I can't see Vance screwing this up.  Looks like Kinnetik did good.  Shame Gus doesn't get to go to west coast, but at least he gets to see Ireland

GREAT chapter!

Made me feel bad for Vance then glad the duo decided to give him a chance, enjoy how you do that w/ the characters & story line!

Author's Response:

Remember Vance and Brian once worked together as partners and were friends until the Stockwell crap happened. Thanks Susan for your comments. They truly help me write to know I have readers interested enough to let me know.

"In the Circle of Life, it's the wheel of fortune, it's the leap of faith it's the band of hope. Till we find our place On the path unwinding In the Circle, the Circle of Life"

Wow, Vance coming to Brian for a job! How the mighty have fallen, Brian should make him sign a non-compete agreement like Vance wanted him to sign.

Author's Response:

Brian would simply fire any ad man who attempted to compete with him. A clause isn't necessary; loyality is a given and expected with employment. Kinnetik is large enough not to depend on one client's account. Vance will prove to be a good employee in time. Thanks Kat for reviewing and commenting.

I had to giggle at J's envy over Mark's new body.  But seriously, I can't see J having the time or energy to execute the same workout regimen that Mark has.  Besides I've never had a problem looking at either B/J with appreciative eyes *g*

So, Vance wants a job at Kinnetik.  It took guts for him to apply and if he's going to stay in the field the best place to be is Kinnetik.  I like the Karma that B has set up in giving the man a chance.  And gave a lesson to J in the art of business forgiveness...

Another great chapter!  On to the next...

Author's Response:

Justin may not have the time or the trainers to make the same body but he will get into improving what he has. Vance could have  gone to work or into a bottle. He was smart enough to want to work. Brian realized he has experience and the education to be of use to them and he did have a good relationship with Vance until the Stockwell shit hit the fan. I'm happy you're enjoying the story.

Poor Vance ! I feel sorry for him. It’s difficult for him to come here and face his ex partner asking for a job. He swallows his pride.

Justin can find the best coach and take up karate... but when practise ? A day, it’s 24 h, even in Pittsburgh. Justin, you are beautiful. You had only 17 when you got your hands on the Stud of Liberty Avenue, and now, he's your husband...It’s no small thing. Perhaps, Mark, even as beatutiful as a god, might not have managed it. « The heart has its reason that reason ignores » - Pascal –

Very beautiful chapter

Author's Response:

Vance was wise going to work. He had a good relationship with Brian until Stockwell happened. He wanted to hire Brian back but lost him with a no compete clause in his contract. Brian felt he didn't trust him. Things get better for Vance soon.

Last night I read this chapter but I am so sleepy at that time, So I read it again today and review.

What you give, you get back. That what Brian is doing all this time. It's karma.

Hehehe, I laugh so hard with Justin reaction. Don't worry Sunshine you're still hot, Brian love you (everybody is hot in different way).

Good chapter as always.

Author's Response:

Thank you complicated for your comments. They really inspire me to write. Karma is real; that's for sure. Justin was the hot #1 blond boy until Mark came alone so he is feeling bested a bit however he'll get over it.

Wow! Brian is really great. Now, Gardner isn’t a bad man. After Stockwell, he was ready to hire again Brian whatever his price, but he made a strategic error by including a non-compete clause in the contract. He has lost the best part of Vangard. Now he has nothing and it must be difficult for him to come here with his tail between his legs to beg for a job

I love the little crisis of jealousy from Justin.

Magnificent chapter, brilliant, unexpected… Perfect

Big hug

Author's Response:

Brian has plans for Vance and they are very good.

Imagine you're the hottest gay blond boy in the universe for years; loved by everyone, then along comes Mark and knocks you off your pedestal and takes your crown. Justin's floored and for the first time someone is more beautiful than he is. Albeit he is the original JT and it's an honor for Mark to play him.

Glad you liked it.

Excellent!

Author's Response:

We old men can dream of second chances....Vance got his. Thank you.

great chapters JT. What is Vance really up to? Is he really serious about working for kinnetic, or does he have something else in mind. sounds like mark is having a great time also.. good for him... it sounds like everyone is happy..

can't wait to read some more..

Author's Response:

Gardner Vance is on the level and needs an opportunity to restart his life new. He could go to work or crawl into a bottle at this point. Next chapter Brian and Justin go to Malibu and visit with Mark and Jerry. Thank you Lesley for reviewing.

love that vance clearly had an epiphany (SP???). clearly he is great in a supporting role, not as a lead.

Author's Response:

You spelled it right. Hitting bottom will do that to an honest man. Brian too has the same hunch as you as a supporting role at Kinnetik. A team of highly skilled salesmen in the field druming on doors could be very important for them. Thank you so much for your comments alys. They are such a help to me writing for you.

I didn't see this chapter coming. You never think about older workers or what happens to men who fail. Vance has so much promise and Brian was wise to give him a chance. I feel like I'm taking a very interesting business course reading this story as well as enjoying B&J's relationship and friends.

I have a good feeling about Vance now.

Author's Response:

"Ah, but for the grace of God goes I" Brian was thinking looking at Vance across his desk, down, low self esteem, broken, ont the edge of wasting the rest of his life. Brian did have a good relationship with Vance until the Stockwell fiasco happened and Vance let him go in fear. Honestly, Vance barely passed the interview.
