Brian noticed that Justin had become unusually quiet after he had imposed the newly defined constraints of their relationship. Darkness had been replaced by sunshine, and neither Brian nor Justin had been aware that morning had come. The Warden's booming voice broke the disconcerting silence, as he made an announcement ending their confinement. It was quickly followed by the click of the office door as it unlocked. A guard soon opened the door and entered. He noted Brian's disheveled appearance, and asked if he was alright. Brian just nodded, and the guard turned his attention to Justin. "You ready to go back to the cell block Taylor." As his eyes met Brian's, Justin shrugged his shoulders and said, "I guess so". All that Brian could manage to vocalize at the moment was "Later", as he watched Justin leave. The kid was finally gone, and Brian promptly collapsed onto the sofa, and let out a tormented sigh. What the fuck had just happened? He couldn't bear to see the kid hurting, and chastised himself for letting things get to that point. Brian was going to have to be more careful in the future. But Brian would have had to be made out of stone not to be tempted by this young Adonis. He was human after all, and Justin looked so astonishingly beautiful with his tear stained cheeks, and damp strands of golden hair framing his cherubic face. And that kiss...that kiss had been extraordinary. A tidal wave of desire and warmth had washed over him. It made Brian almost stagger when he broke away, because the attraction had been so immense. Justin had surprised him with his fervor. For perhaps the first time in his life, Brian was fearful because he was not in control of his emotions. Right now, he knew he couldn't afford to let his feelings for Justin get in the way of his more important quest to help him. Meanwhile, back in his cell, Justin's mood was slightly upbeat. Now he knew for certain that Brian was gay, and he also confirmed that Brian cared about him. The chemistry that existed between them could not be fabricated. For a fleeting moment, Justin could detect the profound effect he was having on Brian. They were like two polar opposites forcibly drawn to each other like magnets. It made him smile to himself, and gave him hope. Brian knocked back his third shot of Beam. A night at Stonewall's was just what he needed to get that blond haired twink out of his head, or so he thought. Besides the annoying complication of wanting to fuck his ward, Brian couldn't stop thinking of Justin's heartbreaking confession. The boy had been violated and hurt by his poor excuse of a father. Brian couldn't fathom what Justin must have endured. That bastard! He took away the kid's right to a safe, carefree youth. He stole his innocence. It made Brian's stomach turn. After a couple of more shots, Brian was well on his way to becoming shitfaced. As he kept thinking about the injustice of Justin's plight, he became more and more enraged. How could that asshole live with himself? In the end, it was his best friend who had to prevent an alcohol laden Brian from tracking down Justin's stepfather, and beating the proverbial shit out of him for scarring his Sunshine.
