I really enjoyed this story, and the previous one. I love fun (and funny) B&J stories. Good job with Gus! I hate when he's written too babyish at 5 years old. As Brian's and Lindsey's child he would be naturally bright and imaginative. I would LOVE if they were taken to the circus, and we could have Justin do a major queen-out over the clowns! That would be hysterical!

Yay, I loved this update! Actually, it addresses one of the facets of Brian's personality that really irked me: He is an ad man who couldn't ever use words in his personal life.
Im pretty sure his disdane for "love" is based on his childhood memories and reinforced by his career of using words to manipulate the masses. I respect this a lot, actually. Words mean shit. Im a woman nearing forty and can testify that when it comes to any type of relationship, that yup, he nailed that one. Actions and putting in actual effort when it is required is what matters.
Still. While he used his command of linguistics to taunt, bait, and insult his friends, he rarely ever used his words to express appreciation, respect or empathy. He simply couldn't. (Though it must be said he ALWAYS came through when needed. Usually anonymously, because his distaste for particular words seemed to include "Thank-you's" as strongly as "Sorry's") So, in saying that, Im loving Justin's request:
"Come on Mr. Advertising Executive. Woo me with your words...Make me buy what you're selling."
