Wow, what a nightmare! Linds is psycho and definitely needs to be put away. Yes, Gus may be a Brian minime, but he's still a child and hers to boot.
I like this Mel. She is not using Gus as a pawn, she truly loves him. I'm glad that B&J will have total custody of Gus. He's at an age where the male influences in his life are more important anyway.
Michael is such a moron. Just like a child (albeit a 35+ years old child), thinking only of himself. Not understanding that by hurting Justin, he hurts Brian too (as well as the rest of the family). But they need to have him arrested to protect themselves. Deb will have a cow.

I've just finished reading Forever Yours and I just wanted to say how brave I think you are to take on a subject like child abuse and treat it in such a sensitive and positive manner.
When I read the part where Justin talks to Gus about what has been happening to him, using his little leather bear, I found it really moving and I found I had a lump in my throat all through the various scenes.
I am waiting to read the next part to see how the story develops and how Brian reacts to Justin's confession that a similar thing happened to him when he was a young child.

Author's Response: Thank you Eileen for your review. I did a lot of research for that chapter on child abuse. It wasn't an easy chapter to write but it was important to set up the stage for the story. I hope to have the next chapter posted tonight.

Loved it! I do hope that Mel at least stays in contact with Gus, hes gonna need all the support and love he can get :( An added boon would be if JR and Mel really became a constant in BJ and Gus' life...nothing, well almost nothing, would frost Michaels cookies more than his daughter looking at Justin as a parental figure, I can just imagine his reaction,lol.
I hope that Lindsay doesn't try to get off with a psyche defense, crazy bitch though she may seem, she knew what she was doing,huh.
Was definitly not expecting that from Justin, though given his active and healthy sex life with Brian its clear that he dealt with it and put it behind him. I think it would be a good idea to have Gus at least meet with a couselor, though Justin can relate and help Gus tremendously, the big difference is Justin was abused by a cousin, not a parent. Not that what happened wasn't awful, but they are two different situations.
Will there be any fallout from the art department situation?

This is a really interesting story. I'm glad Larry called Brian rather than go along with Michael's plan. Not to sure about Justin's revelation that he was sexually abused at Gus' age, but it will be interesting to see where you go with it. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Didn't see all this coming. I just need to stop being surprised/shocked with your stories!
Before I get to the serious stuff, truly enjoyed the new, refreshing working environment in the art department. Very nice.
Now, Linds as lost her mind but I know she'll be taken care of, yet another thing I enjoy about your stories; JUSTICE.....Looking forward to Michael getting what he deserves as well.
Gus is so cute & sweet. Thankfully, kids do have an unique ability to deal w/ & move on from things. Gus should get evaluated w/ a professional just to make sure. You're right though, not everyone needs counseling. He may however, once he's older & completely understands the magnitude of what his mother has done. Then, w/ how he's going to be raised & deal w/ it now & along the way, he may not. So many variables come into play.
Now Justin, goodness, totally wasn't expecting that. I really can't see either one of his parents doing that but certainly not Jennifer, if you're including the sexual abuse. I can see Craig getting physical though.
My head is still spinning, can't even imagine what it was like trying to write this installment.

Author's Response: Thank you so much Susan for such a detailed long review. Your right about Gus and spot on to how I plan to deal with it in the story. Justin was sexually abused by an older cousin who was still a kid too; more like experimentation extreme since they were both children. Justin will reveal more later on about it. I hope to have the next chapter up later today;I've already started writing it.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review complicated. I cried too writing it and often had to take a break and compose myself. I promise though, the story will soar as high as the lows are low. Once the two people obsessed with Brian are out of the picture; the happy times begin. I'm known for writing a wicked roller coaster with evil cliff hangers at times. The length of each chapter represents an eposide of the show. Justin will make Gus well; the boy will be fine.
