Looks like with everything going their way Brian and Justin could retire. It's nice to see Melanie working with instead of against them. It's hard on Deb knowing her son did wrong but she's doing the right thing.

Multi-millionaires! How surreal it must be to have a movie made of one's life story so far (even if it is Rage based).
Linds is off to Canada, good.
I'm glad that Mel was able to tie up all the legal issues surrounding the custody of Gus and his name change, so there is no connection to Peterson except on his birth certificate.
How true to life Gus is as a sensitive kid, to think that what happened to him was somehow his fault. Good that Deb was able to reassure him.

I love when Gus is in the story. He ‘s too cute. And I love also Brian and Mel are on good terms. I prefer this instead of their constant clashes (as in QAF). And then, it's beneficial for their little boy... And Debbie, isn't it the best granny ?
To sum up, I would say I loved this chapter

Between visiting hours in ICU and looking after a small 6 years old boy who doesn't understand very well why he can't see his ‘ama' (mum in basque) for the moment, the time flies. Well, tonight, he's with his daddy and tomorrow, with my brother and my fathers (good luck, men !) so I can have a break and make up the delay... Hey, 4 chapters (marathon reading and marathon comment for me).
It was a pleasant update. I'm happy for all the good news. I can't wait to see what happens next, so I go on with the story

l'm sorry, but that stuff with Jerry just ticks me off. Anyone, gay or straight who thinks they are in a monogamous relationship is going to be outraged to discover their partner is being unfaithful. So Brian's patronizing 'wives won't understand it' comment is ridiculous. How would he know? Does he have a wife? He didn't take it too kindly when Justin was running around on him with another man, l'd like to see his face if it was a woman. Jerry's comment ' l love my family' Rubbish..Have the decency to tell the woman, the mother of his children the truth. Let her make an informed choice of who she is sleeping with. l thought Justin and Brian were all about 'Truth and not hiding" l feel this chapter lost me. Good with Michael and Lindsay
