WOW... what a cold-hearted BASTARD Craig is.... he doesn't give a fuck if he loses full custody of Kai... as long as it doesn't cost him a dime.... Yes, It´s a great responsibility. They don´t always will get it right. But Kai is better of with Justin and Brian. He is responsing to Justin. I think this is a huge step in the right direction. Love every new chapter.

I've had a lot of catch up to do since I was out of town for a few chapters...You never fail in your writing...can I say that this was another great chapter or in my case chapters...lol...all I have to say to Justin in the words of Emmett, you go boy! I'm so glad that he gave thta selfish tool (won't say what I really want ) Craig the papers to get custody of Kai...Craig is such a bastard seemed like he was more worried if Justin was going to try to get financial support than Kai, but what else is new from this selfish ass...I know that Brian and Justin will give Kai all the unconditional love and support that he needs...Can't wait for the next chapter...since I'm finally caught up.

I understand about the financial support but I think Kai's mother has to sign this documents too. Otherwise the custody will not be legal.
This is a great story and I love it very much.
Author's Response: She abandoned him and has not supported him financially since she left 3 months prior. Plus, she is in another country. It's the judge's call and given the circumstance, is more than likley not going to pursue it. Every state has a different ruling on how to consider abandoment a form of child neglect. But you're right, it should be brought up in the hearing. Thanks for putting that thought in my mind. I'll have to consider that!

glad to see the boys are taking this seriously. Justin should not let Craig off the hook that easily. Craig is responsible for Kai financially. It's irresponsible for Justin not to seek support. He has no 'real' job, no means to support Kai, other than Brian. It's selfish of him not to ask Craig for financial support and expect Brian to pay for all of Kai's needs, which will be many.
I hope Brian has a sit down with his son to talk about Kai, and why he's moving in with them. Gus is a smart boy, and knows his daddy loves him, he just needs his daddy to talk to him and explain things.
Great update. Still loving this story.
Author's Response: The problem is, if Justin seeks full custody, then legally Craig doesn't have to give Justin or Kai any money. Unless Justin seeks for child support, which then could cost him his full custody... giving Craig the option to seek joint custody. Every state has different rules, and family court unfortunately often looks at who can pay for the child, not who actually cares about the child.

yes brian should talk to gus, as much as he'd be able to understand.
good for justin for keeping his cool and not letting craig throw him. even if he gets custody, craig should still be help responsible for kai's care. just like child support.
