and would you catch me....?

Pulling on a pair of jeans, Justin walks over to the bed and picks up the shirt he plans to wear for dinner. “Justin,” Brian begins again. He had thought that after a nice fuck in the shower that his husband would be more open to talk about: 1. his nightmare 2. his sudden calm demeanor 3. the plan “Have you seen the menu?” Justin asks, avoiding the topic that he knew his husband was trying to breech. “I can’t decide whether we should eat at CityZen or Café MoZU.” Brian sits down on the bed, pressing the bridge of his nose. He really didn’t care where they were planning to eat. He just wanted to get his husband to talk. “Maybe CityZen tonight, and then tomorrow we can eat at Café MoZU.” “You mean after the show?” Brian queries. Justin shrugs, “Helps to plan ahead, don’t you think?” Brian is about to speak, when Justin interrupts, “Are Molly’s friends vegetarian? We could order the chef’s tasting menu… it’s a six course meal… but if they are vegetarian…oh, wait, no, they have a vegetarian option…” Brian interjects, “Justin.” Looking up, he smiles, “I’m sorry, am I rambling? I think I’m rambling.” Returning to the menu, he continues to read, “I’ve never eaten lamb before…I don’t think I can. I mean, the thought of it: yikes. Have you ever eaten lamb?” Brian blinks slowly, wondering if Justin had taken a breath before or after that paragraph. “Yes,” he replies, his speech purposely slow, “I’ve had lamb before.” Justin scrunches his nose, “Seriously?” Opening his mouth to speak, Justin cuts him off again, “Maybe we can switch it with something else…unless you really want lamb. Do you want lamb, Brian? Oh shit, they also serve duck. Why is it that all the expensive restaurants serve cute animals as meals?” Rubbing his temples, Brian decides that wherever they go, he is ordering a substantial amount of alcohol. The door knocks and Justin quickly puts his shirt on and goes to answer it, “That’s probably Molly making sure we’re ready and not fucking our brains out,” he comments with a chuckle as he practically jogs over to the door and opens it, “Hey, Moll!” Molly laughs, “Hyper much?” He shrugs, still smiling, “You guys ready to eat?” Adriaan nods, “I’m starving!” Justin nods his head, “Do you guys like ducks and lambs?” Groaning, Brian falls back onto the bed. This was going to be a long dinner.
