Michael, Michael!!! Always thinking of himself. How "he" lost his best friend. You just want to shake him. I know that Justin will have no trouble keeping his promise to Brian to keep in touch with Gus, but can understand his not being able to do so for Michael Thank heavens for Emmett and Daphne, between them will do their best to be there for Justin. You have the voices down so pat that it's almost like watching the series.
Author's Response: Michael has a good heart, but he's always been pretty self-centered when it comes to 'me me me'. I enjoyed trying to tell things fom Daphne's perspective - she was always a good friend to Justin

OMG you're killing me. I almost burst into tears in the middle of Panera Bread reading this!!! Such a well written story, even if it is horribly sad. Thanks.

I usually try to steer clear of major character death fics, but my curiosity got the best of me and I had check out this one. I've been sitting here for I don't know how long reading this and at one point not being able to see the words on the screen due to the tears that filled my eyes.
This is just heart breaking on so many levels, its difficult to think of Brian gone and I can't imagine the pain Justin is feeling right now. But he has an inner strength that only Brian really knew and understood. Justin will handle things the way Brian knew he could.
Author's Response: First, thank you for taking a chance on the story. I know death!fic is not for everyone - but I hope it's as much about teh love as it is about loss. I can't imagine anything more heartbreaking than the world without Brian Kinney in it - and yes, he always saw things in Justin that nobody else (including Justin) did. Thanks for sticking with it!
