I look forward to the training.  Justin has way too much power, like you said, he could incinerate Brian!  If his and Brian's relationship is not that of Master/Slave anymore, as some other reviewer suggested, then that needs to be established in the story. But the stroy started out as M/s.  Even if that means the slave has more physical powers.  If the relationship is to remain M/s, then Justin does need training and I'm glad you are addressing it. Otherwise all that "Yes Master, I'll do anything you say (as long as I agree with it) doesn't ring true. If you want to make them equals, but if not, I love the training idea you presented!

Sorry for the name mixup in the earler review Gina. I've been up over 48 hours and not all together when I was typing. Justin very much enjoys and obeys the rules of M/s with Brian. This was a very different situation when he was emotionally on the edge with fear and a desire for revenge. Boys will act out of character when deeply upset and mentally unstable. At times like that they need understanding not discipline. Still Justin needs training and it will begin in the next chapter to become more mature and follow some ground rules when he doesn't agree with a command. It's worth noting that never has Justin spoken out this way once in over a year with Brian.

Thanks for understanding the direction of the story. There will be techniques of mild BDSM in the future but nothing heavy. There are things of that lifestyle which are positive and others that are not. I'll not use degregation, excessive pain, sex sharing, etc, in my story.

I agree with B's assessment of J's behavior.  I didn't feel that J was necessarily disrespectul, as much as it was the heat of the moment.  B confronted J with his plan about the upcoming trip to Italy in front of everyone.  I think he left the floor open for J's response to occur also in front of everyone.  J had a better plan, he wanted to avenge the attack on his son and protect B as well.  Yes, J is embraced, but he is equally powerful.  Why wouldn't he go?

IMO because of J's capabilities/power, I don't think B/J could have the 'typical' embraced relationship anyway.  They would never be average and I look forward to their journey.

Loved the visual of the two vocal, sensuous felines getting it on.  Very hot!

Edward's reaction to his brother's reaction to B/J cat sex was funny.  Was Emmett a little bit jealous?  After all, our boys didn't need to 'destroy a house' (ref. the Cullens chapter) to have really steamy sex! lol.

Thanks for such a lengthy smart review. Even with Justin stronger and more powerful like  two men in the military the higher ranking man is in charge and the lower rank must obey orders. The military rule is obey first, ask questions later. Justin will learn to follow that rule. He is still only an 18 year old boy in a barely 17 year old body. He has much to learn before being an equal with Brian. The sub plot in the story is Brian is whipped a bit and gives Justin too much room to run in. He too has to tighten the belt of control for Justin's sake.

Emmett just has a bit of attitude on him. He's really a good guy with a big ego, and the man you want with you in a fight.

I'll try to produce a chapter tonight if RL permits me to.

I liked the cat sex, but was disappointed Brian didn't at convey to Justin more 'seriously' the severity of his actions.  Of course Justin was justified in insisting he go fight, and was very instrumental in bringing the bad guys down, but like Brian said, they could have discussed it in private.  Instead Justin disrespected Brian in public. In front of the Count even! Not cool.  He was way to lienient with Justin.  He critized Jordan for being to lieniet with Casja, but no where in your story does Casja disrepect his Master in public.  He participated in orgies, but Jordan never told him he wanted to.   Justin directly disobeyed an Order his Master gave him, and in front of a legend.  The count.  Some punishment, IMO, should have been dealt. At the very least, a strong reprimand and show of displeasure, was warranted.   Brian never mentioned his displeasure at Justin, and I don't believe Justin understands how it must have looked disobeying his Master in front of others.

Please don't take this as criticism of this story.  I love it, as you know. Just stating my opinion on how Brian handled this particular situation.  Being a bossy bottom is one thing but taking charge is another.  again, like Brian said, Justin could have argued his point in private, and even made the decision to go against Brian, in private. It was his son after all. Doing it publically, to me, deserved 'real' punishment.  And then forgiveness.. :-)

Author's Response: Before the punishment is over Justin will be wishing he got a severe public reprimand. The boy is headed to Boot Camp gay style. Thanks so much for your review; and I seriously here you. I spent about 1000 words inside Brian's head. Remember he's dealing with an embraced lover who is more powerful than most vampires. He could toast Brian's ass! Not that he would do it. Justin needs training and understanding. Thank you (this is not the first young man I trained :)
