Author’s note: The song Brian’s singing is “Just That Good” by The Calling.
It was the twenty-first of October and the fans were anxiously awaiting the return of one of the most popular singers in the United States. After a year long absence, Brian Kinney was coming home to the city that made him successful; Los Angeles. A little paint, to cover what's deep inside A little truth you know we all want to hide When I'm trying, I'm trying now to get to you But you're telling me like you always do, you say The crowd was in a frenzy as the first rhythmic sounds echoed throughout. The females went crazy as they shouted to be heard above the explosive beat of the music. Girls were throwing out proposals of every kind to the singer; “take me right here”, “I wanna be yours” and even “I want you to be my first time”. Don't hate me, cause I'm just that good This handsome man charmed even the males that were among the throng of fans. He was handsome indeed; very tall, slender but had a muscular body and intense hazel eyes. With all that he possessed they could tell he was still a simple person. I've got to hand it to you now You're a hard one to please When it looks as though, you've got all you need All the many times I've dreamed I could walk in your shoes What a nightmare it must be Just being you.. say However, his fans didn’t know that off the stage, Brian Kinney was a real asshole; he gave orders everywhere, treated people that worked for him as slaves. In other words, you could say that Brian Kinney was all but a simple person. “As usual, great interpretation, Brian,” commented Michael Novotny, Brian’s manager also known by some as the ass-kisser. “How can you say that? Tonight’s performance was absolutely the best performance I’ve ever done and you dare to say as usual?” The only reason why Michael hadn’t told Brian to fuck off was because he was hopelessly in love with him. “I’m sorry Brian. I’m afraid I’ve expressed myself badly.” “Look, bring me some black coffee!” Michael was just about to do Brian’s bidding when someone knocked on the door. “Who the fuck is it now?” Brian said, annoyed at the interruption. “Come in.” “Hi Brian, I wanted to tell you were terrific tonight,” remarked Emmett Honeycutt another one of Brian’s so called managers. Another fact people didn’t know about Brian Kinney was his hobby; he loved fucking men. Every night he went clubbing, he’d find a trick and fuck him until he was satisfied. After wards he’d let the trick know if he revealed to anyone who he was with, there would be consequences. Emmett had been one of Brian’s tricks. Only he didn’t seem to understand the concept of being a trick. A trick in Brian’s book meant that he didn’t do repeats. Unfortunately, for Emmett he didn’t get Brian’s no repeat policy and he saw himself as Emmett Kinney. “Emmett, I think we need to talk.” “Anything you want, Honey.” “Michael, do you mind?” Brian asked. As soon as Michael left the two of them alone, Brian said, “Look, Emmett, you have to understand; just because we’ve had sex once we’re not boyfriend and girlfriend.” “Really?” Emmett replied with a look of disappointment on his face. “Yeah, I don’t do boyfriends,” Brian said coldly. “And frankly, if I did do boyfriends, it surely wouldn’t be you.” “Why… why wouldn’t it be me?” Emmett asked in a shocked voice. “Well, let’s just say that you’re too much of a queen for me.” “But… but you told me you loved me.” “Emmett, wake up. I didn’t tell you I loved you, the “E“ did.” “So, you’re not in love with me.” “Fuck no.” “I’m going to ruin you,” Emmett said in an offended princess-like tone. “No you won’t,” Brian said cruelly. “Just think about what my lawyers will do to you. You; a nobody who slanders ME, the most loved rock star in the USA. It’s your word against mine.” “No Brian, you don’t understand. I’m not going to pull you out of the closet.” “And what will you do?” Brian asked, amused by Emmett’s false threats. “You only have to know that in the next few months your career won’t be so glittering anymore and I will be the one responsible,” Emmett said as he left the room and slammed the door. Taking out his cell phone he quickly dialed a number. “Hey Kip, it’s Emmett here… yeah, I’m fine… look, do you remember that guy who was very talented, what’s his name, Justin?… Good. Listen, I changed my mind… yeah, bring him to L.A. Let’s say in two days okay?… Yeah, I think Justin will be a perfect rock star.” Emmett hung up, a vicious smile forming on his lips. “Soon Kinney, very soon, I’m going to have someone to replace your ass as the best and your glittering star will shine no more.”
