Sigh so beautiful. I loved you showed Brian’s process in dealing with his feelings and coming to term that this IS how he feels and that is he happy with it. I melted at how he approached Justin, that brought tears to my eyes. You sure know how to write Romance 💕💕💕💕

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for checking out this story too, Vicki.  I love trying to get inside Brian's head and learn how he thinks and feels.  I believe he is loved by so many of us because he is a complicated man with such varying degrees of light and dark, mostly thanks to his upbringing.  I tried to capture that in this story.  And the one thing that is clear to me is that Brian does do romance, but it could never happen with anyone other than his soulmate, Justin.  I'm so glad you enjoyed this story.  Again, thank you for commenting.  Huge hugs, Grammy

What else can I say when I read something as mushy and oh so sweet, but... Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!

Author's Response:

What wonderful comments, Weave the Magic.  Mushy is definitely my middle name.  I  love showing the more romantic side of Brian when it fits the storyline.  Glad you enjoyed it.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Beautiful!

Can I assume that Justin turned down NY for this piece?

~Nim

Author's Response:

I think that it is a safe assumption, Nim.  Even when I do send Justin to New York City in my stories, he doesn't stay alone for long or he doesn't even go alone.  I simply can't imagine those two parted for any real length of time...not when it is in canon form.  I'm glad you enjoyed this story.  Thank you for the lovely comment.  Hugs, Grammy

This was a wonderfully beautiful piece. I love how Brian finally came to terms with his feelings for Justin and  how he wanted them shown. Wondeful job.

Author's Response:

Thank you so very much for your lovely comments, Jackie.  I wanted to portray a more mature Brian than the one we were given until the last minute in Season 5.  Personally I believe Brian had it in him all along.  Why make the man suffer so long without the only man he could ever love completely?  I'm so very glad you enjoyed the story.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Thank you so much for your very kind comments, Saroco61.  I am very happy that you enjoyed my version of how things could have been.  Hugs, Grammy

Your twist on canon was so beautiful and believable. I really love your writing Grammy.

Author's Response:

Oh my, I can't tell you how much I appreciate you saying that, JTSecrets.  Whenever I go into a story that is set in canon time and space, I want to respect the characters totally, especially Brian and Justin who deserve to be treated that way.  They are such rich and full characters.  Your words have truly made my day.  Thank you very much.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Hmmm, sunny Texas sounds nice right about now! :D

No, unfortunately I am still in soggy New England, near Salem MA. Thankfully, my home is on a slight hill so I have not had to worry about flooded basements like many of my coworkers- however it has been making my commute to work a bit of a challenge as almost all of the routes I would normally take are completely submerged. And this afternoon coming home it looked as if even this last route may soon become inaccessible if this rain keeps up.

But, on the plus side my home is dry so if I have to call out to work for a day, so be it! There's a local joke/saying about "You can't there from here" and it's certainly becoming more truth than joke now!! :)

Author's Response:

I sure hope the rain has finally given you a break, HalfTime.  Just please don't send any of it down our way.  We've had more than our share this year.  LOL!  Hugs, Grammy

This is quite lovely! Just what I needed to help cheer me up after almost 3 weeks of straight rain...

Author's Response:

I am so glad this helped with the rainy day doldrums, HalfTime.  I know what you mean.  I thought the cold and rain would never let up but it is beautiful right now.  Hope you are getting more of the same that I'm having here in Texas.  Thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed my story.  Big huge hugs, Grammy

Thank you so much, Rose.  It must be wonderful having such a lovely name.  If ever a man deserved a rose it is Justin.  Talk about patience.  LOL!  Huge hugs, Grammy

A Rose for Justin:

Lovely fic thank you I think you could make a series or a sequel with other roses and meanings :)

What a lovely compliment, Bksbracelet.  I am busy right now trying to complete two ongoing stories so I'm kind of tied up right now, but you never know what the future holds.  Thank you so much for your kind words.  They are so appreciated.  Huge hugs, Grammy

I loved it. That would have been if the show actually did something to that effect. Great job.

Hugs,

Carlina

Author's Response:

I am so happy you enjoyed my story Carlina.  Thank you very much for taking time to let me know.  I really hated seeing Brian regress after Justin left so I thought I'd tweak the storyline a bit....well more than a bit, I guess.  Glad you approved of it.  Hugs, Grammy

if that's the result, brian should have groveled a long time ago.

i like this turn of events better than the show's. great job.

Author's Response:

Hmmm, groveling?  I kind of thought of it more as Brian finally coming to his senses and gaining the strength it takes to be truly honest with both himself and the man he loves, but I am really glad you liked my version of how it should have gone down.  Thank you so much for commenting Sherrie.  I always love hearing your thoughts.  Huge hugs, Grammy
