I understand Brian's protectiveness, and disgust with Justin's "family" and "friends", but keeping them out of the loop also means even should they want to visit, Justin is all alone thinking they don't love him at all any more. :(
I think Emmett and even Vic could be trusted to keep the secret... and I honestly don't think Jennifer would ever abandon her son.

I loved the whole concept of this story! Brian friends did not know Justin long before the bashing. Maybe some of them would have forgotten him after he was no longer part of their circle.
