the marrying man

After another fantastic fuck in the shower, Brian and Justin spent the next few minutes relaxing in the silence of the bedroom. That is however, until Justin decided to turn on the television. Thomas and Lilly Pertucio were found murdered in their home earlier this morning in what police are calling a ‘gruesome bloodbath.’ Lilly Pertucio, who was 7 month pregnant with their first child… Brian grabs the remote from Justin’s hand and quickly turns off the television. “Are you okay?” Justin asks, confused about the reaction. Of course the news was horrible, but he had never seen Brian respond that way to a news program. Brian swallows hard, “Fine.” Frowning, Justin gestures, “Then turn the television back on.” Instead, Brian casually tosses it against the end table. “I rather not watch that shit.” “Uh-huh,” Justin replies, “You’re full of shit: what’s wrong?” With a huff, Brian stands up, “What the fuck is your problem, I said I was fine.” Grabbing a cigarette, he searches for his lighter. “Did you know them?” “Who?” Brian asks, finding his lighter and lighting his cigarette. “The couple that was found dead this morning.” Brian scowls, “Why the fuck would you ask me that?” Justin throws up his hands, “Fine, Brian. Whatever.” Naked, Brian sprawls himself over the sofa and stares up at the ceiling while he takes a drag. Sighing, Justin watches, wishing he didn’t have the stupid cast on his leg so that he could join his lover, or at least reach over and grab his sketch pad to draw him. Closing his eyes, Justin lets him mind travel to their last fuck in the shower. He smiles softly before opening his eyes once again to stare at his lover. Brian’s body is beautiful, as always, and as his eyes travel to his lover’s face, he stops suddenly when he notices the frown on Brian’s expression. Something was definitely the matter. “Brian?” Exhaling, Brian stares at the smoke above him, “Yeah?” “What was the deal you had to make to keep Molly and me alive?” Brian is silent. Immediately, Justin knows that this is what’s troubling him. Brian inhales another dose of nicotine, exhaling slowly. He didn’t want to talk about it. Ignoring seemed like the better option. “Brian?” Justin keeps his tone calm, though inside he felt like screaming. What the hell did Brian have to do?! Closing his eyes, Brian continues to smoke. Shaking his head, Justin knows he’s just going to have to dive right in. “Does it have something to do with that couple that was found dead?” Brian’s body automatically tenses, but he keeps his eyes closed, hoping that Justin didn’t notice. Of course, Justin notices immediately. “It does, doesn’t?” Getting out of bed, he hobbles his way over to the couch, slapping Brian’s leg for him to move and make room for him. Frowning, Brian moves his legs, sitting up in the process. Leaning his head back against the sofa cushions, he continues to stare up at the ceiling. Justin leans beside him, tilting his head up, “Yes, the ceiling is white. You’re very observant. Can we continue now?” Brian tries his best to ignore him, but Justin has always been a man of many talents. Nuzzling his nose against Brian’s cheek, Justin smiles softly, “Brian…” “Quit it,” Brian warns. “Or what? You’ll spank me?” Justin asks with a chuckle. “It’s tempting,” Brian muses. “Spank me later,” Justin replies, kissing Brian’s cheek. “First tell me what the deal was about.” “Fuck off, Justin,” Brian cautions, though there is no genuine threat in his voice. “We can do that later too,” Justin casually remarks, “But you’re avoiding the question.” “You’ve been avoiding mine too,” Brian counters, finally looking at his partner. Frowning, Justin asks, “What question?” “Marrying me.” Justin grins, “You were serious?” “No, I just keep asking you for my health.” Justin is silent, his eyes wide in surprise and his mouth half-open with a smile. Smirking, Brian comments, “Wow, I’ve rendered you speechless. I should I proposed ages ago.” Justin blinks, and then grins, “You really want to marry me?” Brian rolls his eyes. “I asked, didn’t I?” Suddenly, Justin becomes suspicious, “Why?” “What the fuck?” “Why do you want to marry me?” “You’re kidding, right?” Frowning, Justin continues, “Why now?” “Tell me you’re fuckin’ joking, Justin.” Brian states as he shakes his head. “I mean, before you didn’t even want to have a monogamous relationship… and now you want to marry me?!” Taking Brian’s cigarette, he sucks on the stick briefly before returning it to his lover, “It just seems a little odd,” With a hidden smile, he asks, “Why the sudden change of heart?” “You’re fuckin’ serious?” Brian asks. Smirking, Justin nods, admitting, “I think I have a slight idea… but I’ll like to hear your version of it.” Brian shakes his head, “You’re fucked.” Justin laughs, “And yet you still want to marry me.” Brian can’t help but smile back, “Yeah, I do. So will you marry me or not?” “Hmmmm,” Justin pretends to think as he leans back against the sofa, “That depends.” “On?” “Well, are you proposing because you suddenly realize that your life would be absolutely meaningless without me in it, or is it because you just love the way I give head?” Justin asks, trying hard to keep a serious expression on his face. Brian grins, “How about both?” Smiling, Justin looks over at his lover and announces, “Oh, then I have to marry you.” “Hmpf,” Brian snorts, “You’re a brat.” Kissing Brian softly on the mouth, Justin smiles, “Yeah, but I’m your brat.”
