Judas’ kiss was more sincere

“It’s not like I meant to lie to him, Daphne,” Justin offers as he lies on his best friend’s couch. “Uh….yes, actually you did.” She points out. Rolling his eyes, he turns away from her gaze, “Fine. I did. But what else was I supposed to say? I couldn’t go to Babylon with him tonight… I just feel so fuckin’ off. Everything is too fuckin’ bright and the back of my head feels like it’s on fire.” He complains. Lighting her cigarette, Daphne brings it to her lips, only to gag and quickly puts the butt out. “Why does everything taste like shit!?” Sighing, Justin closes his eyes. “Things only taste like shit that aren’t healthy… which truly sucks by the way.” “No shit.” Rubbing her face in her hands, she mumbles, “What the fuck is happening?” “Something, that’s for sure.” “I think my parents know. I mentioned to them the other day about my headaches and weird dreams… and I mean, I thought they were going to faint. It was so fuckin’ creepy. They know something.” Justin nods his head. “I think my mom knows too.” “So what the fuck is it and why won’t they tell us?” Daphne asks: the agitation apparent in her voice. Sitting up, Justin looks over at the window. His heart rate quickens. Daphne gasps, scurrying to her feet. “What the fuck? What the fuck?” They both feel it. Someone is looking for them.
