM · On: His One Constant

Dumb doctor! That was not the way to handle the first visit so soon. That time of memory loss can be hours, weeks, months, or years, or never for trama injuries. Psychotherpy could help too but you didn't mention it.

There was no reason the doctor couldn't dange some real hope the first year.

I'm up to 12 cents now :)

Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 01:24 PM · On: Preparing for the Doctor

GOTHA! You said they were eating at Kinnetik, not the loft in the last section's title.

I had to pounce on that since your very rarely make such a mistake :)

Do I get a free dinner at Chili's or something? :D

I thought Britin would ring a bell for Justin and it rung a couple of them.

Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 12:31 PM · On: Baby Steps

I'm sure Justin can fake it with Gus well enough to get by. He can claim to have been in an accident and got a boo boo on his head, but he was feeling better. That's enough for a six year old. My 2 cents :)

Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 11:53 AM · On: Emmett and Clearing the Air

I just had a thought how Justin survived the train wreck. Had he been outside the cars between them or at the very back looking out during the ride he could have been thrown clear of the wreckage. Just a thought.

Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 11:20 AM · On: A Grudging Apology

That was very bold of Ted canon wise. Of course he rarely gets one up on Brian and anyone would see he was thinking about what Blake went through too. I was half expecting a diner scene in this chapter :)

Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 10:29 AM · On: Next Stop: Memory Lane

Gee I wonder if a public appearance is wise at this point? Who knows who might spill the beans to the media. Just a thought. Maybe Emmett can show up too huh?

Reviewer: JTSecrets (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 10:02 AM · On: Swirling Lines Coalesce

Maybe some close encounters of the erotic kind is just the thing to jog his memory back. I think intense emotional memories are the best to bring forward again. Once they start returning they are usually a tidal wave of memories for someone with Justin's condition if I recall hearing about them in RL.

I like how you did Cynthia here and didn't repeat too many facts again. You sometimes do that (if I can offer some friendly advice writer to writer :)

Now I should get ready for some angst since you warned me about it too. Eventually the good doctor will rear his ugly head soon. And we still have Emmett to make his appearance :D

A first I wanted to slap the shit out of that girl and then I realized it was just like her to jump to conclusions too. You have a true master of canon and it shows in your writing. You sure are racking up some featured blue ribbons sweetheart :)

I'm not surprised either; you're a real asset to the MW community. Now if most of our regular readers take the time to find out. This is some of the most entertaining reading I've had in quite a while from a fresh voice in the fandom to us here.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, my friend.:)  I'm so happy that you and a lot of the other readers are enjoying my stories - I get a lot of pleasure out of writing them and it thrills me to see them acknowledged!  The blue ribbon was a surprise for this one - I didn't even know it was there at first, but I'm absolutely thrilled by it as well as the others - it helps makes all my hard work worth it.  Thanks again to you and all the other readers for all the reviews and for making me feel welcome here.:)

Author's Response:

Wow!  What a wonderful review - I'm going to get a big head now - LOL!  I'm so glad you liked it.  I know it was a very emotional story, but I think it really helped show how Brian could change for Justin, as well as how well he knew him.  And don't worry - I will be updating all of my stories on a regular basis.  Thank you so much for reading and especially taking the time to review!:)

How nice that Cynthia doesn't want to leave Brian alone.  Love the discription of Andrew's apartment, but I hope that Justin doesn't get too comfortable.

Author's Response:

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 08:49 AM · On: New Memories Forged

Me thinks Dr. Bradley has just given us a hint that he's gay and doesn't know it.  It is kind of him to offer to take Justin in.

Author's Response:

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: January 07, 2011 08:39 AM · On: Lost Love, New Starts

I can't blame Brian for not wanting to attend a memorial for Justin.  That would be giving up all hope too soon.  "Jacob" certainly has a way about him, perhaps  the good doctor will be able to help, but I gather it won't be any time soon. <sigh>

Good ole Dr. Bradley...every plot needs a villian I guess, a troublemaker, a wrench in the gears, a third wheel, but really; this guy should know he doesn't stand a chance.

This chapter was indeed hearbreaking and took me longer to read than normal.  At least we got to the part where Justin is still alive <sigh of releif>  But will have to wait to find out how he hot out, what happened to his companion, and more important when will someone realize that he is Justin Taylor.  I'm assuming that's gonna take awhile?

I'm impressed the good Dr. hasn't jumped his bones yet :)

It could be just the thing to jog his memory better :D

Good of the Dr. to help him out. I wish they did more to let others know of someone like Justin in the media or use his fingerprints for ID. They would be in the police database from his arrest. Just a thought.

The good Dr wants some blond boy ass no doubt. Well I have a feeling he won't get any :)

Great parallel events here to follow. Loving the story so far and getting hooked rapidly.

Looks like over 40 chapters of pure B/J torture ahead of me with this one :)

Author's Response:

Oh, I'd say only about 39 or so - LOL!

Now we have an idea how bad off Justin may be. Looks like another major masterpiece of prose from you here.

Author's Response:

Yes, I hope you can tolerate the rather sad plot mechanism of yet another amnesia fic - but I think this one will  hopefully hold your interest for a while.:)

Incredible. You really got me going here. I'm so happy you said it wasn't a major death fic but I fear how injured Justin may be in a fire.

Author's Response:

Yeah, I made sure to define that right away - personally, I get so involved with the characters, I can't normally handle death fics.  This one's going to have some heartwrenching moments in it, though, for a  while for Justin's friends and family and especially Brian.

OMG! Opening chapter with a damn train wreck and a firey one at that.

I'm in the middle of transferring all MW files to a sister website for testing and backup. This allows me time to read too. We have nearly 2GB of data on the website and over millions of files. Quite a project indeed.

Author's Response:

Wow!  That sounds like quite a job you've got ahead of you!  Yeah, I thought I'd just get into the meat right away - ha!  Glad you'll be checking this one out....:)

I loved this story and I had a few tearful moments but I didn't despise the the angsty aspect of it. I particularly loved Brian's commitment and voulnerablity ...fantastic story overall and thanks for writing it.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Kim  - so glad you liked it!  Yeah, it was definitely a roller-coaster ride on this one.  Thanks for the review!

It's a good thing you warned us that this wasn't a death fic.  Just how does Justin survive?  Guess I'll have to continue reading to find out.

Author's Response:

You will soon find out what's going on, but it's going to take some time for the boys to find their way back to each other; but you're in for quite a ride in the meantime....!

This may take me awhile to get through, but because of all the warnings I've just gotta read this and oh no...a train wreck for the first chapter!!!!

Author's Response:

Thanks for tackling this one - it's quite a ride - hope you're ready - LOL!  Would love to know your reaction to it....:)

So glad to find this gem.  I read your fics on fanfiction and was so glad to see that you're posting here.  Looking forward to more of your work.  I really enjoy your B/J fics - great imagination, writing, and characterization.

Another pat on your back, well done and very enjoyable!

I am really liking this so far, but, I have a question...or 2.

At some point wouldn't the police be notified of this "John Doe"?

Shouldn't some type of feelers be put out to identify who Justin is, picture or something?

Can this doctor really be trusted, is he really looking out for Justin?

Have to get ready for work, it's going to kill me to pll 12 hrs knowing this story is here.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review, Tanya.....Yes, I suppose you might to have suspend your belief just a bit about the "John Doe" part, or perhaps with it being in Harrisburg and not Pittsburgh, they may have already thought of that but it wasn't broadcast statewide.  Even if there WAS a "John Doe," with everyone thinking there were no survivors in the crash, I don't think Justin's family and friends would have put two and two together anyway.....As for the doctor, I will say he's pretty legit, but you will have to find out how their relationship evolves through the course of the story.  Do not fear, though, B & J will be reunited eventually!  Thanks for reading this!:)

I sent you an email spending 2 cents your way. Sorry not to know you were posting chapters and this was a finished story. I hope to read it as soon as I can make some time. I know it's going to be great.

Author's Response:

Hello, my friend - I just replied to your e-mail.....I totally understand.  I hope what I wrote back to you was okay as far as updating time.....thank you for being concerned enough to write - I couldn't agree more!
