I'm glad Gus and Jenna aren't rushing into anything. They have all the time in the world, they're still kids. I was wondering how what Lindsay did to Gus would effect him as well. I'm sure Brian and Justin are going to keep an eye out for any signs that something may be wrong.

Real LIfe has me over a barrel lately. I'm so happy to see you still reading and leaving me comments. Gus is one of my favorite characters to write about. Kids are strong and can overcome amazing things we might think are impossible. Thanks Kat.

Excellent talk between Justin and Gus. Teens have many questions about the first time and they can’t always talk to someone. It's also a good thing Jenna and Gus can expose their apprehension. I just hope for Gus that his memories don’t create a blockage. I think he can get over it.

I’m longing now for the time in Pittsburgh ...Debbie will be very happy

Excellent

Author's Response:

Gus is very strong and will not let the memory affect him if possible. Justin is great with Gus. Thanks Gex.

I loved this chapter. Justin is marvelous with Gus. His talk is perfect. Gus feels relief and can speak with Jenna. She can also clarify things with Gus.

I'm sure the whole family on the East Coast will be very happy to see family from the West Coast...

Great chapter

Love

Author's Response:

I like writing the parenting stuff. Gus is an easy kid; I can think of more challenging kids to tackle. Love back!

Excellent chapter. I love it. Brilliant.

"The memory of his mother going down on him as a child entered into his mind. “I will not let that shit mess with my head and Jenna.” Gus said to himself determined to rise above the abuse and have a normal life."

That part is so powerful, a few words. It's make me so angry, so sad, want to scream, want to punch somebody. I cry so hard. My tears won't stop while I'm writing this.

Genius you guys. Pure genius.

Love you so much JT. Love you more Mr Hamster.

Author's Response:

Gus can't change what happened but he can control how much it affects him. He's determined to rise above it all. Thanks for the compliment and we're so glad to entertain you.

Bravo!  J and Gus had a great 'talk', but then the dads have always fostered an environment where Gus feels he can speak freely.  And because of that support he could also speak freely with Jenna (and she in turn was relieved).  I'm glad that he and Jenna cleared the air.  I'm sure they will have lots of fun anyway!  In fact, I think because they'll get to know what is pleasurable to each other before they decide to go all the way, it will most likely be a mind blowing experience for them when they do. *g*

Mass exodus to the Kinney kingdom in the east.  That should be fun and  make Deb happy, too.

What's happening in Michael's world...wasn't he going back to school?  Is he still in Kinnetik maintenance and his Mark in Kinnetik security?  Mildly curious...

Good one!

Author's Response:

It was always easier for Gus to talk to Justin about things. The next chapter is started but I got sleepy and slept for like two days straight. Thus why I'm so late answering reviews. We visit Debbie and get an update on Michael too next chapter.

Thanks cakdg for commenting.

I thought Justin handled the talk very well. Gus sounds about right for his age.

Author's Response:

Justin isn't far from being a kid himself and can relate to Gus on his age and level. Thanks for commenting.
